Sighing through his nose, Inuyasha kicked his desk, making it shake for a couple seconds. Picking up the paper that he had earlier thrown to he ground, Inuyasha growled.

“No need to get your panties in your ass, little brother.”

Inuyasha turned on him, “Hell no, if we don't defeat Naraku within the next month both our sides of the Western Hemisphere while be in an uproar and we might as well kill our selves `cause Alir won't help us unless we have only one president.”

Flicking his long white hair behind him, Sesshomaru straightened out his collared shirt, relieving it from its wrinkles. “Don't worry; Father is already getting an army ready. Your miko mother is trying to use the power she learned two years ago to put a barrier around the most populated cities.”

Inuyasha nodded. Knowing his mother would do a good job of making a barrier whenever her foresight showed that Naraku was going to strike, his brother and he were going to the Eastern Hemisphere.

“Hey,” Sesshomaru pointed to the other papers Inuyasha had on his desk. “You have to sign those, Father needs them soon.”

Rolling his eyes, Inuyasha snorted while doing so. “Keh, I know, but I got to go somewhere today before I sign them…” he began to head towards the door.

“The tree?”

Inuyasha didn't say anything as he passed his brother, he just walking towards the door. Just as he reached it, he paused. “Yeah…” he whispered.

“Is it necessary? I mean to talk to that woman? You don't know who or where she is.”

Turning to look his brother in the eye, Inuyasha smirked. “Don't care… I just know I love her, you bastard.”

The sound of footsteps filled the hall that led to the two story room that contained the Shikon No Tama. Brunette almost black hair bounced slightly as a woman about 5' 6” walked like she was on the cat walk towards the two story room. Hazel eyes read the papers she was holding, her middle finger pushing her glasses back up her nose as she furrowed her brows. Coming to a stop, her 5 inch heels making a loud noise as they hit the floor; the woman put a hand on her hip. Taking in air like a flutist about to play two whole notes, the woman's glossy lips opened as she screamed, “Higurashi!!”

Opening the office door that was to her right with the hand that had been on her hip, the woman glared at the midnight black haired woman that was sitting in front of the desk. “Higurashi… did you install that security box under the Shikon yet?”

Kagome saw the fury in the president's eyes. “Yes Lady President, installed it once I got here which was two hours ago.”

The fury soon dissipated and the woman fixed her glasses before tying her hair up into an oriental bun with chopsticks. “Good.” Resting the papers that were in her arm on her hip, the president sighed.

Noticing the president's expression, Kagome stood. “Lady Kikyo… is anything wrong?”

Kikyo shook her head, “No… just in a little girly pain that's all. Uh… Kagome… you've been here since 6 this morning correct?”

“Well I had to go get the igniter for the security box but I came back only 5 minutes later so yes, you could say I've been here since 6 this morning.”

Kikyo put the papers she had earlier read on Kagome's desk, “You can take your vacation now. You've been working so hard on keeping the Shikon safe, it's a bout time for your yearly vacation since we have a new and improved security isn't it?”

“I don't mind protecting it; it's my job… my life to protect it.” Although he's my life as well. Patting Kikyo on the shoulder, Kagome smiled. “But I wouldn't mind taking some time off… 3 weeks like usual?” Kikyo nodded and Kagome smiled before hugging her cousin who was the President of Alir. “Thanks cous-“

“Humph,” Crossing her arms, Kikyo smiled. “Once you're on vacation you lose the formality?”

“Yup!” Kagome skipped out of her office which was next to the Shikon's room, happy to be able to spend time with the love of her life.

“Get the sensors from Miroku tomorrow, kay?”

“Kay!”

It took two minutes to go down five halls then 10 steps to get to her green motorcycle. Revving her engine, Kagome was about to leave but a person waving at her kept her from leaving.

“Higurashi!”

Hearing the happiness in her ex-boyfriend's voice, Kagome groaned. He just can't get over me can he?! Mentally growling, Kagome put on a fake façade as she smiled at Hojo who had come up beside her. “Hi Hojo! Sorry but I have to go somewhere…”

Hojo cocked his head to the side, “Where? I was hoping to take you to a movie.”

“Sorry Hojo,” No I'm not… “But I have to go, I'm almost late.” Kagome saw him nod sadly before walking off with his head hung low. Knowing he was trying to use the guilt card, Kagome sighed before driving off down Capital Highway.

---

Dammit… where is she? Pacing back in forth in front of the Goshinboku, Inuyasha growled. Damn…

Inuyasha?

Jumping slightly, Inuyasha saw the ball of light before a shadow appeared by the tree… their tree. “You on vacation?”

He saw the shadow nod, do you need extra time to power up more or you ready?

“Keh!” Folding his arms, Inuyasha cocked an eyebrow. “I've built up enough power, thank you. Damn… night of the new moons is coming… Can I just get over there already? I don't want to end up in human form for three weeks on this dumpy planet!”

Inuyasha… Kagome giggled. It's your home… before you met me what did you do for three weeks as the moons around our planets weren't in the sky? Hide?

Inuyasha touched the rough bark of the Goshinboku as he heard his angel's voice. “Stupid wench,” Smiling softly, Inuyasha closed his eyes as he put his energy into the tree. “I just wish that the new moons didn't last for three weeks…”

He felt the aura of Kagome's spiritual power touch his hand as she touched the tree on her side. Well you just happened to be born on the once every five year new moons… usually once a month our moon has a time of disappearance while yours is every two months. Every five years during this time, both our moons have the same time of disappearance for 3 weeks.

“I know that.” Feeling his demon power begin to diminish as he was transported to her world, Inuyasha winced. It always hurt every time he was turning human for three weeks.

Within a second he was in his angel's arms, Black hair, no fangs, claws, or cute little doggy ears atop his head as he slowly stood.

Kagome giggled as she kissed Inuyasha's forehead. “Feel better, koi?”

Inuyasha smiled. “I always do when I'm in your arms…” Kissing Kagome like he hadn't been able to kiss her in weeks, which was the case since he hadn't been on her planet since 8 weeks ago when he was on his human night, Inuyasha mentally sighed. It feels so good to have her in my arms… I miss not being able to smell her scent I haven't smelt that wonderful scent since a year ago when we were almost caught. Inuyasha let her go so both of them good breathe. “I miss being in my hanyou form around you.”

Gathering him in a hug as she rested her head against his chest, Kagome nodded. “I miss your hanyou for too… your silver hair, dog ears, amber eyes…dog ears…”

“Is that all you care about?” Inuyasha chuckled. “My dog ears?”

Kagome smiled. “They're cute… now come on got enough room for you on my bike. I want to get to my house as soon as possible… Miroku and Sango miss you; we have to get you into Alir clothes.”

Clothing styles between their two planets were so different that every time Inuyasha came to her world, they went clothes shopping.

“Can I drive?”

Smiling at Inuyasha as they walked towards her motorcycle hand in hand Kagome nodded. “Let's hurry… I today on my untapped cell phone I told Sango and Miroku you were coming so we have to celebrate.”

“Keh…” Throwing a leg over the bike, Inuyasha reveled in the feel of Kagome's arms around him as he started the bike. “Hang on…” they began flying down the dirt road… big smiles on both their faces.
