Attraction

Part II

"You can WHAT?!" Sango yelled, forgetting about Kagome's presence.

"I told you that you wouldn't like it, but it's the only way to save her life. But it can be deadly." Inuyasha said. Sitting patiently he stared down at Kagome's bandaged back. The bandages needed to be changed already. "I'll do it." Inuyasha said, scooping up Kagome. He carried her down to the stream, against Sango's wishes. `I guess she thought I would do something. Feh.' He thought, peeling back the bandages to reveal the raw flesh. Kagome awoke and whimpered. "Shhhh…" He whispered softly.

"Mmff…" She muttered. "I-I-I-Inuyasha…" She breathed, wincing.

"What? What's wrong?!" He said, sitting back worriedly.

"Nothing. Thanks…" She muttered before dozing off.

He gulped before fully taking off the cloth and momentarily staring down before he blushed and looked away to the stream. `I've seen her like this before, I should get a grip.' He thought. He submerged her in the warm water of the spring, propping her up on the bank, her back out of the water half way. Inuyasha began to wash the bandages and looked over to see her staring at him contentedly. She realized she was staring at his muscular chest, since his shirt was in the water aswell because she had lain on it, and looked away, blushing.

"I'm not going to live, am I?" She said weakly. To realize that you have barely any time to live is an unsettling thought to anyone.

"You might. I hope you survive." He said softly, focusing on the cloth he was washing. He looked up again in a moment, and saw her wince. Blood began to trickle down her back again. Inuyasha readied his claws, seeing the movement in the trees.

"Well, well. It seems this mortal girl is causing trouble again." Said Sesshoumaru, dropping down to the ground from his tree perch.

"Must you always appear at stupid times?!" Inuyasha yelled at him. Sesshoumaru looked down at Kagome and stared for a moment, causing her to blush, before he looked back at his brother.

"This girl has awoken Shikijo. Feared she-demon of the lands east. Sealed away by a certain traveling priestess we all know quite well." He said, twirling his hair. "Who knew she had such strength." Sesshoumaru bent over and stared into her eyes.

"Could you stop that?" Kagome said, aggravated at the demon. She winced again, blood still trickling off of her wounds. Inuyasha hung the bandages from a tree limb and sat on the ground in his usual position, staring darkly at his demon brother. Sesshoumaru simply stared back at him. Their gazes were locked, and Kagome glanced nervously between the two of them. Now wasn't the time for a fight. Sesshoumaru broke the gaze and turned his face away.

"We have to catch her. Our only choice is that." He said simply, and smoothed out the fur puff on his shoulder. Bending down, he rubbed a bit of blood off of Kagome's shoulder. She stared at his face, quite shocked at his actions. Inuyasha realized that he wasn't really doing what he was supposed to be, and he stood. Walking over to Kagome, he jumped in the stream beside her. Lowering her down to the water, he washed her wounds. Sesshoumaru watched all this, quite amused. It seemed his brother had acquired the taste for mortals from his father. "You plan on saving her?" He said a smirk on his face. "And how will you do that?" Sesshoumaru said in response to Inuyasha's nod.

"I'm not sure I want to do that, Sesshoumaru." He said, grimacing. "It doesn't always work, ya know." Kagome looked between the two of them. Aware of the arm around her waist, she squirmed a little. Inuyasha resumed his task of washing her wounds. It was amazing she was still awake and talking. She was fatally injured after all. Sango jumped out of the woods into the clearing.

"How long is this going to take?" She said, mildly aggravated, before she noticed Sesshoumaru. "You again?! I hope you don't mean trouble this time." Sesshoumaru snickered a little at this.

"I am always trouble, little girl."

Brit: Weelllll???? Is Sesshou-kun gonna help? Or is he gonna kill them all? Who knows!

Sesshou-kun: At least she isn't calling me Fluffy.

Brit: Oh yeah, his new name is Fluffy!

Inuyasha: FLUFFY?! AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!!!!!!!!!!

Kagome: Ow. x.x

All: Poor her!

Brit: BAIIII!!!!!!!!!!!! *hug* *grabs Sesshoumaru-kun and Inuyasha-kun* Gotta go! *disappears*
