Chapter 1--Home Again

"Pleeeeeeeeaaaase Inuyasha???!!" Kagome whined. "Just for three days, then I promise I'll be right back here with you. Besides, my dad is home for the first time in years and I really want to go see him!"

 

"Fine, but you know that if you arn't back here in three days I'll---"

 

To late- Kagome sped away yelling her thanks to him for letting her go home. It would be the first time in 14 years that she would get to see her father. She could hardly remeber anything about him really-the last memory she had of him is from the last time she saw him.... right before he hit her mother..... right before he left and didn't come back. 'Oh, I'm shure that everything is O.K. now--but still, I have to wonder, why didn't he come back for Sota and me?? Did he hate us??'. Her emotions grew as she made her way to the Bone-Eater's well and thrust herself in, only to travel through that so familar ring of light, back to her world.

'I hate it when she cuts me off' thought Inuyasha. 'I wonder what her father is like? I wonder why he never came back?--well than again there are many things from Kagome's time I don't understand. Maby the father is supposed to leave- sounds pretty unnatrual to me -oh well- she'll be fine'.

 

Understatement of the centenary.

" YEESH!" exclaimed Sango "We all know that you love Kagome Inuyasha, so why don't you just go off and tell her so mabe we can all get some rest while she's gone!"

 

She had a point-- Inuyasha had been scurrying all over the camp making rude comments, and all last night he had kept everyone awake with his howling.

 

Inuyasha started to glare daggers at Sango when Miroku jumped in to the conversation.

 

"Well, Inuyasha we can all see that you are clearly worried about Kagome, why don't you just go and check on her?"

 

"Feh" answered Inuyasha as he sped off to the well.

 

"Nice save Mirouku" said Sango.

 

"You know what would be even nicer?" at that moment Mirouku's hand squezed Sango' bottom firmly.

 

"LETCHER!" Sango screamed as she slapped Mirouku as ahrd as she could and stormed off.

 

'It was worth it' he thought.
