Chapter 20~The Plan!

"I cant just stand around here anymore!..I have to go and I have to go ALONE!" Kouga yelled in anger. Why didnt these people understand what he had to do?

"I already told you that I dont give a damn about the shards and I will give them to Naraku if it will save my pups..I know that pisses you guys off but this is the life of my pups and I will do ANYTHING to protect them!" he added with a fierce growl.

"Kouga we're not worried about the shards..we understand about that..none of us would do anything less to get our own pups back or someone we really care about..its what might happen when you hand over the shards...you know Naraku wont let your pups go that easily and we want to help you..thats all." Kagome explained with worry and concern, yet her voice was warm and caring, as it always was with those she cared about, those she considered friends.

"Look Kagome..I know I came here and asked you guys for your help, but I know now that that was a mistake...Naraku would only harm my pups if he found out you were all there you heard him and I wont risk any chance of him hurting my pups you all have to understand that..Now I have to go and Im telling you..dont follow me...I have to meet him on my own..this is MY fight..not yours." Kouga replied finally, his statement told everyone that he would not allow any arguments or interference.

"Feh..let the wolf go Kagome if he dont want our help then theres nothing we can do about it now is there?" Inuyasha cut in, leaning against a tree with his arms in his sleeves as usual.

"But Inu..." Kagome began to argue.

"No butts!..dammit Kagome listen to him, hes right...this is not our fight..he has to do what he has to do to protect what is his...I wouldnt do any less." Inuyasha cut in and looked at her, giving her a look that melted her heart. He would do anything to protect Kagome, even give Naraku the stupid shards if he had to. He understood Kouga more than anyone right now.

"Thanks Dog turd." came Kouga's smirk as he dashed off in a whirlwind of dust. Inuyasha growled at the stupid name Kouga always called him and fought the urge to go find the wolf and beat the crap outta him.

"What happenes now?? He cant handle Naraku on his own Inuyasha...and his pups are going to die." Kagome said with a sad tone as tears began to seep from her eyes.

"What happens now?? Nothing...we just wait and see." Inuyasha replied as he looked at Kagome and hurt inside at the sorrow on her face. Damn the woman had to big of a heart, even after all that Kouga had done to her and tried to do, she still cared for that mangy wolf. He should of been jealous and a part of him was, but a bigger part of him knew that Kagome loved HIM, and that she was only being Kagome, caring for those she considered friends. He wouldnt change one thing about her for the world, even if it did irk him every now and then.

~~~That night no one could really sleep. Everyone, for the exception of Sesshoumaru that is, thought about what would or could happen when Kouga faced Naraku. All of them wished they could help the wolf prince somehow but to even talk about it outloud meant that there was a possiblity that Naraku would find out. He had ears and eyes everwhere. They couldnt even speak of a plan without him knowing about it and they wouldnt endanger Kouga's pups.

~~~Kyoto could here the scattered thoughts of everyone around her, except her big brother Sesshy, who had the ability to block his thoughts from her and anyone else. But she could talk to him, she just couldnt read his mind. The others were fairly easy to read. She didnt like invading peoples minds, she knew it was a violation on a mental level, but sometimes you just had to do what you had to do. Thats when she got an idea. it would take alot of her spirit energy but she could do it. Closing her eyes, looking as if she were asleep, as everyone else appeared to be, yet were not, she released her energy and sought out the mind of her new family. She touched each and everyone of them simotaniously.

"Hey guys dont make a move or a sound." her voice said calmly in thier minds. She flinched when everyone did a little jerk of surprise.

"Shhhhhh dont move!..Dont make a sound..pretend that your still asleep..its just me Kyoto." she added sternly trying to get thier attention and to make them heed her words. Everyone seemed to still and kept their eyes closed.

"Good..thank you.."

"Kyoto how the hell are you doing this?" Inuyasha growled in his mind, he found it very very disturbing to hear his new sisters voice in his head.

"Yes Kyoto how are you doing this?" Sango asked in her own mind. Right at the tail of Inuyasha's question. Everyone let out a collective gasp of surprise.

"We can hear each other as well??" Miroku asked in shock. Not only could he hear his mates voice in his mind but the voices of the others as well. It was like they were all speaking to one another like usual except there was nothing usual about this. He didnt know if he liked it at all.

"Please everyone bare with me and be silent for awhile so I can explain..it takes alot of energy to link everyones minds to one another so that we can all hear each others thoughts..as it is Im going to need alot of rest after this to regain my spirit energy back..but surficit to say...My mother was a seer, she could see into others minds, talk to them, implant images in their thoughts and so forth, as well as move things with her mind...when she died I inherited her powers, as most sorceress's daughters do upon the death of thier mother." Kyoto explained. She could already feel herself growing tired and there was yet alot to be done.

"The reason im speaking to you all this way is so that we can all talk and form some sort of plan to help Kouga without fear that Naraku may find out..I know you all fear that if you speak of plans or anything of that nature that Naraku might find out by seeing it threw that mirror of his off spring Kanna..but that mirror can not read thoughts soo I decided to link us up so that we can plan something to help the wolf prince." Kyoto added.

"So whats the plan?" asked Miroku.

"I dont know..I was hoping one of you had come up with something but hadnt voiced it or something." Kyoto replied. (ok peeps this entire dialouge will be in thier minds but I dont want to keep writing that they are soo I thought I would tell ya now..:-)

"All I know is that we should be there..hes going to need our help wether he likes it or not.." came Kagome's reply.

"But Naraku will sense us..and when he does he might do something to Kouga's pups." stated Inuyasha.

"I can take care of that with some herbs..it will mask our scent and our aura's so that we can be near by just not too close, but close enough to come to Kouga's aid if necessary." added Kyoto.

"Damn your good sis..." Inuyasha added with a smug little smirk and some pride, Kyoto blushed but no one could see it and blushes didnt show up in the mind.

"Thank you Inu..soo what do we do?" Kyoto replied.

"Kyoto did you not say that Kouga's girl pup had the power of sight as well? just not as strong as yours?" Sango asked.

"Yes."

"Would you be able to touch her mind like you are with us? Tell her of our precense? Send messages to her if need be?" added Sango.

"Im sure that I can, why?"

"Well since we will be cloaked by your herbs from Naraku and Kouga too, since we can not allow him to know we are there, we can hide near by and watch, see what happens, and when the time is right send a thought to Kali and let her know we are close and to give her a thought to break free of Naraku's grasp, as well as her brother, and when they are free we can rush Naraku and fight him off, even if he gets away with the shards at least the pups will be ok and with Kouga." Sango explained.

"But what if they get hurt?? What if we cant find a way for Kali and Kaze to break free of Naraku before he does something to them?" Kagome asked with great concern.

"That wont happen Kagome..you have Inuyasha, me Kyoto, Miroku and Sesshoumaru who are skilled at battle tactics...one of us is bound to find away to see an oppurtunity for the pups to do something to aid their escape, all we have to do is send it to Kyoto who will be monitoring our thoughts as well and then she can send the signal to Kali and when they break free we can all rush Naraku and make sure that they are safe." Sango said confidently. Just then she heard a growl. It took all her power to pretend to still be asleep and not glare at Sesshoumaru over by the tree not too far from her sleeping form.

"Who ever said I Sesshoumaru would aid any of you against Naraku? This fight is not mine and I have no concern for the wolf or his pups." came Sesshoumarus deep cold voice.

"Because if you dont Demon...I will make sure you live to regret it." Sango stated with a deep warning. Sesshoumaru growled louder, it was all the rest of them could do to keep from flinching at the volume in thier heads.

"Human you hold no power over me...I will regret nothing." Sesshoumaru replied defiantly, royally, coldly.

"Fine Demon then I forbid you to come at ALL!" she roared angerly. When they had 'discussed' her fighting against Naraku, which had led to explosive sex, which in turn and led to Sesshoumaru yeilding to her on that score, he had agreed to let her fight as long as he was there, he could not allow his mate to endanger herself, but if she was determined then he would be there to make sure no one touched her.

"You can not forbid me nothing WENCH!" Sesshoumaru growled heatedly.

"Yes I can cause if you follow us with no intention of helping I swear to the Gods I will castrate you slowly you pompous Demon!" Sango threatened.

"As if you could." he retorted with a smirk.

"Kyoto can you unlink me for a minute without breaking the link to Sesshoumaru?" Sango asked with dead calm.

"Only for a moment." Kyoto replied, knowing it would be hard to link up again but would do as she asked. It took only a few moments before Sesshoumaru growled and Kyoto knew that it was ok to link up to them again.

"So?" asked Inuyasha curiously.

"I will come." Sesshoumaru growled but stayed silent from that moment on.

"What did you say to him Sango?" Miroku asked curiously.

"None of your business Monk!" Sango warned. She blushed in her own bed as she remembered what she had told him. In general terms, she would refuse him anymore sex. She would relieve herself of any desires if she had to before she let him touch her again. Then she reminded him that he would be a very horney and lonely demon since he could not mate with anyone besides her. Grudgingly he had relented. Cursing her as he did.

"So then its settled? We go in two days to Kouga's mountain and wait for our oppurtunity to strike?" Miroku stated. Everyone agreed.

"Till then I advise everyone to behave as if we had no plans and were just going about any normal day..Im sure Naraku wont go to Kouga till hes assured we are not planning to interfere." Sango added. Everyone agreed. Saying quick goodnights Kyoto broke the link with them and sighed deeply, drained more than she had ever been in her life. Miroku wrapped his arms around her tightly and held her close. Said not a word, as he rubbed her temples in soft caresses to help ease any pain she was suffering. Kyoto sighed in satisfaction at his minstrations and soon fell into an exhausted sleep.
