Inuyasha woke up to a warm feeling of Kagome's head resting on his chest as she slept. Inuyasha looked around the infirmary trying to remember what had happened to him.
"Dude, you got saved by a girl." Inuyasha's gaze fixed on the bed across from his where Hannibal King was sitting in his bed eating a sandwich.
"Keh. Kagome's a lot stronger than you humans." Kagome's ear flicked at the sound of his voice and she suddenly sat up, and tackled him.
"Inuyasha! You're alright!" Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck as she pinned him to the bed.
"Oh, get a room!" King yelled from where he was sitting.
Kagome turned to him, thoroughly pissed off. "Moment killer." She got up slowly off of the bed and moved to sit back down on the chair next to it.
"Wait." Inuyasha grabbed Kagome and jumped off of the bed, pinning her down to it, all in one fluid motion. Holding her wrists at her sides Inuyasha moved his nose to her abdomen and sniffed.
"Inuyasha, that tickles." Kagome said trying to hold back a giggle.
Inuyasha's eyes grew wide and he let the girl go as he dropped to his knees.
"Inuyasha? Inuyasha, what's wrong?" Kagome hopped off the bed and knelt down next to Inuyasha and tried to look him in the eye.
"He...he...he...he." Inuyasha laughed slowly, in his shock as his eyes moved up to meet hers.
"Inuyasha what's wrong?" Kagome grabbed one of his hands.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Inuyasha's look softened and he laughed, this time in joy.
"Inuyasha, what are you talking about?" The concern showed in the young woman's voice.
"Kagome, I need you to lie down on the bed for a second." Kagome did as she was told then looked at Inuyasha with confused eyes as he put his ear to her abdomen and chuckled to himself. "No more hunts for you, Kagome."
"Inuyasha, I still don't know what you're talking about."
"Kagome, you're pregnant."
The girls eyes widened. "B-but that's impossible..."
"I'm listening to it's heartbeat right now." Inuyasha's smile grew wider.
"Oh, Inuyasha." Kagome grabbed him and pulled his lips down on her own into a passionate kiss.
King sighed. "Another classic Kodak moment," he said as he pulled a camera off of his desk and snapped a picture.
Kagome pushed Inuyasha off of her only long enough to breath and say, "Moment Killer..."
