Chapter 3 - Alone by Sesshou-chan Lover

A.N.: See! I told you I would update soon! I started as soon as I posted (tried, at least) the latest chapters and stuff! IMPORTANT: Oh ya, if any of you readers want lemons, I'll try (underline try) to put some in the future, but you people need to review me. ~*Last time*~

"So lets go in already!" Sango said.

Once they walked in, they suddenly heard an annoying and high-pitched voice say, "Well, if it isn't the bitch tagging along with some poor people…"

~*Back to story*~

"Well, if it isn't the bitch tagging along with some poor people…" Kikyou retorted.

"Excuse me?! Bitch!" Kagome said angrily.

"Poor?" Sesshoumaru said as he raised an eyebrow. He was everything but poor…

"Oh, Sesshou-chan, not you, of course, I meant her other so-called friends!" Kikyou said, trying to seduce Sesshoumaru - in front of Sango, Miroku, and Kagome.

"If I'm poor, she don't even deserve to be on this planet. I mean, look at what she wears! So little clothing…either she's a very desperate whore, or she's just too poor to buy decent clothes. She isn't even worth talking to! Guys, let's just go somewhere else and leave this slut alone with her so-called lover." Kagome said coldly as she led the others toward another room of the house.

Sesshoumaru started getting irritated, since the men at the party kept staring at Kagome and Sango, mainly Kagome.

~*Sesshoumaru's POV*~

"Well, if it isn't the bitch tagging along with some poor people…" Kikyou retorted.

"Excuse me?! Bitch!" I heard Kagome say.

"Poor?" I said. If I was poor, I don't know who would be rich.

"Oh, Sesshou-chan, not you, of course, I meant her other so-called friends!" Kikyou said, flirting with me in front of Sango, Miroku, and Kagome. I winced inwardly when I heard her call me `Sesshou-chan'. About to say something, I was interrupted but Kagome.

"If I'm poor, she don't even deserve to be on this planet. I mean, look at what she wears! So little clothing…either she's a very desperate whore, or she's just too poor to buy decent clothes. She isn't even worth talking to! Guys, let's just go somewhere else and leave this slut alone with her so-called lovers." Kagome said coldly as she started leading us into another room.

I was starting to get irritated, because all of the men in the room were staring at my Kagome. Cursing, I wondered when I could get over my so-called infatuation of mine. I have not, and will not fall in love with a human girl.

~*Back to normal POV*~

"Hey, Kags, I heard they're having a dance competition in the next room. You wanna try? I know you're good!" Sango said.

"Um…I'm not sure…and I don't want to emba - " Kagome said.

"So you're scared?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"I'm not scared! It's just I don't want to be embarrassed…fine I'll go, Sango. Are you going to go?" Kagome asked.

"Nah, you know I can't dance. I'll cheer you on in the crowd!" Sango said. Kagome sighed.

"Fine…" Kagome said nervously as she walked into the room. Just as they walked in, they saw Kikyou of all people dancing on the stage, slapping her ass in front of everyone. The guys were staring at her, in a trance. The song ended, and some scattered applause and some whistles could be heard through the room.

"Who else wants to have a turn?" the DJ said over the speakers. Sango pushed Kagome lightly towards the stage. The DJ looked Kagome over, making Sesshoumaru growl (once again) inwardly. "And what's your name, beautiful?" he said.

"Kagome…" she said. After telling him the song, it's tunes began to play. Kagome started to dance, and Sango gasped, "She's going to belly dance!" Just right then, Inu-yasha walked in. He had been wondering why he didn't see anybody outside, and had started looking for Kikyou. The said person was looking at Kagome worrying that Kagome would actually win. Inu-yasha's jaw dropped as he saw Kagome on the stage, dancing her ass off with her dress starting to ride up a little due to her dancing, showing off her tantalizing legs. Sesshoumaru smirked in seeing Inu-yasha so shocked. Kagome had never worn anything like that when he had dated her, and had only started to change after he broke up with her. Usually, if they went on a date, Kagome only wore loose sweaters/shirts and baggy pants.

If the men in the room thought Kikyou was good, they thought Kagome was…well, their goddess. Sesshoumaru himself stood entranced as the beautiful creature in front of him dance. He was so caught up that he didn't even notice the other men staring at her. Some of them had even started drooling!

As the last notes of the song ended, the whole room burst into applause and many whistles and hoots were heard. Sesshoumaru snapped out of his trance and watched the blushing Kagome as she walked down.

"Wow, that was totally amazing, dude! Anyways, I think we all know who the winner is - Kagome!" the DJ announced.

"I knew you could do it!" Sango said as she hugged Kagome. "Let's go start dancing!" The men followed the ladies, still a bit dazed, into the biggest room of the house. Miroku started dancing with Sango, and Sesshoumaru mustered up the courage and said, "Do you want to dance?" a bit confused about why he was nervous.

"Um…sure!" Kagome said, blushing. Both were surprised that the other could dance so well. After the first song, which was upbeat, the DJ started playing "Every Heart" by Boa. Sesshoumaru offered his hand, and Kagome blushed. Accepting it, Kagome leaned her head on his shoulder and the started to slow dance. Kagome took a quick glance at Miroku and Sango, thinking that they made a cute couple. Little did she know that they were thinking the same thing about her and Sesshoumaru… (A.N. sorry if the fic is messed up now, it's 2 in the morning and I have no caffeine at all…I try to add a little to the story everyday…ANYWAYS)

"Don't you think they're meant for each other? I mean they look so perfect in each other's arms!" Sango sighed dreamily.

Miroku stared at them curiously. "I wonder how they met…" when he started getting a perverted grin. Since Sango's head was against his chest, she didn't see (or feel) his hand reaching down to grope her, until - a SMACK!!! could be heard throughout the club. Sesshoumaru chuckled, and Kagome just got an anime-styled Sweatdrop.

"You know, you should laugh more." Kagome said.

"Why?" Sesshoumaru asked. Kagome blushed and mumbled something in his chest. "Sorry, I didn't hear you. Can you repeat that?" Of course, Sesshoumaru heard it clearly, but he wanted to make Kagome blush more.

"You…*mumble*…look cute n stuff…" Kagome managed to say before she buried her head once again in his chest. Sesshoumaru smiled.

~*Sesshoumaru's POV*~

`Damn…I'm getting soft.' I thought.

`You're not getting soft, you're just in love with Kagome.'

`Don't tell me, it's you again.'

`Yup! It's me! Or, technically, it's you.' Sesshoumaru growled inwardly.

`I suggest you go away, before I kill you.'

`*Exasperated sigh* How many times do I have to tell you that you can't kill yourself?! And I've told you before that you shouldn't ignore your feelings about Kagome. I mean, have you ever met anyone better than her all your life? And you're old enough for me to ask you that.'

`I have met many more beautiful youkai bitches - `

`Admit it, you think Kagome is and always will be more pretty than them. Not to mention hot, with nice curves, she's innoc - `

`Shut up!' I started tensing up, but I was brought out of my little "conversation" when Kagome, almost like sensing my irritation, whispered, "Sesshoumaru? Are you ok?"

"I'm fine…" Even though I couldn't help thinking what the `voice' said to me.

"Kagome?" I whispered. For the 1st time in my life, since I was 5 years old, I was nervous.

"Hmm?" Kagome responded.

"Will…will you go on a date with me tomorrow?" I asked, suddenly diverting my eyes from hers. Kagome blushed, and I had a feeling I'd see more of those to come.

"S-sure…" she said. Swallowing my relief, (AN: I know, very OC), I heard her ask, "When? And where?" `Dammit…I hadn't thought of that…' Then, I remembered where we first met.

"You know where we first met? At the No Tama Park? Meet me there, at the entrance, at 6 o clock pm. There is no need to wear anything formal, as it will be in the park ." I said, thinking of the special place there that not much people knew about.

"Ok…"

~*~*~

None of them noticed that the song had ended 5 minutes ago, and Kagome was just thinking, `Oh my god! Did the Sesshoumaru Takahashi just ask me out - on a date?'

~*After the party (Normal POV)*~

A fuming Sango could be seen dragging out Miroku, who had a red handprint on his face, outside. Then, Sango calmed down and said, "That was fun!" Kagome agreed, Miroku was still looking like #_# and Sesshoumaru didn't say anything. The ride back was in silence, in both cases, since Miroku drove Sango back and Sesshoumaru drove Kagome back. Finally, they reached the shrine steps. There was some awkward silence as they walked up. Kagome gathered her courage, and before Sesshoumaru could leave, pecked him on the lips, and said, "Thanks for driving me! C'ya tomorrow!" Kagome said as she dashed into the house blushing.

Ironically, they both touched their lips at the same time and thought, `I can't believe she/I kissed him/me!' Kagome's face was so red it would make a tomato embarrassed, and she was currently banging her head on the wall. `I just kissed Sesshoumaru Takahashi! I just ......

and it went on like that through the night.

~*The Next Day*~

(Kagome is starting to get ready for the "date")

"What to wear, what to wear…" Kagome muttered, thinking about what to wear to a park.

"Aha!! This is perfect!" she said. She had picked out a pair of tight pair black pants that allowed her way more movement than jeans, and a form-fitting pink t-shirt with the words "Devilish Angel" on the front. Looking at the clock, which read 5:50pm., Kagome cursed and hurriedly put on some mascara, light pink eye shadow, and some clear lip gloss. Finally, she dashed out the door, just as she put on a pair of Adidas. Forgetting her jacket, she ran at top speed, she saw the entrance of the park, and skid to a stop right before Sesshoumaru breathlessly.

Sesshoumaru looked amused at the sight of Kagome, and she could of sworn that the corners of his mouth lifted a little. Instead of the usual Armani, which was a surprise, he wore a pair of baggy (fashionable, not those jeans that old people like to wear…ugh) jeans, and an oversized t-shirt that kept him cool if need be. He also wore a leather jacket, which was unzipped.

She blushed, and said, "Sorry, I feel asleep while taking a bath (blushes harder), am I late?" Kagome asked, a bit embarrassed as usual. `Why does he make me so embarrassed all the time? I'm usually calm and collected!' They both looked each other over, and Kagome blushed even harder at the sight of him. Sesshoumaru once again had to suppress his (by now, he could actually call it annoying himself) demon blood to snarl, grab Kagome, and take her far away from the prying male eyes that were on Kagome. If Kagome didn't know better, she could have sworn that he said, "Mine…"

"Sorry? I didn't hear you." Kagome said uncertainly.

"Nothing…come." Sesshoumaru said as he took Kagome's hand and led her down the pathway. After about 5 minutes of walking, Kagome heard the sky rumble and she felt a tiny raindrop fall on her nose.

~*Kagome's POv*~

I could of sworn that I had heard Sesshoumaru say, "Mine." But then again, near the park, you never know if it's just an animal. Still…

"Sorry? I didn't hear you." I said, just to make sure.

I heard him say, "Nothing…come." as he took my hand. Fighting down a blush, and I was successful (cheering), we started walking. About 5 minutes later, I heard some rumbling in the sky and I felt a tiny raindrop hit my nose. I scowled inwardly. `Of all the times it had to rain, kami-sama had to choose today, right now. *sigh*'

`You know that you like him. That's why you're upset - you think that he's going to have to take you home now.'

`Who are you?'

`Your conscience.'

`Great…now I'm talking to myself…'

`You really are talking to yourself you know! Am I that bad?'

`*Sigh* Wait…I don't like Sesshoumaru! I mean, I know he has a nice body, and he's cut - woa, hold on Kagome, I don't like Sesshoumaru! I really don't! I don't -'

I was interrupted when I felt something, or someone bump into us. I looked down, and saw an adorable little girl, crying.

~*Back to normal POV*~

"Shh…there, there, stop crying…my name's Kagome, and his is Sesshoumaru's. What's yours?" Kagome asked.

The child stopped sniffling, and looked up to Kagome with wide, innocent brown eyes. The girl smiled, and upon seeing the gap-toothed smile, Kagome absolutely melted.

"Rin's name is Rin, Kagome-chan!" Rin said. Sesshoumaru knelt down, and said, in a gentle voice, which surprised Kagome, "What's wrong?"

"Rin was walking with okaa-san and otou-san, when Rin saw a pretty butterfly. Rin jumped and chased after it, but then Rin realized Rin was lost..." Rin said, as she started sniffling again.

"Aw, don't worry, Rin-chan, we'll help you find your parents! I've been here a lot of times before, I'm sure I can help you!" Kagome said, looking to Sesshoumaru to see if he was ok with it. He nodded.

"Now, Rin-chan, do you remember where you last saw your parents?" Sesshoumaru said.

"Rin remembers a big bench, with a big white thing that held water in it, and a garbi…garba…garbage can next to it!" Rin said enthusiastically, proud of remembering the word `garbage'.

"I remember seeing that when we were walking…" Kagome said. Sesshoumaru nodded and picked Rin up and carried her the piggy back style. Rin giggled.

"Rin can see everything up from here!" she squealed (softly). Kagome smiled. Simultaneously, Kagome and Sesshoumaru thought the same thing at the same time. "She's/He's good with kids…" Kagome was thinking about how gentle Sesshoumaru was acting, and couldn't help but start getting embarrassed from the way her thoughts were going. Sesshoumaru was thinking that Kagome would be good with kids, especially if they had their own…neither liked the direction their thoughts were turning. As they walked bath on the path they came on, they heard someone yell, "Rin-chan!"

Rin gasped and said, "Okaa-san!" Sesshoumaru put Rin down and the woman ran to Rin, hugging her tightly.

"Arigato, arigato for helping my little Rin!" her mother said as she was still hugging Rin. "Rin, don't run away like that again, ok? Tell us first!" Rin's father scolded gently.

"Hai, otou-san. Look! I made new friends! This is Sesshoumaru-sama, and Kagome-nee-chan!" Rin exclaimed, running over to the both of them and hugging them both. "Arigato for helping Rin!" she said.

"Sorry, but we are in a rush now, we must go, but thanks again for helping Rin! I'm Mr. Takimoto, but we really must be going. Ja!" They all said their farewells, and the group parted. Kagome thought she had seen Sesshoumaru blush when Rin hugged him, but thought better of it. I mean, who wouldn't? The couple walked on silently, still lost in their thoughts…

SCL: Phew! That took long! But, hey, I updated soon! Way sooner!

Sesshoumaru: You may have updated soon, but the only reason was because this Sesshoumaru threatened to kill you if you didn't update soon. The mob outside the door helped.

Kagome: (still blushing) You made me kiss Sesshoumaru? I should have known…

SCL: Well, this IS a Kag/Sess fic…and I think Sesshy here likes the attention…

Sesshoumaru: *Blushes*

SCL: (gasp, almost faint) Sesshou blushed! See everyone! He can blush!

Kagome: So you actually liked the `kissing' part?

Sesshoumaru: *Blushes harder*

Kagome: I…*mumble*…kinda liked it too…

SCL: Ok, while we leave the couple alone (readers see Kag + Sess making out in background), I'd just like to say, please review!! And thanks for reading!
