“OMG, the ball is tomorrow?!,” she squealed in excitement and stress
“I have to go!,” she told him
“Go where?,” he frowned at the thought of Kagome leaving him
“Well duh! I need to go prepare for the ball!,” she said
“Prepare how?” he asked
“Lots and lots of things to do, I’ll be back tomorrow,” she told him
“The ball starts at sundown,” he told her
“Okay!,” she said rushing out of his room
No Kagome for one day!! he conscious wailed

Kagome rushed out to the garden where Rin and Shippou were playing with Tuki
“Shippou dear I need Tuki I have to go back to my own time for a while,” she told him
Shippou got tear-eyed as did Rin
“You’ll come back right mama?,” he asked distressed
“Yes I will,” she told them giving them each a kiss on the forhead
Tuki was engulfed in blue back black flames for a few moments before she was as big as Kagomes demon form.
“Kagome-sama?,” asked Rin
“Yes Rin?,”
“Why aren’t you changing into your dog form and going?,”
“Because then my dress would be ruined when I came back,” she explained before leaving.
Tukis demonic speed was incredible she got to the well in less then half and hour
“Now Tuki,” she instructed “ I need you to stay here until sundown tomorrow when I return okay?”
Tuki meowed and lay down by the well to nap
Kagome jumped into the well
“Im home!!,” she said rushing to er house and greeting her family
“Sis!,” Souta said giving her a hug
“It’s good to have you back dear,” her mother said
“Oh mama!,” she went up and hugged her
“We have a lot to do!,”she told them
“And why is that?,” her mother asked
Kagome in two breathes explained everything starting from Rin getting sick to the ball,leaving out any moments with Sesshomaru she may have had.
“Well your right we do have a lot of work to do now lets see the dress,” he mother instructed
Kagome pulled out her mothers dress and showed everyone
“This is beautiful Kagome!,” he mother said excitedly “You’ll like like a goddess!,”
“Thankyou mom now can we go shopping for shoes,orange highlights for my hair, and jewellery?,” she asked ready to go out the door
“Of course dear but please change back we don’t need to give any heart attacks to the good peple of Tokyo,” she said chuckling
Kagome and her mother spent the whole day shopping. They got her 5 inch silver heels with three topaz’s on each,going up from the foot, one big one for the start a medium one and then a small one. They found the orange stuff for the highlights and they got Kagome some more topaz bracelets and earrings.
“Phew I never new shopping could kill someone,” Kagome said tiredly
“Were not done dear we have to go and get your hair highlighted so its ready for tomorrow,” her mother told her
She followed her mom into the bathroom where the set to work adding orange to her silver mane.
“WOW!,” Kagome sqealed once her hair was done “It looks soooooooo good!,”
“Yes it does dear,” asid her mom tiredly
“Thanks so much Mama!!,” Kagome ssaid hugging her mother tightly
“Now lets go to bed please,” she told Kagome
As Kagome got dressed she wondered what the reactions of the Lords, especially Sesshomaru, would be
Hopefully a good one she thought before slipping into a blissful sleep.

Sesshomaru was restless it was the day of the ball and not having Kagome there was killing him. After she left his caslte became quite and boring again. The guards didn’t laugh because Kagome wasn’t there. Rin was all upset that she wasn’t there to help her with choosing a kimono. Even Sashi the cook was a little down.
Amazing how she changed the atmoshpere of the castle in just a few days, he thought
“OW!,” he growled and looked down at the frightened demon tailor.
“S-sorry milord,” he stumbled
Sesshomaru was literally forced by Jaken and Rin to get a special kimono for the ball. After many burises to Jaken and threats he finally gave in.
The tailor had prepare a white and black kimono similar to his old one in design just another colour.
After another hour it was finally finished and was on his bed in his room ready to be put on at around the beginning of sundown.
Sighing Sesshomaru decided to walk down to the banquet hall were the ball was to be held.
Why can’t I get her out of my head he growled to himself
Becasue you love her…………a little voice reminded him

Shuddaup I ca’t wait to see Kagome in her dress can you? it asked
…….. No answer he was to busy thinking of Kagome.
After another few hours sundown FINALLY came and Sesshomaru went to get dressed
