In high school no matter what type there are always cliques.
How about a t a magnet school with a music program and their best singer and pianist is blind.
Too bad the only person who knows is the private tutor, Totosia.
A/N: not so good with the intros so let's just get it on.
" ll right Ms Hyugarashi now scales " The old man instructed and the young girl slapped her hand on
the piano out of grief and annoyance.
"Really Totosia! I have practiced for days can't I sing or at least get my other homework done now?" she
asked whining.
The old man grumbled and sighed "Ms Hyugarashi your work can wait "
"Work always waits!" She complained
Totosia shook his head in frustration.
"Don't shake your head at me Totosia " the girl said hearing the fabric behind her rustle back and forth.
"You are remarkable, this is why I push you so hard!" he said taking a seat next to her on the piano
bench. Her eyes were such a pale blue it was almost like a cool look at the sky.
"I wish you'd ease up sometimes " she said rubbing the back of her neck.
Totosia chuckled and closed the piano and dismissed her. Not to his surprise she left all too eagerly.

`Thank god I'm out of there' she said as she walked down the empty hallway with her laser walker.
She heard a rustling behind her one that she hadn't heard before, her nose was assaulted by a very
woodsy smell.
"Hey no one is supposed to be at school after hours what are you doing here!"
Kagome stopped in her tracks.
"Excuse me? Who are you?" she asked.
She heard him scoff at her.
"What'd ya blin-, oh " he said seeing her eyes.
She smiled and shined her laser pointer towards him.
"Sorry I was practicing in the music lab with professor Totosia and I guess we lost track of time " She said
shuffling over to him.
He scoffed "practicing?!"
She scrunched her face in confusion.
"Now, why would you say it like that?" she asked inching even closer to him.
He laughed in her face "Please, I clean these halls all the time and I catch teacher and their female
student s together trying to get " extra credit" Believe me I'm not stupid " he said eyeing the girl
completely forgetting she was blind.
"oh " she said laughing at the incredulous idea of her and the old man she envisioned was Totosia
having sex! Ugh! Revolting! "Umm I'm not sure what he looks like to you but to me he seems like an old
skinny stickler with an old biddy wife who loves him dearly at home and even if I was that desperate I'd
bribe him " She said laughing still while talking to him
He chuckled at the thought of this hot girl and that old man.
"So do you need help to the door?" the man asked
Kagome turned on her laser pointer and smiled "I'm sure I can mange" and walked away.
"Ok bye "he whispered.

Walking home was always fun for her, she'd walk barefoot and hear the wild life, feel the vibrations and
her clicker helped her locate how close or how far she was from her home. Thankfully there were no
traffic lights around so it was a straight shot to her house. Up multiple shrine steps and to the holy tree
where only she heard the voices of sages of years past, they've taught her how to use her disadvantage
to an advantage. Using the earth as her eyes the vibrations, the rain the air.
Her spirit reached all points of the world, she was open and saw the world in a way many of us wish we
could. She hear music in everything, the water the grass, the wind; all of it.
"Mama, I'm home!" she said kicking of her shoes and dropping her bag at the door.
She could smell the supper cooking and her mother's lavender perfume.
"Come one in Kagome!" She heard her mother's voice, walking towards the kitchen.
"OW!" kagome ran into a chair that someone left out in the open.
She heard her mother drop everything and run toward her daughter. "Kagome are you ok?" her mother
asked helping her daughter up.
"Yea mom, just didn't sense that chair is all." she said as their dog Scooter came to help her to the
kitchen.
"Thanks Scooter." kagome said smiling as she took her seat at the table.
Her mother called her brother Sota and Her Grandfather down.
Kagome felt their feet vibrate down the steps, she felt hand snake around her face and cover her eyes .
"Really Sota?" she laughed capturing her baby brother's hands.
"How do you always know?" he asked sarcastically.
"It's a gift!" she said smiling.
"Alright smiley, what's his name?" her mother asked as her daughter who had that star struck smile
which quickly disappeared as she felt all eyes on her at the dinner table.
"What?" She felt her heart drop under the table and bounce back up into her chest cavity and then
slugged into a dull lull.
"I'd know your sweet smile and this is a boy sweet on smile my dear." her mother teased as she put the
food on her daughter's plate.
"Mother! Really there's not boy." she white lied .
Her mother saw right threw that uneasy smile .
"Okay Kagome, but if you need to talk about anything I'm here baby." her mother smiled as her
brother hid a knowing smirk.
"I know you're doing your snotty brother smirk Sota." kagome said throwing a snow pea his way.
"Hey!" her brother objected as her family relished in one of those normal family moments.
