A/N-- SOOOOOOOO sorry I havn't updated!! *hits self on the head with a lamp* I just have been busy! With camp and Band pratcice...whew! but you readers have been naughty also...YOU HAVEN'T REVIEWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I must insist that this is going to be my last post of this story until I get a review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

Inuyasha's mouth dropped to his knees, a bead of sweat appeared at his brow, and he fell over-anime style. "Y-your father is Koga???" he said trying to get to his feet again.

"Yea, and your point is?" Kaniji answered curtly crossing her arms and pointing her nose up from the half-demon.

"Well, then who's your mother?" Inuyasha asked slowly regaining his composure.

"DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU MY WHOLE LIFE STORY??!!" Kaniji yelled, tic marks forming on her temples. She sighed again, "I'm gonna call for help now if thats o.k with you" she said, her words dripping with scarcasm.

"Wait!" pleaded Inuyasha, "Before you go please, tell me, who was your mother??" Kaniji rolled her eyes, but then looked down at the ground.

"I-I never really knew my mother. She died in a demon attack right after I was born..." She gasped, the hole in her side where the rat's claw had colided with her body was too much. She fainted agenst the tree.

 

 

"Uuuuuhhhhh..." Everything was a blur. Kaniji tried to open her eyes as her senses came back into focus. She herd a roaring fire and herd voices, but they sounded far off, like someone was talking down a long hall. But as things began to clear she realized, she was on a bed of straw. She opened her eyes, and almost screamed. She was in a human's hut! "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE???!!!" She yelled, but quickly recoiled grasping her throat that was now burning with pain.

"Relax young one" It was an old woman with a patch over her left eye. She seemed to be the only one in the hut. She came closer to Kaniji with a bowl of strange green creme.

"Who are you? Where am I???!!" Kaniji began to panic. from the flap over the door she could tell it was night already, she began to wonder how long she had ben out. The old woman sighed.

"I am Kiadie, and ye are in my hut. Ye were brought to me by Inuyasha, unconcious. That was this afternoon." Kiadie stated simply. She tried to smear the creme on Kaniji's side where the gash had been made but, Kaniji would not hold still.

"Where is Inuyasha then?!" Kaniji questioned suspiciously, she did not trust humans, and this one made no exception. Kiadie finaly was able to get Kaniji to hold still long enough to spread the goop on her side. Kaniji cringed, the creme burned and stung at her fresh wound.

"He is out gathering food, and will return for ye shortly" Kiadie said as she returned to the fire. Kaniji was panicked at this point and did the only thing she knew how, she howled. Loud and strong. Kiadie put her palms to her ears, and gritted her teeth at the cry comming from her current patient. Kaniji finally ran out of breath and ended her plea. Painting she smiled, and listined, somewhere, far off in the distance, a howl pentraited the calmness of the night. A return. She looked to Kiadie, the slime played bigger across her face.

"They're comming."
