A Vampire's Love

Chapter 9

Hojo and jealousy

*Yasha's Room; Morning*

It is now 8:00am and Yasha and Kagome are still asleep. The sun's rays are slowly creeping through Inuyasha's bedroom drapes and sneaking up into Kagome's eyes. Kagome slowly opened her slightly glazed over eyes. She looked around, finding herself in strange surroundings; she then remembered why she was Inuyasha's room.

<>Flashback<>

12:00am

Kagome woke up to the loud noise of the thunder and the bright light coming in her room from the lightning. "AAHHH!!!" she shrieked as yet another loud crash of thunder could be hear that sounded like it could be inside the house. . She looked down at Shippo and saw that was he is still fast asleep. She sighed happily that she hadn't woken him up. Kagome carefully got out of bed and walked slowly down the hall to were Yasha's bed- room is on the right side of the hall way. This is only about three doors down from Shippo's bedroom.

*Inuyasha's Bed Room*

She knocked on the door once and she hadn't gotten an answer, so she knocked again. This time, she heard a sound of someone moving in their bed trying to find a comfortable poison. This time Kagome didn't wait for Inuyasha to come to the door so she silently opened the door and saw a sight that made her breath stop. There, lying on the bed was Inuyasha, bare-chested.

The sheets were at his waist and Kagome saw a good view of his well-toned six-pack. She noticed that he was breathing very lightly and his ears moved in very direction. Her urge to pet his ears got the better of her again and she silently walked over to him. She knelt beside him and gently began rubbing his ears. Like before, she heard a rumbling noise coming from Inuyasha. She held back a giggles she kept rubbing his ear.

Although soon enough she started giggling and then, pare of amber eyes opened! Kagome stopped and looked at him, fearfully at what he'd say. Inuyasha had heard Kagome coming in, but didn't reply. He heard her opening the door and walking next to him. He felt her starting to rub his ear and the rumbling from his chest. He heard her giggling and that's when he opened his eyes. He saw the fear in her eyes and in her scent.

He felt bad about scaring her. "Kagome, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in bed?" he asked, startling Kagome. Kag sat there, speechless. She thought Yasha would be angry at her. But, he wasn't. "I awoke by the thunderstorm. She said. "You're afraid of thunderstorms?" H asked.

Kagome nodded her head. She didn't want Yasha to think of her as a scardy-cat. She then heard Yasha move. She looked up to see Yasha holding the sheet and comforter in his left hand.

"Come on. Get in."

Kagome smiled and climbed in. She situated herself and got comfortable. As she was about to drift to sleep, she yelped when she felt Yasha gently wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I'm not going to hurt you."

She relaxed and snuggled closer to Inuyasha. She fell asleep, not hearing the thunder.

Kagome blushed a deep crimson red. She looked over her left shoulder to see Inuyasha's peaceful sleeping face. He looked very kawaii, sleeping. As she moved, she felt Inuyasha tighten his grip on her. He pulled her closer to him and nuzzled her neck. He then growled. She stiffened a little, but relaxed.

She then felt something wet on her neck. She then knew he is licking her. She held back a moan. "Kagome…" she heard him call. "Inuyasha, wake up." Kag whispered. He didn't move, except snuggling closer to her. He nuzzled her neck again.

Kagome quickly moved so she could look at him. She saw his ears twitching and decided to rub them. As she rubbed them, she heard Yasha growl-purring. (CCCCUUUUTTTEEE!) She giggled and kept at it. When she looked at his face, her stormy blue eyes met amber. She stopped and removed her hand. Yasha whined. "Why'd you stop?"

Kag was surprised. She thought he didn't like ANYONE touch his ears." I'm sorry, Inuyasha. But that was the only way to wake you. I tried calling you, but you didn't respond." Yasha nodded, understanding. He knew Kagome didn't know he was a heavy sleeper.

That's ok, Kag." He then noticed that he held her rather close to himself. He blushed soft shade of red. Kagome saw him blush and wondered what he was blushing for. She then looked to see that he was holding her. She blushed as well. "Sorry." Yasha said, letting go. "Its ok, Yash." She said, getting up.

That was the first time Yasha got a good look at her.

DAMN she's hot! Yasha thought.

He watched as she looked around the room for something to cover herself up. As she walked into the sunlight, he got a really good look. There, standing in front of him, was a goddess! The sun beamed on her, making her glow with radiance. The sun beamed on her hair, making it glow like dark crystals glowing with the blue tints. Her skin, light and peachy, gave her a heavenly glow. Her nightgown, shimmering.

His breath is now caught in his chest as if he couldn't let out a single breath of air because of the beautiful goddess in front of him! His felt aroused by this beautiful creature. As soon as she found a robe, she closed it around herself. Yasha was disappointed. He then got up and looked for a shirt. It was now Kagome's time to drool. Yasha was bare-chested with only his red boxers. His skin was a slight pale tan color. Even for a vampire, he was so damn sexy. She looked at him. He was built, but not too built. He was just right. She blushed and looked away when she saw Yasha looking at her. Kagome then left to take a shower.

*Kagome's Room*

Kagome came walking out of the bathroom, with two towels. One for her hair and the other for her body. She noticed that Shippo wasn't where she left him. She noticed that her bed was made. She then got dressed.

She wore a white no-sleeve shirt that was tied in the middle with a bow. The cut was V-shaped that went pretty low, but not low enough to show her breasts. It was short enough to show her belly. She then wore short shorts that were blue. The shorts were blue jeans. She then wore white sandals. She fixed her hair in a tight ponytail and left to eat breakfast.

*Kitchen*

Kagome came walking in with Sango beating on Miroku. She felt sorry for him. Shippo was sitting next to Yasha, eating pancakes. Shippo looked up as soon as he smelt her. "KAGOME!!" he cheered, launching himself at her. She caught him.

"Morning, Shippo." She greeted. She then walked and sat next to Yasha. He was wearing a white t-shirt that clung to him, his usual leather pants and boots. "Morning, Kagome!" Sango replied. She got off of Miroku and sat next to her. Miroku got up and stood behind Kagome. "Good morning, Kagome." he said.

Kagome was about to reply when she felt a hand rubbing her butt. "HENTIA!!!" she slapped him. "PERVV!!" Yasha yelled as he punched him. Miroku got another few bumps from Sango and Shippo. After breakfast, Yasha told Kag to get everything that was hers cause he'd take her to school.

*Garage*

Yasha led Kagome to the garage where as they entered, lights came on. Kagome gasped; In front of her were rolls of motorcycles and cars. Yasha smirked at her expression. "Come on." he said, leading her to a particular cycle.

It was completely black with red, orange, and yellow flames on each side. Yasha got on and put on one of the two helmets that he had. It was designed the same as the bike. He then looked at Kag. He handed her the other. "Get on. I'll take you to school." He said. Kag came out of her trance and got on. She placed the helmet on her head and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Ready?" he asked. He felt her nodding and he started the engine, completely riding the cycle fast! Kagome shrieked a little and clung to him.

*Outside the School*

As they entered the school, everyone looked. All the girls had hearts in their eyes and the guys were jealous. Yasha parked the cycle and Kag got off. She then placed the helmet on one of the handle bars. "Thanks for the ride, Inuyasha." She smiled. "No problem." He smiled.

"KAGOME!!" shrieked a voice. "Oh, no!!" Kag groaned. Yasha looked at her. "What's wrong?" As she was about to reply, she felt herself being pulled away from Yasha by strong arms, encircling her. "Where have you been, Kag? I've been worried sick!" Hojo replied, hugging her. (EWWW!!!) "Him." She said, pointing to Hojo. "Did this punk harm you, my sweet?" "No, he didn't. Would you please let me go!!??" Kag said, irritated. Yasha growled. He didn't like the way this "Hobo" character was holding HIS Kagome.

What the… Since when is she mine? She was never mine to begin with. But why do I feel like tearing up every guy that touches her? It started ever since Kouga proclaimed Kagome as his. Could I be…in love with Kagome?He thought.(Well…. DUH! Inuyasha's very naïve. Isn't he?)

Hojo ignored her and kept on hugging her. "Hey, pal? ~Hojo looks at him~ Kagome told you to let go of her. DO IT!" "Why should I? After all, she IS my girlfriend!" Hojo said proudly. "No, I'm not!!" Kagome yelled, struggling to get out. That was it! Without another thought, Inuyasha grabbed Kagome and placed her behind him. Kagome was relieved, happy, and felt protected.

Here, in front of her, was a vampire who could go out in the daytime without getting burned. Even though she was the slayer and destined kill his kind, she felt loved and protected when he was with her. Like he was her guardian angel.

-So, what'cha think? It took me 5 pages to write this!!! Wow! Please R and R!! Ok, in the flashback, when Kagome's in Yasha's room, I changed the font so you know when the scene had changed for the flashback. This is the only time that'll happen, unless I do another flashback.

I just wanted to let you know! You might've been confused so I wanted to explain it to you.
