This story starts out Ayna (Aynastasia) beginning to bond with Rin. She had suffered a traumatic event that had happened to her a few months ago. Rin little by little began on the road to recovery. With the help of Ayna by her side.

Chapter 1

Family Matters

Rin was back at the castle with Sesshoumaru. Jaken has been back and fourth giving her a little tea. Rin wanted to be better fast she did not want Sesshoumaru to be concerned about her. After all, Sesshoumaru is with Ayna; the two are together in which made Rin extremely blissful. Rin was not around much to be acquainted with Ayna. She was with Sesshoumaru a lot, the two were still disappearing off to battles, they came back unscathed.

Ayna went over to Sesshoumaru, the two stood out side the bedroom's balcony. Sesshoumaru looked concerned while he stared into the late afternoon sky.

Ayna: “Sesshoumaru…you are concerned about Rin again. (She stood next to him) I would like to relieve your suspicions if you would like me to be with her, spending time with her?”

Sesshoumaru: “We were subsequently close in defeating Naraku, until your mother…she actually help that Half-Demon. Naraku placed her horrific reminiscences into her head.. reliving her traumatic past.”

Ayna: “Yes, I know. We were also combating alongside in the company of Kagome & the clan in hopes to defeat Naraku. Words cannot illustrate what I want to say why my mother would do such a thing to help Naraku.”

“That was months ago, Rin is gradually getting better. Right at this time, I feel it would be best that I be around with her more, just so that she gets to be familiar with me more, and in return I will aid her.”

Sesshoumaru: “Ayna, she is a human; she is not anything like us Youkais. Humans are fragile. For all I know, it will acquire longer for Rin to still pull through.”

Ayna: “I know she is. Rin is not just a human; she is more like your Daughter…Our Daughter.”

Sesshoumaru looked away from the sky to come across at his mate. He turned to pull her alongside him; where he at that moment kissed her. Then he paused for a moment, he positioned his hand on Ayna's abdominal.

Sesshoumaru: “You appear to her as your Daughter? Envision physically with child…Possibly baring a son.”

Ayna smiled to him.

Ayna: “Would that be before or after we overcome Narkau? I just want to know what your prospective on this.”

Sesshoumaru: “Neither, it has been 50 years plus more that Naraku been around destroying and manipulating others. I do not plan to linger any further just so he is been defeated.”

Rin was on foot down the lengthy hallway, at what time she came across the bedroom of Sesshoumaru. She went inside thinking that he maybe inside; instead, she saw both Sesshoumaru and Ayna on the balcony chatting to each other. Rin stood nearby and listened to their discussion.

Ayna: “I understand. I wonder how Rin would react if she heard or knew that I was with child. I hope she does not believe that she is being replaced.”

Sesshoumaru: “Rin would be delighted, she can be a big sister to her little brother. Rin would on no account be replaced…ever.”

Sesshoumaru knelt his head downward to kiss Ayna overpoweringly. Ayna was caught off guard for him to do that; but she moaned as he kissed her intensely.

Rin over heard furthermore watched what the two Youkais were doing. Rin thought to herself how Ayna would have Sesshoumaru's baby. The very thought of her being a big sister sounded great. She was by now felling in high spirits.

Rin cautiously went out of Sesshoumaru's bedroom and returned into her room. When she was in her room, she began thinking about what it would be like whenever Ayna has the baby. Rin then asked herself…

**In Rin's Mind…**

Wow, Lord Sesshoumaru and Aynastasia are planning on having a baby. I wonder if Ayna is with child now? How does Sesshoumaru know that she would have a boy? I am… that would mean that both Sesshoumaru and Ayna.. they think of me as their own Daughter even though I am a human.

**End of Rin's Thoughts…**

Ayna was walking down the hallway that led down towards Rin's room. She walked inside.

Ayna: “Rin? How are you feeling?” (Ayna goes over to the bed where Rin sat.) “Rin.. do you want to talk to me?”

Rin looked at Ayna.

Rin: “Ayna… I have been trying to forget about my past, but they keep returning. Not as often as they did before.”

Ayna: “Are you still having nightmares?” (Ayna reached out to touch Rin.)

Rin was happy earlier, but it was taken over by her painful past. Rin reached out and clung onto Ayna where she began to cry. Ayna shocked, insatiably she held on to Rin caressing her hair, and stroking her back to try to calm her.

Rin cried so hard that she started to hyperventilate.

Rin: “Okaasan! Otousan… Ainue …Kami..Onegai…Doshite!”

Ayna laid her head over Rin's head, and telling her to calm down. Ayna needed to get something, anything near by to wipe Rin's tears. Ayna turned to her side and saw Sesshoumaru where she almost ran her arm into him. Sesshoumaru offered a small hand towel to Ayna. She took it and began to carefully wipe Rin's heavy tears.

Rin slowly calmed herself down, Sesshoumaru sat on the bed next to Ayna. Sesshoumaru looked at Rin with sincere in his eyes; he placed his hand over her face with his elongated nails, he combed through her hair. He combed her hair aside where he had it wrap around her ear. Rin's eyes looked swollen and red from crying heavy.

Rin scrolled her eyes to see Sesshoumaru.

Rin: “Sesshoumaru… (sniff. sniff) Earlier I over heard both of you talking about me… it true?”

Sesshoumaru: “What was it that you heard Rin?”

Rin: “That you both think of me as your Daughter? Even though I do not have my original family.”

Sesshoumaru: “Yes, we do think of you as our Daughter.”

Rin: “Do I still call you by your names, or do I start calling you.. Okaasan & Otousan?”

Ayna: “Which ever you choose to call us. That would be your choice.”

Rin looked to Ayna then at Sesshoumaru, then began to ask them…

Rin: “Last part I over heard was that you two was talking about having a baby. Ayna…are you with child?”

Ayna: “Yes we both were talking about having a child, but no.. I am not with child.. not yet.”

Rin: “So… you are not mad at me for over hearing your conversation earlier?”

Sesshoumaru: “No, we are not mad at you. In fact we knew that you were in the room.”

Rin cradled her face in Ayna's arms. Sesshoumaru got up from the edge of the bed and left the bedroom. Ayna stayed inside the bedroom with Rin.
