Chapter 7

 

 

 

 

When she woke up, Rin was warm and so content that if she were a cat she would be purring. She was lying on her side with Sesshomaru behind her, cradling her in his strong arms. As she snuggled deeper into her mate's embrace she came across two things. One, he was still inside her and aroused, two she could see her mating mark on his arm. It was just at the top of his forearm where it meets with the elbow.

 

She smirked as she remembered how the mark got there.

As soon as their lips made contact on that second kiss both of them knew they were goners. Sesshomaru couldn't help but groan as his senses were assailed with Rin's richly potent taste. He was sure that he had died and reached heaven. As one kiss turned into a dozen, Rin became sexually intoxicated with the feverish frenzy of mating season driving her hard and the euphoric sensation caused by the knowledge that she will be forever loved made her greedy.

 

As the kisses became fiercer Sesshomaru had shifted their positions flipping her on her back on the bed making her giggle before he descended on her, locking her small soft hands over her head into one of his larger ones.

 

In this position Rin felt both cherished and bent to the will of the man on top of her. For some reason this position made her youki rise. Her youkai blood didn't want to submit to the will of the male on top of her. The need to take control became even more prominent when Sesshomaru started trailing small kisses from her chin to her neck, grazing the column of her neck with his fangs in a prelude of the mark that was going to bestow upon her.

 

“Sesshomaru, let me touch you,” Rin said somewhere between a scream and whimper when Sesshomaru licked at her pebbled nipple.

 

“No,” he growled around her nipple making her buck and scream in pleasure and making her fight his grip harder. “Do not fight this Rin, you will be My mate and you will do as I say now submit,” he said looking into her stormy deep red brownish eyes with his completely red ones.

 

Once Rin saw his eyes were red she or her youkai didn't think twice, she submitted, by craning her head to the side exposing her neck as much as she could and that's when he let her hand loose and everything inside her sprang free.

 

The minute that her hands were free she pounced at him, trying to force her own dominance on her male by controlling the kiss. But it didn't last long that Sesshomaru banged her back down on the bed and took control of her mouth. Rin didn't want to let go but when she felt his clawed fingers on her clit she screamed in ecstasy, pleading him for more, wanting him inside of her NOW. Her skin was too hot, her lungs to small. But still he kept his touch light, barely fluttering around her oversensitive nub.

 

“Please Sesshomaru.” He didn't answer her as he trailed kisses down her stomach playing with her belly button until she practically sobbed. He could feel her desire for him in how wet she was and in the way her aroused scent filled every once of space in the master chambers.

 

Once he got to her core, he blew a stream of warm air on her scorching wet hot silken flesh making her jump and scream making him smirk and realise that he could never tire of hearing her scream in ecstasy.

 

When he stopped his attention to her clit she was sure she was going to die. But then she felt him lick her from her sheath all the way to her clit making her scream his name again and once more when he put pressure on her clit, licking it roughly with the flat of his tongue.

 

When he was sure that she was in complete delirium of pleasure Sesshomaru took two fingers and entered her sheath slowly making her buck and moan and pant louder. He could feel she was close and with every inch that his fingers gained. When his claws reached her barrier he cut it not even getting a pained reacting from her and after three more strokes of his tongue and the withdrawal of his fingers she came hard.

 

Not letting her time to come down from her climax, Sesshomaru flipped her over on her hands and knees and swiftly entered her, making her climax a second time, as he started pounding into her.

 

She was sure how many times she came but she did remember that the last time that night before she came her gaze was snared by the skin on his forearm, the meaty part just under the elbow. The more she stared at the more her mouth watered and she could feel her canines lengthening. Not being able to hold the urge, she bit down on and as the of his blood flowed through her she felt him come insider and bite at the junction where her neck met her shoulder making her come harder then all the other times before. Her climax came so fast that Rin blacked out. But she remembered him whisper those three little words in her ear.

Sesshomaru was thinking on the same lines as his new mate when he sensed that she awakened. Not being able to stop himself he started a slow smooth rhythm inside his mate making her gasp but stayed relaxed. Not long after since mating season still held them in its grasp they came only letting out soft sighs.

 

Something Sesshomaru didn't detect the night before came to his attention when his mate turned over and laid her head on his shoulder scooting towards him as he turned on his back. She was pupped. It surprised him that on the first try it would happen but that made him happy because it meant that his mate was very fertile. He always envisioned that he would have a large pack.

 

“What are you think about my Lord?”

 

“Rin from now on you will address this Sesshomaru by my given name. This Sesshomaru is not your lord anymore. We are now mates, equals in standing and life,” he said playing with her hair with the hand that was behind her back. “As to what this Sesshomaru was thinking he was thinking of how many pups it would take to fill every unoccupied bedchamber in the castle,” he finished idly.

 

“Every unoccupied bedchamber in the castle Sesshomaru, but some of those rooms could have two maybe three grown adult living comfortable in them?” Rin asked stunned as Sesshomaru propped himself on his side facing her as she slid on her back.

 

“Rin, the reason why this Sesshomaru is telling you this is because you are with pup,” he said placing her hand on her flat tummy covering it with his own.

 

“Pup?” She said attentively wrapping her mind around the fact that she was pregnant. Her face was a mask of shock but Sesshomaru was relying on her scent more then her facial expressions. The last one pleased him because it was complete and total joy.

 

“I'm with pup?” She asked with a huge grin on her face and her eyes shinning and Sesshomaru nodded. “Oh my God, I have to tell kagome and Sango and Ayame to!” She said jumping off the bed and got dressed in the yukata she came in with while doing a little dance and left the room practically unhinging the door. Making Sesshomaru, for the first time, give a full bellied laugh and guess who came in the bedchambers at that particular moment? None other then our neighbourhood toad youkai Jaken and instead of screaming bloody murder and running away he screamed bloody murder and fainted on the spot making Sesshomaru chuckle a little more before going around his castle and see if they could resume the counsil.

 

Meanwhile:

 

“KAGOME!” said Rin bursting into her nanny's bedchamber which made the still sleeping mates jump up on the bed. Well Kagome landed on the bed but Inuyasha missed it by a few centimetres making the woman laugh as he cursed a blue streak.

 

“What is it Rin,” said Kagome still giggling as she got out of bed leading the way to the little living space where they both sat on the same sofa. Well Rin was bouncing while Kagome was sitting calmly waiting for what her ward had to say.

 

“I'm with PUP!” She said before being tackled by Kagome with a fierce hug. “Kagome...shocking...not...breathing.

 

“Oops!” Kagome said putting her at arms length to examine her critically. “But I can't sense anything?”

 

“Oi wench, it's too early to tell for humans or even mikos. Youkai can know the minute that the woman is pupped. So yeah, she is and she reeks of Sesshomaru,” said Inuyasha scrunching up his nose avoid the smell.

 

“Don't call me a wench, baka,” Kagome shot him a glare but quickly returned to Rin making a shooing motion to her mate to make him leave. Which he did muttering something about bitches and being pupped.

 

“So, when did this happen?” Kagome asked sitting back down beside Rin.

 

“Last night, I don't know why I broke, just that I woke up way too much aroused and I ran into Sesshomaru's room to confront him and well…yeah.”

 

“Awww, that's so cute, but no wonder you were in such a state, it was the full moon! In mating season the full moon is where the youkai is stronger and during mating season the full moon makes them way lustier then they were at the beginning. But what's good though is that the full moon also means that mating season is starting to wind down… at least for normal youkai it is,” said Kagome with a sly smile.

 

“What do you mean?”

 

“I didn't teach you this? Hmm, weird I could have sworn. But anyway, yeah, for normal youkai mating season is hard core at the beginning and winds down the day after the full moon but for taiyoukai like Sesshomaru… it's hard core at first major after and it finishes hard core, so, honey, you're not done,” said Kagome laughing at Rin's surprised face.

 

“You mean, theirs more?”

 

“Oh yes, if all of what Miroku told me to be true then yes you are in for a LOT of loving. By the end of the month you'll be begging to sleep in your own chambers for a week.”

 

“It can't be that bad, can it?”

 

“Who know? Ask Lady Samira, she's mated to a taiyoukai too. But wait until you cross her outside her bedchambers. You never know what you'll find on the other side in this time of the year.”

 

“All right, so do you think Sango is occupied right now? I really want to tell her the good new,” said Rin getting up.

 

“No I don't think so, since her and Miroku don't have any youkai blood then she should be somewhere around here,” said Kagome while seeing Rin to the door and then going on to her morning routine.

 

 

As she got out of the room she was slammed into a hard body. Thinking the worst she start struggling but immediately stopped when she recognised the scent of her mate.

 

“This Sesshomaru needs you my mate,” he growled into her neck sucking the exposed mark. Not a moment later Sesshomaru wisked her off and no one saw her for the rest of the month.

 

(AN: This sounds like a chapter ending doesn't it? Don't worry it's not over yet a lot of things still need to happen before this chapter ends.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As they arrived at the castle Shippo was both nervous and excited to be seeing his family after a month of being away from them. He missed his nieces and nephews. (yep, Kagome, Inuyasha and Shippo thought that it would be a little weird for the kids to have a brother at least twice the age of the eldest one so they decided for Shippo to be their uncle but he was still their boy.) Of course he couldn't wait to see his parents and Sango and Miroku, Ayame and Rin. Kouga and Sesshomaru was negotiable since one was down right scary and the other was just, too him, a dumb jerk for how he acted over the years before finally realising that he soul mate was Ayame.

 

Looking at Aimi who was next to him he could sense that she was a little scared since she was going to meet the land's most feared taiyoukai. But she was also anxious to meet Shippo's adopted family. From what he told her they were a colourful bunch. But she was happy since she found her soul mate and was now both mated and was carrying his kit.

 

As they approached the gates they could see that mating season had run its course and that now everything was back to normal. When the guards at the gate saw Shippo they immediately opened the gates to let them in. Some of them greeted him and asked about how he was and gave their best wishes for the new couple but most of them just ignored them.

 

When they entered the great hall Shippo took ten steps in and stopped, pushing Aimi aside a little.

 

“What's going on?”

 

“Wait for it,” he said softly getting into a baseball catcher's pose and waited.

 

“For wha….” And then it came.

 

“UNCLE SHIPPO,” said an army load of kids racing down the corner and sprinted in the great hall to dog pull her mate.

 

“Them,” wheezed out Shippo as he tried to greet them all and at the same time get them off him. But it was a little difficult seeing that they just came back. It was like handling and handful of wiggly worms.

 

“Oh,” said Aimi giggling behind her hand trying to show support towards Shippo.

 

“Ok kids, everybody off uncle Shippo,” said Kagome waddling over to them her eyes lighting up when she finally saw her oldest son. “How have you been Shippo?” She asked while they hugged.

 

“Great, mom I'd like for you to meet my mate Aimi,” said Shippo nestling his mate to his side.

 

“MATE! Oh Shippo I'm so happy for you. (cue the waterworks) And she's just adorable,” said Kagome surprising the new mates by throwing her arms around her new daughter-in-law and giving her a big hug. “Welcome to the family Aimi,” she said letting her go wiping her tears with a hanky.

 

“What's going on? Kagome, why are you crying?” Inuyasha asked coming into the great hall by the front door behind the new mates. “Oh hey Shippo, wow, you found your mate! Good for you,” said Inuyasha going to see his mate and comfort her and the kids all circled and jumped around them trying to get attention from at least someone.

 

“Yeah dad I want you to meet my mate Aimi,” said Shippo taking his mate back snuggled at his side.

 

“With a new kit to boot to? You work fast don't you,” said Inuyasha making Aimi blush but Shippo just smirked.

 

“As I recall when you and mom got mated you made sure that she was using that pill thingy so that she didn't have your pup before you killed Naraku. But then it took a while before you got the guts to ask her to stop taking those things and that's why you're not up to ten pups by now,” said Shippo leaving his father to imitate a fish.

 

“Not bad Shippo, I couldn't have done better myself,” said Miroku as he and Sango came in wearing their normal every day kimono and robes.

 

“You know, maybe it was a bad idea to let the squirt stay with him when we would go in your time koi,” grumble Inuyasha while everybody laughed but Aimi was a little confused.

 

“You may be right Inu but that would have meant that we'd have to bring him along with us every time that we went back to my time.”

 

“Fuck that, I would rather have a mildly perverted kitsune then having him with us all the time. No offence runt but it would have been way too much bonding time.”

 

“I completely understand dad, so mom, how are the cravings?”

 

“Just perfect, speaking of which, Inu I'm a little hungry do you think you could get me a peanut butter sandwich?”

 

“Sure thing koi,” he said leaving before she asked for anything else to go with it hoping against hope that it's not like last time.

 

“Oh don't forget the thinly shopped carrots in there too ok?”

 

“Of course koi,” said Inuyasha now running to the kitchen.

 

“What's peanut butter?” Aimi asked Shippo in a whisper.

 

“It peanuts that were grounded into a paste where they added sugar and a few other things, to humans it smells fine but to youkai it smells really bad,” said Shippo whispering back. “Let's go before he comes back with the stuff,” whispered Shippo excusing them so that he could give his mate a grand tour of the castle and see if he could bump into the others.

In another part of the castle Rin was lying in bed with her mate. Please let him be asleep, she thought as she turned over as gently as possible and looked at Sesshomaru's face for any sign of being conscious. But no he looked like he was dead to the world.

 

Could you blame him? He's been completely stuck on mating season mode that in the end I was sure if it was only his youki that was keeping him awake. Poor guy, thought Rin lovingly, but then screwed in her resolve and climbed out of bed as quickly but stealthily as possible so he wouldn't wake and jump her again. She was tired and atrociously sore, it wasn't even the pleasant soreness that came after a night of love making. She felt raw all over and she was sure that her nether regions were swollen shut tight. She grimaced at the thought that there was going to be a round “x” when he woke up again and she didn't want to be there when it happened.

 

To her, mating season was practically over and now she just wanted to sleep for a month. At one point when her mate whisked her away to their chambers she got the chance to escape for a little while and Kagome got the chance to tell her that since she was going to have a baby of youkai blood that Rin would start feeling very tired very quickly even in the very early stages of her pregnancy.

 

So Rin got out of the room and silently walked to her old room where she put up some very powerful charms so that Sesshomaru or Jaken couldn't get in from anywhere and then she collapsed on the bed and slept deeply.

 

When she finally woke up it was to total muscle pain from everywhere. Places on her body that she didn't know she had muscles hurt like hell. She was so sore she could barely move and then a loud banging came from the door.

 

“Go away,” she said burrowing herself tighter in her covers and worked on going back to sleep.

 

“Rin open this door immediately,” said the low growling voice of her infuriated mate.

 

“Leave me alone Sesshomaru, I'm tired, I'm sore and I don't want to see anyone right now. I need to sleep,” she said to last part almost in tears.

 

“You belong with me Rin, in our bed, open the door Rin.”

 

“No”

 

“Rin,” he said in his imperial voice that no one could refuse.

 

“Please Sesshomaru give me some time, I need to be alone,” she said now sobbing.

 

“Rin,” he said now his voice laced with a pleading tone as his eyes became anguished by his mate's sobs.

 

“Sesshomaru, maybe it's best if you let her be for a while. At least until she heals,” said Kagome calmly with Samira beside her.

 

“This Sesshomaru will not leave without his mate,” he said icily.

 

“Lord Sesshomaru if I may, I went through exactly the same thing as lady Rin. When I spent my first mating season with my mate I needed to seclude myself for a few days afterward. Rin is with pup is she not?” When everyone nodded she continued. “Then she is feeling very exhausted at the moment and surely she is in a great amount of pain from her first mating season to a taiyoukai. Let lady Kagome and I help her heal and get better before she comes back to you.” When she saw that he was going to refuse she went for the kill. “Do not worry my lord, when she comes back it will be because she misses you and the comfort you give her.”

 

“Very well then, take care of her,” he said before turning a leaving.

 

When the women tried the doorknob they found that they could open the door and even enter it which surprised them a lot. When their eyes adjusted to the darkened room they saw Rin on her bed dead to the world and curled up in all her blankets.

 

“She must be in terrible pain,” whispered Kagome.

 

“That she is my dear that she is. Do you know of any remedy that will help her heal faster?”

 

“Yes, since she is a flower youkai and plants make her heal faster I have an idea on how to make her sleep more peacefully,” said Kagome as she stuck her head out and called out for one of the numerous servants and as if by magic a male water youkai popped out of nowhere.

 

“How may I be of service my lady?”

 

“Please would you bring up a bath for lady Rin?”

 

“Of course my lady,” said the water youkai his eyes widening since it was one of the rare times that Rin was in need of anything from the servants. Usually she did it herself because she thought that the servants had enough to do on their own. So he rushed to the end of the hall and got out a large wooden tub and brought it to the room. Since water was his element he conjured up steaming water in the tub before he left.

 

“Now I just need to add a few plants and you can put her in the tub,” said Kagome as she waddled to the table where Rin kept her daily plant based creams, ointments and oils that Rin used for her bath. As Kagome looked through the choices of bath oils she found some of the plant based bath bombs, soap and beads that she would bring her each time that she came back from the future. So she took a bath bomb and some fresh cut flower and put them in the steaming water. Almost immediately the scent of lavender hit their noses.

 

When Kagome told her that it was time to put Rin into the bath, Samira gently lifter her off the bed after disrobing her and smoothly put her in the tub without the young woman even noticing what was going on.

 

Once she was sure that Rin's head wasn't going to go underwater Samira went to get two club chairs from the seating aria and Kagome sighed gratefully when she sat down still keeping a close eye on Rin.

 

“Poor Rin, is she ever going to be able to go through mating season without ending up like this?” Kagome asked.

 

“Yes of course but not as fast as I could though. The way it was for me is that the first one was very painful in then end since I was human and my mate's youkai blood wasn't fully established by that time. But I healed really fast afterwards. It only took me two days to completely heal and have enough energy to miss my mate's closeness. Since Rin was already hanyou when lord Sesshomaru marked her then it will mean that his blood and her blood will take more time to mix and find balance before Sesshomaru's abitlity to heal becomes her own. But in a way it's also a blessing that Rin's ability to heal by plants is so effective. It means that they'll be able to enjoy that hot spring that he keeps hidden in his bedchambers,” said Samira giggling at Kagome stunned face.

 

“Have you been talking with Miroku recently?”

 

“Dear I'm mated with a taiyoukai. Where do you think I've been for the past few days?” She asked with one eyebrow raised delicately.

 

“Oh right, I forgot that part.”

 

“So when are you do?”

 

“Three months, I can't wait to see my toes again.”

 

“Oh I know how that feels, I threatened my mate that if I was with kitten again this season I wasn't going to share his bed or his company until the kitten was born.”

 

“Did it work?”

 

“Of course, as you can see, mating season has finished and I am not with kitten.”

 

“You're good, you're very good. I wonder if that trick would work on Inuyasha,” said Kagome pensively making Samira laugh.

 

“I'm not sure if your mate is patient enough.”

 

“Oh so true, Inuyasha is somewhat impatient on his best days. I think Rin is ready to be taken out now,” said Samira as she looked at the young woman that looked comfortable now in her sleep.

 

“Yeah, said Kagome with a soft smile. Let me just put a towel on her bed so that we can dry her off without getting the sheets wet.

 

Once they got her dried and redressed in a fresh yukata they left happy with a job well done. It didn't surprise them that not long after they left the room that Sesshomaru came and found them.

 

“How is she?” He asked not even bothering to hide his worry which touched the two women.

 

“She'll be fine, said Kagome soothingly; she just needs time for the swelling to come down and her muscles to relax. But she should be better by tomorrow, right now she needs rest for the plants that we bathed her in to work and for your blood and hers to find a balance before your healing abilities become her own.”

 

“And let us not forget that she is with pup now and it requires a lot of energy from the female to carry a youkai child. Especially if the woman is human or hanyou, but I must congratulate you on the pregnancy my lord.”

 

“Thank you lady Samira for your words and help toward my Rin, but this Sesshomaru must ask. How did you get into her chambers?”

 

“I have a feeling my lord that our lady Rin is more powerful then we thought. She was able, in her painful disposition, to cast charms on her chambers that blocked only you and probably your vassal Jaken to cross the thresholds to her chambers.”

 

“Yes Rin has gotten powerful since she has received the youki and we haven't done any readings on sakura blossom youkais either. We do know though that our Rin as been hanging out in the study a lot, maybe studying certain spell and charm scrolls?”

 

“Be that as it may, I am relieved that she is doing well,” said Sesshomaru leaving the women to have a word with his scroll keeper. He was the one that read every one of the scrolls before they came through the door.

 

 

When Sesshomaru entered the scroll keeper's hut it looked small but homey. The scroll keeper was an old man that looked a lot like Totosai but didn't act like an idiot when it suited him. Shiro was an ancient earth dragon youkai. To everyone in and around the castle he knew all there was to know about the world.

 

“Master Shiro, I have come for information,” said Sesshomaru sitting down on a seat cushion facing the ancient youkai.

 

“Ahh lord Sesshomaru, what a pleasant surprise. How may I help you this day,” said a deep strong voice that sounded like you were surrounded by all sides.

 

“I need to know about the youki that was put into Rin.”

 

“Ah yes, the flower youkai, very peaceful creature, but when crossed it can be very deadly. You see sakura blossom youkai hide their power without knowing it. It's the mind's way to protect its self. Some Sakura blossom youkai go on with their lives not even knowing that they had a large amount of potential to be a very powerful youkai.”

 

“How does that affect Rin?”

 

“It affects the girl a lot actually. Since she wasn't born a Sakura blossom hanyou but instead given the full youki of a youkai then it means that she is a hanyou with youkai abilities.”

 

“This Sesshomaru wonders if Rin knows this fact about herself.”

 

“That my lord she does. Smart girl that one. As soon as she was fully recovered she came to see me so that I can give her all the scrolls that involved the youkai from which her youki came from. Once she finished those she asked for charm scrolls. Of course at first I gave her the ones for beginners so she wouldn't hurt herself and I only let her read them and performed the charms when she was here with me. She was a natural my lord. Soon she learned attacks spells, counter-attack spells, truth charms, and a lot more of them.”

 

“Why would she not share the new of her new abilities with others or even with this Sesshomaru?” Sesshomaru wasn't mad; he was disappointed that his Rin wouldn't confide that tremendous news. He was glad she could take care of herself and that she had her own set of abilities.

 

“Lady Rin might be all cheery and bubbly and forward with her thoughts all the time but she is also shy when it comes to herself and her abilities. Since she was with you from a young age and that you brought her up thinking that humans are weeks fools and hanyou are an abomination she thought that if she let you see that she was more powerful then a human then you would send her away for the fact that she is putting in the light the fact that she was now hanyou.”

 

“I see”

 

“Of course now she doesn't think that way, now she sees the fact that no one knows as a battle tactic which I find very clever since she was able to fool even you lord Sesshomaru.”

 

“That she has this Sesshomaru wonders if she knows how my blood will increase her powers.”

 

“That Sesshomaru, I assure that she does not know about that fact. Surely she knows about the mating ritual and the fact that will gain a few things but not that it will increase her powers. You might want to give her a hint that she should come and see me to make sure that her powers stay stable.”

 

“This Sesshomaru does not give hints,” he said getting up.

 

“Well then tell her that you know and send to me then,” said Shiro before Sesshomaru left to oversee the castle since his mate was unable to.

 

 

 

 

AN: Ok people this is it, the end of the chapter. I don't want to write more then this because then I don't think I'm going to make any sense at some point. Anyway, stay tune to finally know the tricks up Rin's sleeves. Laters!
