‘Mmm, I smell breakfast, oh and tea!’ Kagome’s mind giggled as she woke from her heavy sleep. Fluttering her eyes, open she smiled and breathe din the fresh scent of her sheets and rainforest…What! Kagome shot up and rubbed her eyes, something weighed heavily on her belly and her eyes looked down. ‘Kanaye, what are you doing here- I left him with Kaede,’
“He must have made his way here last night; he was all scared and cold.” Kagome froze and looked up at where the other voice came from. Inu Yasha stood by the door with a plate in hand and a glass of O.J. in the other. Kagome panicked and closed here eyes. He sat on the edge of the bed and spoke calmly. “You don’t have to use that spell, it’s too late to hide yourself. Even if you did, I already was told by your mom.” He saw her eyes well with tears.
“Inu Yasha, please don’t be mad, I can explain…please…”
“Feh,” He scoffed. Kagome bit her lip and blurted.
“I’ve… I’ve been with Naraku-”
“Feh, I said I already knew everything, how Naraku raped you and pupped you, damn it.” The hanyou set the plate on her table and gave her the glass, as he did so the tainted jewel came out of his shirt hanging just above the drink. “Your mother was going to give you tea, but she thought it would be better to get vitamins into your system.”
“My shards, Inu Yasha-” She reached for them and he pulled away. He held it up and stared at her.
“I want to know just how you got these Kags, the whole story, not just what you told your mom.”
“I,” Kagome sighed and sipped at her juice focusing more on that than the flustered hanyou. Even though he was trying to hold his anger in, she could still smell bits of the emotions that filtered through him. Inu Yasha looked at the jewel and sat on the floor looking directly at her,
“Kagome, tell me, just why did you get these jewels fragment from Naraku, how or why did he give them to you?”
“He offered them to me told me he wanted me to protect them. He also offered me the chance to look different than….Kikyo,” She whispered, catching his body tense. “HE was willing to give me that, only for an exchange that I’d keep his jewel shards protected. I didn’t think he was serious so I asked him to remove Miroku’s family curse and to return Sango’s brother to us, but he said that would cost more.’
“You-you sold yourself to him,” Inu Yasha breathed. Kagome stiffened at his voice, but continued.
“He played with my body and when he was done, he gave me a vile of blood, from a female Inu. I drank and in the morning-”
“I was chasing you, Kikyo saw you not some thieving demon, and I chased you out of camp?”
“I ran so far that I didn’t know that I past through a barrier, his, barrier. Naraku told me that you would find out about us if I did not mask my true form. He wanted me again, but I did not want to do what we had done before, so he, he forced himself on me. I told him that I did not want it to happen that way, not with him, not as my first- but he used your form. I told him not to do that and he asked why, but I told him not to use your body.” She glanced up at him and whimpered. “I won’t lie about enjoying some of what he’s done, but I knew it was wrong. I hated myself. It was wrong-but-but I let him.” Kagome saw the gold of his eyes spark and ducked her head low. “Some of his touches, felt, so wrong, but my body wouldn’t stop, it wouldn’t calm down, It was burning. I sobbed and clawed fighting to have him off, but he wouldn’t stop, I felt your aura near where we were and I grew so scared, I was so scared-” He finally hit his release and then gave me the spell, he warned me that If I fought him like that again, he’d kill you, Miroku, and Sango. Naraku left right after, and I had to wash up.”
“That was when I found you, you told me you had your cycle or whatever, but that does not gonna happen is it? Not for a Long while right?”
“I started having dreams, no nightmares of him and my parents. Momma saw that I was pregnant and she kicked me out of the house. She called me disgraceful and in some dreams a whore, I woke up that night in camp to walk and I met with Kouga, he smelled Naraku on me everywhere and was angry, so angry he took it out on Ginta, Hakkaku, and me. Luckily, Sesshomaru came to save us; he knocked Kouga out before anything could happen. I blacked out shortly after, but woke up and at first I thought he was you, and then he corrected me and reminded me that I could not go back to camp as I was. I nearly drowned myself in the spring, but he helped and I told him everything. I even said that I could do stuff for him so that he would keep my disgusting secret a secret.” She answered ignoring him.
“So, just how long have you been keeping this thing with that bastard Naraku a secret?”
“Awhile, weeks, until now-”
“Just how many times have you been with my brother then? Do you do him these ‘special’ favors you do for Naraku?”
“She has not been with THIS Sesshomaru you half breed idiot,”

“Lady Kaede, a demon has entered the village!”
“Be not a fool you ningen, move out of my way, I’ve come to see my brother and his ‘woman’”
“Careful, Sesshomaru-sama, I have yet to tell the village of your appearance here, I’m terribly sorry for the trouble.” Kaede answered. Sesshomaru had stood his ground baring his fangs slightly at the human male that stood in his way. Kaede and her sister came out of the hut with Shippo as Rin walked over to them.
“Hurry lady Kaede; stop him before he hurts my lord!”
“Aye, child, Aye, please, calm you, Sesshomaru-sama is a guest of mine, and older brother to Inu Yasha.”
“Yes, My Lady,” The man stared at Sesshomaru once more and turned away.
“Now what ails you Sesshomaru-sama?”
“My brother and Kagome, where are they?”
“Oh, Aye, they took a trip down the old well to Kagome’s home. Kagome ran away because of something Kikyo had done, and Inu Yasha once he returned followed-” Kaede shot her sister a dark glance and Kikyo shook it off. Sesshomaru saw that the dead priestess did not care and caught her by her neck.
“You dare harm what is rightfully under my protection, you fake little doll? If I see that the miko is hurt in any way or form, whatever dealt her, you will get back. Is this understood you clay pot?”
“Ngghhh-”
“Please my lord set her down, I am sure Kikyo will do no such thing again. No go if you can to the well and check on them.” Sesshomaru before she was finished had already left. Kikyo dropped to her back and coughed heavily. Kaede shook her head. “Kikyo I hope you understand that it’s wrong to pull your little schemes again? Maybe this time ye will learn.”
“You dare tell me your older sister what to do? Just whom do you think you are Kaede?”
“I am merely protecting you from the brothers of western lands. It is very obvious to me you have yet to understand the feelings they have for her.” Kikyo dug her nails into the dirt at this and sighed.
“Please dear sister Inu Yasha has nothing for this girl, I am sure of that-”

Sesshomaru stood on the edge of the well and stared into the darkness, ‘They traveled through this? How is that possible?”
“You know the only way through Kagome’s world is if you jump in-”
“This Sesshomaru did not ask you to follow him, why are you here fox?”
“Well it was kind of obvious you went here without knowing how the well works so I just stopped by to help.” Sesshomaru scoffed and jumped in. Shippo shielded his eyes as the well shimmered and shined with the blue light. When he looked down Sesshomaru was nowhere to be seen. “Hey, how come he gets to go?” Shippo jumped in and shut his eyes only to fall on his head. “OWWWW, OW, OW, OW, hey, that’s not fair, how come everyone, but me can go? I was see how Kagome’s doing!”

Sesshomaru gazed about him. “So this is the majestic well the old woman was talking of. Interesting, so the miko is not from here at all- Her story is far clearer to This Sesshomaru now,” He landed at the bottom and nearly collapsed. ‘Ugh this stench, it’s- it is disgusting. Where in Kami’s name is I?” He leaped out best to his ability and coughed holding his breath. “This stench is repulsive. Wait, isn’t that the scents of” Sesshomaru opened the doors stepping out and looked up at a large tree not far off from where he was. ‘Is that, my brother’s tree? Am I still in the forest of Inu Yasha- no this, this is far different.’ He stood by the tree and heard voices, on very angelic, but heartbroken voice. He also heard the low growling of his brother. Looking up he saw a window it was open. Swiftly the Tai jumped and landed inside to here his brother say the words:
“Just how many times have you been with my brother then? Do you so he these ‘special’ favors you do for Naraku?”
“She has not been with THIS Sesshomaru you half breed idiot,”

Kagome froze as Sesshomaru’s voice came from behind her.
“How dare you, are you calling the miko disloyal to you, why in Kami’s name would think of that Inu Yasha?”
“Shut the Hell up Sesshomaru obviously this conversation doesn’t need you. I am speaking to Kagome” Inu Yasha looked back at the sobbing girl. “Well, wench?”
“Inu Yasha she has gone through enough without you to add on to her problems. Why don’t you return to Kikyo?”
“Who the hells does Kikyo have to do with this!”
“You obviously missed the onna’s story then Inu Yasha, She said the only reason she did this was because you kept calling her Kikyo’s look alike. Which she clearly is not, YOU did this to her,”
“Like hell I did, Kagome chose to do this-this shit!” Kagome tried to break them up, but instead her mother burst in the room.
“What in the great gods is going on- Inu Yasha?” She looked at Sesshomaru and blinked. “Who are you,” Sesshomaru smelled the scent coming of off this woman and bowed his head.
“I am the great Lord Sesshomaru, elder brother of Inu Yasha, protector of Kagome, and ruler of the western lands.” He stated. Mrs.Higurashi’s eyes widened as he said all that.
“Lord, you mean as in Royalty, a prince?”
“Somewhat yes, I apologize for causing trouble.” He stated. Kagome blinked her teary eyes as he spoke. Even though she was completely broken, she still could not believe Sesshomaru talking to her mother like that. Inu Yasha sat at the edge of the bed looking at Kanaye.
“Oh my no, please excuse me, but what are you two arguing over.”
“We were not-”
“They were arguing about me and Naraku, and just-” Kagome hid her face from showing all of them her tears. She felt so weak, but why? Why couldn’t she fighting back? Mrs. Higurashi hugged her daughter and hummed silently.
“Kagome, honey you should get dressed. I have made an appointment for you. I need to know, okay just for my sake,”
“Momma…alright,”
“So you discussed about the coming pup?” Sesshomaru asked. Mrs. Higurashi looked up at him. Inu Yasha flinched and looked at Kagome who had even more tears. The stench of them was killing him, with each drop it was like a stab at his heart. He wanted to hold her, but her mother was in the way.
“A- a pup, you mean a, a baby?”
“Yes, that is what I mean.”
“Kagome you’re- that can’t be, I want the doctor to make sure, I’m going to grab some clothes of your fathers and start the car. Be right back.” Kagome didn’t move and her mother sprinted away. The only change was the amount of tears falling. Sesshomaru saw his brother jump at her and hold her tight. During all the commotion, Kanaye had returned from his world of dreams. Sesshomaru heard Inu Yasha mutter quiet apologies while kissing her hair and grumbled low. Kagome shook her head against him.
“St, stop, Inu Yasha-”
“Kagome,”
“Don’t touch my momma, get off!”
“Kanaye Shh, Inu Yasha is our friend, but please Inu Yasha, let go, I, I need to get ready.”
“Momma, can I come, I don’t want to be with him.”
“Kanaye I have to shower, sit with Sesshomaru if you want. I’ll ask mom to make you breakfast.” With that, Kagome left the room. Sesshomaru watched as his brother sat in her spot in the bed and glared back.
“Your problem is Sesshomaru?”
“You are ridiculous,”
“You’re an ass,”
“Boys, quiet down with the arguing now, I need you to dress in these, and hopefully they will fit you. And meet me down stairs.” Mrs.Higurashi Placed clothes In each of their hands before shutting the door. Inu Yasha shrugged and looked at his clothes, taking off his top he threw on the shirt and looked at Sesshomaru who examined his own clothes.
“You’re gonna have to remove your armor and crap while you’re here. Those are what you’ll wear.” Inu Yasha pulled his pants on and sat down Sesshomaru shrugged off his shirts, armor already gone and slipped on the black silk shirt. He removed his pants quickly and threw the others on. Looking in Kagome’s mirror, he smirked inwardly thinking he didn’t look that bad. Inu Yasha scoffed. “You look like one of those damn business men from here. Any way let’s go.”

Kagome sat patiently with her friends as they waited outside the office for Kagome’s mother. The three of them feeling uneasy, She watched as Kanaye slept in her lap peacefully while the others just watched the humans work. It was hard to explain things to both him and Sesshomaru, Inu Yasha’s constant sneering and mocking didn’t help either. Getting them all inside the car was a fun experience too. Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru actually agreed on something saying that the car wasn’t for them, but Kagome promised it was safe and had to hold both of their hands. She giggled softly startling Inu Yasha. “What got you all happy?”
“oh, um…nothing, nothing Inu Yasha,” She blushed. He eyed her and pressed his forehead against hers.
“It can’t be anything if you are blushing about it now. Can’t you tell me?”
“I- I was just remembering what we did in the car… How I had to protect tow big strong demons from a harmless, non-demon eating, mini van.”
“Feh I was not scared-”
“No doubt hiding what can easily be smelt hanyou-,” Sesshomaru stated.
“Oh yeah sure, Mr. -I am all mighty- you were reeking of fear too-”
“This Sesshomaru fears nothing; I was perhaps nervous, but not at all afraid.”
“Feh, hells- wait, did you just admit to being nervous!”
“You guys Shh, we are in a hospital, and yes Yasha Sessho did admit to being nervous. I think at this point we all are.” Kagome saw her mother step out of the small office her doctor was using and turned smiling brightly. “H-how did things go momma?”
“He says things look okay, but what ever results that comes from the test will come in a few days.” Kagome frowned at that, but nodded. Sesshomaru growled.
“So we are staying here for how long?”
“Until the doctor phones me or I get a message in the mail. Now why don’t we stop to grab something to eat? I’m sure your hungry,” Inu Yasha and Kagome nodded Sesshomaru simply grunted. Kagome lifted Kanaye and felt Inu Yasha tug at her arms taking the pup. He looked at her and turned following his brother. Kagome couldn’t help herself, she watched as he walked and her eyes just focused on his rear. She couldn’t help but enjoy the way he wore the clothes from her time, she just wanted to reach out and touch him! Her body shivered and she shook her head.
‘I’m so stupid, look at me, I’m acting so stupid- like hell will her ever want me. I’m Naraku’s damn whore and now that Inu Yasha knows… it’d be best to keep, my distance wouldn’t it? Yeah…” Kagome heard Sesshomaru call her and blushed banging into his chest. She rubbed her nose and felt his hands on her hips. She turned her gaze up at him finding something in his eye. She touched the soft silk of his shirt and muttered a tiny apology. He just pulled away and nodded. Taking her hand, he walked out of the building with her.
“Are you well Kagome, you were dazed in the building.”
“oh, I’m okay I was just thinking about some things.”
“That has to do with my brother,”
“Ah, why would you think that?” She saw the look on his face and sighed. “I’m that easy to read, huh?”
“Apparently so,”
“I’m just scared, he knows everything now and that will change how he looks at me, how I look at him. I’m still surprised he wants to b around me, I’m even surprised that I have this mark of his-”
“A mark, where-” Sesshomaru became alarmed. Kagome blinked and lifted her shirt Sesshomaru growled as the men that passed ogled her body and pulled her to the side. He knelt down and examined the mark. It was Inu Yasha’s name imprinted on her hip as well as a small moon. He stood and looked at her face then pulled the collar of her shirt. He saw the fang marks there and grumbled. “He’s marked you, damn that fool-” Kagome twisted her head and blinked.
“Is that bad, what will happen,”
“He’s weakened my mark of mates that I set upon your skin not that long ago.”
“Yeah and what does that mean,”
“It means that in your in human terms are engaged to him.”

Am I still in the forest of Inu Yasha- no this, this is far different.’ He stood by the tree and heard voices, on very angelic, but heartbroken voice. He also heard the low growling of his brother. Looking up he saw a window it was open. Swiftly the Tai jumped and landed inside to here his brother say the words:
“Just how many times have you been with my brother then? Do you so he these ‘special’ favors you do for Naraku?”
“She has not been with THIS Sesshomaru you half breed idiot,”

Kagome froze as Sesshomaru’s voice came from behind her.
“How dare you, are you calling the miko disloyal to you, why in Kami’s name would think of that Inu Yasha?”
“Shut the Hell up Sesshomaru obviously this conversation doesn’t need you. I am speaking to Kagome” Inu Yasha looked back at the sobbing girl. “Well, wench?”
“Inu Yasha she has gone through enough without you to add on to her problems. Why don’t you return to Kikyo?”
“Who the hells does Kikyo have to do with this!”
“You obviously missed the onna’s story then Inu Yasha, She said the only reason she did this was because you kept calling her Kikyo’s look alike. Which she clearly is not, YOU did this to her,”
“Like hell I did, Kagome chose to do this-this shit!” Kagome tried to break them up, but instead her mother burst in the room.
“What in the great gods is going on- Inu Yasha?” She looked at Sesshomaru and blinked. “Who are you,” Sesshomaru smelled the scent coming of off this woman and bowed his head.
“I am the great Lord Sesshomaru, elder brother of Inu Yasha, protector of Kagome, and ruler of the western lands.” He stated. Mrs.Higurashi’s eyes widened as he said all that.
“Lord, you mean as in Royalty, a prince?”
“Somewhat yes, I apologize for causing trouble.” He stated. Kagome blinked her teary eyes as he spoke. Even though she was completely broken, she still could not believe Sesshomaru talking to her mother like that. Inu Yasha sat at the edge of the bed looking at Kanaye.
“Oh my no, please excuse me, but what are you two arguing over.”
“We were not-”
“They were arguing about me and Naraku, and just-” Kagome hid her face from showing all of them her tears. She felt so weak, but why? Why couldn’t she fighting back? Mrs. Higurashi hugged her daughter and hummed silently.
“Kagome, honey you should get dressed. I have made an appointment for you. I need to know, okay just for my sake,”
“Momma…alright,”
“So you discussed about the coming pup?” Sesshomaru asked. Mrs. Higurashi looked up at him. Inu Yasha flinched and looked at Kagome who had even more tears. The stench of them was killing him, with each drop it was like a stab at his heart. He wanted to hold her, but her mother was in the way.
“A- a pup, you mean a, a baby?”
“Yes, that is what I mean.”
“Kagome you’re- that can’t be, I want the doctor to make sure, I’m going to grab some clothes of your fathers and start the car. Be right back.” Kagome didn’t move and her mother sprinted away. The only change was the amount of tears falling. Sesshomaru saw his brother jump at her and hold her tight. During all the commotion, Kanaye had returned from his world of dreams. Sesshomaru heard Inu Yasha mutter quiet apologies while kissing her hair and grumbled low. Kagome shook her head against him.
“St, stop, Inu Yasha-”
“Kagome,”
“Don’t touch my momma, get off!”
“Kanaye Shh, Inu Yasha is our friend, but please Inu Yasha, let go, I, I need to get ready.”
“Momma, can I come, I don’t want to be with him.”
“Kanaye I have to shower, sit with Sesshomaru if you want. I’ll ask mom to make you breakfast.” With that, Kagome left the room. Sesshomaru watched as his brother sat in her spot in the bed and glared back.
“Your problem is Sesshomaru?”
“You are ridiculous,”
“You’re an ass,”
“Boys, quiet down with the arguing now, I need you to dress in these, and hopefully they will fit you. And meet me down stairs.” Mrs.Higurashi Placed clothes In each of their hands before shutting the door. Inu Yasha shrugged and looked at his clothes, taking off his top he threw on the shirt and looked at Sesshomaru who examined his own clothes.
“You’re gonna have to remove your armor and crap while you’re here. Those are what you’ll wear.” Inu Yasha pulled his pants on and sat down Sesshomaru shrugged off his shirts, armor already gone and slipped on the black silk shirt. He removed his pants quickly and threw the others on. Looking in Kagome’s mirror, he smirked inwardly thinking he didn’t look that bad. Inu Yasha scoffed. “You look like one of those damn business men from here. Any way let’s go.”

Kagome sat patiently with her friends as they waited outside the office for Kagome’s mother. The three of them feeling uneasy, She watched as Kanaye slept in her lap peacefully while the others just watched the humans work. It was hard to explain things to both him and Sesshomaru, Inu Yasha’s constant sneering and mocking didn’t help either. Getting them all inside the car was a fun experience too. Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru actually agreed on something saying that the car wasn’t for them, but Kagome promised it was safe and had to hold both of their hands. She giggled softly startling Inu Yasha. “What got you all happy?”
“oh, um…nothing, nothing Inu Yasha,” She blushed. He eyed her and pressed his forehead against hers.
“It can’t be anything if you are blushing about it now. Can’t you tell me?”
“I- I was just remembering what we did in the car… How I had to protect tow big strong demons from a harmless, non-demon eating, mini van.”
“Feh I was not scared-”
“No doubt hiding what can easily be smelt hanyou-,” Sesshomaru stated.
“Oh yeah sure, Mr. -I am all mighty- you were reeking of fear too-”
“This Sesshomaru fears nothing; I was perhaps nervous, but not at all afraid.”
“Feh, hells- wait, did you just admit to being nervous!”
“You guys Shh, we are in a hospital, and yes Yasha Sessho did admit to being nervous. I think at this point we all are.” Kagome saw her mother step out of the small office her doctor was using and turned smiling brightly. “H-how did things go momma?”
“He says things look okay, but what ever results that comes from the test will come in a few days.” Kagome frowned at that, but nodded. Sesshomaru growled.
“So we are staying here for how long?”
“Until the doctor phones me or I get a message in the mail. Now why don’t we stop to grab something to eat? I’m sure your hungry,” Inu Yasha and Kagome nodded Sesshomaru simply grunted. Kagome lifted Kanaye and felt Inu Yasha tug at her arms taking the pup. He looked at her and turned following his brother. Kagome couldn’t help herself, she watched as he walked and her eyes just focused on his rear. She couldn’t help but enjoy the way he wore the clothes from her time, she just wanted to reach out and touch him! Her body shivered and she shook her head.
‘I’m so stupid, look at me, I’m acting so stupid- like hell will her ever want me. I’m Naraku’s damn whore and now that Inu Yasha knows… it’d be best to keep, my distance wouldn’t it? Yeah…” Kagome heard Sesshomaru call her and blushed banging into his chest. She rubbed her nose and felt his hands on her hips. She turned her gaze up at him finding something in his eye. She touched the soft silk of his shirt and muttered a tiny apology. He just pulled away and nodded. Taking her hand, he walked out of the building with her.
“Are you well Kagome, you were dazed in the building.”
“oh, I’m okay I was just thinking about some things.”
“That has to do with my brother,”
“Ah, why would you think that?” She saw the look on his face and sighed. “I’m that easy to read, huh?”
“Apparently so,”
“I’m just scared, he knows everything now and that will change how he looks at me, how I look at him. I’m still surprised he wants to b around me, I’m even surprised that I have this mark of his-”
“A mark, where-” Sesshomaru became alarmed. Kagome blinked and lifted her shirt Sesshomaru growled as the men that passed ogled her body and pulled her to the side. He knelt down and examined the mark. It was Inu Yasha’s name imprinted on her hip as well as a small moon. He stood and looked at her face then pulled the collar of her shirt. He saw the fang marks there and grumbled. “He’s marked you, damn that fool-” Kagome twisted her head and blinked.
“Is that bad, what will happen,”
“He’s weakened my mark of mates that I set upon your skin not that long ago.”
“Yeah and what does that mean,”
“It means that in your in human terms are engaged to him.”
