Chapter 16~Surprise!

~~~No one had explained everything that was happening. But Kyoto had sensed it, read it in thier minds, just as Kouga's female pup had the sight of touching minds as she did herself, this was rare and very powerfull, for you could tell your oppenents moves before they even did them, as well as implant images in thier heads to confusse them. She would love to meet Kouga's little girl, but righ now it was important to fight this Naraku person or being. From the thoughts and emotions she was reading from the group, she pretty much gathered what the being called Naraku was like, he was evil incarnite and everything unhappy. She couldnt really express what she felt when she saw the minds of her mate and companions, but, the majority she could only expalin as hate, fear and vengence. Duty to do what it took to see who ever this thing was destroyed. And if her Monk thought the same way then it must be soo and she would do what ever it took to defeat him.

~~~Sango lay in the grass with her kimono torn to shreds. This was getting ridiculous. If she and Sesshomau kept this up she wouldnt have any clothes left. How did this keep happening she thought? One minute she was angry at the dog demon lord and they were arguing, then fighting then they were going at it like a couple of animals in heat. How did he do this to her? How could she allow it? It was confussing and scary, but she had to admit, that she hadnt felt soo alive in a long time. Sesshomaru didnt only challenge her mentally and physically, but in passion as well. Passion Sango never knew she had possessed till she had mated with the dog demon. This was truelly frustrating.

"How do you do this to me Demon?" she asked breathlessly, hearing Sesshomaru laying next to her also breathing rapidly, his nice royal outfit had not come out of thier battle without any damage, but a torn sleeve and a rip on the chest was noting compared to her shredded kimono.

"Must I need exlain the act of mating to you wench?" came Sesshomaru's cool but ragged answer. Sango glared at him, and he narrowed his eyes back at her.

"Stop calling me wench!...And NO..you need not explain mating acts to me..what I meant is why do we always end up here? Like this?? Why can you not control your lust Demon?" She asked angerly, trying to pull the last shredds of her kimono together but to no avail, it was hopeless.

"So I am the only one who can not control their lust??? If I recall, it was you who first tore my garment." Sesshomaru replied with a low growl, then with a very rare smirk. Again Sango glared at him.

"Dont you dare Dog Demon...now...you must go to the camp and fetch me my bag so that I can get my extra Kimono." she stated, in a tone that brooked no argument. Sesshomaru growled and sat up.

"You dare to demand that I fetch something?? Who do you think you are WENCH!" Sesshomaru said angerly.

"I am your mate DOG...and if you do not go then I will go myself, but I dont think you would like it if I parade among my friends, and Kouga naked, now will you??" She challenged. Sesshomaru growled fiercly and narrowed his eyes at her, but did not say another word. Instead he speed off toward the camp to fetch his mates things. It bothered him to no end to be doing this for the female, but she was right, his honor and instincts of her mate would never allow her to go before other males naked. He would have to kill any males who set an eye upon her naked form, a form only he was allowed to see.

~~~Back at the camp, everyone watched at Sesshomaru came in and snarled at them as they saw him sniff out Sango's bag, then take it with him. Inuyasha began to laugh hysterically. And Kagome bit her lip again to keep herself from laughing as well. Poor Sango, at this rate she wouldnt have any more clothes to wear, and niether would she if Inuyasha kept on shredded her undergarments. She took that change to cast a glare at Inuyasha.

"What the hell was that look for Wench?" Inuyasha growled, carefull not to call her bitch, since he now knew how much it bothered her. Carefull so that only he saw, Kagome pulled out her torn panties out of her pocket before she stuffed them in her bag. Inuyasha seemed to blush, getting her meaning, then turned his nose to her with his arms in his sleeves as he Fehed!

"What do you think is bothering those two?" Miroku asked, watching Kagome and Inuyasha giving each other glares. One minute Inuyasha was laughing as Sesshomaru and Kagome was grinning then all of a sudden they were looking at each other with daggers. He sighed. Would some things never change?

"I will tell you later my mate." Kyoto whispered huskily as she took that moment to lap at his ear, earning a moan of pleasure of Miroku. Both Kouga and Inuyasha shot him a look.

"What??" he asked in Confussion.

"We can smell you both now cut it out....give it rest.." replied Inuyasha angerly as he walked off into the woods.

"What does that mean?" Miroku asked more to himself, but Kouga took it upon himself to answer.

"Yo Monk..when you moan like that your arousal fills the air and it isnt pleasant for some of us who cant actually do anything about it..got it?" Kouga replied with a low growl.

"Ohh..ooh sorry." Miroku replied with a blush. Kyoto grinned and took another nip from his ear. Instead Miroku bit back his moan and gently pushed Kyoto away.

"Now now my enchantress..there will be time for that later." he added with a knowing smile. Kouga just growled and went to the woods himself.

~~~Once everyone was back in camp they sat around a bit awkwardly. Sango had a major blush on her face and didnt want to look anyone in the eyes, knowing they knew what she and Sesshomaru had done. Sesshomaru just stood by a tree looking bored as usual. As for Inuyasha and Kouga they looked a bit put out and glared at Kyoto and Miroku everytime they heard a giggle or a whispered endearment from the couple. Kagome just looked around trying to figure out what to say. Luckily or not soo luckily something came out just then and things became tense and no longer awkward.

"Soo wolf boy..you thought to set a trap for me?" came Naraku's voice from above the trees. Everyone jumped up in alarm and got into thier battle stances.

"Come out you bastard?" Inuyasha replied.

"Do you think me stupid enough to come here in person??.." Naraku replied with that wicked cackle of his.

"Where are my pups you freak of nature!!??" Kouga yelled, jumping up and getting ready to spring towards the tree line.

"Be still wolf...you would risk your life and waste time in battling someting that is not really here?" Came Sesshomarus cold cool calm voice as he stood before Naraku's puppet and his mate.

"Ahhh soo Lord Sesshomaru you have abandoned your quest and have chosen to align yourself with your half breed brother and his companions?" Naraku taunted. Sesshomaru growled a warning.

"You know that is not the case so why bother asking...I am sure you already know what has occured." Sesshomaru replied cooly.

"Yes..although it is intigueing your mating habits or status is now why I am here...I am here to collect what are rightfully mine..the shards." Naraku replied looking at Kouga.

"You can have the fuckin shard for all I give a damn but not till I see my pups and have them with me..then I will give them to you you bastard and I swear if you harm one hair on them I will hunt you down and tear you limb from limb." Kouga growled back.

"They are not your fucking shards NARAKU!" Inuyasha added with his own growl. Kouga looked at Inuyasha giving him a deadly glare.

"Stay out of this Dog Turd..these are MY pups." he warned. When Inuyasha would of replied, Kagome put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a look that told him he was right. This was something Kouga had to do and they had not right to interfere.

"Good..I will come to you in a few days wolf..meet me at the foot of your mountain...I will bring your pups to you then and take the shards..if you try anything or if anyone interferes your pups will pay the price." Naraku warned as he laughed again and vanished in a mist of lavender colored miasma poison, that had everyone covering their mouths and coughing.

Kouga howled long and hard into the night at the lost oppurtunity to get Naraku and possibly his pups. The grief within him was soo great that he feel to his knees and began to cry a river of tears that seemed unending. No one knew what to do. Inuyasha felt his grief and wanted to do something but didnt know what, niether did anyone else, except for Kagome. She walked over to him and knelt next to him, bringing him into her arms and holding him close to her as he cried on her shoulder. She made soothing noises and stroked his back and hair. Sesshomaru looked at Inuyasha and gave him a look, like, are you going to let your mate be in the arms of another? Inuyasha glared back and let him know that he trusted his mate. They all sat silently for what seemed like hours as Kouga contined to cry as Kagome soothed him the best she could. How were they to do this now? Naraku had known they were going to plan an attack, but now they couldnt cause there was no suprise anymore and Naraku would hurt Kouga's pups. They had no idea what they were going to do now.
