[ P - Pre-Teen ]
She could feel his eyes on her, even as she ran. Ran as hard as she could, her breath comming in ragged gasps as she cried, her feet pounding against the earth. "Leave me alone!" she screamed. Her breathing became painful, and she turned a corner, in efforts to evade her pursuer. She lost her footing, and fell onto her back. "Leave me alone," she gasped, in a choked whisper as the man knelt down beside her, his crimson eyes blazing in the darkness.
"You are mine, Higurashi." he whispered, his cold hand reaching out for her face.
"I shall make you mine."

Kagome Higurashi twisted in the tangled mass of sheets on her futon. Sitting up, her breathing deep, she looked around her darkened room with wide eyes. Turning on the bed, she kicked the covers off of herself, and snatched her alarm clock beside her bed on the bedside table. Squinting in the darkness, she could see the clock showed '4:15', AM.
Running a hand through her hair, Kagome sighed, and swung her legs over the side of the bed.
As she grabbed a towel slung over the back of her armchair in her bedroom, she leaned against the wall. Her body was trembling, and she felt unsteady,. As if she had been running for a long amount of time.
"It was just a dream, Kagome." She scolded herself, before stepping into the bathroom. Locking the door behind her, she stripped down and turned on the shower. The warm water calmed her some, as she stood under the shower, thinking of what the dream could of meant.
I'm loosing sleep over this, she thought, angry with herself. It's just a dream.
She turned the shower off, and grabbed the shampoo. After scrubbing the shampoo hard into her skull, and after she had lathered up her hair, she turned the shower on, and rinsed it all out.
She would have to tell someone about her nightmare. But who would listen?
Kaede might listen to me, she thought, as she applied conditinor to her hair.
But she might just thinkg it's stress related, she added, frowning as she rinsed out her hair. Turning the shower off, she snatched her towel that was lying by the sink, and wrapped it around her breasts, tieing it by her arm. It was a soft pink, and it had always comforted her, with the way it felt. It fell down to just above the knees, and as she sat down on the toilet seat to dry off her feet, she heard foosteps comming up the hall.
Her head snapped up, and she paused her actions, straining to listen.
After a moment, a familiar voice sounded through the door. "Kagome? Is that you?"
"..Uh, yeah. Just a second." She pulled her hair up into a sloppy ponytail, and reached for the door. Yanking it open, she rubbed her eyes, shifted her weight.
"Why are you up so early?" Her mother asked, looking concerned.
"I couldn't sleep," she replied bluntly. "So I just figured I'd have a shower."
Her mother's brow furrowed, and she stepped forward. She brought her hand to Kagome's forhead, and and sighed. "I'm worried about you, Kagome." she said, quietly before turning around, to head back to her room. "You don't even have school today."
