InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Big Changes ❯ Chapter 4
Inuyasha flipped over a small figurine and yelled. “Sesshoumaru, where are they!!” Kagome came down the stairs. “Hey! You can’t kick open someone’s door and burst in yelling like that!” She yelled. Oshaka pushed the door to the closet open softly not making any noise. She looked around the room seeing if anyone was in it. She sighed in relief as she stepped out of the closet. She walked down the stairs and seen Kagome and Inuyasha yelling at each other. She rolled her eyes at them and stood beside Sango. “Wench! I’m here to save you!” Inuyasha yelled at the top of his lungs. “Well, maybe I don’t need saving!!!! You jerk!” Kagome yelled making fists with her hands and walking back to Oshaka and Sango. Miroku looked at Oshaka then Kagome then Inuyasha then back to Kagome. “So, who’s everybody?” He asked out loud. Everyone sweat dropped. “Miroku your such a simpleton!” Almost everyone yelled. Sesshoumaru was standing on the bottom stair. “Now, what do you people want?” “Sesshoumaru, you know exactly why I’m here! To save Kagome.” Inuyasha said taking out the Tetsusaiga. “Hey what about me?” Oshaka said hiding behind Kagome so Sesshoumaru couldn’t see her face. Sesshoumaru sighed as he stepped off the stair. “Look, I’m not in the mood so I’ll have someone show you to your rooms.” He said. Every looked at him like he was delusional or some weirdo. “What, are you people questioning me?” Everyone shook their heads no and Inuyasha put his sword back into its sheath. Kagome and Oshaka looked at each other and frowned.

A slight breeze blew and the flowers bent in the wind. Oshaka sighed as she sat in a meadow of beautiful flowers. Her hair blew lightly I the breeze as she picked a flower and breathed in its scent. Rin walked out side and seen Oshaka. “Oshaka- san I can’t sleep.” she said. Oshaka smiled and opened her arms. Rim ran over to her and Oshaka gathered her into her arms and rocked her back and forth humming a little song. Rin finally gave into sleep and laid her head on Oshaka’s shoulder. She stood up and walked into the castle and walked up the stairs slowly so she wouldn’t wake up Rin. Rin smiled and murmured something in her sleep. Oshaka stopped at Rin’s bedroom door. ‘She’s so cute.’ She thought as she laid Rin down on her soft bed and pulled the covers up over her. Oshaka pulled the bangs out of Rin’s peaceful face and walked out of the door. She turned the corner and almost bumped into Sesshoumaru. She jumped and almost fell to the ground. “Sorry.” she said taking in a deep breath. Seeshoumaru’s face softened and he smiled. “It’s ok. I heard someone in Rin’s room and I was going to see who it was.” “Oh, that was me, she couldn’t sleep so she came to me and I helped her to her room.” Oshaka said with a smile. Sesshoumaru nodded and cleared his throat. “We need to talk.” He said quietly. “Yea, I think we do.” Sesshoumaru started to rub the back of his neck. “I’m sorry about earlier, it’s that…that” “Oh, it’s ok guys can’t resist a woman in a kimono.” She laughed and Sesshoumaru laughed a bit too. ‘If she only knew.’ He thought taking her hand. “I need to show you something.” He took her down the hall and out the door. “Ok, where are we going?” She looked around at where they were going. Sesshoumaru stopped at a small building it was gray and it had a small porch and a huge door. “What is it?” She asked walking onto the porch. “It’s a where I have time to think to my self.” He said walking up to her and he opened the door where a spring green like carpet was put on the floor and there was a fireplace in the far end of the room. There were a few chairs and a desk in the far left corner and a bookshelf at the right. “So, this is your ‘alone’ time place, huh?” Oshaka asked walking around the room. “Yes.” He said taking a book of his desk and put it back on the bookshelf. Oshaka smiled and straightened her posture. “Then, why did you show me?” She asked. “Because I think I can trust you.” He said. “You think.” She repeated. “Yes.” “Ok then I guess it can be our little secret.” She sat in a chair she stretched and yawned out of boredom. Sesshoumaru smiled and pulled up a chair in front of her. “So, can I get to know you better?” He asked, she gave him a confused look. “Why?” she asked. “No one ever wants to get to know me. Before I met Kagome, I was an outcast in the world.” She said with a sad tone Sesshoumaru looked in her silver eyes. “Well, I want to get to know you so we can be friends.” ‘And maybe more.’ He thought. She sighed getting ready for a long quiz. “Ok, what do you want to know?” “Ok, well, first I want to know what the hell that small metal thing was you had on your leg!” He asked as if scared. She laughed. “You put you finger on the clicky thing and it shot some thing out of it, didn’t it?” Sesshoumaru nodded nervously. “Ok, first that’s a gun and second it’s very dangerous and it could kill you, instead.” Sesshoumaru’s eyes widened and then went back to normal. “Oh.” Oshaka laughed. “Ok, what else are you going to ask me?” “Ok, what’s your name?” Oshaka stopped laughing. “You don’t know my name?” He shook his head no. “Ok, it’s Oshaka.” He started to think. “O-sha-ka, I like it.” He smiled and she smiled back. “Thanks.” “Your welcome.” He replied. “So, why are you in the feudal era?” She took a deep breath. “Ok, I’m Kikyo’s and Naraku’s daughter and my mother told me to pretend that Inuyasha is my father.” He rolled his eyes. “I wouldn’t want him to be my father. He’s pitiful.” Sesshoumaru didn’t say anything. “W-what, your Naraku’s daughter?!” She nodded her head. “Yea, I know he’s the big bad guy and everything but he was a great father.” She hugged one knee to her chest and laid her chin on it. He sighed. “Before you met Kagome, how did you feel and how did you meet her?” “Ok, well I lived in a world with humans so I was normally alone and friendless. I met Kagome at her shrine. It was raining and I was visiting the shrine, I walked passed the well house and I heard crying. I went into the well house and their was Kagome, crying and dirty at the bottom of the well.
Flash back~~~~~~~~
It was raining and everything was soaking wet. Oshaka walked up the stairs to the Higurashi Shrine. She had a white umbrella in her hand and she was looking at the Ancient Tree. There was a sound that sounded like it was a painful cry. It was faint but she could hear it. She followed the noise and it leads her to the well house. She opened a door to the building and walked down the stairs. She looked down the well and seen a girl soaking wet in a school uniform. And a ripped and dirty one at that. Oshaka looked saddened. “Hi, are you ok?” Kagome looked up with red eyes and tears rolling down her face. She sniffled and wiped the tears from her eyes and cheeks. “Yes, I’m fine. Who are you?” Oshaka smiled lightly. “I’m Oshaka and are you sure your fine?” Kagome nodded sadly. “I’m Kagome.” Oshaka looked down at her. “Do you need help getting out of there?” Kagome nodded. “Yea, can you help me?” Oshaka nodded and jumped down and gave Kagome a hand out of the well. “There you go.” Kagome gasped. “You’re a dog demon!?” Oshaka looked away. “Yea.” Kagome smiled. “I know one.”
End of flashback~~~~~~~~~
“So, yea Kagome was my first friend” Oshaka said sadly. Sesshoumaru nodded. “Sounds like you had a worse life than I had.” Oshaka yawned and nodded. Sesshoumaru looked outside and he felt a hand wrap around his neck. He looked down and seen Oshaka sitting on his lap and cuddled up to him. “Sesshoumaru, thanks for being a good friend.” She said sleepily and laid her head on his shoulder. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. “Your welcome.”
(Ok, I know that Sesshoumaru’s arm was cut off by Inuyasha, but it grew. By magic.)
