“Where am I?”

*~Author's Note- I love this story so I decided to update! ^^

Sakura
---

“This is Saber to control. Saber to control. There is nothing here. I repeat nothing here.”

“All right Sabre come on home.”

“All right, Sabre is coming home.” The man went to turn his helicopter but felt something calling him. Something needed him. “Actually, I'm going to take one more look Control.”

“Roger, Sabre.”
--
The helicopter flew down. There was something in the water! “OH CRAP! THERE IS SOMETHING DOWN THERE!” The helicopter motioned to one of the rescue divers.

The man lowered the helicopter as close to the water as he dared. “Good luck.”

The diver nodded. “Thanks. You too.”
--
The diver hit the water with a splash. There was a petite figure in the water, and its head was bobbing. The diver swam over to the figure and turned it over. The face was pale and ashen. The eyes looked sunken in, and the cheeks were hollow. The diver felt the person's neck to see if there was a pulse.

“Kagome….”

The diver shook her head, and lifted her arm out of the water signalling to the helicopter to lower the basket.

“Don't worry I'll get you to safety.”

---- Ten Years Later----

Dark eyes opened. “Where am I?”

“SAKURA!”

A young girl hopped onto the bed. “I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!”

The woman had a look of confusion on her face. “Um hello.”

“Sakura! You're finally awake! You haven't been home forever!”

The young woman shook her head, snapping out of her daydream.

“Hello Rin! Gomen! I was day dreaming for a second there.”

Rin smiled a huge smile. “Did you bring something back for me from your first movie!?” Asked the younger girl excitedly.

“Yes I did Rin.”

"YAY!" Rin jumped off the bed and ran over to the closet that was diagonal from Sakura's bed.

“Rin let me get that.”

“Ok Sakura! Did I mention I was happy you're home!?”

“Yes you did.”

Rin grinned. “Its so hard to believe you lived with us for ten years! You and Sango are like big sisters to me!”

Sakura ruffled the younger girl's hair. “Rin you know I love being you're older sister.”

“I love being your younger sister!” The small girl grinned excitedly. “Did you bring home something for Kohaku!?”

“Yes, I brought something home for Kohaku, Sango, Mom, and you!”

“Why do you call mom, mom, Sakura?”

A saddened look crossed her face. “Rin!” Rin jumped and turned around. She saw Sango there a reprimanding look on her face. “Sakura just got up! And you're pestering her! You know better.”

“Yes Sango.”

“Now scoot! I want to talk to Sakura.” When Rin made no motion to leave Sango sighed. “Alone.”

“But Sango!”

Sakura laughed. “I'll give you your present later Rin. But I want to talk to Sango alone ok? I promise I'll take all of you to a movie tomorrow.”

“Ok!” Rin smiled and left the room excitedly.

“So what did you want to talk to me about?”
--
A Young man stood over a woman's bed. It had been ten years since the diver had found her and brought her back. Ten years…. But the young man knew why the woman stayed in her coma. Knew why she still breathed, lived. It was because of her daughter. Her beautiful daughter. The daughter that had died ten years ago…. The young man felt a tear fall down his face onto the woman's hand.

“Don't worry Mrs. Higurashi. I'll always remember Kagome, but she is dead. I do not know why you still live.” He said gently to her.

The young man sighed and stood up. It had been ten years. Ten years of healing, ten years of having therapy. Yet he would never get over Kagome. Even if another young woman tried her hardest to take her place…. And it wasn't that he didn't care about that young woman, he did, but he could never get over Kagome. The young man sighed once again, and looked at his watch. It was time he got to work. It was handy being a co-owner of a business, but he still had to be in at a specific time.

“I'd best be going Mrs. Higurashi. I'll see you tomorrow.”
------

Sango looked at Sakura and took a deep breath. “Sakura, you've been living with us for ten years now, but you've never once said anything about what happened the thirteen years before.”

Sakura looked confused. “I don't know what happened before. Seriously I don't!”

Sango nodded. “Its ok Sakura… I was just wondering.”

Sakura nodded. “I really wish I could, but the only thing I remember is something glinting in the sunlight and a crash. That's it.”

Sango looked at Sakura intently. “Ok Sakura. So…what did you bring back for me?!”

Sakura grinned. “I brought you back…” Sakura went over to her suitcase and pulled out a package. “This.”

“Brown paper?”

Sakura laughed. “No silly! Open it.”
Sango grinned. She knew that Sakura would never bring her back just brown paper. Sakura had to be the nicest person she had ever known. “Ok.” Sango took off the brown paper carefully, not knowing what could be inside. “I wonder what it is!” Sango said as she looked up at Sakura expectantly.

“Keep going.”

Sango lifted off the last wrapper to find a silvery black dress with a print she wasn't familiar with, but was beautiful. “Sakura, this dress… It's beautiful! It looks so expensive!”

“Well it kind of was… but you're my date for my Movie Premier.”

Sango's eyes shone with happiness. “Really!?”

“Really, really.”
---
The young man stood looking out his office window. “Sir, your mail is here.”

“Thank you. You can go.” The mail carrier nodded and left the room. “I wonder what I have today.” The young man turned away from the window where he had been musing, and grabbed his mail. He flipped through it just to see what was there.

“Bill, bill, statement, notice…” If it had been less decorated the young man wouldn't have noticed it but he did and he opened it.
