Oh wow….It's been so long since I updated this, I completely forgot I had this fic till I came across it...Hehe. Well here's the third chapter, R&R and enjoy ^-^

Kagome jumped into the well to see the familiar blue lights as she traveled back to her own era. When she got to the other side, she jumped out and ran to the shrine to find that no one was home.

 

There was a note on the counter from her mother.

Kagome -

If you get this, sorry we're not home. Gramps, Souta, and I all went out to see a movie and eat. I hope you staying long enough for us to see you. We'll be home around 10.

Love- Mom

 

 

“It's probably just as well.” Kagome thought as she wiped away previous tears that stained her cheeks.

“I really can't believe that Inu Yasha lied to me like that! He said he loved me, I thought I could trust him.” She thought again as a new wave of tears came over her.

 

She ran up to her room and lay on her bed as she cried, slowly crying herself to sleep.

Inu Yasha was running as fast as he could towards the Bone Eater's well.

 

“I hope Kagome's all right.” He thought to himself. “Damn that Kikyo, she knew Kagome was there the whole time. She had no idea I was trying to tell Kikyo that I didn't want to see her anymore.”

 

Inu Yasha jumped into the Bone Eater's well and in a moment was in Kagome's era. He walked out and stood outside for a moment, then jumped on the roof of the house. He looked into Kagome's window and saw her sleeping her bed.

 

“She looks so peaceful.” Inu Yasha thought to himself. He could tell she had been crying. He opened her window and sat down by her bed. He brushed the hair that was in her face away and she stirred.

 

“Inu…Yasha..?” Kagome said sleepily.

 

All the events that took place a little while before came rushing back to her.

 

“What are you doing here?! Shouldn't you be off with Kikyo?” she said angrily. “I thought I could trust you, I thought you loved me.” She said.

 

“But I do!” Inu Yasha started.

 

“Oh yes, because running off to Kikyo sure shows how you love me.” Kagome said heatedly.

 

“Kagome, if you would let me finish-“

 

“Why should I?! What do you have to say that I have time to listen to??” Kagome said.

 

“Like I said, if you would've let me finish I was going to tell you that the only reason I went off to see Kikyo was to tell her that I was never going to see her again!” Inu Yasha exclaimed.

 

“Re...Really?” Kagome said slowly.

 

“Yes, she kissed me because she knew you were there, and knew that you would think I betrayed you.” He said.

 

“So…you do love me…right?” Kagome said timidly.

 

“Of course I do, I can't stand to see you hurt like that. It's just too much for me to bear. I love you Kagome” Inu Yasha said softly.

 

“I…I love you to Inu Yasha.” Kagome said.

 

Inu Yasha kissed Kagome gently on the lips. She gasped, this was the first time Inu Yasha had ever kissed her. He pulled away, smiling at Kagome. He kissed her again, this time a little more forcefully then he intended to. She didn't seem to mind. Inu Yasha licked her lips for entrance and she opened for him. The kiss was soon turned into a heated, passionate one. Inu Yasha laid Kagome on the bed and straddled her hips as she moaned. She started to take off his haori as his hands slowly slid under her shirt. Right at that moment, Kagome heard something downstairs.

 

“Mm...Mom's home.” Kagome said. “We need to stop.”

 

Inu Yasha replied with a “Feh” and followed Kagome downstairs.

 

“Hi mom, hi Gramps, hey Souta!” Kagome said happily.

 

“Hi Kagome.” Mrs. H. said to her daughter. “Oh, hello to you too Inu Yasha, I didn't notice you were there.”

 

“Hello Mrs. H.” Inu Yasha said.

 

“How long have you been here?” Mrs. H. asked.

 

“Oh, about an hour or so.” Kagome said.

 

“Well, if you two are hungry, there's ramen in the pantry if you haven't already eaten.” Mrs. H. said.

 

“Okay!” Kagome said. “Inu Yasha, do you want some ramen?” she asked even though she already knew what the answer was.

 

“Of course I do!” Inu Yasha said.

 

“Now why doesn't that surprise me?” Kagome said as she fished out a couple packages of ramen from the pantry.

 

After Kagome made the ramen and watched Inu Yasha eating happily, she decided to go to bed.

 

“I'm going to bed, goodnight!” She said to Inu Yasha.

 

`Not without me you're not” Inu Yasha said.

 

“Okay…but hurry up, Kagome said.”

 

“I'm already done!” Inu Yasha exclaimed.

 

“All right, then let's head up to my room” Kagome said

 

Kagome went to the bathroom and changed into her pajamas. She went into her room to find Inu Yasha was already in her bed asleep.

 

“Wow, he must have really been tired to be asleep already.” Kagome thought as she crawled into bed next to him.

 

“I love you Inu Yasha” she whispered in his ear before she fell asleep.

 

 

 

 

Well, there's the third chapter! I hope you guys liked it. I tried to make it a little longer, since I haven't updated in so long. Please R&R, I'd like some more reviews before I update again! Ja ne!~
