“Kagome…what did I do?” Inuyasha questioned. “Nothing Inuyasha, I just wanted an excuse to get you outside.” Kagome smiled. “Oh I see, Kagome? Um I'm sorry for the times I was a `jerk' to you. I really didn't mean it.” Inuyasha frowned then looked into Kagome's eyes. “Did I ever tell you how beautiful your eyes are?” Inuyasha smiled as he walked up to Kagome and grabbed her hands. “Inuyasha…you know how you confessed your feelings for me last night? Kagome asked quietly, looking down at the ground, trying to hind her rosey cheeks. “Yea?” Inuyasha replied, then pondered as to why Kagome's tone seemed so sad. “Well I really am overjoyed to finally know how you feel about me…but I still get upset knowing that when ever Kikyo comes around…you disappear on me. `I really love you Inuyasha, and I don't want to have to feel like your `fall back girl' I want to be your one and only.” Kagome gently spoke as tears started to form in her warm, brown eyes. “Kagome I love you, only you. I only go to Kikyo's aid only because I owe her my life. She died because of me and I have to repay her at least by avenging her death. I don't love her anymore. Only you and I want you to know that I'm never leaving you again. I won't, I won't allow anything like yesterday to happen again. Seriously if Sesshomaru would have never saved you…I don't know what I would have done. “Inuyasha spoke in a low, stern tone then gently wiped the tears from Kagome's eyes, giving her a reassuring smile.

 

 

He then pulled Kagome in to his arms. “Kagome, let me show you…that I really do love you.” He then kissed her lips passionately massaging her tongue with his. “I do trust you Inuyasha…and I love you like you don't even know.” Kagome whispered into Inuyasha's ear. Inuyasha continued to kiss Kagome…slowly moving down her neck then back up to her lips. He loved her scent, she always smelled so beautiful. It was hard for him to always resist kissing her. Kagome let out a little moan as Inuyasha slowly placed little kisses along her neck. Kagome gently pulled away…walking over to warm green grass, and slowly taking a seat amongst it. Inuyasha followed after Kagome like a little puppy, smiling on his way over to Kagome. “It's really beautiful out here…After all the demons we chase and kill you would never expect a place like this to be so peaceful and quiet. Its really nice to get to relax every once and a while.” Kagome said then looked up at Inuyasha who looked back down at her, sitting in the process. “Its great to get to spend a moment like this with you.” Kagome smiled then leaned her head against Inuyasha's shoulder, then closed her eyes, taking in the moment that she was spending with her true love. “Yea, I guess its alright.” Inuyasha said jokingly then placed his arm around Kagome and resting his head gently against hers.

 

 

“Hey Kagome…I have something to ask you.” Inuyasha shyly spoke as he gently picked Kagome off his shoulder, facing her towards him. “Yeah, what is that Inuyasha?” Kagome looked into Inuyasha's eyes and gave him a warm smile. “Well, uh …um when a Hanyou um finds a person he wants to be with…they uh kinda.” Inuyasha stuttered and started to sweat. He was way to nervous to finish his statement. Not because he was unsure that he wanted to have Kagome as his mate for life but the fact that she could reject his proposal. “Well Inuyasha? All I here is a lot of `um's' and `uh's'. Spit it out…whatever it is you need to ask me already.” Kagome demanded. Inuyasha regaining his composer grabbed Kagome's hand gently. “Well I want you to be my…” but before his could finish he was rudely interrupted by a familiar scent. “Hey Kagome, muttface.” A voice yelled out. “Kouga, what do you want…you mangy wolf?” Inuyasha growled defensively and jumped to his feet. “Well I just came to see how my women was doing. So how are you Kagome…miss me?” Kouga asked as he reached and caressed Kagome's hand.

 

“Umm I…I'm ok.” Kagome spoke while pulling her hand away from Kouga's. “Damn women, why do you like to hang around with Dog breath? Don't you ever get tired of his selfish, arrogant self? Kouga smirked as he placed his hands on his hips and grinned at Inuyasha. “For your information Inuyasha is a great guy! He may be a little arrogant and demanding at times but that's just how he is. He really cares about me. And one thing is for sure…I'm not your women!” Kagome yelled in Kouga's face then she turned and crossed her hands and let out a “hmph.” Inuyasha started laughing and pointing at the embarrassed Kouga.

 

“But I thought we had …something special Kagome?” Kouga questioned with a frown on his face. “No we never had anything! It was all wishful thinking.” Kagome said angrily and started her walk back towards Kaede's hut. “Haha idiot! See no one wants you here so go run off with your tail between your legs like you always do.” Inuyasha exclaimed as he laughed at the wolf running off into the distance.

 

Inuyasha finally caught back up with Kagome and stopped her in her tracks. “Nice how you showed him off.” Inuyasha devilishly smirked. “So Inuyasha, what was it you wanted to ask me?” Kagome softly said as she stared into Inuyasha's big, golden eyes.
