A loud blast sounded through out Sesshomaru‘s castle and Inuyasha’s forest. Inuyasha stood across the court yard from Sesshomaru who still stood, unaffected by Inuyasha wind scar. “You missed.” Sesshomaru’s cold voice called out as the dust settled.

“Maybe because I wasn’t aiming for you.” Inuyasha replied back.

Sesshomaru’s ears picked up on the tree falling behind him and he simply side stepped. The tree hit the ground beside him. “Is that the best you got?” Sesshomaru replied holding up Tokijin. “Dragon strike.” He yelled swing his sword in a downward motion, blue thunderous lights flew from the sword straight at Inuyasha. Using his sheath he blocked the blow, sending Sesshomaru’s attack in two different directions, towards Kagome and the other toward Sango.

“Oka-san look out.” Shippo yelled.

Kagome turned quickly putting up a barrier.

“Sango!” Miroku cried out. Sango froze as the rest of Sesshomaru’s attack was coming at her, she put her Hiraikotsu to block the blow, but it didn’t help much, she was still thrown back into the stone wall of the castle. Miroku and Kilala were the first by her side. ”Sango?”

“Miroku…” She groaned rubbing her throbbing head.

“Are you alright?” He asked holding her free hand.

“I’m fine.” She replied sitting up. Her eyes filled with shock and amazement when Miroku hand traveled down her backside and stopped at her lower back. Taking her Hiraikotsu, he slowly helped her to her feet. “Thank you.” She replied with a slight head bow.

“You sure your alright?” He asked.

“Yeah.” She said with a bright smile.

Kilala growled as she sensed Sesshomaru walking over, she gave a warning hiss but he kept walking. With another hiss she transformed into her flaming pawed form. Miroku turned to Sesshomaru. “Don’t you how to aim?”

“It was not this Sesshomaru who send the attack at the taijiya.” He simply replied before looking over at his brother.

“Inuyasha?” Miroku called shocked as every ones eyes fell upon the hanyou.

Inuyasha ears lay flat against his hair and his head was held low. “I didn’t mean to…I um…I’m sorry…I never meant to hurt anyone.”

“What happened?” Sango asked.

“I used my sheath to block his attack and well it diverted it towards you.” Inuyasha with an apologizing whimper.

“You’d better be sorry…you almost hurt Kagome!” Shippo yelled hitting the hanyou on the head.

“I’m fine Shippo.” Kagome replied walking up from behind Inuyasha.

Inuyasha head fell even lower and a loud a whimper escaped him “Sorry.“ He said as his bangs covered his face.

“I said I’m fine… besides it wasn’t like you meant to.” Kagome said reaching up and rubbing his ears. “Just work on where you deflecting things.” She said as he began to purr.

“Lady Kagome’s right.” Sesshomaru replied “Deflection can be a weapon.”

“Yeah all you have to do is aim.” Sango said.

“Can you really think he can do that?” Shippo asked under his breath but Inuyasha heard it.

“Of course I can runt.” Inuyasha yelled pulling away from Kagome’s loving touch and grabbed Shippo by his tail dangling him in the air.

“We shall see.” Sesshomaru said a catching on to Shippo game, get Inuyasha mad and make him do things he wouldn’t.

Inuyasha dropped Shippo and glared at his brother. “Let’s get this over with.” Inuyasha replied walking back onto the practice field.

Sesshomaru smirk and followed his brother. “Ready?”

“Born ready?”

Sesshomaru release a small laugh, everyone even Rin was shocked. “You were born nothing but a cry baby.” He said raising Tokijin over his head. “Dragon strike!” The blue thunderous light flew at Inuyasha. He took his sheath and swung it like a baseball bat, when the sheath connected with the attack, it send the attack flying right back at Sesshomaru. The attack was coming back to fast he knew he wouldn’t be able get out the way in time. Sesshomaru grinded his teeth and awaited the blow. Which never came, thanks to Kagome who a barrier around him, when the attack hit the barrier it died down.

“I’m not a cry baby.” Inuyasha said putting Tetsusaiga back into it’s sheath and back into his obi.

Sesshomaru said nothing to his brother and looked over at Kagome, he nodded thanks and walked over to Rin who was practicing her sword combs. “Invisible opponents are easy to beat.”

“Mi Lord.” She said with a bow. “I was practicing with Jaken but he got tired.” She explained sheathing her sword.

He took in her scent, revealing that she was tired and hungry. “Go get cleaned up lunch should be ready soon.” He replied.

“Hai mi lord?” She said bowing then ran into the house.

“I believe there has been enough practice for today...let us go eat and rest…we will resume tomorrow.” Sesshomaru said looking at everyone.

Everyone nodded and walked inside.

< br> It had been three long months of training. Rin ended practicing too long, she was sparring with Miroku when she sprained her wrist. Kilala pushed Sesshomaru‘s patients over the edge with her constant sneak attacks and he cut her left paw with his poison whip as a warning. Inuyasha ended up with three broken rips after a spar with Koga. Koga had a black eye and a broken arm. Kagome had a few bruise and cuts from Ayame but Ayame ended up with small concussion. No one injured Sango, but throwing Hiraikotsu had sprained her wrist. Training had just ended about thirty minutes ago, they gang went to their rooms changed and came back down for dinner. Dinner had end and everyone went there separate ways.

Kagome was walking to her room when the question that had been on her mind the last three months ran through her mind. ‘What did that kiss mean? Are we still friends?’ She bit her lip and walked to Inuyasha room and gently knocked when she got no answer she turned the knob and pushed the door open a little “Inuyasha?” Kagome called, she looked around and saw no one. She stepped into the room and closed the door. “Inuyasha?” She called again. The bathroom door opened and out stepped Inuyasha. Kagome turned quickly and gasped at the sight in front of her. His sculpted chest was damp and glistening, his hair was wet and stuck to his back while his bangs were stuck to his forehead. Her eyes travel downward and fell upon a white towel that leaned to the left. She couldn’t take her eyes of the towel, slowly, images of what was under began to form in her mind along with things she could do with it.

“Like what you see?” He asked with a smirk noticing her staring.

“Huh?” She said shaking her head, when she finally realized what he said she blushed. “I um…no!” She yelled turning away from him.

“So why were you drooling?” He asked walking up behind her and wrapping her in his arms pulling her to his chest.

She blushed crimson red. “I was not…besides you have nothing to drool over.”

“Oh is that so?” He asked pulling her closer.

She released a gasp, a moan and a squeal all in one and push away from him. He began laughing, turning her even redder, but this time from anger. “Inuyasha?”

“Uh…Kagome wait…”

“SIT!” And with that she walked out of the room leaving Inuyasha in a crater with the impression of himself.
