Chapter Three
‘How dare you come back to this shrine, this family, in such a shameless state?”

“Just take that thing back with you through the well. “

“GET OUT! “ Kagome’s family looked at her with hateful eyes as she stood there crying. She held something against her chest and turned only to run into the street. A large bus was passing by and Kagome screamed as it sped toward her.

Kagome screamed waking up and sobbed. They others about her jumped up from their sleep. Inu Yasha held her close.
“Kagome what happened, Kagome,” She just sniffled and cried some more. “Kag, tell me what happened, was it a nightmare?” she just shook her head hiccupping. Shippo hugged her gently noticing Inu Yasha’s glare.
“Kagome you can tell me, you know I always tell you about my night scares maybe you can tell me.”
“Thanks a bunch Shippo, but I honestly don’t want to add to your nightmares. I will be okay really. “She climbed from Inu Yashas’ lap and moved toward the trees. “I’m going to get some fresh air Kay?”
“I’ll follow you; it’s the middle of the night.”
“Um, I guess I should just say yes, seeing how whenever I go out you end up following me anyway.”
“Hell yeah, did you think that I’d let my shard detector get hurt or killed?” Kagome turned toward him with anger in her eyes.
“Inu Yasha-” She growled. The others waited for that word to come from her lips, but instead, he turned and stomped away. ‘When will he learn? I am not just here for his jewel, I am here for my friends. I do not care what anyone says about me, I am not a look-a-like nor am I a damn reflection. Kami If I had a dollar for every single time I said that, I’d be rich.’ Inu Yasha followed slowly behind and tried to read the expressions on her face. Finding that he was not able to he jumped in front of her.
“Maybe you want to tell me what happened in your dream?”
“No, it’s fine.”
“Are you sure, you looked very scared about something.”
“I will be fine, just night scare right? Besides why do you even care?”
“Don’t start with that crap again Kagome. Kikyo is neither my mate nor my intended. Why are you so bothered and angry all the time? What happen to my Kagome?”
“Since when was I you’re Kagome? All I ever was to you was Kikyo’s reincarnate or YOUR Shard detector and I’ve gotten tired of it.” She shouted. “I’m tired of being here for you and you end up going to Kikyo. I’m tired of the names, and I’m tired of not meaning anything to you.”
“Kagome,”
“Look, I have had a long night and I just want to get some air. I’ll be back and asleep in my bag soon.” Inu Yasha watched her walk away and his ears drooped.

“Miss Kagome isn’t it a little late for you to be out and walking around?”
“Not really, I couldn’t sleep and when I can’t I walk for while.” Kagome sat down in the clearing with Ginta and Hakkaku near the large fire and smiled. “What exactly are you two doing up and in these parts. I wasn’t expecting to run into friends.”
“Kouga finally decided to take break from all the travelling today. We stopped here and now he’s out getting some dinner.”
“Oh, I would have something for you guys but my pack is with Inu Yasha.”
“That’s okay; we’ll be fine when Kouga comes back.”
“He’s been acting very odd lately though.”
“He has? How come...?”
“We’ve been following Naraku’s trail. Kouga been stressed out over it and then after meeting up with Inu Yasha it was like it got even worse.”
“You don’t have to worry though Miss Kagome. There wasn’t a big fight.”
“You ran into Inu Yasha? I don’t remember seeing you guys.”
“Well that day Inu Yasha said you had been asleep on his back. It was pretty strange I’ll tell you.” Ginta said.
“Yeah, we asked if you guys ran Into Naraku and then Inu Yasha said no. Kouga glared at Inu Yasha then it looked like he was looking t you. Finally he scoffed and turned away.” Kagome froze.
‘Oh Kami that was the day Naraku and I- could Kouga smell me? Inu Yasha smelt it too, but he is hanyou and does not have the senses of a full-blooded demon. Could Kouga be able to smell what we did?’ Hakkaku shook Kagome’s shoulder lightly calling for her.
“Hello Kagome, are you okay? Hakkaku to Kagome,”
“Huh? Oh, I am sorry I was trying to remember. Inu Yasha didn’t say anything to me about that.”
“Well I guess we all have been a little anxious about the final battle coming up. Naraku has gotten strong. I just hope we’ll be all right.” Kagome nodded and quietly whispered.
“Could we maybe stop talking about Naraku for now?”
“How come, have you become paranoid about your lover?” Kagome jumped and turned. Kouga was behind her holding three large fish.
“My, my lover- Kouga what are you talking about?”
“Don’t play dumb Kagome; you know exactly what I’m talking about.”
“Kouga what’s going on?
“Yeah and why are you calling Naraku Kagome’s lover?”
“This is none of your business. Go get the fish cooked.” He tossed the fish and the two set to work. Kagome was pale as she heard Kouga go on. “You of all people,”
“Kouga I don’t-”
“Don’t play games Kagome! I saw you that night a week or so ago, making deals and lying under that bastard.”
“Please let me explain Kouga,”
“Just what are you here for Kagome? Are you here for Naraku, watching me and my pack for my jewel Shards?”
“NO! I could not, would never do that to you. Please let me explain, I am not his ally or working for him. ”
“I think his stench on you is enough for explanations.” He growled. Kagome touched his arm and the wolf pulled away.
“Don’t touch me,”
“Kouga I wanted my friends to live their lives the way it was meant to be, Miroku told me that he did not have that much time left until his wind tunnel sucked him in and I wanted to give Sango her brother back. If I used the jewel, I would have to give it something in return and if it means to take Sango’s life for her brother’s I could not do that. Naraku had Kohaku already along with his shards. He warned me that he wanted something in return and if I didn’t do as he asked then he’d kill them off.” She tried to calm her tears.
“That’s not all now is it Kagome? Show me what you really are- you are no longer human. Remove that stupid concealment.” Kagome nodded slowly and did as he asked. Hanging her head she heard him chuckle. “So, you’ve reduced yourself to an Inu Youkai whore.”
“Kouga,”
“Stop your upsetting Miss Kagome; don’t call her by those names!”
“You idiots, She is no longer our friend! She slept with Naraku and is now an ally to him. Are you that stupid that you cannot even see it? Look at her; she is no longer the Human woman Kagome, but now an Inu Youkai whore who’ll sleep with anything to get what she wants!” Kouga growled eyes flashing red. Kouga looked at Kagome and jumped at her, Luckily Hakkaku and Ginta were able to pull him away. They fought for a while and Kagome noticed Hakkaku fall unconscious. Next, she saw Kouga shoved Ginta against a tree and the wolf fell unconscious. Before Kouga could Sever Ginta’s head from His body, Kagome grabbed onto his arms.
“Stop it! You’re not mad at them your mad at me!” She felt a kick to her stomach and was on her back with a snarling wolf over her. Kouga ripped her shirt from her body and noticed the bite marks on her breast. He Laughed.
“His mark, tell me Kagome is he a good fuck?” She looked at him with lifeless teary eyes. “Did you enjoy what he did to you? Was it something like this?” Kouga pressed his claws against her sore hips drawing little blood and bit her neck… Kagome whimpered in pain. The wolf ignored her as His Youkai roared for the taste of blood. His fangs buried themselves into the bite on her breasts and Kagome sobbed harder trying to get him off. She felt a hand go near her private areas and froze.
“Kou-Kouga pleases s-stop. You’re hurting me!”
“Oh what’s wrong Kagome is Naraku the only one to fit Inside of you? Maybe I should change that.”
“Kouga don’t-” She begged… She heard the sound of fabric tear and began to sob.

Sesshomaru looked at his ward and ran his finger through her ebony hair. Jaken nearly gagged as he caught sight of it. Ah and UN growled softly as he heard something.
“What is it Ah UN, do you smell something?”
“My lord can you hear that! It’s screaming,” Sesshomaru twitched his ears as he heard a feminine like scream echo through the trees. Followed by a loud growling sound, the scent of blood came soon after. “Ack it smells disgusting, is someone being killed?”
“Stay here Jaken. I won’t be long.”
“My lord don’t you need my protection?”
“I believe your strength is needed here to protect Rin. I can handle it on my own.”
“Yes Sir!”

“Kouga-“She screamed in pain. Kouga snarled as he bit into her shoulder. Another spot that would be bleeding strongly just like the others: Her hips, breasts, lips and neck had all been bleeding from his claws and fangs. Bruises covering her face just, her cheeks, lips, similar where Naraku had hit her. Her eyes stung strongly from her tears and her throat was killing her from screaming at him so many times. She tried to use her purification powers and they helped a lot, but she received a beating for it, her face being prime example. She felt a strong aura coming closer and felt somewhat relieved. She thought it might have been Inu Yasha. Her body felt weak and her miko energies died out. Her eyes felt heavy and she nearly passed out until the flash of yellow struck against the wolf. The wolf turned and moved from the miko. Her body throbbed in pain and she heard his voice.
“Wolf,”
“Sesshomaru, what brings you here? Is it your turn to fuck Naraku’s whore.” Sesshomaru narrowed his gaze and turned to the bleeding onna. Her scent was familiar and her face resembled someone he met before. The picture of the miko passed through his mind. Grabbing the wolf by his throat Sesshomaru growled. Kouga laughed and looked at Kagome. Her blood is sweet even for a tainted wench. You should honestly try it.”
“Enough.” Sesshomaru tightened his hold around Kouga’s neck a d Kagome screamed.
“Stop-”
“Why do you want him to live? Has he not forced himself on you?”
“Yes, but that’s not Kouga, It’s his inner Youkai, Please” She cried. Sesshomaru looked up at the grinning wolf and knocked him out. Kagome watched Kouga’s form fall to the ground and looked up at the Inu Youkai. Her body was shaking and she smiled lightly giving a small thank you before passing out. Sesshomaru caught her and growled.
“I did not give you permission to pass out onna, wake up.” he shook her and growled. “Onna,” he looked at her body and noticed all the blood drying. Her breasts, badly abused and so were her sacred areas. Her hips had deep claws marks as did she shoulders and neck. He licked at the bloodied wounds helping them heal and close up. While in his mind, he wondered where the hanyou brother of his was. She whimpered in her sleep as he touched her hip. He felt a lump underneath and gently pulled it out. It was the Shikon fragment owned by Naraku, which he had seen so many times. Confusion clouded his mind, why did his brother’s miko have it. Kagome whimpered again as the hip bled. She felt something hot licking away at the wound and gasped. She noticed the silver hair and touched it gently.
“Inu Yasha...?”
“My brother is not here Miko. I am Sesshomaru,”
“Sesshomaru,” She asked hoarsely. “Why are you here?”
“A few minutes ago This Sesshomaru got rid of the wolf. Do you not remember?” Kagome looked over by Ginta and saw Kouga sleeping soundly. She felt his tongue against her shoulder and winced.
“That hurts, what are you doing?”
“I m trying to heal up your wounds; your body is not strong enough to do it on its own. Would you want This Sesshomaru to return you to my brother bloodied and nearly torn in half? Or would you prefer little scars or scratches?” Kagome breathed harder and pulled at Sesshomaru’s arms.
“Let me up, I need a spring or River or something!”
“Why?”
“Because Inu Yasha can’t know- He can’t know!” she tried climbing up on her own and Sesshomaru pulled her back down.
“Does it half to do with this?” He showed her the Shikon half. Kagome blanched. “The wolf was rambling on about you being a bed mate to Naraku,”
“Please don’t tell, Inu Yasha will be so mad and then Sango and Miroku will die and -”
“What are you rambling about?” he asked. Kagome could not answer she was so afraid. Sesshomaru sighed and lifted her into his arms.
“Where are you taking me?”
“Didn’t you ask this Sesshomaru to take you to a water source?” She nodded and hugged him close. Sesshomaru blinked at the woman, but ignored her. She stared at the fragment in her hand and mumbled. Sesshomaru looked down at her noticing that she was now a human. “Just what did you do Miko; did you place concealment around yourself?”
“Yes, please don’t tell I’m a Youkai.”
“I won’t.” he stopped at a spring and sat down with her in his lap. “Are you able to wash yourself? Will you be able to hold your body weight?” Kagome ignored him and crawled from his lap to the water. Sesshomaru saw her go under and jumped for her. She clung to his shirts hacking up water and breathed. “Miko if you can’t do this then allow this Sesshomaru to help.”
“NO, no, no! I can do it; I’ve been doing it myself for a while now, just let me go.”
“For awhile, how many times has this exactly happened?”
“For a week or t-two I think,” She hissed as the mineral water cleaned her wounds. Sesshomaru steadied her with a hand on her back.
“For two weeks?”
“I know I should be use to it but it hurts so much,” She mumbled. Sesshomaru looked at the girl in shock.
“You’ve been abused before,” He saw her nod slowly and growled. “Naraku correct-”
“I can explain Sesshomaru,” She answered scrubbing roughly at her arms. “I asked for my friends’ happiness and if I asked the jewel one of them might just have to die and Naraku offered to help-”
“Haven’t you learned that Naraku doesn’t keep his word?”
“He has, I know he has he told me yesterday that Miroku no longer has the wind tunnel anymore. In addition, Miroku has been saying his hand feels a lot better. Naraku asked for my body in exchange.” She muttered. “It was my choice and I don’t care any more what happens to me. No one would need me here any way, because Kikyo is here.
“You mean Inu Yasha wouldn’t need you. You love that half-breed?”
“Just because he’s a hanyou doesn’t mean that he’s worthless or weak. He is strong and has a huge heart! “Will you stop clawing at yourself?”

“I will wash you, and then I will lend you my outer Kimono to wear. I see that all your other belongings have been destroyed.”
“Kouga did it, he knew about Naraku and me.”

“I am actually looking for my brother.”
“How come, do you plan to fight him again? Because if you do!” Kagome pushed at him raising her miko. Sesshomaru watched her wobble and scoffed catching her.
“I’m not here to fight. I too seek to kill Naraku, and it would be better to travel with him wouldn’t it?”
“So you’re going to treat him nicely?”
“This Sesshomaru said nothing of the sort.” he washed her arms with his hand and Kagome looked at his missing arm and pressed her fingers against it focusing her strength. Sesshomaru felt her energy pulse through him. “Miko-”
“Done,” She held his hand up to his face and smiled. “Will you be able to keep my secret now? This is all I can do for now, but I promise to do more lately.” Sesshomaru looked at her angrily.
“This Sesshomaru was not going to say anything you should not have used your energy,” He felt her slouch against him and looked down. She passed out, the miko passed out!
‘Look what you’ve gotten us into Sesshomaru.’
‘Shut up!’

“He raped her, his inner demon had a lust for her blood and if I arrived any later she would be dead. She asked my not to kill off the wolf for that reason only, he is unconscious in the forest.” Inu Yasha looked at her face and held her close.
“Idiot, Kagome you idiot,” He mumbled. Sesshomaru raised a brow.
“Just what is it you feel for the miko little brother?”
“Why do you care?”
“Because of something the miko said to me. Do you love her?

“We are aiming towards the same goal and that is to defeat Naraku, I want this for Rin as well.”

Kouga looked at Kagome and jumped at her, Luckily Hakkaku and Ginta were able to pull him away. They fought for a while and Kagome noticed Hakkaku fall unconscious. Next, she saw Kouga shoved Ginta against a tree and the wolf fell unconscious. Before Kouga could Sever Ginta’s head from His body, Kagome grabbed onto his arms.
“Stop it! You’re not mad at them your mad at me!” She felt a kick to her stomach and was on her back with a snarling wolf over her. Kouga ripped her shirt from her body and noticed the bite marks on her breast. He Laughed.
“His mark, tell me Kagome is he a good fuck?” She looked at him with lifeless teary eyes. “Did you enjoy what he did to you? Was it something like this?” Kouga pressed his claws against her sore hips drawing little blood and bit her neck… Kagome whimpered in pain. The wolf ignored her as His Youkai roared for the taste of blood. His fangs buried themselves into the bite on her breasts and Kagome sobbed harder trying to get him off. She felt a hand go near her private areas and froze.
“Kou-Kouga pleases s-stop. You’re hurting me!”
“Oh what’s wrong Kagome is Naraku the only one to fit Inside of you? Maybe I should change that.”
“Kouga don’t-” She begged… She heard the sound of fabric tear and began to sob.

Sesshomaru looked at his ward and ran his finger through her ebony hair. Jaken nearly gagged as he caught sight of it. Ah and UN growled softly as he heard something.
“What is it Ah UN, do you smell something?”
“My lord can you hear that! It’s screaming,” Sesshomaru twitched his ears as he heard a feminine like scream echo through the trees. Followed by a loud growling sound, the scent of blood came soon after. “Ack it smells disgusting, is someone being killed?”
“Stay here Jaken. I won’t be long.”
“My lord don’t you need my protection?”
“I believe your strength is needed here to protect Rin. I can handle it on my own.”
“Yes Sir!”

“Kouga-“She screamed in pain. Kouga snarled as he bit into her shoulder. Another spot that would be bleeding strongly just like the others: Her hips, breasts, lips and neck had all been bleeding from his claws and fangs. Bruises covering her face just, her cheeks, lips, similar where Naraku had hit her. Her eyes stung strongly from her tears and her throat was killing her from screaming at him so many times. She tried to use her purification powers and they helped a lot, but she received a beating for it, her face being prime example. She felt a strong aura coming closer and felt somewhat relieved. She thought it might have been Inu Yasha. Her body felt weak and her miko energies died out. Her eyes felt heavy and she nearly passed out until the flash of yellow struck against the wolf. The wolf turned and moved from the miko. Her body throbbed in pain and she heard his voice.
“Wolf,”
“Sesshomaru, what brings you here? Is it your turn to fuck Naraku’s whore.” Sesshomaru narrowed his gaze and turned to the bleeding onna. Her scent was familiar and her face resembled someone he met before. The picture of the miko passed through his mind. Grabbing the wolf by his throat Sesshomaru growled. Kouga laughed and looked at Kagome. Her blood is sweet even for a tainted wench. You should honestly try it.”
“Enough.” Sesshomaru tightened his hold around Kouga’s neck a d Kagome screamed.
“Stop-”
“Why do you want him to live? Has he not forced himself on you?”
“Yes, but that’s not Kouga, It’s his inner Youkai, Please” She cried. Sesshomaru looked up at the grinning wolf and knocked him out. Kagome watched Kouga’s form fall to the ground and looked up at the Inu Youkai. Her body was shaking and she smiled lightly giving a small thank you before passing out. Sesshomaru caught her and growled.
“I did not give you permission to pass out onna, wake up.” he shook her and growled. “Onna,” he looked at her body and noticed all the blood drying. Her breasts, badly abused and so were her sacred areas. Her hips had deep claws marks as did she shoulders and neck. He licked at the bloodied wounds helping them heal and close up. While in his mind, he wondered where the hanyou brother of his was. She whimpered in her sleep as he touched her hip. He felt a lump underneath and gently pulled it out. It was the Shikon fragment owned by Naraku, which he had seen so many times. Confusion clouded his mind, why did his brother’s miko have it. Kagome whimpered again as the hip bled. She felt something hot licking away at the wound and gasped. She noticed the silver hair and touched it gently.
“Inu Yasha...?”
“My brother is not here Miko. I am Sesshomaru,”
“Sesshomaru,” She asked hoarsely. “Why are you here?”
“A few minutes ago This Sesshomaru got rid of the wolf. Do you not remember?” Kagome looked over by Ginta and saw Kouga sleeping soundly. She felt his tongue against her shoulder and winced.
“That hurts, what are you doing?”
“I m trying to heal up your wounds; your body is not strong enough to do it on its own. Would you want This Sesshomaru to return you to my brother bloodied and nearly torn in half? Or would you prefer little scars or scratches?” Kagome breathed harder and pulled at Sesshomaru’s arms.
“Let me up, I need a spring or River or something!”
“Why?”
“Because Inu Yasha can’t know- He can’t know!” she tried climbing up on her own and Sesshomaru pulled her back down.
“Does it half to do with this?” He showed her the Shikon half. Kagome blanched. “The wolf was rambling on about you being a bed mate to Naraku,”
“Please don’t tell, Inu Yasha will be so mad and then Sango and Miroku will die and -”
“What are you rambling about?” he asked. Kagome could not answer she was so afraid. Sesshomaru sighed and lifted her into his arms.
“Where are you taking me?”
“Didn’t you ask this Sesshomaru to take you to a water source?” She nodded and hugged him close. Sesshomaru blinked at the woman, but ignored her. She stared at the fragment in her hand and mumbled. Sesshomaru looked down at her noticing that she was now a human. “Just what did you do Miko; did you place concealment around yourself?”
“Yes, please don’t tell I’m a Youkai.”
“I won’t.” he stopped at a spring and sat down with her in his lap. “Are you able to wash yourself? Will you be able to hold your body weight?” Kagome ignored him and crawled from his lap to the water. Sesshomaru saw her go under and jumped for her. She clung to his shirts hacking up water and breathed. “Miko if you can’t do this then allow this Sesshomaru to help.”
“NO, no, no! I can do it; I’ve been doing it myself for a while now, just let me go.”
“For awhile, how many times has this exactly happened?”
“For a week or t-two I think,” She hissed as the mineral water cleaned her wounds. Sesshomaru steadied her with a hand on her back.
“For two weeks?”
“I know I should be use to it but it hurts so much,” She mumbled. Sesshomaru looked at the girl in shock.
“You’ve been abused before,” He saw her nod slowly and growled. “Naraku correct-”
“I can explain Sesshomaru,” She answered scrubbing roughly at her arms. “I asked for my friends’ happiness and if I asked the jewel one of them might just have to die and Naraku offered to help-”
“Haven’t you learned that Naraku doesn’t keep his word?”
“He has, I know he has he told me yesterday that Miroku no longer has the wind tunnel anymore. In addition, Miroku has been saying his hand feels a lot better. Naraku asked for my body in exchange.” She muttered. “It was my choice and I don’t care any more what happens to me. No one would need me here any way, because Kikyo is here.
“You mean Inu Yasha wouldn’t need you. You love that half-breed?”
“Just because he’s a hanyou doesn’t mean that he’s worthless or weak. He is strong and has a huge heart! You’d notice if you stuck with him!” She growled. “I love him and he has already chosen his intended mate. I’m five hundred years too late.” She whispered. Sesshomaru watched as blood started to drip into the water and pulled her hand away from her arms.
“Will you stop clawing at yourself?”
“I can’t it’s the only way I know to get clean. Let go,”
“I will wash you, and then I will lend you my outer Kimono to wear. I see that all your other belongings have been destroyed.”
“Kouga did it, he knew about Naraku and me.”
“This Sesshomaru figured that much out.”
“I’m sorry,”

“For letting you be a victim of my stupid sob story, and dragging you into my problems. The great lord of the west has his own problems to deal with correct?”
“I am actually looking for my brother.”
“How come, do you plan to fight him again? Because if you do!” Kagome pushed at him raising her miko. Sesshomaru watched her wobble and scoffed catching her.
“I’m not here to fight. I too seek to kill Naraku, and it would be better to travel with him wouldn’t it?”
“So you’re going to treat him nicely?”
“This Sesshomaru said nothing of the sort.” he washed her arms with his hand and Kagome looked at his missing arm and pressed her fingers against it focusing her strength. Sesshomaru felt her energy pulse through him. “Miko-”
“Done,” She held his hand up to his face and smiled. “Will you be able to keep my secret now? This is all I can do for now, but I promise to do more lately.” Sesshomaru looked at her angrily.
“This Sesshomaru was not going to say anything you should not have used your energy,” He felt her slouch against him and looked down. She passed out, the miko passed out!

Inu Yasha dug his claws into the tree and growled. ‘Damn that girl always pushing me. Does she understand yet! If she isn’t back in one second I’m going to pull her back here.’ A figure appeared behind the bushes and he jumped down.
“Damn it do you know how long I’ve waited for your sorry ass I swear that’s the last time I let you go on one of your stupid little walks.”
“I’m sorry Little Brother I won’t do it again.”
“Sesshomaru, why are you here? Where’s my Kagome?”
“She is right here. You need to learn how to protect her better.”
“You sick bastard what did you do to her!”
“This Sesshomaru did nothing, it was the wolf Kouga.”
“Kouga what did he do?” Inu Yasha took Kagome from his arms and looked her over. Her face was as it had been before and her neck had dried blood on her snowy skin. Sitting down he looked up at his brother. “What the hell did he do?”
“He raped her, his inner demon had a lust for her blood and if I arrived any later she would be dead. She asked my not to kill off the wolf for that reason only, he is unconscious in the forest.” Inu Yasha looked at her face and held her close.
“Idiot, Kagome you idiot,” He mumbled. Sesshomaru raised a brow.
“Just what is it you feel for the miko little brother?”
“Why do you care?”
“Because of something the miko said to me. Do you love her?
“Of course I fucking do you idiot! I would kill that wolf a hundred times over! “He cursed. Sesshomaru sat next to his brother.
“I guess it’s a good thing that I did not kill him, If I had, then you’d be after me.”
“Is Sesshomaru scared of his little hanyou brother?”
“No, but I have come to a decision.”
“And what’s this? Have you decided to kill me yet?” Sesshomaru glared at his brother.
“Your comebacks are annoying me. As I was saying, I want to follow your group, join it.”
“Why do you want to do that?”
“We are aiming towards the same goal and that is to defeat Naraku, I want this for Rin as well.”
“That human girl,”
“Yes, I believe it will do her some good to be around another woman. Kagome being that woman…”
“I’ll have to ask Kagome first, when I didn’t ask about Kikyo she got pretty ticked.”
“The miko already knows I told her about it as I cleaned the wounds. She will be tired for a few days.”
“Where else did he bite her everywhere?”
“Yes, her shoulders neck hips and she scared of areas was abused roughly. She might not be able to walk by herself; she refused my help tonight and nearly drowned herself.” Inu Yasha held her close to him looking at her face. Sesshomaru decided at this time to stand and leave.
“Just where are you going?”
“To my pack, I’ll be back soon with Rin and the others. I’ll leave you to tend to her.”
“Later then bastard;” He nodded to his brother and turned back to Kagome. He kissed her forehead and heard her whimper. Gently he lifted her into his arms and up in the tree looking over their camp. As he settled himself, he did not notice Kikyo’s mad glare.
