Arranged Marriage

Chapter one - Kagome finds out

A/N- Hey peeps! I really wanted to write a medieval piece for Inuyasha so I just made up any old idea! Heh heh! Well I hope you like it. Also this is story is obviously AU and also it's going to be kinda OOC! K!!!

"WHAT!!!! H-How COULD you! I'm not some- some jewel that you can sell on the market!" a very angry princess shouted at her father.

"I'm sorry Kagome but it's for the good of the kingdom. We need to form an alliance with the youkai Kingdom, or there will be hell to pay. Do you want to send your brother Souta to war?" her father said sternly.

Kagome sighed in defeat, "I still don't see why you can't send Kikyou, she's the oldest."

"Yes but she's only your half sister and not my child."

Glaring at her father Kagome ran off to the royal gardens to think.

`I'm only sixteen, how can I be getting married NOW!'

"So you're getting a wife at last Sesshoumaru?" Inuyasha asked brother with venom in his voice.

"Yes," Sesshoumaru said calmly to his half brother.

"Feh, (The traditional response from Inuyasha! *Swoons over in a faint*) I really pity the girl."

"Well at least Inuyasha I am doing something for our kingdom! Now why don't you go mop some floors or something," Sesshoumaru said in disdain.

"Hey! I'm as much a prince as you!" Inuyasha said, temper flaring.

`Stupid Sesshoumaru,' Inuyasha thought as he left the room and slammed the door.

"Had another fight with Sesshoumaru?" a voice asked.

"Ughh, I don't ever wanna hear that name again Miroku," Inuyasha said, clutching his head.

"I'll take that as a yes,"

"Look, Miroku, tell my father I'll be late for lunch, I'm going for a walk," Inuyasha said walking away.
