Disclaimer: I don't own any Inu yasha character and I'm still figuring out how to make nice drawings of them with Photoshop. Even worse there are no books on how its done with all the coloring and such.

Chapter 1: let me kiss you good night...
His rosy lips twisted into a cruel sadistic smile, one that would freeze the very marrow of your bones of you would have looked upon it. His red eyes gleamed with pleasure when the two girls finally came out of the building.
He had been watching them for months now. Learning there routine, the things they liked and disliked. How everybody thought them to be the same and how they were considered angels of girls.
It had been this very fraise that had brought his attention on them. Wanting to see for himself if such humans could exist on in these two girls he had indeed found something very close to angelic.
O no not truly angelic but close enough, close enough for him to consider it a great came. A game in which he would rip them apart and show them and everybody else that they were in fact very different from one another.
He hadn't considered yet which one he would take and make a child of the night. One second he went for the silver eyed girl another second he thought it best to take the murky grey eyed girl. Decisions, decisions.
While they walked down the street he followed them easily jumping from one rooftop to the next like it was just a walk in the park. On e thing he had decided he would take one tonight. It would be perfect; the moon was full and the sky cloudless letting everybody able to gaze upon the thousands of stars. A perfect night to create a new vampire.
Hastening his pace he ascended in an alley a little ahead. The girls would walk by this passage and it would be easy enough to drag one in hear with him, he would be finished before the other one had gathered the courage to come in after him.
Hiding himself in the shadows he waited for them already he could here the soft clicking of heals coming closer, ever closer. Then just before they would go by the alley they stopped. His eyes widened just a little his inpatient showing in the clear blood red of his jewel like eyes.
Then there voices rose and he listened and the more he heard the wider his smile grew. This wasn't planned but it would soot his purpose really well. Not even he could have thought up such a devious plot.
"Did you see him Kagome, isn't he splendid looking." Kikyo the oldest twin said. "Like a prince from a fairy tail." The younger twin Kagome turned to look in the direction her sister was looking and her silver eyes fell on a stranger standing just by the corner of Dogs.
He was tall, very tall if Kagome would have had to guess she would have said that he easily reached 6,7 feet. But that was not all that was interesting about him. His hair was a silvery white color the likes that made Kagome think of the most expensive of silk and it hung all the way down to his knees. His cloths were definitely from a tailor, there fine cut was visible even from this distance and unlike most man he wore the cloths, he made the rich suede and linen better looking instead of the other way around.
He seemed busy and waiting, especially waiting for he kept looking up and down the street slipping the girls short glimpses of his face. And both of them fell utterly silent when they looked upon him. Eyes a color they had never seen before a cold soft amber which seemed to be lightened by yellow fire. These were set in a face so finally crafted it was almost feminine, almost.
But what was even more remarkable where the proud markings that were tattooed on his face. Two magenta colored stripes on each side of his face curving sensually over his cheek bones and a crescent bluish moon in his forehead just visible between the bangs that covered a great deal of his face.
After some severe blinking sessions and a lot of trying Kagome was able to speak again although barely and her voice was but a hoarse whisper of it usual rich tone. "Kikyo pinch me I think I just died and gone to heaven for no man like that could be real."
Her twin sister reached out for her hand and gripped it giving it a painful squeeze which Kagome returned full force. The man didn't disappear.
"He's real, he is really real." Kikyo whispered shaking her pained hand free from her sister's clutch. "I'm going to him; I'm going to ask who he is." She said. Before Kagome could even think to protest she had already started to cross the street not paying any attention on her sister, instead her murky grey eyes were focused with keen attention on the beautiful stranger who was still watching the streets.
A bit shocked at her sister's boldness Kagome felt a pang of anger for the first time in her life. She would let Kikyo have it all she would speak with him too. Raising her feet to start her own crossing of the rode, she uttered a muffled scream when she was grapped from behind and dragged into a dark alleyway.
Overcoming her shock fast Kagome started to struggle, kicking heels backwards trying to hit the shins of whoever held her. All the while she tried to scream but the cold hand never left her mouth.
Not one to give in easily Kagome kept up with her struggle only to receive a blow to her head and curses in a language she didn't think was common. Slowly her energy whined and she got all the more desperate until her captor was bored whit it and simply presses a spot at the back of her neck, she went limp in matter of seconds.
Looking down at the limp body he could feel pleasure rise in him like a hot lacquer. Bring her up higher so a soft curve of her neck was presented to him he opened his mouth. It was canine teeth that sunk into her creamy white skin, breaking it.
Blood welled up a dark ruby color just visible before his lips covered that part. Closing his eyes in pleasure he sucked the blood from her taking care to drench her to the very threshold of death. It was hard to pull away when her blood tingled and delighted him like no other human had ever done before. He had been right he was going to enjoy this very much.
Dropping the body on the ground he brought his own wrist to his mouth hesitating just a second before sinking his teeth in the white surface. Like with the girl his blood welled up and he kneeled beside the chosen victim. Making sure not to spill a drop he brought his wounded wrist to the barley open mouth of his victim. Even at near death she tried to call out for help. Her will to live was strong she would make a splendid vampire.
Letting his blood drop between the soft pink lips at first before pressing it down forceful making her swallow each precious life giving red drop. He made her drink until he felt him self go faint and he ripped his wrist away from her mouth watching the wound close and fade within a mere heartbeat.
Just before he heard the other girl start calling out for her sister he looked down at the midnight black haired beauty. "Be brave my love, I'll be coming for you within 24 hours until then I suggest you enjoy your last sunrise." His words fell on her like the petals of sakura blossom unnoticeable but still noticed.
Kikyo shrilly screamed for Kagome while she frantically searched for her sister. Her heels making a rapid beat on the tiles. It wasn't for a while until she noticed the black corner of a coat lying in the alleyway not for away.
Almost too afraid Kikyo walked closer with great caution not knowing what she could expect. When she saw the unconscious form of her sister lying there she let out a breath she had been holding in and rushed forward.
Falling on her knees next to her sister she rained her self and started to look if there was something wrong with Kagome, when she found nothing she softly nudges the shoulder in attempt to wake her. Just when she was sure she had to call 911 Kagome opened her eyes and Kikyo felt a burst of relieve.
Helping her sister up and speaking to her in a hushed voice asking what had happened. The left the alleyway behind and went on to there house. At first Kagome was to far gone to answer any of Kikyo's questions but by the time they stared to clime the stone steps to there family home. A shrine house that had been in the family for generations Kagome felt almost back to normal.
Letting her sister help her one arm around her shoulders the other one holding her left hand they went up. "I don't know Kikyo, one moment I was trying to catch up with you and the next I am being dragged into the alleyway. I never heard or saw him coming." Kagome explained when her sister asked for what had to be the thousand time how she got in the alleyway.
"Are you sure it was a man, it could have been a woman." Kikyo questioned meanwhile steering her sister a bit more to the right before they would end up in the bushes.
"No Kikyo I'm really sure it was a man and I told you already he rendered me unconscious pretty fast and I don't know what happened after that." Kagome answered patiently.
"Well from the way I found you I don't think he did anything. I mean even your cloths where untouched so he didn't..." Kikyo fell silent and suddenly she looked away from her sister not being able to think on what could have happened to Kagome in those few minutes she left her alone.
Feeling her sister's unease like it was her own Kagome raised her right hand and patted Kikyo and her left arm affectionly. "Don't worry about it Kikyo as you said nothing happened so there is no need to be so distressed." At the soft loving tune of Kagome's voice Kikyo almost bursted out in tears.
"That is not what it is about Kagome; I shouldn't have left you alone like I did. If something would have happened it would have been all my fault. And all that over some stupid curiosity." Kikyo bite out letting go of Kagome's left hand to get the keys out of her pocket and put them in the door to open it.
A bit shocked at the bitter tune in her sister's words Kagome meekly followed her lead inside and waited for her to lock the door before they went upstairs. The house was dark a sure sine that there mother had gone to bed early.
Taking care in not making any loud noises they went to the far room on the second landing, there room. At the sight of the warm soft yellow and lavender colors Kagome could fell the last bits of tension fall of her shoulders. Twin beds were neatly covered with two almost identical woolen covers. Kikyo settled down on her own bed and looked at Kagome who was still standing in the doorway.
"I'm so very sorry Kagome; you don't know how sorry I feel." Kikyo whispered her eyes shimmering with tears. Not being able to take anymore of it. Kagome walked into the room closing the door behind her before going over to her sister's bed and kneeling before her.
"Listen to me Kikyo and listen well. I don't want you to blame yourself there was nothing that you did wrong. I want you to stop blaming yourself for something you had neither part nor control over. Is this understood?" Kagome said with a stern voice her silver eyes firmly locked with her sister's.
At first Kikyo tried to look away but eventually she stopped and at last she meekly nodded giving in to her sister's will. Satisfied Kagome stood up. "Well I don't know about you but I'm gonna take a nice hot shower. This managed to get a weak smile on Kikyo's lips and Kagome went for there own private bathroom.
It wasn't long before both girls were fast asleep in there beds. And as the night sky was slowly concurred by the first rays of soft pink and light bleu the world around them seemed to wake up.
Soft noises in the house told of there mother going to the kitchen and starting on breakfast and in the living room shattering noises of cartoons could be heard. Somewhere from outside came the raised voice of there grandpa while he chased the paperboy down the stairs with ofuda charms telling him to stop so he may get rite of the demon he harbored inside. All in all it was a morning like all others but this was about to change rapidly.
Just when the sun broke free from the horizon Kagome awoke with a start her instincts telling her to rush to the window because there was something very important to see. Not able to help herself Kagome struggled from her blankets and rushed to the window. When the first light of the sun hid her dead on she raised her arms and squinted her eyes against the bright light.
Going on she stopped at the window and lowered her arms. Her silver eyes moved rapidly first over the garden then into the trees until at last she looked at the sky and sucked in her breath. For some reason the sky took her breath away with its beauty never before had it seemed to look so catching.
She didn't now how long she stood like this it sure felt like forever when her sister's soft voice broke the spell and dragged here attention back to the present. "what is it Kagome you look just like when you saw that stranger last night..." Kikyo's voice trailed of when she thought about what she had just said.
Kagome however wasn't bothered by the mentioning of last night. "I said don't bother Kikyo and I mend it, but just for pities sake lets not tell mom. Nothing happened and I hate for her to worry unnecessary." Kagome threw her sister the puppy dog stare to gain an edge and like always it worked.
"All right Kagome I won't tell mom, but you have to promise me to make a appointment with the doctor just to be sure nothing happened." Kikyo said turning away from Kagome to go to the big oak closet that hold there cloths. Being twins had it advantages not only could you fit into your sisters cloths you had twice as much.
Rummaging around Kikyo threw a worn denim pants and green shirt Kagome's way before pulling out a long lime green dress with a yellow vest. It toke the girls no time at all to change into there cloths and Kikyo was already at the top of the stairs when she heard a soft thump coming from there room.
Curious to know what had fallen Kikyo wondered back, she wished she could forget the sight that met her, but she knew she would carry this picture on her soul no matter how old or senile she got.
Kagome was laying on the ground her body suffering from convulsions that made her back arch in an unnatural way. Kikyo faired she would hear it break any minute now. With a soft cry she went to Kagome trying to get hold of her and pin her down.
She didn't succeed every time she got hold of a part of Kagome's body one of the twisting moves of her body would throw her of again. Desperate and heavily crying Kagome started calling out for her mother.
At first no one came but then everything seemed to happen in a rush, her mother stormed up the stairs when she heard her daughters pleading screams. The sight she met in the girl's room rendered her helpless for a few chilling moment.
The she suddenly gathered herself up and rushed into the room helping her daughter pin Kagome down. Screaming for Souta telling him to call the house doctor she returned her attention on Kagome and Kikyo.
Instructing her daughter they worked to get Kagome back in bed that way she would hurt herself a little less. All the while the ripples and shivers racked Kagome's body sending her in spasm that had to be painful, Kikyo send out a small prayer of thanks that her sister was unconscious.
For the barest second she left her mother alone to get the belts she had asked for. Tears spilled richly down her cheeks while she helped her mother tie Kagome's body down on the bed. Both getting hurt and bruised on the process her mother even sporting a deep cut on her cheek where Kagome had lashed her nails out.
The Souta came running into the room out of breath telling them the doctor was coming. When he noticed the tied down Kagome he walked to the bed not believing his eyes. To see one of his beloved sisters in this state scared him and he sought comfort in his mother arms his face buried in her chest. Asking again and again in this child voice if everything was going to be okay.
Holding her son close arms wrapped around him he was assured that everything would be just fine. The doctor would come and give Kagome a medicine and everything would be back to normal in n time at all. Meanwhile she pointed her head to the door telling Kikyo to await the doctor.
Only to clad to be of use Kikyo went downstairs throwing the door open to look for the doctor. When the short skinny man appeared atop of the stairs tears of relieve flooded her cheeks and she bid him to hurry up. At the bedroom door the doctor stopped to take in the sight, then he seemed to puff himself up and he took charge of the situation.
Sending Kikyo down together with Souta only her mother and him were left with Kagome. To distraught to think of anything brother and sister prowled the hallway up and down, up and down.
The day wore on and now and then there mother would come down to give then some news. Some time ago grandfather had been set to cleanse the kitchen and living room so he would bother those upstairs.
When noon flew by and evening rolled in both her mother and doctor came down. A look of relieve was on her mother face and Kikyo run to her seeking a comfortable embrace, everything was going to be okay.
The doctor took leave and her mother kneeled down to tell Souta the good news. "Kagome is resting now. The doctor said that this was just a case of coincidence and he is most sure it won't ever happen again." Kikyo let out a sigh of relieve at this piece of information. "He also said that he is going to get Kagome in a hospital tomorrow so they can run some test but he is confident they won't find anything wrong."
~>~>~>~>~>~>
upstairs Kagome slowly awoke from what felt like the most heavy sleep ever. At first she just let the sensation of waking sweep her away not bothering to open her eyes. Then she felt a soft pull, not very strong but stubborn and persistent.
Deciding to ignore it Kagome kept her eyes closed and let the soft blankets and pillows keep her cozy, the calling grew stronger. Finally she gave up and lifted her self from the bed again she was called to the window. This time she didn't bother looking at the ground or trees instead her silver eyes went for the sky at once.
With fascination she took in the colors that brilliantly covered the air, Dark purple and midnight bleu, yellow white and dark green were but a few of the Thousands of different colors that made up the night sky and Kagome opened her window. Still the calling didn't stop and she grew restless frustrated at that she couldn't stop this demanding order.
The without meaning to Kagome jumped out of the window landing gracefully on her feet in the back yard. Even if her mind didn't understood this persisted calling her body seemed to understand it only to well.
After a few miles she stopped trying to gain control of her body and just went with the supple grace her body showed of while running fast through various streets and alleys always going on and on.
Suddenly she came to a halt before an old Christian church, once it had been washed white and had pretty painted windows in its frame. Now it was no more than a shadow of its former self and the plants were already claiming it. It was at one of the columns that she saw him and she instantly knew he had been the one calling for her.
He was long not as long as the silver haired stranger but still long. His hair was sinfully black but it was his eyes that snapped her out of her dais. A bloody red shining with evil that took her in inch by inch while a small male smile grew bigger and bigger on his fine lips.
Blinking Kagome broke the trance. "What do you want from me?" Kagome slipped out, she hadn't meant to ask any questions it just happened. Urging her body to start moving she found she couldn't. it didn't however frighten her at other times she would have asked her self why but now she didn't even think about it.
His mouth lifted up in a full grin and Kagome could just see a flash of fangs. Telling her self she was just seeing things she waited for an answer. He didn't speak however.
Pulling his hands out of his pockets he left the column he had been using. Like a predator he started to circle her forcing her to turn with him to keep him in eyesight. The gleam in his eyes told her he was enjoying himself.
Just when fear and despair where starting too appear in Kagome a flash of silver and white rushed past her strait into the black haired man. Before she could actually see what it was both disappeared. Confused she looked around and the harder she strand her eyes the more she got the feeling that she could see two figures moving before the church.
A thought occurred to her that there were two man fighting but that was impossible no human could move this fast. No human could... and suddenly Kagome was scared very scared. Desperate to get home she started to run the way she came.
She felt like she was stopped by an invisible wall that threw her back. Landing on her butt Kagome blinked and rubbed her abused parts when she stood up. Brushing the dirt from her pants she made a brake for the beckoning street only it wasn't empty anymore.
There in the middle of the street the stranger from last night stood. His amber eyes focused on her. His face expressed no feeling at all and she was startled when he suddenly raised his hand in a demanding way.
When he spoke it made shivers run up and down her spine and all thoughts of running left her mind. "Come with me, I'll bring you somewhere safe. That's a good girl just come to me."
All the while that he spoke in a soft hushed tone he kept his eyes connected to hers and she obeyed in a trancelike state. When his hand closed around one of her own he bide her to sleep and her body slumped at once.
Picking her up in his arms Sesshoumaru took of not looking back or paying attention to his surroundings. Naraku would attack him, not tonight and if the bastard was smart enough he would ever challenge Sesshoumaru but then he had already done that. Even if he didn't know that he did.
With ease and predatory style Sesshoumaru went on into the night. It seemed that his fight had just gotten a little more difficult. Nothing that would disturb him of course just a nuisance.
A/n: well tell me does this qualify as a good first chapter and a nice beginning of a new story? Please do tell.
Ps: sweet dreams tonight and don't let the vampires bite. ^_^
