Kitsune knew that she was hurt, that was all she knew. She didn't know where, but the pain was excruciating and it was making her vision blurred. She was laying on her stomach and she grunted as she tried to pick herself up off the ground.
Kitsune was a half fox demon. She was once a human, but Naraku (being the evil bastard he was,) changed her from human into a half breed. She wasn't too used to fighting yet with her demon powers, or her sword, and that is why when she got attacked, she got hurt really bad.
She had no choice but to lay back down as she started to black out.

Sesshoumaru walked slowly through the forest, Rin and Jaken trailed behind him. Jaken had in his hands the reins to Aun-Oun, the two headed dragon of Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru lifted his head and caught the sent of someone in the distance. He smelled half demon, as well as blood. He could also tell that the someone was a woman.
" Rin, stay with Aun-Oun. " he ordered quietly. " Jaken come with me." he said to the small green demon.
" Yes Lord Sesshoumaru" Rin said cheerfully as she started running around icking flowers. Jaken followed diligently behind Sesshoumaru as he went in search of the source of the smell.
After a moment of walking, Sesshoumaru spotted her. She was laying on her stomach. A pool of blood surrounded her. He walked over and looked down in disguisted. " A half demon M'Lord? " Jaken commented. " Is she dead?"
" close enough." Sesshoumaru said watching Kitsune's shallow breathing.
Kitsune heard voices. She willed herself to open her eyes. " please....Please help." she whispered " Have to....avenge... son..." she said her eyes closing again.
Sesshoumaru heard her speak. Something about avenging someone. " what are you going to do with her M'Lord? Leave her here? And so close to your castle?" Jaken asked.
" She's dead now." Sesshoumaru announced as Kitsune indeed took her last breath and expired. " Perhaps she'd be good company for Rin.." he mused. " Jaken, step aside." he ordered as he unsheathed the Tensaiga.
" M'Lord, surely you don't intend to resurect her!" Jaken said wided eyed. " She's a half demon."
" I know what she is, now move." he ordered again. Jaken moved out of the way. Sesshoumaru was able to see the imps from hell that gathered aroud the body of the half demon. He swung the sword and destroyed the imps. In doing that, Kitsune started breathing again. " Go get Rin and Aun-Oun and put the half demon on his back."
Jaken went and retrieved the girl and the two headed dragon and brought it forth. Jaken struggled but managed to get the half demon on the back of the dragon. " Lets go." Sesshoumaru said as he walked on towards his castle.

Kitsune woke up and blinked a couple of times, before her surroundings came into view. She wasn't in the forest anymore. She seemed to be inside. She sat up some, and winced. She wasn't in as much pain as before but she was mostly tender.
She looked around the room and saw that she was laying on a futon on the floor. She saw the room was not overly decorated, but it was still obvously a room that belonged in a place of wealth. She pushed off the blanket that was on her and tried to stand. She wavered a little and then steadied herself.
She walked to the door and tried to slide it open, but it wouldn't budge. " what the." she exclaimed as she tried again. " hey let me out!" she called to whomever was on the otherside of the door. When nobody answered she wondered around the room.
Kitsune got tired of wandering around so she sat back down on the futon. She layed back and staired at the ceiling for a really long time before she heard a noise and the door finally slid open.
" finally" she said sitting up. She came face to face with a little green demon who walked over to her. " I see you're awake" he croaked. " here, I was told to give you this." he held out a little cup of liquid.
" poison?" Kitsune asked looking at it.
" Half demon, if M'lord wanted you dead he would have left you so." he said bitterly and thrust the cup at her.
" no thanks. I'll still pass." she said. " and who is M'Lord?" she asked. Jaken looked at her. " M'Lord is Lord Sesshoumaru of the Western Lands." he said.
" Sessh-a-who?" Kitsune asked. Jaken's eyes went wide, then he tsk tksed " Of course I should have known a half demon like you wouldn't know about the great Dog Demon." he said.
" Yes well, now that I'm awake I can go now....you don't need to lock the door." She said standing to look for her sword. " Where is Ryukiba?" she asked.
" You aren't going anywhere." Jaken said. " and because of that you don't need your katana."
Kitsune grabbed the squat green demon by his shirt front. " GIVE ME BACK BY SWORD!" she said.
" Violence wont get you anywhere half breed." a smooth voice from the door said. Kitsune looked and up saw Sesshoumaru. " Let me guess." she said. " you're M'Lord." She said putting down Jaken. " And why can't I go?" She asked.
" You're to keep Rin company" he said ordering her. " She needs a female figure in her life...you will be that figure."
" So let me get this straight...I was dead....now I'm not....how you did that I have no idea....but now that you saved me...I'm here to serve as your nurse maid to some little demon girl?" she asked.
" Yes, except Rin isn't a demon..she's a human." he said.
