Well guys, Im starting to feel as if I am starting to lose you guys. Little by little. Perhaps you are starting to lose interest in the story? Please tell me! I will certainly do my best to try to add more "twist" to my story. I noticed that last chapter was one of the worst chapters so far because you just completely didn't send as many reviews as the last chapters. I don't wan't to sound mean or anything at all, infact, I would like you to tell me if my story plain sucks >.<. Anyways, I decided to update this story faster then what I agreed on. Mostly because I have tons of ideas swimming in my head, and I would love to take them out into the open.

Chapter 5: Uniforms and Rooftops

"Sorry for the incomprihensible piece of filth named Miroku, he's a letcher if you didn't noticed already."
"Sorry Im late, I was at a student council meeting."
"Oh Sesshomaru. This is a new friend of mine. Her name is Kagome!"
"Yes. We already met."

Why do people complain about the materialistic things in their lives, and fight over them with people they love. Why can't they see that what they have is more valuable than any other thing in the world. Why can't they realize, that once you lose it, it is gone forever. You can't bring back your loved ones. Why don't we strive in life, to make as many memories, and as much time with our family members while we still have the chance. That is what I wish, I would of done.
Kagome was snapped out of her day-dream when a masculine voice interrupted her.
"Sorry I'm late Miss Kagome, I seem to be running late always." Sesshomaru said politely while bowing to Kagome.
Those eyes, they're dull, they don't hold that shine like they use to. They don't resemble the sun anymore. They seem cold and unrealistic.
"It's fine, I really don't mind at all." Kagome said while bowing deeply.
But how can I judge him, I probably hold the same dullness.
Sesshomaru brought his face close to Kagome's bowed head, and put his long delicalate index finger under her chin, and grasped the side of it, with his thumb. He lifted her face up, and looked into her eyes. "You don't have to bow so deeply for me." Sesshomaru said gently. When the last word was said, he brought his lips close to her cheek, and kissed it gently.
Kagome's eyes widened in state of shock. Kagome could feel that heat was rising up to her cheeks at a fast pace. Soon Kagome's face was completely red as a tomato.
Sesshomaru broke the contact, and couldn't help himself from smiling at the sight before him. There was Kagome, with her face as red as a tomato, and her eyes wide in shock.
"Im sorry Miss Kagome. I shouldn't have.
Gaining his composure, he turned his back to Kagome, and turned his face back, slightly towards her. "We should get going, we don't want the student store to close. Now would we?"
Kagome shook her head and Sesshomaru started walking.
Sesshomaru was stopped when Kagome's tiny hands came on each side of his shoulder. He gave her a slightly surprised side-glance. Kagome closed her eyes and stood on her tippy-toes and brought her face closer to his. She brushed her lips over his cheek, directly above his jaw and kissed it. Sesshomaru's eyes widened, and felt a not-too foreign, ticklish feeling in his stomach. He felt as if they were surrounded by nothing but her and himself. He could hear her light breathing and fast-paced heartbeat.
Suddenly, she broked the kiss, and looked at Sesshomaru's wavering eyes. Soon her own eyes began wavering aswell, as they started staring at eachother. Kagome lowered her head to his back, and let her left cheek rest on his upper back.
"I've missed you, Sessho-kun." Kagome whispered softly.
"And I've missed you.....koi." Sesshomaru said while bringing his left hand over the right side of his shoulder and resting it on-top of the back of her right hand.
Kagome smiled at the childhood name he use to call her and hugged his neck gently, but enough not to choke him. Could he really mean it now?
Kagome's eyes snapped open quickly and she moved away from Sesshomaru as if he burned her. She shouted loudly, "THE STUDENT STORE!!! CRAP CRAP!!"
Sesshomaru's eyes widened and was about to take off in a sprint, but Kagome's tiny hand stopped him once more. He turned to face the smirking Kagome. He rased an eyebrow at the sudden change of attitude in Kagome and realized she was up to something.
"What is it Miss Kagome?" Sesshomaru asked rushingly.
Kagome looked a bit in thought before she finally spoke with determination in her voice, "How bout you and me have a race."
Sesshomaru was turned now completely towards Kagome and crossed his arms. "Oh yeah? What sort of race do you have in mind?" He said with feigned curiosity, knowing very well what type of race she was talking about.
"Quit acting Sesshomaru you know what race I'm talking about. The old Feudal Japan race, "The Demon-Miko Race." The one we always played when we were kids." Kagome finished with great competition in her voice.
"Oh....that....race." Sesshomaru said while smirking, acting as if he just realized. "Nah. I don't really feel like it." Sesshomaru said while inspecting his nails as if he didn't care.
Kagome leaned forward and made a fist of triumph, "Oh is the little puppy scared." Kagome said mockingly while adding competition to her voice.
Sesshomaru's eyebrow twitched irritavely as he turned around quickly and got into a racing stance. His bangs wipped around when he turned around, giving Kagome a full view of his crecent moon on his forhead. It lit up, giving her the signal that he was ready. He gave a determined look foward and awaited for Kagome.
"What are the terms Priestess?" Sesshomaru said, eyes still in place with determination in his voice while calling her "priestess" by his instincts.
Kagome put a finger under her chin and though wistfully. "Ah! I got it. Ok first of all, we can use our powers, but remember that we our ontop of the roof of the school, so it's best not to create damage. Second the winner gets to pay for both of our uniforms and gets to make the loser do whatever the winner wants. Third, the race will begin when my bandanna touches the floor. The winner is the one that reaches the student store first. "Kagome said all in one breath.
Sesshomaru nodded, without taking his eyes from foward.
"Alrighty then. Let me get ready."
Kagome fumbled with the knot on her yellow-striped bandanna and finally untied it. She bent down next to Sesshomaru and got into a racing position aswell. She closed her eyes and concentrated her energy. Suddenly a glowing blue hexagram(davids star) appeared in the middle of her forhead. It had circles at the end of each point, and a normal star in the very middle. Suddenly wavy raven-locks of hair sprouted from her head and they reached to her knees. Suddenly Kagome was enveloped by an invisible wind and her raven locks were flying all around her. Her body was then envelope by a blue glowing orb. Soon the orb faded, and there stood Kagome, in her priestess outfit. She was wearing the usual white haori, with the red hakama's. A long white cloth, ribbon like, floated all around her body.
Sesshomaru looked at her from the corner of his eyes and smirked. She's really serious about this, eh? Well two can play at this game.
Sesshomaru stood up straight, and closed his eyes. He was soon enveloped by glowing silver orb. The orb slowly faded away, and the once short haired Sesshomaru, was now replaced by his full fledge form. His silver hair grew all the way to its original knee lenght. He was wearing his traditional kimono, with the white haori, and white hakama and with the red sakura patterns on his left shoulder. His demonic markings came into full view as well as the red eye shadow marking. His fangs and claws grew and his white fluffy tail hung over his right shoulder while his black and yellow sash was tied loosely around his waist. Sesshomaru's eyes were only half open and his lips were completely straight. His face was completely emotionless as it always was when he transformed full fledge.
Kagome turned around and realized that they have attracted a large audience. Infact, almost the whole school was there. They were all cheering head on, aswell as surprised that there was an actual miko in this school. Sango's mouth hung ajar realizing friend was a miko. She walked up to Kagome and gave her a hug. "Be careful." she said while smiling. Kagome nodded emotionlessly. Sango looked towards Sesshomaru and nodded. Sesshomaru looked at her emotionlessly and nodded back. Sango went back down and seated herself back on the bleachers and cheered for Kagome and Sesshomaru.
Kagome gave Sesshomaru a side glanced and nodded. He nodded back and they once more got into racing position. They looked at eachother emotionlessly once more and Sesshomaru spoke monotoneously,"Prepare to be defeated priestess."
"Your dreaming demon." Kagome said, void of any emotion in her voice. They faced foward and Kagome raised her hand which contained the bandanna. She exhaled and threw it in the air. Sesshomaru and Kagome looked at the floating cloth and waited it to touch ground. It finally reached the ground and both beings sprinted foward.

Dammit, its worrying be that it has taking over 4 chapters to just complete a whole day, maybe next chapter i should take it to the next day lol... Anyways I really hope that you enjoyed this chapter a lot. I know Im probably confusing you guys with all the twist in this story, but oh well, I guess it makes it interesting.
