going to have a lot of explaining to do, thought Kagome as she came out of the hot springs tightly tieing a bathrobe around her.
Sesshomaru sure as hell wants to know every danm thing and well who could blame them? Finding out I was a demon two years ago was a huge shock im still recovering from it expecting him to just see terms would be practically impossible.
As Kagome walked down to her room (bathrobe and all you perverts) these thoughts and many others circled throughout her mind. As she sat down to her vanity and began combing through her siver locks she wondered how she was going to explain to Sesshomaru how she was a demon and that he needed to keep it a secret from Inuaysha and the others.
After getting dressed in her knee length nightgown she went to check up on Rin. The little girl was sleeping peacefully and Kagome didn’t want to wake her so she sat by the side of Rin’s bed and fell asleep there watching over the ittle girl like a mother would to her daughter if she were sick.

“Kagome-sama? Are you awake?”
Kagome slowily woke up she was sore all over after falling asleep on Rins bedside but atleast she was there when the little girl woke up with a nightmare.
“Good morning Rin how are you feeling?” Kagome asked still half asleep.
“Rin is feeling much much much! Better!” the little girl squealed
“Well,” Kagome said as she felt her forehead and sure as always her fever was gone “if your feeling better then………..”
Rin squealed and started laughing uncontrollably as Kagome pounced and tickled her tummy.
“Ahhhhhhhh,” was all Rin managed before she was laughing all over again to Kagome tickling her. She laughed so much it woke the manor up and filled everyone with joy to know there little mistress was so happy.

Sesshomaru woke with a start as he heard Rin swueal sure she was in danger he used his demonic speed to arrive at Rin’s room in mere seconds. So imagine his surprise when he finds that not only was Rin not in danger she seemed well enough to laugh at Kagomes tickling.
“So Rin I see your feeling much better,” Sesshomaru stated
Kagome instantly stopped tickling Rin as soon as she heard Sesshomaru and as soon as Rin started coughing again.
“Oh Rin I’m so so sorry!,” Kagome cried
“It’s ok Kagome-sama Rin was just coughing a little,” the little girl tried to soothe a frazzeled (not sure if it’s a word) Kagome.
“But that means your still sick!…………but I guess its better since your not as sick as yesterday so it means your recovering well!,” Kagome observed
Rin suddenly turned to face Sesshomaru who was standing listening to Kagome fret over Rin like a worried mother.
Rin needs someone to love her like that He thought
And wouldn’t Kagome be that perfect someone? a lil voice stated
Not you again……..
Oh I am deeply shocked Sesshomaru! My feelings are hurt!

“GOOD MORNING SESSHOMARU-SAMA!,” Rin squealed jumping out of bed and hugging Sesshomaru for all she was worth.
Sesshomaru in return kneeled down and hugged her back.
“I’m very happy you are feeling better Rin,”
Awwwwwwwwwww isn’t that sweet? A tiny voice in the back of Kagomes head stated
Ahhhhhhhh not so early in the morning!
Oh shuddaup! Looks like Sessy here isn’t a cold hearted monster after all huh Kags?
Sesshy?Sesshy? SESSHY! You just called the great demon lord of the west Sesshy!

“Rin if your feeling a bit better I’ll take you swimming with me I saw a lake here so we’ll go a bit before lunch for a picnic,” Kagome said
“Ummmm Kagome-sama?,” Rin asked shyly
“Yes Rin?,”
“Whats a p-picni-c and sw-imm-ing?,” Rin asked trying to pronounce the unfamiliar words to her.
Kagomes eyes widened
Whats wrong with her? Sesshomaru thought
“A picnic is where we have food outside Rin and swimming is where you practise abilities in and under the water.” Kagome said best trying to explain the meaning of the two words to her
“And we wear special clothing for swimming I have it in my bag, if Sesshomaru wants I can go to my time and bring back some special clothing for you to Rin,” Kagome said.
Rin turned towards Sesshomaru “Ohhhhh can she Sesshomaru-sama? Please?”
“Maybe we’ll see first you must eat breakfast you are a growing girl and need your strength.”
Sesshomaru then turned heel and went out.
“Well Rin would you like to help me pick an outfit?” aked Kagome of the little girl
“Oh can I Kagome-sama? Thankyou!,” squealed the littlee girl in delight.
After getting Rin dressed they went to Kagomes room to find something for her to wear.
Since Kagome was a demon she could change the appearance of her clothing anyway she wanted.
After almost an hour og changing Rin finally settled to having Kagome wear a sift pink mid-thigh kimono (similar to her first one in design) with purple sakura blossoms and a dark purple sash. Her hair was up again with her soft curls tumbling down her back to her waist, and around where the ribbion held her hair up a purple blossom replaced the white one she had on the previous day.
Kagome and Rin walked down hand in hand down to the dining hall where again a hushed silence fell when Kagomes beauty was seen.
Jeez what happened to their mothers and about learning not to stare Kagome thought bitterly.
Since it was the first day of the month all the lord of the lands, North, South, East and West were there to discuss any matters at hand. All the young lords, including Sesshomaru, stopped whatever they were talking about to stare at Kagome.
All the lords were inu-youkai (sp?) dog demons like Sesshomaru.
The first, lord of the north, Daikoku, had icy blue ices and raven dark hair that reached to his waist. He was very kind and understanding but very tempermental.
The second, lord of the east,Dosojin, had forest green eyes and light gold hair that ended just above his knees. Dosojin and Sesshomaru grew up tighter and was there in Sesshomarus time of need a great friend and companion Dosojin would give up everything he owned to help Sesshomaru.
The third, lord of the south,Gaki, he has blood red eyes and coal black hair the reaches to his ankles. He usually keeps to himself very withdrawn and distant but is accepting, only shows it in an unusual way.
And of course our beloved lord Sesshomaru.
After a few moments of silence and staring,mostly staring, it was Dosojin that was able to get his composure.
“Sesshomaru would you care to introduce us to this lovely demoness?” Dosojin said obviously smitten along with the rest of the lords and their guards.
No I would not! his youkai roared
Now why in the world did that happen? Sesshomaru thought.
Clearing his throat Sesshomaru “This is Kagome she is the healer that has made Rin so well,”
Upon hearing her name Kagome smiled and turned to find Sesshomaru sitting at a table with three other elegantly dressed and well looking men.
But not as well looking as Sesshomaru eh?
Ahhhhhhhh it’s you again! Leave me alone!
Fine be that way see if I care!
Kagome with Rin in hand walked over to the table with Sesshomaru seated, immediately Dosojin stood up and took her hand in his and kissed it.
Stupid flirt, Sesshomaru thought with a growl
What is wrong with me today why am I acting like…like……….Inuaysha?! Sesshomaru mentally slapped himself
“Good morning……..” Kagome trailed off
“Lord Dosojin of the East,” Dosojin filled in “And this is Lord Gaki of the south and Lord Daikoku of the north,”
“It is an honour and pleasure to meet all of you, hopefully Rin and I weren’t interrupting anything were we? Because if we were we can just leave,” Kagome said politely
“NO!,” all four demon lords said causing a giggle from Rin and a scowl from Jaken and the other advisors (or is it servants?)
Kagome smiled sweetly causing each of the hearts of the lords to flutter, well maybe except Sesshomaru who belives he doesn’t have a heart but we’ll take care of that……………..
