Chapter 9: Rin a miko? Kohaku Betrothed

 

Rin woke up against a warm torso, with a hand on her back, Rin looked up at Sesshomaru as he was still undisturbed from his slumber, and Rin looked at the alarm clock which read 8:08am. It did feel warm and safe to be sleeping next to Sesshomaru even though he was once an enemy to Rin that didn't consider Rin to be his enemy.

 

Rin slowly un lifted his arm around her and snuck out of bed into the bathroom, she looked at her eye make-up, it was smudged, she turned around to see if Sesshomaru was still asleep, he seemed to be asleep at least.

She decided to get dressed, she crept passed Sesshomaru upstairs to her suit case and then got out a purple tank and some black track suit pants that said sexy on the back in baby pink curse writing. After going back to the bathroom and sneaking passed Sesshomaru she took a shower, dried and got dressed followed by putting on some mascara and some blue eye liner.

Sesshomaru still dreaming about that woman, the miko woman engulfed in purple light, he loved her…though something different happened in the dream, himself grasped her waist lovingly and in the most careful caring way from behind and pulled her in, she turned her head and looked up at Sesshomaru as he planted a kiss on her soft lips.

 

“Sesshomaru you found me, you needn't to search any more for me, all because you found me” The miko said so softly and lovingly.

 

“Rin is the miko in my dreams?” Sesshomaru said out loud.

 

“Yes” the miko said lovingly “Wake up Sesshomaru” the miko said softly.

 

“What?”

 

“Wake up Sesshomaru” the miko said a little louder sounding a bit like Rin.

“Hey Sesshomaru wake up!” Rin attempted to wake him up because breakfast was ready.

 

Sesshomaru jerked awake and sat up as he saw Rin fully dressed and sitting beside him.

 

“Breakfast is ready” Rin said thoughtfully.

 

“Oh…I-“

 

“Sesshomaru? Where you just talking in your sleep? Bad dream?” Rin was worried a little.

 

“No, it wasn't a bad dream…nothing like that” he said getting up. “So Rin what did you cook?”

 

“Well come on and I'll show you” Rin grabbed Sesshomaru's arm and led him into the kitchen and to the kitchen table.

 

Sesshomaru sat down trying to get his head straight over the miko dream he just had.

 

Rin cooked some sausages, bacon, toast and some eggs, she made sure to give Sesshomaru heaps since demons have almost endless pits for stomachs and her a normal sized plate.

 

“Rin?” Sesshomaru asked almost seriously.

 

“Hmm?”

 

“Are you a miko?” asked Sesshomaru looking her in the eye.

 

“Uh yeah but I'm dormant, I only use my powers if someone I love or a friend is in a matter of like and death” Rin explained.

 

“So you are a miko?” Sesshomaru wanted to register this right.

 

“Yup” Rin nodded happily.

 

The thing with mikos is there are active mikos and there are dormant mikos, dormant mikos are like mikos only can use their powers when in trouble, some one they love in a matter of life and death and active mikos can use their powers anytime but not for greed purposes. For Rin to become an active miko she would have to do special miko training and to do that Rin would have to learn fluent kaiyou.

 

“Rin? Have you ever had to protect some one by using your miko powers?” asked Sesshomaru.

 

“Yeah once, when me and Kagome were at school, I think it happened a bit after you graduated, k, me and Kagome were behind the school drinking when this man dressed in black grabbed Kagome by the neck and I mean seriously choking her, then I went all miko like and I blasted the hell out of him and I mean latterly almost killed him” Rin explained.

 

“So you only found out not long ago?” Sesshomaru took a bit of his sausage.

 

“Yeah and Kagome said I was wearing a purple kimono, my hair was long, I was surrounded by a purpleish light and my eyes were slightly purple, it's kinda weird and all `cause I don't remember changing clothes” Rin explained.

 

“That's exactly what was in my…” Sesshomaru stopped mid sentence.

 

“In your what?” Rin asked

 

“Dream” Sesshomaru looked down.

 

“Dream?”

 

“I've always been having this dream for a long time, about this woman and she looks as you just described just now” Sesshomaru explained.

 

“So you have been dreaming about…me?” Rin asked trying to register.

 

“Yes, but I never knew it was you” Sesshomaru said with a tint of happiness in his voice.

 

“Oh…” Rin said not believing what she heard.

 

“Well after I get dressed we shall start our studies”

 

“Yes Sesshomaru” Rin said almost obediently.

 

After everything that included being ready for the day was done Sesshomaru sat down with Rin to do her studies.

 

“We will spend the majority of the day learning Kaiyou and then finish off with a maths test”

 

“Right ok”

 

As Sesshomaru taught Rin listened and learned but she would sometimes slack off just like now.

 

Rin was day dreaming while Sesshomaru was explaining how the vowels and how the sentences worked.

 

“Rin did you observe all that?”

 

“Wha- oh yeah…kinda”

 

Rin was looking at her exercise book just letting the words run though her head.

 

“Rin look at me” Sesshomaru said sternly and Rin did exactly that.

 

“I want you to concentrate on this, do not slack or day dream, do you understand?”

 

“Yes Sesshomaru”

 

Rin was a more focused than before, she now learnt the entire Kaiyou alphabet and was able to write them neatly.

 

“Now we will focus on words and then build up to proper sentences, keep focused Rin” he said to Rin who was about to day dream.

 

“Oh-yeah”

 

There was still a bit to go of this L.O.T.J (Languages other than Japanese) as they learnt words Sesshomaru congratulated Rin by saying good work and stuff like that.

 

Then there was a knock on the door…

 

“Wait there, I will get it” Sesshomaru got up to get it.

 

“Ok”

 

There could be voices heard in fluent Kaiyou starting at the front door and then gradually making their way to where the study class was being held. It turned out to be Sesshomaru's father Inunotashio with his mate Izayoi.

 

“Well Rin, I am glad you are doing your studies, from what I have heard you are going very well” He seemed very kind as he wife stood close to him.

 

“Yes that's right” Rin said getting up in attempt to meet the woman that clung to is arm shyly.

 

“Hello, what's your name” she asked the woman a little taller than herself.

 

“…hello” the woman said, she was very pretty but seemed very shy.

 

“This is Izayoi, my mate, forgive her, she is very shy around people she doesn't know” Inunotashio explained and then turned to Izayoi who was up close to him.

 

“Izayoi this is the one I've been telling you about, you know, Rin” Inunotashio explained.

 

“Yes, I know now” She looked up at him as he looked down at her.

 

“The main reason we came here was to help you with your Kaiyou studies, so sit down and keep on studying” he explained.

 

Rin sat down like she was told, yes she had to learn this youkai language, youkai spoke it back in ancient times and now, it is mainly a language spoken among youkai, but in Rin's case if you belonged to a youkai, you had to learn the language.

 

After a while Rin knew some more phases and some more words, she practiced her Kaiyou characters and learnt about the special rules about them. It was extremely hard to learn but she did it bit by bit with one lunch break.

 

It took the majority of the day, but now Rin knew a bit.

 

“It has been a pleasure helping you” Inunotashio smiled as Izayoi smiled to as they left out the front door.

 

“Rin sit back down and we can focus on a maths test” Rin did just that as Sesshomaru patted her backside making her blush and suddenly quickly get back to her seat, Sesshomaru chuckled as he sat next to her.

 

He started the same as last time, as he corrected she got better until…

 

“Tomorrow you will learn skills that are much more complex than the ones you have been doing” he said proudly as he put a hand on her shoulder. It was the end of the day.

 

“Thank you Sesshomaru” Rin said so warmly.

 

Once again it hit him…Rin, she reminded him of his mother, she made him feel warm inside, he liked this feeling a lot…

 

Sesshomaru didn't have the best childhood, his mother died when he was just 5 and his father found love when he was 6. He and his mother were very close, until she died and he didn't really like the idea of a step mother but he got used to it.

 

“I'll teach you to cook, come in the kitchen with me” Sesshomaru said going into the kitchen.

 

“First you must always wash your hands before you cook” He demonstrated by doing that.

 

“K” Rin obeyed and went straight after Sesshomaru.

 

“You get out what you need like utensils, and dry and wet ingredients, we are going to make…paster with mince meat, and vegetables” he explained as he waited for Rin to finish washing up.

 

He and Rin went into the cupboard, Sesshomaru put an arm around Rin's waist and pulled her closer with one arm and with the other got the sauce, onion and then led Rin out.

 

He put all the ingredients on the table and left Rin to them, he then got the meat out of the freezer “Now pay close attention to me as I demonstrate; take the meat out of the packet, put it on a plate and put it in the microwave for 10 minutes” he demonstrated

 

“Haha demon-strate?” Rin tried to make a joke.

 

“Haha very funny Rin” Sesshomaru coked an eyebrow. “Now while that's defrosting you chop up your onion, start with the onion” He handed Rin a sharp knife, chopping board and an onion.

 

Rin set the onion down right in the middle and she had a killer look on her face “Hehe die onion!” Rin screamed out as she sliced the onion in half.

 

Sesshomaru sweat dropped anime style “Here Rin let me help you” He plucked the knife out of Rin's hand and pealed off the skin and set own the two halves of onion on the chopping board in front of Rin.

 

He went behind her and put the knife in her hand, he out his hand over hers and started to chop for her, guiding her in the most caring way “Like this, chop slowly and carefully” he whispered in her ear, his hot breath on her ear made her blush.

 

When the onion was chopped Sesshomaru got out a frying pan while he instructed Rin to put in some olive oil in and then stir until it's brown.

After browning the meat Sesshomaru put the tinned tomatoes and the spaghetti source in and then instructed Rin to stir it.

After a while he patted Rin on the shoulder for good measure as he took over “That will be enough stirring for now, just leave it to simmer, we'll start with the pasta”

 

“Rin go to the cupboard and get the pasta” Sesshomaru instructed as he got out the pot filling it half way and then putting it on the hot stove.

 

“K” Rin said bending down and trying to find the pasta.

 

Little did Rin know Sesshomaru was taking a peak at her backside, Rin finally found it, when she looked at Sesshomaru he had a dreamy look on his face and Rin knew exactly what he was looking at.

 

“Perve” she muttered under her breath as she handed him the pasta.

 

Sesshomaru took the pasta rather quickly and turned around blushing so that Rin didn't see. Sesshomaru added the pasta into the boiling water and put the lid on.

 

“Wait until that is cooked, for now we'll have some `us' time” He said scooping up a blushing Rin bridal style and taking her to the lounge room.

 

He laid her down on the couch, after getting on top of her he instantly devoured her mouth in the most passionate, soft loving way. His lips felt warm and soft pushed against hers, her full red lips kissed back just as lovingly as she let out little moans that made him and her aroused. Yes he had tamed her, yes he had made her obedient, yes she wanted him as did he want her and yes they were together at last. This felt so right and even for Rin as she added in some tongue to see his reaction, only to find his tongue battling it out with hers which he easily won but then the tongues just played together.

 

After a while he decided it was time to check the pasta and see how everything else was going and Rin whined in annoyance.

 

“Patient dearest, you'll have your way tonight in bed, we have guests coming to the house tomorrow” Sesshomaru said in a slight chuckled as Rin followed him to the kitchen. “Get the drainer out and we'll drain out the pasta” Rin obeyed and searched the cupboards for the drainer and put it in the sink and Sesshomaru drained it out.

 

“Do I get the bowls out?” asked Rin.

 

“Yes Rin, thank you” Sesshomaru said with soft eyes.

 

“Now put two scoops of pasta on each dish” Sesshomaru instructed.

 

Rin did just that and then Sesshomaru put on the source and Rin got out a fork for her and Sesshomaru and put the dishes they cooked with love at the table.

Sesshomaru and Rin sat at the table and they looked at each other with soft loving eyes and then began eating.

Kohaku was in his room listening to green day in his room, the speakers blasting beyond the room it was being played in.

There was a knock on the door, Kohaku sighed and rolled his eyes as he pressed pause on his stereo as his mother entered “Kohaku sweetie? I'd like you to meet somebody…please?” his mother pleaded a little.

 

“Fine, I'll come down” Kohaku sighed and rolled is eyes.

 

Sono Kohaku's mother had received a call from Mai about 3 and half weeks ago, Mai gave her some helpful advice, she gave her the number to call Inunotashio since she was in the very same situation as herself.

Inunotashio and Kagura were sitting at the kitchen table as Kohaku and his mother were coming down stairs to join them “So mum? Who's this ya want me to meet?” Kohaku asked cooly as he went down the stairs in baggy jeans and a red top that said `Fuck off' in white letters.

 

`Oh I just hope he can take this well' Sono thought as she went ahead and sat down at the kitchen table.

 

“Come on sweetheart, sit”

 

Kohaku rolled his eyes at the cute name that his mother gave him“ Mum how many fuckin' times have I told you not to call me those cuttie names” Kohaku said in frustration, only his anger to be re-directed to a new target. “You!” he sneered at Kagura. “What the fuck are you doing here bitch? When you transferred I thought you were gone for good” Kohaku averted her eyes to his mother who clearly didn't want another hurricane “Mum why the fuck did you let that slut in to our house?”

 

“Kohaku please” his mother cut his eyes to their guest before look pleadingly at her son. “Calm down. I've decided that you are going to marry Kagura Onigumo”

 

Kohaku was shocked but then he remembered something “Yeah right! In case you forgot I have a girlfriend”

 

“Honey, Rin is marr-“ she was cut off by stern voice.

 

“Kohaku, you are to be mated to Kagura Onigumo, weather you are going out with your girlfriend or not, besides Rin is taken by Sesshomaru, my son, your mother had promised you to her, don't think you can just disrespect” Inunotashio said straight out like a king commanding a servant.

 

“What!?” Kohaku said with shock.

 

“He will move in this Sunday?” Inunotashio checked if that was alright.

 

“Yes that's right” His mother was comfortable with it all.

 

“What?! Move where?” Kohaku was totally stunned.

 

“Into my house, you must behave and be submissive” Kagura said with a smirk turning to Kohaku

 

“And where the fuck is that?” Kohaku was just like Rin.

 

“You'll see” Kagura said with a smirk. “And you do not swear”

 

“Piss off I swear whenever I want, I don't want some wench bossing me around” Kohaku said leaning back in his chair with his hands on his neck.

 

“Kohaku, stop disrespecting Kagura!” Inunotashio said making his point.

 

“Fuck off dog” Kohaku said still chilling.

 

“Ok that's it” Kagura said standing up and slamming her hands on the table.

 

“Finally” Kohaku thought she had given up on him.

 

“You! Come with me” Kagura said as if she were a strict mother and grabbed Kohaku's arm.

 

“H-hey what are you doing?!” Kohaku tried to pull back his arm but failed “Shit…your strong” Kohaku said giving in as he was pulled into the next room.

 

“Thank you” she pushed him up against the wall with her hands firmly on his shoulders shocking him, she jerked him around and started to whack his arse 6 hard, non-kinky times, like a mother punishing her child totally shocking Kohaku. Kagura then put a hand on his back and put her head to his ear “behave Kohaku, come sit” her hot breath played along his ear and neck.

 

Kohaku felt embarrassed, shocked…and humble for the first time in his life that didn't have anything to do with physical pain, his mother had never thought to do something like that, his father died just after her was born.

 

Kagura took him softly by the hand and then parted when they sat next to each other.

 

“So he will move into Kagura's house in 3 days?” Inunotashio finalized as he wrote down on a form.

 

Kohaku just couldn't believe what was happening and he was going to be Kagura's mate?

 

“I have to fuck this wench?” Kohaku whined.

 

“Your being disrespectful Kohaku” Kagura pointed out with dignity and class.

 

“Fuck up will ya?” Kohaku spat back.

 

“You will behave when you move into my house” Kagura smirked.

 

“You wish” Kohaku narrowed his eyes.

 

“And it is a wish that will come true” Kagura smirked.

 

“Kohaku please, calm down” hoping there was not going to be another round of fighting.

 

“Kohaku!” Inunotashio let out a growl and then turned back to Sono in a calm collective way “I think it's best if we make the arrangements for tonight”

 

“Yes, I think it will be for the better” Sono said looking at her son with his jaw dropped.

 

“So go and pack your stuff” Kagura said in a caring way.

 

“No, no fucking way” Kohaku got out of his chair and backed away until he got a metre away.

 

There could be a door heard opening and then slammed shut and out the window there could be a rebel boy seen running up the street.

 

“Sono, why don't you pack up some of his clothes and put them in my car. I'll retrieve him” Kagura said getting up.

 

She was wearing a black track suit and runners because she knew she had to do some running.

 

She set off in a black flash chasing after Kohaku, she eventually caught up to him picking him up bridal style and once again Kohaku was very shocked to see this.

When they got to the nature strip of Kohaku's house, Kagura dropped him on the ground completely smacking the air out of his throat as he was trying to register what was happening.

 

Kagura pulled two black beaded bracelets out of her pocket, she put on each wrist as she said the magic words “clamp” she said proudly.

 

(A/N: The bracelets look just like Inuyasha's sit necklace but smaller)

 

The two bracelets acted as handcuffs as his mother put in his bags of clothes in the front seat, Kagura lifted him bridal style and put him in the back seat of her car bending over to strap him in, he held his throat as he squirmed, but he couldn't move his hands or arms, what the hell was bracelet doing to him?

 

“Now sit quietly deer” Kagura kissed on him on the fore head completely surprising him and then strapped him in.

 

“No, what the hell is this thing doing to my arms, I can't move them!” Kohaku struggled to get free.

 

“It's a spell, when you have both of them on, you can't move your arms” she said calmly as if he were a 4 year old. “Kohaku it's for your own good” Kagura started up the car.

Rin was on the internet looking at different music videos on youtube while Sesshomaru was on the couch watching the youkai news which was all in Kaiyou.

Rin was looking around and she found one of her and Kohaku, they were filming Sesshomaru, they played some pranks on him; they put all this mouldy milk in his locker, he opened it and since he had a sensitive nose he totally puked, blocked his nose and ran off, he did notice Rin and Kohaku and Rin filming, they did one to the teacher, the old tack on the chair, they hid the camera somewhere in the class and then collected it when the classroom was deserted.

 

Rin cried, when she remembered Kohaku and the things they used to get up to, she watched one where Kohaku was filming a school fight that was between Rin and this preppy bitch. Rin obviously won.

 

The memories really flowed back to her and so did the scent of tears running down her face.

 

She sniffed when a clawed hand made it to her shoulder “Rin, I smell tears, what's the matter?” he dipped his head to rest on her shoulder.

“Nothing” Rin tried to keep her voice calm and controlled but it failed and plus there's the fact that there's the scent of tears around.

 

“It doesn't sound like nothing” His hot breath hit her neck making her shiver.

 

He went around to her side and picked her up bridal style and then settling himself on the couch with an upset Miko in his arms, he repositioned her so that her head lay side ways where his heart beat, he turned off the TV and put his arms around her, she put her arms around his torso and he dipped his head down to her ear along with a curtain of silver hair covering her head.

 

“Just cry Rin, let it out” he put his claw under her shirt to caress and circle her back and he made circles with his claws or rubbing her back in a circular motion. “Don't be afraid”

 

Rin finally let out her cries of sadness, Rin cried out as she heard the beat of Sesshomaru's heart, she cried loud as Sesshomaru said comforting things in her ears.

 

He grasped her chin softly and tilted it up slowly to face him and his honey liquid eyes “Don't be afraid to embrace me when you feel you need comfort” Sesshomaru said in the softest caring way and then kissing her on the fore head, he then put his hand on the back of her head and pushed it slowly into his chest. “For now, just sleep” he said rubbing her back.

 

“Ok” Rin said in his shirt.

 

“That's it Rin” he ran his fingers through her silky chocolate hair.

Kagura had just driven into Osaka, where all the demons lived and it was a few blocks away from where Sesshomaru and Rin lived.

She looked in the revision mirror to make sure Kohaku was ok; he was sitting there frowning and cursing under his breath.

 

Kagura pulled into her drive way of her big two story house, she went around to Kohaku's side, opened his door, she picked him up bridal style and carried him into the house kicking open the door, headed towards the couch with Kohaku still struggling to get out.

 

She sat down with him in her arms and then laid him down in a position that his head rested on her lap and the rest of him lay on the couch “Kohaku just relax” Kagura said stroking his cheek with her soft hands. “I understand that you don't want to be here child, but this is all for your own good” she explained with the softest, loving, caring tone of voice.

 

When the word child left her mouth Kohaku started trying to get out of Kagura's lap and somehow run out the door “Easy now Kohaku” as those words left her full red lips as she looked over him with a loving look.

 

“Wha!? Why are you looking at me like that?!” Kohaku was going crazy trying to struggle away.

 

“Shhhh Kohaku, just sleep for now, your eyes look veeery weary and you look as though you haven't had enough sleep” she managed to keep him intact while soft words escaped her soft lips.

 

`Well I guess the soft talk isn't going to work on him, poor guy, I'll just have to try the Kaiyou lullaby'

 

Something non-understandable started coming out of Kagura's lips, the words were soft and they made him calm down instantly “What…I don't…no…” as he stared into his eyes singing that soft youkai lullaby shaking her head slowly telling him not to speak or do anything and just rest.

 

Kohaku's eye's started to get heaving as she sung to him stoking his cheek or running her soft fingers though his hair in a calming way.

The last thing Kohaku could see before he went into his slumber was Kagura's face coming closer to his and then feeling her soft warm lips on his fore head and then heard her say “Good night, hush now” she whispered and with that he went deep into his sleep.

 

 

That's the end of that chapter, there will be more! I'm not how I'm going to end this one, because I'm making this up as I go along, so stay tuned.

There will be more on Kohaku and Kagura, I decided to do this because I wanted the woman in charge rather than the man.
