Well well, I have returned and I plan on making this one pretty fun. I'm not sure if you're going to get any deaths in this chapter but I think something needs to lighten up the mood in this story. It can't all be horror and death but actually the real reason I'm doing a chappie with a lighter mood is because I, as the writer and a person need to be cheered up ad since no one is here to do something at this point I need to do something. I'm going to explode in a little while without something to clear my mind. I mean really, I'm typing here while listening to evanescence. Pretty sad, huh? Well I guss ill stop ranting and start typing the story. And I do not own Inuyasha or anything but my own mind.

 

A Shadow's Heart

Chapter 4

Lying in the golden mist

Kagome walked on and on for hours straight with no clue to go upon in search of Inuyasha. It seemed that no amount of fans to him could provide her a legible answer besides “He is so great!” or “I love him so much!” She even got an honest “He is sexy in my eyes.” From an old woman.

So she decided that she would lie back on the murdering thing for now and have some human fun. Kagome walked some more with no destination until she came across a sign that was posted that said “Talent show!!!!!!” and the place it was held in was a nice bar on the east side of the city.

 

“Well I have found my fun, for now that is. Better get a head start there so I make it when it starts.” So she went on her search for the bar called “The Chu Whoop bar”. `What a weird name for a bar.'

Kagome closed in on the big bar. Sadly her killing streak went on for the walk here. `Those idiots were in for it anyway, no one will try to rape me and get away with it alive' she thought.

 

She entered the bar and went straight for the bartender.

 

“Hey, my name is Itzutari; I'm the owner of this bar, and the bartender. So what is you want?” she asked.

 

“I'll just take a margarita. Heavy on the salt.” Kagome asked.

 

“Coming right up, and do you want that in a Chu?” she asked with a smile.

 

“A wha?”

 

“Your new here I see, I'll show you. HEY DON!! WAKE UP!!” The old drunken man woke up, startled and held his hands up in the air awaiting something. “It's Chu time!! CHU!!!!” A little light blue blob looking thins came out of nowhere and said Chu tow times while bouncing around in happiness. `Is it drunk too?' Kagome thought to herself.

 

The little Chu started by somehow sucking up everything for the margarita including the ice and glass. Then it started to shake around playfully in its bloated form. All the people in the bar started to scream “CHU WHOOP!!!” as the Chu did its little dance. Ten all of a sudden a pop was heard. The little Chu was gone by the margarita stood there in front of the man named Don looking as perfect as ever.

 

“So do you want a Chu or what?” Itzutari asked looking proud of her own creation.

 

“Actually I think that ill pass on the show and just get a plain one.” Kagome said.

 

“Ok, suit yourself.” She said while making the drink. “So you're here for the talent show or what?”

 

“Ya I thought I would check it out.” Kagome said looking at the empty stage, save for a drunken idiot who was trying to strip.

 

“Well if you're here to watch then don't be surprised if you're throwing tomatoes at people who can't do anything. All the people are drunk here but you seem immune to alcohol so maybe you should sing something r even do something to make it better in here. I'm tired of giving away plastic medals to some guy who dose the same dance to that Brittany Spearse song (A/N: I do not own).” She said with a dull look.

 

“Well I don't have any music but if you do I'll sing something I guss.” Kagome said with a weird look in her eyes.

 

“Ok go to the back of the stage and choose away, you'll be our opening act.” Itzutari said while pointing to the door to the back of the stage.

 

Kagome went and looked through all the songs and finally found a song that she liked and waited for the opening. Walking on stage she began to sing her chosen song, tourniquet by evanescence.

 

“I tried to kill the pain
but only brought more
I lay dying
and I'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal”

 

Kagome had heard this song somewhere but had remembered it perfectly. The deepness of the words got to her.

 

“I'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming
am I too lost to be saved
am I too lost?”

 

She understood this song and as the chorus approached she began moving around on the stage to the song's beat.

 

“My God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

do you remember me
lost for so long
will you be on the other side
or will you forget me
I'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming
am I too lost to be saved
am I too lost?”

 

The chorus repeated and then the bridge. She danced around until she heard what they said.

 

“I want to die!!!”

 

`Maybe its true…I guss I wanted to die. I was so depressed back then'

“MOMMY DON'T DIE, PLEASE!!!!” The 7 year old Kagome screamed at her stabbed mother. “Please…if not for me then for daddy.” She looks at what was left of her father. Nothing but a arm. Blood was everywhere and it covered even Kagome.

 

“Honey, please take this and never leave it. Do it for mommy. I……..I love you honey“ Kagome's mother died there in front of her face with no heartbeat left to hold on to.

 

“Mommy……mommy please………..NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!” she screamed as she ran away from the scene with the gold locket that was given to her.

Kagome tightly held on to the locket. It held a picture of both her mother and father. But there was a flap on the other side that she could never open. So she forgot it and sang away till the end.

 

“My God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

my wounds cry for the grave
my soul cries for deliverance
will I be denied Christ
tourniquet
my suicide”

 

The song ended and Kagome looked out into the crowd of cheering fans and then she saw a face that she knew from somewhere.

 

“Sesshomaru…”

Well that's all and like I said, hardly any killing….well if you don't count the flashback. Anyway the next chapter makes up for it in a huge fighting scene so review and you will see more.
