Well I have returned and another chappie is in need. So I thought id full fill your needs and give you a chappie full of fighting. It's gonna be cool and oh so important so if ya don't read it you'll miss out in another piece of the puzzle of this story. ^-^ and I no own Inuyasha.

Chapter 5

When two ends meet one whole is created

Kagome walked off of the stage and put the CD back in its case. When she was done she left the back of the stage and went to say hi to an old acquaintance.

She approached the tall man and stood there waiting for him to notice that she was here. Though she already knew he sensed her from the begging.

 

“Hello Kagome. It's been a long time hasn't it?” He said in a low tone while turning around.

 

“Don't get all sweet with me. You know as much as I do that I hate your guts.” Kagome spat at him.

 

“Might I ask what you're doing here…you should be dead. If I'm not mistaken you were killed by my half demon brother, am I right?” He said in his monotone voice while ignoring her previous remark.

 

“Ya well, its none of your business and I'm getting tired of hearing your voice so just go to hell now and save us all some time!!!” Kagome screamed as she pulled out a pocket knife and lashed out at him.

 

Sesshomaru easily avoided the strike and forwarded with his own punch which hit her in the stomach. He was waiting for her scream of pain and heard none. She fell to the ground and got up just as quick. Sesshomaru's eyes widened a little in wonder as to why she was not hurt. Any normal human such as herself should have been paralyzed if not dead from his punch. Yet she looks as if she felt nothing.

 

“Wondering why I'm not in pain? Well it could be because no matter what you do I can not be killed or hurt in any manner, of course why that is has nothing to do with you, so be happy I told you that.” Kagome explained.

 

Sesshomaru of course cared not about this and took it as a lie to hide her pain. But little did he know that he was the one who was going to be in pain because of his choice to continue the battle.

 

Sesshomaru lashed out at her and she equally came at him with full force. After a little while of this Kagome became annoyed at his determination to kill her. So she decided to fight without her hands.

Kagome raised her hands up and then crossed one over the other. A white light came forth form the middle of her cross and shot toward Sesshomaru. He easily blocked it and went on with an assault with his whip. It cut clean across her cheek leaving a bleeding mark. Sesshomaru once again wondered why she did not show any pain. But thought he should end this quickly. He had more important things to do.

He shot forward and shoved his green glowing hand through her heart. But the reaction that he wanted of her did not happen. He thought she would either die or seriously scream but something else totally different happened.

 

“YOU PERVERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Sesshomaru then noticed what his hand went through but wondered how she could think of this in her situation. Really, his hand went through her heart and the acid was eating away at her as blood mixed with it. And yet she worries about how he could strike her there.

 

“HOW DARE YOU DO THAT, I HAVE MORALS AND YOU SHOULD TOO!!!!!” She said as she kicked him…….well where the sun don't shine. Of course he may be a demon but she was strong and that was his……area…….so he was sent to the ground in pain.

 

“Your being annoying so your existence should not be if you are a perv.” Kagome said as she pulled out a sword out of nowhere. She came closer and then was about to cut him in half when she herd him whisper something.

 

“You know that killing me won't make them come back. And it won't make the thousands that I killed come back either. You know that nothing will come of this and that you are acting like a idiot……what would mommy have said……hehe.”

 

Kagome's eyes widened as realization hit her and things came back.

A young kagome walked up the hill that separated the forest, where she had been picking herbs, from the town she lived in.

 

She began to run in an attempt to get to the top before sunset. When she finally got there, she had not expected to see what she did. Her entire town was up in flames and she could see all the little dot like people run around or lying on the ground not moving.

 

She dropped her basket full of fresh herbs and ran as fast as she could to her home. She rushed past people who had been cut in half and were still alive with a horrifying look in their eyes and she saw people on fire whose bodies rotted away to the flames. She saw houses that were destroyed and she saw some that were falling. She ran and ran until she came to a house that rested on a small street of destroyed buildings and dying people. She noticed that it was in good shape, considering the circumstances everyone was held in. she walked in and the scene changed dramatically. There was blood all over the walls and no sign of any bodies.

As she walked into the living room she saw her dog lying on the coffee table, or at least half of it. The other half was separated throughout the room hanging from things and lying in places. She proceeded throughout the house until she got to her parents room. She slowly opened the door and saw her mother laying there with cuts and bruises all over her body. Her leg was twisted forwards and her arm was torn off and lying next to her. She was bleeding baldy as she laid there. Her father on the other hand was scattered everywhere and his guts and organs littered the floor and hanging from the ceiling fan was her fathers head tied to a string.

 

Kagome let the tears of sorrow fall as she rushed over to her still living mother. Though she was just holding on.

 

“Mommy!!!!!!!!” Kagome screamed.

 

“Honey, I'm sorry but I can't be here anymore...”

 

“NO MOMMY DON'T SAY THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!”

 

“No baby, I can't stay for much longer and I have to go real soon.” Her voice came out as choked blood filled words that stabbed Kagome each time she spoke them.

 

“Mommy……please doesn't…….” Kagome sobbed.

 

“I'm sorry….I'm so sorry…” her eyes were closing every second.

 

“MOMMY DON'T DIE, PLEASE!!!!” The 7 year old Kagome screamed at her stabbed mother. “Please…if not for me then for daddy.” She looks at what was left of her father. Nothing but an arm. Blood was everywhere and it covered even Kagome.

 

“Honey, please take this and never leave it. Do it for mommy. I……..I love you honey“ Kagome's mother died there in front of her face with no heartbeat left to hold on to.

 

“Mommy……mommy please………..NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!” she screamed as she ran away from the scene with the gold locket that was given to her.

 

She ran out the door of the house and was stopped by someone she ran into. She looked up and saw golden eyes staring down at her. She ran away and never looked back. Not at them or at the man who was responsible.

Tears fell from Kagome's face as her parents' death hit her and the murder as well.

 

“YOU KILLED THEM!! IT WAS YOU ALL ALONG!!!” Sesshomaru has a strong feeling of pride as he got up from the ground. He thought she would do nothing to him now.

 

“DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed as she sliced his head clean from his body. She has a horribly scared look in her eyes as she continued to slash through him over and over again.

People stared at her and ran away.

 

 

`He did it. He did it. He did it…….'
