Kagome groaned inwardly, as she pulled herself out of the well. The journey between the two era's seemed to be getting increasingly difficult upon her. Between school, and re-obtaining the shards of the Sacred Shikon No Tama, Kagome had had no time for a social life, back in her own time.

"Inuyasha?" she called, as she pulled her small frame from the Bone Eaters well.
"Inuyasha, I'm back!" Placing her hands on her hips, she squinted through the rays of the light that had filtered through spaces amongst the leaves that grew on the tall trees that loomed above her.
Where is he? She thought, as she started towards the path that lead through InuYasha's forest, towards Kaede's village. Her irritability had grown in the last few weeks with him, due to his lack of appearence, when he was needed, and his arrogancy towards Kagome.--And her feelings. Sighing, she pushed through a large mass of bushes, and began the deep downhill climb towards Kaede's village, where she knew she'd find some friendly faces.
