Just to remind you, (Thanks to Catty; Catherine!) vampires who are half human CAN be in the daylight without being burnt or dust, but they can still be harmed. Crosses, stakes, garlic, and holy water can harm them. It's the full-fledged vamps that CAN'T be in the daylight.

And I'm adding some new characters that are NOT mine! They belong to my very good friend, ZypherDragon. So, this chapter's for you, Zypher! Aqua and Blade are some of them!

Chapter 25

The Death of Naraku and Kikyo and new beginnings

*Inuyasha and the others*

"It was…Naraku." Shippo whispered. Inuyasha's boiled with fury and he let out a huge roar. "AAAAAAAARRRRRROOOOOOWWWW!!!!" He roared. Everyone was scared. He hadn't been this angry ever since Kagome was in danger. His eyes instantly turned red and purple streaks appeared on each cheek."I swear Naraku will pay for taking my pup! He'll pay with his life!" He thought. "Inuyasha?" Kagome asked shakily. He turned to his mate and hugged her.

She gladly hugged him back, sobbing. "Shh, my love. I promise we'll get Exotica back." Kagome looked at him and nodded. They then decided to get the others. Just then, the door flew open and there standing was…

"AQUA!?" everyone yelled. Aqua sniffed to see if Exotica were near, but he couldn't smell her. "Where is she?" he asked. Inuyasha growled. Kagome laid her hand on his shoulder. He stopped growling. "What are you doing here, wolf!?" Inuyasha said, trying to keep his anger in check. "I was watching Exotica from the shadows and I got side-tracked. There was a demon that wanted Exotica for himself. We fought and he limped off. When I checked Exotica, she was gone. I smelled her scent and another I'm not familiar with."

"We think it was Naraku." Kagome said. "NARAKU!!!!" Aqua yelled. Everyone was wondering why he acted like this. "Why are you angry?" Shippo asked. Aqua looked at Shippo and clenched his fists together. "He's the one who killed my mother." He explained. "And now, he wants to harm Exotica. I WON'T ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN!" He yelled. "I'm going with you!"

"Absolutely not!" Inuyasha said. "W-Why!?" Aqua said. "You're not part of this family, wolf. And I forbid you to see Exotica." He then went and phoned Sango and Miroku. They said they'd be right over.

*5 hours later*

Sango and Miroku arrived and the others talked on how to get Exotica back. Aqua listened carefully. They decided that Sango, Miroku, and Kiara would create a distraction while the others got in and rescued Exotica.

*Exotica*

Exotica were scared beyond. She was afraid because she learned as soon as she was brought here, that she was with Naraku and that he would use her as bait to get the others to come. She wished that Aqua were here with her. "Aqua, please hurry and save me! I miss you so much!" Shethought and broke down crying.

*Inuyasha*

The others were now ready to do battle with Naraku. They then went on their way. Aqua went with them, but into the shadows. "Hang on, Exotica. We're coming!" He thought. They then neared Naraku's castle.

*Naraku's Castle*

Naraku had Exotica by the leash and she whimpered. She had been beaten. She had dried blood and cuts all over her. "Naraku." Purred a voice. They both turned to see Kikyo walking towards them. She wore a short and tight black skirt and black shirt. Her hair was down. "Hello, mate." Naraku said and kissed her. Exotica looked away. Just then….

"NARAKU!!!!!" All three knew that voice. "Daddy/Inuyasha!" All three said. The door flew opened and there stood Inuyasha in his demon form with his pack behind him. All went wide eye at the display. Inuyasha growled. "You!!!! How could you do this, Kikyo!? You're mated with him!" "It was your fault, Inuyasha. You should have stayed with me then rather got to that bitch!" Kikyo said in a cool calm voice as she scooted over to Naraku more.

"Let my daughter go!" Inuyasha and Kagome yelled. Kikyo stood in front of them and drew her arrows. She aimed her arrow for Kagome. As she let it go, Kagome quickly drew hers and released it. Both flew towards each other and hit the other. It was a stalemate. As Kikyo released another, Inuyasha drew his sword and chopped it in half. "Never harm her!" Inuyasha yelled and ran at Kikyo. As he neared, he noticed that there was two puncture wounds in her neck.

She had been bitten. He quickly killed her and went after Naraku, but he saw this and blew everyone away. "You're pathetic!" Inuyasha tried to get up, but he was tired from killing all those undead demons. Everyone else was unconscious. "I'll never give up!" He said. Just as he stood, he fell. Naraku laughed menacingly at this display. "And now~ looks at Exotica as she whimpers and closes her eyes~ to get rid of you!"

As he brought his claws down….

"NO! NARAKU, DON'T YOU DARE HARM HER!" Came a male's voice. The next thing, claw marks were embedded in Naraku and he screamed out in pain.

*Exotica*

She felt herself be lifted into warm and protective arms. She tightly shut her eyes and clung to the person. She felt herself touch the ground and the person who held her, gently shook her. "Are you ok, Exotica?" Her eyes shot open. She knew that voice. "No! It can't be! Father told him he couldn't see me, but he's…he's here! He's REALLY here!" She thought. Her head shot up and her eyes stared into soft and warm crimson eyes. "AQUA!!!" She squealed joyfully as she hugged him.

It was Aqua! He was so glad to have Exotica in his arms that he gladly hugged her back. "Exotica." He sighed happily. The happy reunion was short-lived when they heard Naraku moving. Both pups turned to see Naraku staggering to get up. "You'll…never…defeat…me!" he growled. Aqua gently pushed Exotica behind him. As this happened, the others were awaking. Inuyasha awoke first.

He turned to see Kikyos' lifeless body on the ground. "She's finally dead and out of our lives. Like Kouga." He thought happily. Inuyasha then turned to see Kagome getting to her feet. She looked to the others and they were also getting up. All eyes turned to Naraku and the two pups. "What's Aqua doing here?" Inuyasha asked. "Kami! He saved her life!" Sango said. Everyone turned to her. "What do you mean?" Inuyasha asked.

"Before we fainted, I saw Aqua falling and slashed at Naraku before he could harm Exotica." Inuyasha turned too looked at Aqua. "He really does care for Exotica." He thought. He and the others got up and started to walk towards them.

*Aqua/Exotica*

As that was going on, Naraku advanced on the pups. Exotica were still behind Aqua, who was keeping her out of Naraku's sight. He had an evil smile plastered upon his face. He raised his sword. "Any last words, half-breed?" "Yeah. Three." "Oh, what would that be?" "Fuck you, asshole!" Aqua said. Naraku growled and as he brought his sword down, the pups tightly closed their eyes an awaited the pain, but never came. They both opened their eyes to see…

"DADDY!" Exotica yelled. He was standing protectively in front of the pups with his sword blocking Naraku's. "Don't you dare harm them!" Inuyasha yelled and few his sword up, along with Naraku's and he had an opening. He took it and sliced Naraku in half. Before dying, Naraku said these last words; "You haven't seen the last of me!" Then his body fell to the ground in two pieces with blood dripping everywhere. "Those are just empty words Naraku… You are finally dead and will never be able to harm Kagome or my pups ever again…." Inuyasha thought as he put his sword down.

Everyone cheered. Exotica ran to her father and jumped in his arms. "DADDY!" She squealed. He gladly hugged her back. Kagome and the others came around the father and daughter. Aqua watched from afar, not wanting to disturb them. He then silently stalked out. He made it to the wall and looked back. He smiled sadly. "Goodbye, Exotica. May we meet again in the future." Then his eyes closed and then a shimmering light surrounded him and Aqua vanished.

Exotica looked around for Aqua, but he wasn't there. "Aqua? AQUA!?" Inuyasha hoisted her in his arms and left to go home.

*Shrine; 15 years later*

Everyone threw a party for Exotica's birthday. She was a beautiful 16-year-old girl. Her hair was the same as her eyes. Her body matured into a young woman. She was now 16 and missed her friend Aqua, whom she fell in love with the day they met. Every night since his disappearance, she would find a red rose on her bed. Now it was her 16th birthday and like other birthdays, she celebrated like it was another day.

She wasn't happy. When she was 1 years old and that time at Naraku's castle, she had finally seen Aqua and now he was gone again. As the party went on, Exotica were unhappy and everyone saw this. Just then the doorbell rang. Sakura went to answer it. She smiled warmly and allowed whomever it was in. She and the mysterious person walked in. Everyone turned to see who it was. Everyone gasped.

Exotica caught a familiar scent. It was more enticing and older. Her gray and amber eyes turned to look into soft and warm crimson eyes. Her breath was caught. There standing was a young boy whose black hair with gold tints was the same. He wore a red shirt with a golden dragon on it. He wore black jeans. His eyes were the same. He was holding a present. "Aqua!" Exotica whispered. He smiled warmly at her. "Hello, Exotica."

She ran out of her seat and ran to him. He had barely enough time to put his present down and hug Exotica. She came crashing into him and they fell on the carpet. "AQUA!!!!" She cried happily to be reunited with her friend. "Shh, Exotica. Calm down." He whispered soothingly. She looked at him and hugged him tightly. "How'd you get here?" Exotica asked as soon as they got off the carpet and sat down.

"Sakura saw me one day and she knew I missed you. ~He gently caresses her cheek in his hand~ she thought since your birthday was coming up, that I'd surprise you and here I am." Exotica got up and hugged her grandmother and sat back down. The rest of the party was fun with Aqua here. Inuyasha, Mistof, and he became friends, even though Mistof still didn't trust him. When Kagome asked where he was staying. He told them that he got a really awesome condo and that he was working.

As the party came to a close, Exotica opened her presents. She got a sword from her father that had his family crest on the blade. It was a pink handle with gold vines circling around it. She got blue bow and arrows from her mother. She got a battle outfit from Sango. Like her exterminator outfit, only it was blue. She got a dagger from Miroku. She got a blue stone with a red rose in carved on it from Shippo. She got some medicine and books on herbs from Kaeda. She got flowers from Rin.

She got a hairpin from both brothers. And lastly, it was Aqua's present. It was wrapped up in sparkly blue wrapping and a red bow. She carefully opened it. As soon as the wrapping was gone, she held a small black box. She looked at Aqua to see if it was all right. He nodded and she opened it. What was inside made her gasp there was a gold necklace with a red heart and crystals encircling it. She looked at him and hugged him. Before she could, he took the box and the necklace out. He then placed it around her neck.

After that, she hugged him dearly. "Thank you. All of you, THIS has been the best birthday I've ever had." Everyone nodded and the birthday was over. They all helped clean up. Before you knew it, the house was clean. Everyone then began leaving. Aqua was the last to leave. Exotica walked with him. As Aqua opened the door and stepped out, a hand placed itself on his arm. He turned to see Exotica looking at him. "Will. Will I ever see you again, Aqua?" Her voice held hope. He smiled and took her face in his hands. He then brought his face to hers and gave her a gentle kiss.

Exotica was a little shocked, but responded. It was a few minutes until they had to break apart for air. Aqua laid his forehead on hers. "Does that answer your question?" Exotica nodded and Aqua smiled. He then kissed her again and became the shadows. Exotica opened her eyes and saw that Aqua was gone. She leaned on the door and sighed happily. "I'm sure we'll meet again, my love." Then she closed the door. Not far away, two pair of eyes watched her. One held love and the other, anger and fury.
