Here is part one to "A past to be forgotten":

 

"Autumn, my favorite season."

 

The leaves start their quiet descent to the ground as Lola walks down the path at the park.

 

"Life is so boring right now. I need some excitement... of some sort anyway." Lola continues walking, lost in thought. Stopping suddenly, she gets an idea.

 

"I know, I'll go visit Kagome. She always knows how to cheer me up, plus she knows how to have fun."

 

Lola runs all the way to Kagome's house, and when she gets there, she notices something different.

 

Something's not right. I'm not sure waht it is, but I know something's wrong.

 

Deciding to investigate, Lola turns toward the little shrine house, sensing something. She starts to get a little nervous and starts to walk quietly toward the little shrine. Opening the doors, a putrid smell emerges from the shrine. Lola shuts the door quickly and covers her mouth in an attemp to relieve the wave of sickness that overwhelms her.

 

"Ah man! Just my luck! I go to investigate something, and I get bombarded with stench city! Gross!" she pratically shouts.

 

"Is anyone there? Hello?" comes a voice from inside the shrine. Lola recognizes the voice as Kagome's, so she calls back.

 

"Kagome? Are you in thhere? It's me, Lola."

 

"Lola? Uh, what are you doing here?"

 

"I came to see you. Is something wrong?" Lola asked her.

 

"Uh, no... not really anyway."

 

"... Well, why are you still in there? Can I come in?" At this point, Lola was starting to get very suspicious. I wonder what she's hiding. If she thinks I didn't notice, then she's got another thing comming.

 

A short silence passes. "Well, yea you can come in, but don't scream or anything, okay?"

 

Lola agrees and goes to enter the shrine. Wal;king up to the doors, she hears whispering from inside.

 

"Shh Inuyasha, just get back inside the well so she won't see you."

 

Lola slams open the doors, and before she can do anything, there is a streak of red heading toward the well, then it dissapears. O...kay, that was a little wierd... What was that thing? Oh my foobles! It stinks in here! Man, I think I'm gonna be sick...

 

"Hi Lola, heh."Kagome sweatdrops.

 

"Kagome, why does it smell so bad in here? You may as well tell me, cause eventually, I'm gonna find out. You know me, I'll do anything to find out." says Lola with that 'get-on-with-it' look plastered on her face.

 

Kagome sighs audibly, knowing she's right, then starts to explain all about the sacred jewel and about her current quest. Lola sits on the ground all through the story. When Kagome finishes explaining everything, she looks at Lola on the ground, who is looking toward the ground.

 

"Umm, Lola? Are you okay?" Kagome asks with concern.

 

"Kagome," Lola starts, voice full of some emotion that Kagome can't place at the moment.", I'm soo gonna KILL YOU! *scene changes to outside the shrine as Lola keeps screaming at Kagome* YOU KEPT THIS FROM ME FOR HOW LONG NOW? WHAT THE HELL? I THOUGHT WE TELL EACH OTHER EVERYTHING! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!" The birds in the trees all fly away as Lola continues to berate Kagome.

 

*back inside the shrine* Kagome is sitting on the ground as Lola stops screaming at her. "Nggh!" she sais in surprise.

 

Lola gets off the ground and dusts herself off. "Well, I feel better now. So, Kagome, mind if I tag along? I mean, you know how boring my life is now, and from what you told me, it sounds like an adventure. Can I com, pleeeeeease?"

 

Wow! I've never heard Lola yell at someone like that before, and I've known her for as ong as I can remember! thought Kagome, frightened out of her wits. She looks at Lola, who has adorable puppy eyes, and decides to let her come along.

 

"*Sigh* I suppose you can come along, Lola. But you have to remember that it will be dangerous, and you'll need to learn how to fight." said Kagome.

 

Lola gets all starry eyed and hugs Kagome."Oh, thanks Kagome! I can't wait to go!...Wait, what was that smell as I came in? It has mostly dissapeared now, but it was awfull!"

 

"Oh, that! That was Inuyasha... he had a little accident involving a skunk demon. I was trying to convince him to come into the house to get rid of the smell, but he wouldn't come. He's so stubborn sometimes."

 

Lola and Kagome decide to go to Lola's house and pack for the adventure. They arrive at the door and enter. Running up the front stairs, Lola goes in search for all her necessities.

 

~An hour later~

 

"... and my MP3 player in case I'm bored, and some notes that I sent to a couple of friends, and some make up and-" Lola is cut off by Kagome.

 

"STOP!" At this, Lola goes dead silent. "I think that you're taking too much stuff. You have been naming off a list of items for 10 minutes strait! Just take your necessities and some leisure items."

 

Lola looks toward her pile(more like a mountain) of stuff and starts to pick out certain items, and packs them away.

 

"There, I only have a back pack full now, plus my MP3 player. I think I'm all set."
