Here it is, the epilogue to Begging for Mercy, thank you for sticking with the fanfiction for as long as you have and everyone that has enjoyed it and reviewed.

This was the best response I have ever received especially since it was my first posted fanfic.

Since I have finished this fanfic, I will begin writing Perfect Servant and due to a request on FF.Net from a reviewer I will also be writing one of the other Sess/Kag plots that I had thought about which will be Harder to Breathe, so be expecting 2 fanfics instead of one!

6 years later:

“Mommy!” a young girl yelled as she ran into her mother's room.

“Yes, Miki,” Kagome said with a warm smile as she turned to her four year old running at her full speed and clinging onto her knees. She could remember when she told her mother about her being pregnant. She had called her and asked to have a day with her to catch up. The miko had surprised her mother by meeting her at the mall in front of a store for baby clothes and items. Her mother had stared at her in shock and then grinned so wide, it had been a glorious site to see. The rest of the evening had been them talking about baby clothes and baby names and such. 

“Haru and Seiji stole my dollie,” the baby inu whined. Miki was the spitting image of her father with silver hair and golden eyes, she was 4.

“Mom! She's lying!” twin voices said as they too ran into the room. Both Haru and Seiji had black hair with gold eyes as well, they were both 6.

“Then what's hidden behind your back, Seiji,” Kagome smiled softly, watching the young boy blush and look around. “Nothing!” he said quickly, Kagome gave him a look and then he pouted, taking Miki's doll from behind his back and handing it to his little sister. “Good boy,” she said with a warm smile.

“Now, go get ready for the party,” she told all three of her children, watching them scamper off to get ready. The miko sighed contently and waddled towards Sesshomaru's study. Knocking, she heard him say enter and then she walked inside. “Hey honey,” she said, going to him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Letting out a squeak as she was pulled into his lap, she giggled and leaned against him. “What were they running to you about this time?” he asked, his hand going to the swell of her belly where their fourth child lay. “Haru and Seiji took Miki's doll,” she said with a laugh. “They do that every day,” the demon lord chuckled and rubbed her stomach.

“She's so protective of that doll because daddy brought it home for her,” Kagome teased, nuzzling her mate's neck and smiling contently as he rubbed her stomach, it always felt good when he did that.

“Inuyasha said he and Kikyo will be here momentarily, they had to find a sitter for their kids” Sesshomaru said. Kagome nodded, “Shippo and Natsume?” she asked.

“They're on their way, Koga and Ayame are already here with their kids, Natsume doesn't trust baby sitters and she's already close to being due with her recent pregnancy,” Sesshomaru said, “don't mess with a pregnant woman, especially when it comes to their kids,” Kagome stated, giving him a look. “Oh, I know, that's just bad news,” he chuckled and kissed his mate.

Kagome grinned, kissing him back, “Mishu and Lisaya are down with Koga and Ayame but Kisoka and Kitani said they couldn't make it,” he finished with their guest list. “Kitani still doesn't like me, Kisoka has warmed up and he's friendly now but the female neko still doesn't want to be around me,” Kagome sighed before shrugging her shoulders.

“I'm hoping Inuyasha doesn't get in a fight with Koga like he did last year because Koga's son, Atsushi has a thing for his daughter Kimiko,” she giggled and shook her head, “I don't think Inuyasha will ever accept that but at least you accepted an arrange union between Miki and Daichi, they're already best friends,” Sesshomaru said.

Kagome scrunched her nose, “it took a lot of badgering by Ayame and Koga to get me to agree to it and a lot of coaxing by you; but I can tell that Miki already likes him even though she is still in the `boys have cooties' stage,” she laughed lightly.

“I suppose we should make sure the pups are ready and that we go meet the guests that are currently here,” The demon lord stated, picking up his mate and standing up before setting her back down on her feet.

“Mom, Jii-chan, Souta and his fiancé are on their way here,” Kagome informed him, “excellent, I know you've been wanting to meet Souta's intended,” Sesshomaru said, walking towards the ballroom where everyone was waiting for them.

“Yes, if she is anything like his previous girlfriend, I will not be happy,” Kagome growled, a frown set on her lips. The demon lord smiled softly, his mate was still very protective over her family, a quality he would always love about her.

He nuzzled her head, grabbing the handle to the ballroom and got ready to push it open. “Haru, Seiji and Miki are already inside,” he informed Kagome, sensing their scents inside. “Good, they actually listened for once,” she laughed.

Life was good; Kagome couldn't have it any other way. Being mated to Sesshomaru with three children and their fourth on the way, she was satisfied.
