Chapter 5: Reactions.

"……..what is this Naraku?" Sesshomaru demanded.

"As I said…in payment for my apparent "failure" I am giving you my servant… She is well versed in many forms of her trade. Use her as you like, Lord Sesshomaru…or kill her. She's yours now." Naraku said calmly.

No emotions cross the girls face, but her mind raced with her thoughts. Had she done something to upset Master Naraku? Why had he just given her to this man? Was he no longer pleased with her service? Why?! She kept her eyes downcast as she listened to the men speak as if she was a fixture of the room.

"What are you plotting? I have no use for this…hanyou…" Sesshomaru said as he spat the last word like a curse.

With a sly smirk Naraku looked over the hanyou and then back to Sesshomaru as he spoke, "Not even if this "hanyou" was your own blood?"

Sesshomaru's gaze had followed Naraku's to the girl dressed in a simple kimono who's amber eyes were staring blankly at the floor. As he heard the last words his gaze shot sharply back at Naraku.

"What?" was his response.

"This little hanyou…was taken from your father in a demon attack. You remember, ne?" recognition filled the youkai's eyes remembering the event well, as Naraku spoke.

"What is this you speak of Naraku? You weren't even alive then…." Sesshomaru said coldly.

"Perhaps….I have been versed in time travel though…At least then I was. I was there to kill InuYasha before he could become the pest he is now, unfortunately I was no match for your father and had to come back here….So I took a souvenir along with me…Since then however I have not been able to accomplish time travel. No need however." Naraku said with a small wave of his hand.

Sesshomaru slowly remembered the events of that day. His anger, that his father cared so much for a lost hanyou. He narrowed his eyes remembering the fleeting glimpse of a white baboon, with an echoing laugh. He wondered why, until now, he had forgotten about that damned baboon.

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru…this hanyou is indeed your half sister…And now your servant…You may leave now, before I have you destroyed." Naraku said standing to leave.

A low growl escaped the demon lord at Naraku's arrogance, and with a snap of his energy whip he sliced through Naraku's body. Naraku's body fell into pieces and then vanished leaving a small wooden doll in its place, reminding Sesshomaru that Naraku was too chicken shit to meet with him, himself; instead he sent his demon puppets. He stood and glanced at the now trembling hanyou and started for the door.

"Come." Was all he said.

"Yes Master…"the girls voice rang out as she hurried after he new Master.

She had a brother? How could this be? She had never known that she had family. What would this bring her now? Her mind echoed with these thoughts as she followed the demon lord outside.

"Jaken." his cold voice called out.

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru!" came a high pitched response, announcing the presence of the little toad demon that followed Sesshomaru diligently.

"Take this hanyou back to Ah-Un..." Sesshomaru commanded.

"Y-yes m'lord..." Jaken stammered looking over the hanyou his lord had indicated and wondering why she looked so much like that Hanyou InuYasha, "Come….", he added ordering the hanyou to follow him back to the two headed dragon where the human girl Rin was waiting.

With no sound the almost lifeless looking girl followed Jaken as Sesshomaru watched still digesting that this girl was in fact that bastard InuYasha's sister.

What was Naraku up to? Was this girl a spy? He wondered as he followed behind.

"Jaken!" the girl called Rin cried happily and then blinked seeing the girl who followed him, "Who's that, Jaken?"

"Shut up Rin!" Jaken growled as he looked back at the girl who followed him, "Hurry up hanyou!"

The girl moved quicker falling in step behind Jaken, her eyes never leaving the ground.

"Hello! My name is Rin! What's yours?" Rin asked happily as she walked over to the girl whose eyes never left the ground.

"this one is called Tsukari, Mistress Rin." Was the girl's almost, monotonous reply.

"It's nice to meet you! Please just call me Rin. Why do you call yourself `this one'? How come you have ears like InuYasha? Why do you always look at the ground?" Rin asked all at once.

The girl blinked back surprise as she continued to look at the ground not sure how to answer.

"Rin…leave the hanyou alone." Came Sesshomaru's voice which silenced Rin's questions, "Tsukari! Can you cook?"

"Yes Master. This one is well versed in cooking…would it please master if this girl cooked something?" was her automatic response.

"Yes! Jaken go find something for the girl to cook. Tsukari….sit down until Jaken returns." Sesshomaru ordered.

"Yes m'lord!" Jaken said as he hurried away grumbling about the newcomer.

"Yes Master." Was the girls reply, as she knelt down where she stood and waited.

"Sesshomaru-sama? Is she going to be a new friend for me?" Rin asked softly.

"Tsukari! From now on you will watch over Rin…"was Sesshomaru's response.

"Yay! I have a new friend!" Rin cried moving over to Tsukari who was kneeling on the ground and started firing off more questions.

Sesshomaru watched the stoic girl and Rin; silently he still wondered why Naraku had given him the girl and what his plan was.

Naraku sat silently in his castle with a small smirk on his face. Now that his servant had left he wondered how close she would get to Sesshomaru and contemplated leaking information to InuYasha that Sesshomaru had their sister as a servant. Maybe…he could get the two to destroy each other and he would no longer have to deal with the arrogant demon lord or his meddlesome hanyou brother. His mind began to slowly put his plan together all the while his evil smile widened.

"KAGURA!" he called awaiting the arrival of the wind sorceress so he could have her deliver a message to InuYasha.

His laugh echoed around the silent room as Kagura approached wondering what Naraku wanted now.

AN: Hehehehe….I know. Sorry it took so long to update but thanks to those who've reviewed I am getting more into writing this story. I love this…^^

Inu: What the hell is going on?

Michi: Shush….*evilly chibi's InuYasha and sticks him in a Santa suit.* Heh….There…

Inu: O.o;;

Sessh: Baka Hanyou…

Michi: Oh pooh Sesshy….your turn! *chibi's him too and sticks him in an elf costume*

Sessh: Kuso….*storms away his little curly shoes jingling as he does*

Koga: Look at the mutt face….*laughs hysterically until he too fall victim to Michi's wrath and is turned into a Chibi Rudolph* WTF?!

Miroku: *walks up and blinks looking at the two chibi's and the retreating Sesshy-elf* A-ano….*turns to run and is chibied and turned into Mrs. Claus*
