A/N: Today is Kagome's first day of work! She is going to be stocking some shelves, and thinking of Inuyasha. Then, she is going to get ready for the concert. Well, done with overview of the chapter. Also, she meets Kouga. NO OFFENSE TO KOUGA FANS OUT THERE!!! Kouga will be hardheaded and stubborn.

Hello everybody. I just wanted to say this. If you are thinking that this is a mixture of different fanfics, YOU ARE RIGHT. I am putting together some of the fanfics I have read that were never finished. I HATE PEOPLE WHO NEVER FINISH THEIR STORIES, so I am going to finish them for all the fans out there. Please, to all new and old fanfic authors out there, always finish you're stories.

Jessy: Inuyasha, guess what. Next chapter, you get to sing in front of thousands of fans.

Inuyasha: H-E-L-L No!

Jessy:Please? -puppy dog eyes- I'll let you get together with Kagome...at some point in time. Plus, you will have a sexy voice and Kagome will fall for you.

Inuyasha:Okay!

Jessy: -giggles- Good boy. -rubs Inuyasha's ears-

Inuyasha: Please, don't stop. -purrs-

Kagome: Back off Bitch, he's mine.

Inuyasha: Kagome... I didn't know you felt that strong, but I always knew you liked me.

Kagome: SIT!

Inuyasha: damn...


Jessy: Oh, by the way, I've decided Kouga isn't going to be gay. Sessy won't be either. I'm going to use Kouga in this chapter.

Chapter 7: First Day of Work

"RRIINNGG"

"Damn, its too early for this." Kagome muttered as she opened her eyes. She grabbed the alarm clock that read '7:00' and threw it at the wall, shattering it into pieces. Kagome yawned as she trudged out of bed.

'Ugnnn, I want to go back to bed.' she thought when she walked into her bathroom.'But, on the other hand, I get to see Inuyasha today. And, its my first day of work.' Soon, she began to brighten up.
Kagome hopped in the shower and washed her hair. She got out and towel dried her hair. She decided she was going to scrunch it today. Kagome brushed her wet, raven colored hair straight. Then, she took some gel, rubbed it in her palms, and scrunched her hair. She then put on light makeup, which consisted of light eyeshadow and powder.

Kagome walked out of her bathroom into her bedroom to find something to wear. She decided to go with the punk look, so she pulled on a pair of TIGHT flare jeans and a black t-shirt that read
"I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it." She also pulled on knee-high combat boots that laced up the front, which she covered with her pant legs.

Kagome pulled out a jewelry box from under her bed. She rarely wore this jewelry unless she was partying, but today she felt daring. She opened it and pulled out a chain necklace with a master lock attached to it. Kagome slipped it over her head, then added some black and silver chokers. She then adorned her arms with about fifty black plastic bracelets(a.k.a. Sex bracelets!) and some silver chain ones too.

"Do you know what?" she asked no one in particular."I'm going to go straight to the concert after work. I already look the part, so I'll just bring my makeup bag and a change of clothes with me. I'll wear the goth clothes I bought yesterday at Hot Topic. Yeah, that sounds good. And, I'll call Eri and Yura and invite them to the concert."

Immediatly after she finished talking to herself, Kagome stood up and walked to her closet. She pulled out the bondage jeans and the matching red and black corset top. Then, she grabbed her makeup bag from out of the bathroom and ran downstairs. She grabbed her keys with her free hand, while the other held her clothes, makeup, and purse.

Kagome tore down the driveway to her car after locking the front door. She threw her stuff in the backseat of her blue sunfire, save her purse, from which she produced her cell phone. She whipped it open and dialed a number she knew by heart as she drove out of her driveway and into the street.

One ring...two ring...three ring...

"Hello, Masami residence, Eri speaking."

"Hey Eri, this is Kagome. What's up hoebag?"

"Hey weinch, how u doin?"

"I'm doin good. I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to a concert tonight?" Kagome asked.

"Yeah, sure. Wait...what concert is it? It isn't some boring country concert is it?" Eri questioned causiously. ((Sorry to all u country fans out there^_^))

"No, its actually a cool concert. Have you heard of the band Shikon?"

"HELL YES!!! Of course I have. What teenage girl hasn't lusted after the lead singer. Inuyasha..." Eri said dreamily.

"Err, okay. Well, I've become friends with the band and I got backstage passes. Inuyasha said I could bring some friends, so I'm inviting you and Yura. Do you want to come?"

"FUCK YEAH! When is it?"

"It starts at 8. I'm going to call Yura now, then I have to go to work. Inuyasha is picking me up in the limo, so be at the mall around 7. K?"

"K. I'm going to start getting ready now. Be careful when you call Yura. She is a die hard Shikon fan. Well, Ja Ne slut." Eri chirped.

"Bye whore." Kagome giggled slightly when they hung up. Eri and her had always called each other names, just for the fun of it. She then dialed Yura's number as she sped down the highway.

One ring...two ring...

"Hello, Yura Ichimura speaking."

"Hey Yura, whats up? Its me, Kagome."

"Shigeru, long time, no speak. What u up to lately."

"Oh shut up, Hentai. We just talked two days ago."

"Oh yeah..." Yura said.

"Anyways, I was calling to invite you to a Shikon concert tonight."

"How the hell did you get tickets?! They sold out months ago. I've been trying to get my hands on some for weeks."

"Well, I didn't exactly get tickets. We're going backstage."

"WHAT!!!!!" was all Yura could say.

"Do I have to repeat myself?" Kagome replied.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET BACKSTAGE PASSES!!!" Yura roared.

"Woa, calm down. I'm kinda...friendswiththeband."

"You're friends with the band?" she asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, I went shopping with Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo yesterday. I even went swimming with them at their mansion, and rode with Inuyasha on his motorcycle. Also, tomorrow I'm moving in with them." Kagome bragged, knowing Yura would hate her with a passion for this.

Yura was speechless for a moment, then replied as calmly as possible,"Okay, I believe you because you have never lied to me before. You...actually rode with Inuyasha on his motorcycle?"

"Yeah, it was so much fun. Hey, I am at the mall and I have to go to work, so be at the mall around 7 tonight. Inuyasha is dropping by with the limo and picking you, me, and Eri up. K?"

"K. I'll be there. Bye."

"Bye." Kagome closed her cell phone and got out of her car. She looked at the mall in front of her and walked to her new job.

"You're doing good for your first day here, so you can take you're lunch break now."

"Thanks Asayake. I think I'm going to like this job. It's so much fun. Well, I'll be back in an hour." Kagome said as she skipped out of the store towards the food court.

Kagome sat down after waiting in line to get her food. She bit into the hamburger greedily and swallowed without chewing. Kagome thought of the concert that would happen later that night. Suddenly, her eyes shot wide open. She told Eri and Yura that Inuyasha was picking them up! Kagome whipped her cell phone out of her pocket and called Sango's cell phone. She got the voicemail.

"What's up, this is Sango. Sorry I can't answer the phone right now, we are in sound check. If you are anyone besides Kohaku or Kagome, FUCK OFF because I don't want to talk to you right now. If you ARE Kohaku or Kagome, leave a message and I'll call you back."

"Hey, Sango, this is Kagome. Nice voicemail. Anyways, I was wondering if you could pick me and two of my friends up for the concert tonight? Preferrebly in the limo. I hope you don't mind, but if you don't, we'll be waiting for you guys at the mall around 7. Thanks so much. Ciao. Oh, by the way, please call back and leave a message. I am at work right now, so I'll get it when I get off. Bye"

Kagome sighed as she turned her cell phone off and began eating again. Soon, it would be time to go back to work. She dumped her trash and headed back to Carrie's to finish her shift.



"Hey Asayake, I'm back."

"Hey, you're ten minutes early. What's wrong?" she asked.

"Oh, nothing. Just thinking about the concert I'm going to tonight." Kagome replied with a sigh.

"Which one is it?"

"The Shikon concert. I'm going with two friends. I have backstage passes because I'm friends with the band."

"Oh, I've met Inuyasha before. He's nice...sometimes." Asayake said softly, thinking about last nights encounter with the famous singer at Area 51. Yes, Asayake was Inuyasha's bondage mistress last night.

"Really, you have? Cool. Well, what do you want me to do now?" Kagome asked.

"Ummm... do you want to stock shelves? There are some boxes in back. I'm sure you can figure out where everything goes. It's not exactly rocket science, so I'll go on my lunch break. Can you run the cash register if we get customers?"

"Yeah, I have managed registers before. I did some work at school where I had to run the register in the cafeteria, so I'll be fine." Kagome smiled.

"Okay, well here's the key. Good luck." Asayake called out behind her as she jogged to the food court.



Kagome grabbed the boxes out of the back room and pulled them behind the counter. She sliced one open with a box cutter and ripped the box open. Inside were some sex games. Kagome felt the heat rising in her cheeks as she pulled the items out of the box. She walked to the back of the store and began stocking the shelves.

Suddenly, she heard someone chuckle behind her. Kagome turned around to find icy blue eyes staring at her. She began to back away when the person spoke.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you or anything."

Kagome finally got a good look at the person. It was a man with long brown hair that was up in a ponytail. His teeth and fingernails were similar to Inuyasha's in length. He saw her studying him and spoke again.

"Hey, whats your name? I'm Kouga Ookami."

"I'm Kagome. Nice to meet you, erhh, Kouga."

"What are you doing back here?" He asked in amusement.

"I could ask you the same question. Mine is easy to answer because I work here and I was restocking shelves."

"I was admiring you, sweet thing." Kouga smirked.

"Okay, cut the crap. I don't want to hear any of that." Kagome replied hotly.

"Can I have your number and maybe take you out sometime? I want to make you my woman."

"NO, no and definatly not. I... have a boyfriend." she lied.

"Who is he? I'll kill him." Kouga growled.

"Oh no you will not. He is Inuyasha Taisho and you can't lay a hand on him." she said. "Now, I suggest you leave before I call security."

Kouga growled lightly, but stormed out of the store. Once he left, Kagome let in a breath. Asayake came into the store and asked Kagome how everything went while she was gone. Kagome put on a smile and told her everything went fine. Soon, both went back to work restocking the store.





~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~About 6:00, when Kagome's shift ends~~~~~~~~~~~~

The frantic raven-hair tore down the corridor of the mall to the bathroom. She threw the door open and began to get ready for the concert she was going to. Kagome took the clothes she collected from her car and changed in one of the stalls. Then, she walked out to see herself in the mirror.

'Oh kami, Eri and Yura are going to have a field day. I was never this outgoing before yesterday....' her thoughts drifted off thinking about the Friday before.

She quickly shook the thoughts from her head and grabbed her makeup bag. Kagome took out the black eyeshadow and eyeliner and applied it quickly. She powdered her face until it was even paler than before. Then, she took out her lipgloss and spread the substance on her pouty lips.

Kagome backed up to see what she looked like. Her eyes grew wide and her jaw dropped. She looked like a real goth!! The black bondage pants with the corset top matched perfectly. The top accentuated every curve she owned.

'Oh yeah, Inuyasha will fall down from shock. This is going to be sooo much fun.' Kagome thought. She gathered her items quickly and stuffed them in her large black messsenger bag. She slung the backpack over her shoulder and headed out of the bathroom. Kagome was instantly granted with looks of suprise and fright. She just chuckled slightly and headed to Carrie's to say goodbye to Asayake.

As soon as she walked in the door, Asayake was in front of her instantly.

"Hello, welcome to Carrie's. My name is Asayake, and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."

"Asayake, do you not recognize me? It's me, Kagome."

"KAGOME! No, I didn't recognize you. Holy shit, you look awesome. I hope you have fun tonight at the concert."

"Thanks so much Asayake. I hope you have a wonderful night." Kagome smiled at her, then turned and walked out of the store to meet Eri and Yura.

She took out her cell phone to check her messages. Sango called her back and told her they were picking them up and to be ready. Kagome breathed a sigh of relief. Sango had saved her ass, again. She needed to do something nice for the girl. Maybe she would try to fix Sango up with Miroku.... She shook her head. No, Sango would kill her and Miroku would mess it up. Oh well.

"KAGOME!! IS THAT YOU!?"

Kagome turned at the voice to see two girls walking towards her.

"Eri, Yuri, is that you guys?" she called. Both girls came into the light beam that was streaming overhead. Eri and Yuri were wearing matching bondage pants similar to Kagome's, and matching Shikon t-shirts, except Eri's outfit was black and blue and Yuri's was black and purple. All three girls exchanged hugs before Eri spoke.

"Wow Kagome, you look awesome. I never imagined in my wildest dreams you would wear this. Is there a cute goth guy you're trying to impress?" Eri grinned wide enough to show all her teeth.

"Yeah, you caught me. I am kinda, sorta, a little attracted to Inuyasha. He can be so sweet and fun, but his attitude turns me off a little. But he is hot." Kagome confessed.

"Ooooo, Kags has a crush on the band's lead singer." Yuri taunted.

Kagome blushed ten shades of red, then said,"Oh, look they're here. C'mon guys, lets go. Also, do not, and I repeat, DO NOT say anything about me thinking Inuyasha is attractive. He might do something to me in my sleep. Plus, Miroku would not let me live it down. K? K."

Suddenly, a sleek black stretch limo pulled up in front of them. The driver got out and opened the door for the three girls. Kagome got in first, followed shortly by Eri and Yuri. All three girls sat down across from the band Shikon and two other people. Kagome noticed them instantly.

The man sitting next to Inuyasha appeared to be related him. He had golden eyes and silver hair, similar to Inuyasha. Except the man's hair was longer, and his eyes were very cold. He seemed to be a hard person. The man was wearing a black trench coat and black leather pants. Over his right shoulder was a white fur boa.

'Hey, he's got a fashion statement.' Kagome thought.

The man had his arm around a beautiful girl. She appeared to be no younger than 25. She had black hair that was pulled into a bun, and deep chocolate brown eyes. The girl was sporting a silver tank top with a black dragon on the front. Her black leather pants had the same dragon design in silver on the left pant leg.

'This girl seems to be so bright and bubbly. What is she doing with such a hard, cold guy like that?' Kagome wondered. Inuyasha spoke up and broke her train of thought.

"I believe some introductions are needed here." he said irritably. The girls giggling in front of him were starting to get on his nerves. Kagome's gaze wandered onto him as she snapped out of her daze.

"Yeah, you're right. Everyone, this is Eri..." she pointed to Eri,"and Yuri. They are some of the friends I've made since I moved here." Everyone nodded their heads in welcome to the girls.

"Eri, Yuri, this is Inuyasha, Sango, the lecher a.k.a. Miroku, Shippo, and..." she stopped when she reached the man and the woman.

"Kagome, this is my brother Sesshoumaru and his girlfriend Rin." Inuyasha told her. Then, he smirked and said,"But, Sesshoumaru preferres it if you call him Fluffy."

The man Inuyasha called Sesshoumaru growled,"I do not like being called Fluffy, thank you. It is nice to meet you Kagome. Please, call me Sesshoumaru, or Sess. This is my wonderful girlfriend, Rin."

Rin gave her a smile and reached out her hand."Its wonderful to meet you Kagome. Sango has told me good things about you, and I'm glad to finally meet you."

Kagome shook her hand and said,"Its nice to meet you too, Rin. We need to get together sometime, You, me, and Sango. We could have fun and go shopping."

At the word shopping, Sesshoumaru snapped his head towards her."Bad idea. Rin is a shopping fiend. She will not stop until she buys everything she wants, or visits every shop."

"Oh, shut up Fluffy." Rin giggled. Sess glared at her, then gave a rare smile. "You, and only you, can call me that." With that, he kissed the top of her head. Inuyasha saw this, and pretended to gag.

"C'mon guys, wait for that until after the concert."

Sess glared at his brother,"You are just envious because you don't have someone." Everyone saw Inuyasha tense at this, looking like he was going to kill.

"Okay boys, stop now. We're at the concert. Lets get through this, and THEN you can kill each other. Deal?" Sango interveened.

The entire group could hear the screaming fans outside the limo. The driver came around and opened the door for everyone inside. Inuyasha climbed out of the car first, followed by Sesshoumaru, Rin, Miroku, Shippo, Sango, Kagome, Eri, and Yuri.

Kagome could see all the girls that looked at her, Eri, and Yuri like they wanted to kill. Inuyasha saw Kagome looking around, and fell behind to her side. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him. The entire crowd of girls groaned as they watched this. Kagome whipped her head around and looked at him.

"What are you doing?" she hissed.

"I don't want any fangirls throwing themselves at me, so I'm using you and making them think you're my girlfriend. Hope you don't mind." Inuyasha smirked in his typical fashion.

'Good job Inuyasha. She thinks you're telling the truth.' he thought to himself. In all actuality, he just wanted to get close to her. He wanted to smell her sweet scent.

'Mmmmm, cloves and jasmine. Gods Kagome, do you know what you do to me?' he breathed in again, just to smell her.

The rest of the band saw Inuyasha put his arm around Kagome, and each one of them inwardly grinned. They knew she was something special to him. Whenever he brought a girl to the concert with him, he never put his arm around her. Not even when he was going out with Kikyo. Oh no, he never EVER put his arm around her in public. This would prove to be an interesting night, each thought as the group walked into the stadium to get ready for the concert.
