“Kagome, will you hurry it up already? We've got to go find Miroku & Sango.” Inuyasha said as he started heading away from the cave. “I'm coming, I'm coming, sheesh I can't even get a minute to wake up?” Kagome snarled as she rose to her feet, trailing after Inuyasha.

 

The day was beautiful. A clear, blue sky traveled for miles. The mountain peaks lightly covered with a blanket of snow. A familiar voice rang out through the distance. “That voice? Sango!” Kagome screamed as she ran past Inuyasha & up to Sango. “Hey you guys…its great to see you. We thought something terrible might have happened to you two. You guys ran off so quick we didn't have time to catch up.” Sango spoke, her concerned look quickly turned curious. She noticed Kagome frown at Inuyasha. “Wait, are you guys ok? Did something happen while we were gone?” Sango curiously questioned.

 

“No, No nothing at all happened. We just got a little sidetracked, that's all.” Kagome quickly responded. “Yeah, just a little sidetracked.” Inuyasha spoke as he turned and looked into Kagome's eyes, apologetically. “Oh well what do we have here? A curious monk spoke. “Oh hi Miroku. I see you finally caught up.” Inuyasha smirked. “Yes, well I was merely wondering where Sango went off very quickly…and of course as to where you guys may have went.” Miroku spoke with a grin on his face.

 

“We caught up with Naraku.” Kagome said with a concerned look on her face. “And, did you guys kill him? Sango questioned. “I don't think we did…even though I incenerated him and Kanna with the Wind Scar, I believe he is still alive. He isn't going to die off that easily. Plus we already know that the only way to kill Naraku is to slay his human heart.” Inuyasha spoke lowly and turned and looked up into the sky. “I'm certain that Naraku cannot be dead if the Wind Tunnel is still cursing my hand.” Miroku frowned while looking at his palm. Sango put her hand on Miroku's shoulder, trying to comfort the depressed monk. “We will get him Miroku, we will slay Naraku before the wind tunnel…well becomes your fate.” Sango gently spoke and reassured him of her certainty. “Miroku!” Sango screamed as she bashed him over the head with her fist. “What, my hand slipped…I swear.” The monk giggled contently.

 

Back at Kaede's hut the group sat and pondered as to what to do about Naraku. “The sooner ye find Naraku and slay him the sooner we can cast the shikon no tama from this world.” Kaede spoke sternly as she stirred her pot of vegetable soup. “Well we know that much old hag.” Inuyasha snarled. “Inuyasha why are you so hard-headed?” Kagome replied. “You know what I want to speak with you…outside Inuyasha.” Kagome demanded. “wh...what did I do? Inuyasha questioned. Kagome stood and walked outside…slowly towards the Bone-eaters well. “Inuyasha, aren't you going to see what Kagome wants to talk to you about. If I were you I wouldn't keep her waiting.” Miroku spoke then turned to Kaede. “So what do you propose we do to destroy Naraku Lady Kaede?
