Inuyasha woke up and threw his alarm clock across the room where it slammed into the wall; to bad it didn't get smashed to pieces like he wanted. He trudged to the shower and turned the water on hot, he wanted to put blisters all over his body then maybe he wouldn't have to go to school and go through with another day of this mess.

His mother told him the reason why he couldn't see Kagome yesterday was because she knew his brother would be home and couldn't risk them getting caught. Of course Inuyasha didn't care, he just wanted to be with Kagome. It was like some cruel and unusual punishment that he could see her every day at school and never be able to touch her, and he was starting to forget how soft her skin was. He had only touched her the before yesterday so he shouldn't be forgetting, but he was use to touching her every day and now he couldn't, the thought made him want to break something a kin to Kikyou's neck.

He turned off the water when he heard his mother yell, and stepped out to inspect his body.

`Damn, no blisters.'

He didn't speak to anyone when he got down stairs, just drank some orange juice and left, he might as well get this day over with.

Kagome had decided to get to school early and go to the library and get a good book to read for a while. She wasn't really a book worm, but good books always seemed to take her away into the world the author created, it would consume her time until she finished it and that's exactly what she needed right now, something to take up the time that use to be filled with her boyfriend and get her mind off his distance.

She walked slowly up and down the rows of fiction books skimming over titles looking for something that sounded interesting. She saw a thick book maybe two inches and read the title.

"'Feudal Love Story'"

She pulled it from the shelf and read the summery on the back.

Summery:

This is story about a normal girl who wished for adventure and got just that. Shitari was walking in the woods one day when she discovered an old well and loses something important to it, determined to get her necklace back Shitari jumps in and is transported back into the feudal age, where demons reek havoc. Now she and a handsome half-demon half-human boy are on a quest to recover pieces of a powerful jewel before they fall into the wrong hands. Read and see if this young girl can balance both her lives in the past and present while falling in love at the same time.

"This sounds interesting enough."

After checking the book out, Kagome sat down at one of the tables and started to read. She was sucked into the books story immediately and didn't even notice when someone walked up to her until a shadow blocked her reading light. Kagome looked up to the owner of the shadow who was a young man with long black wavy hair and nearly crimson eyes, his stare made her cold.

Naraku rode with Kikyou to his new school, she told him about her plan and he had to admit it sounded fun. She gave him a picture of this Kagome girl and he looked from it to her a few times, they looked somewhat alike, and he had been attracted to his cousin for some time but couldn't have her and that just made her more enticing to him. The girl in the picture had her beat though, but it was because you could see her innocents right in her eyes, he loved innocent girls they were much more fun to play with and he couldn't wait to meet this little angel.

When they arrived at the school Kikyou saw Kagome going into the library and sent Naraku to `meet' her. He followed her slowly watching how she looked for a book to read and when she checked one out and sat at the table. She was so into it she didn't even notice he was standing beside her, but then she looked up and he was blinded by the purity in her eyes.

"Can I help you?" He pulled himself out of her eyes to answer.

"I'm new here and I was wondering if you could tell me where Mr. Myouga's class is?"

"Yeah sure, I have him for history first period when do you have him?"

"I have him first also"

"Oh then you can follow me, my name's Kagome."

"Naraku"

When the bell rang Kagome grabbed her new book and lead Naraku to the class room, the whole time it felt like he was drilling holes into the back of her head with his eyes and he walked so close, like right on her heels. She smiled to herself when she walked into the classroom and saw Inuyasha, his quick phone call from the night before still fresh in her memory. He looked up she walked in the room and held back a growl at the guy standing so close behind her just staring at her. When Kagome sat down in her desk Naraku sat beside her, she brushed it off, as she was the only person that he knew.

Naraku knew the guy sitting on the other side of the classroom was that Inuyasha fool that dumped Kikyou, but he had to say that the child had good taste in Kagome; he'd have fun taking her from him.

Kagome was relieved when she got to creative writing, Naraku had been in all her classes so far and clung to her the whole day. It's not that he really annoyed her, he talked to her and asked what she liked, but he was just a little creepy in the way he would look at her like she was something to eat.

"Okay class dead line on your stories is tomorrow, no excuses!"

Kagome didn't have to worry, her story was done and ready to turn in, it was the only thing that had kept her busy in the afternoons. She sighed and rested her chin on the heel of her hand about to drift into a daydream when Rin tossed a note onto her desk.

Kagome, who is that guy that was following you around all day, Inuyasha was pissed.

Kagome's response:

He's a new student and needed someone to help show him around that's all.

She folded the note back and tossed it to Rin, who read it and let out an "Ooooh". Kagome had to laugh, sometimes Rin was just too cute, maybe that's why Sesshoumaru loved her.

The rest of the class time was filled with discussions on American Literature, and Kagome only half listened. The bell rang and her stomach did flip-flops, she might be able to see him today.

She raced to her locker and got her books and then out to the bike rack, she walked for a little while hoping to see the limo, she screamed with joy when it pulled up right behind her. She and Sori put the bike in the back and they drove off the Yumari mansion.

"So how did you do today?"

"I was with her the whole time except for fourth block, Inuyasha didn't seem to be too happy when he saw me with her."

"I know! The looks he was giving you were priceless! I could have died laughing!"

"He won't try anything?"

"He can't remember, unless he wants my information to get out. Now, tomorrow I want you take it up a little, but when you do make sure that Inuyasha and I are both around to watch."

"My pleasure."

"Kagome who was that guy!?"

Now everything seemed like normal to Kagome, she had gotten here and waited for Inuyasha in the kitchen like last time and now he was in one of his jealous fits that she use to hate, but now it made their relationship look like it was back.

"He is a new student and I was just showing him around."

"I don't like the way he was looking at you!"

"Inuyasha please can we talk about something else, we never get to talk anymore and besides he'll probably stop hanging around me when he makes more friends."

"Your right"

Inuyasha was happy that Kagome could stay longer because his dad was working late at the company, and he didn't want to ruin their time together over some guy. He put in the movie and they both got into his bed and snuggled together, willing everything to get back to normal with their lives for just a few hours.

Stopping it right there people, I'm sleepy and I have to wake up and help cook, so nighty night, sleep tight and don't let the bad bugs bite!!!
