" So let me get this straight. " She said closing her mouth. " you are a full fleged demon Lord....but yet you have this little human girl follwing you around..I thought demons hated humans." she ventured.

" Stop your endless talking half breed.." Sesshoumaru said his voice touched with anger. " what I do is none of your business." He said.

" I do have name you know. If you were any sort of classy person you'd of asked what it was. " she said " especially since you say I'm no going anywhere." She said bitterly. She stopped talking and he didn't say anything. A long moment passed.

" well?" he said to break the silence. Kitsune looked at him. " tell me if it will make you shut up"

" Its Kitsune." she muttered. He chuckled

" how fitting...seeing that you're a fox half breed." he said. " I'll send Rin in....she should get to know you since you'll be her companion from now on.." He said as he turned to leave the room.

A few moments after he left, a little girl with a part of her hair pulled into a side pony tail skipped in. " Hi!" she said cheerfully. " I'm Rin...and you are Kitsune!" she said smiling. " M'Lord told me your name. Are those ears real? did you really die? How old are you?" She started asking a multitude of questions.

" woah woah woah..slow down there." she said. " one question at a time. " Kitsune hushed her by putting up her hand. " first of all, yes they are real...Yes according to your "Lord" I did die, and be resurected me.And I'm older then you. " she finished. " and you don't need to ask me everything at once Rin....It seems I'm going to be here a while."

Rin tugged Kitsune to her feet. " come on lets go play outside...we can get some flowers for M'Lord." She drug Kitsune out of the room and outside.

" Rin, I don't think Sesshoumaru would want you wandering outside." she said looking down at her. " Its not safe." she tried stopping the little girl from dragging her.

" M'Lord wont mind because you're with me." She beamed up at her. She let go of Kitsune's hand and went off to find some flowers. Kitsune sighed and followed behind.

Kitsune sat on the ground while Rin went from here to there picking up dozens of differen't flowers. Rin occasionally would place a flower on Kitsune's head then laugh and run off.

Finally an hour later Rin was getting tired, and wanted to go back. Kitsune follwed behind with an armful of flowers. When they got inside, Rin sought out Sesshoumaru. When she found him she took a handfull of flowers and handed them to him.

Rin then left the room, leaving Kitsune in the same room as Sesshoumaru.
" Did she even leave any flowers outside?" He asked putting the flowers down on a table. " Darned if I know...I wasn't really paying attention." She shrugged and set down all the flowers on the same table. " I don't see how you put up with it.." She shook her head sadly.

" I don't....I walk, she follows. I don't feed her, Jaken does that." he said. " Ive tried to drop her off at a human village, but she insists on staying with me...I don't know why." He said.

Kitsune looked at him. " So what, you think that if I spend time with her she'll like me more and you could pawn her off on me?" she asked. " Because believe me....I don't want her...I have a mission of my own to fofil...I don't have time to watch after a little girl."

" this mission....some sort of revenge of some sort? I heard you mention it when you were dying...I don't wish to know the details."He said turning to leave.

" Just let me go..." she said. " I thank you for resurecting me...but I really....need to avenge my..." She went quiet. He looked over his shoulde and looked at her with a gaze that said. ' avenge your what?'

" Avenge....my son.." She said finally.
