Me: *comes walking in with what looks like the old Scooby Snax from the original show (we all know they were hash brownies) and a box of Scooby Snax brand dog treats.* No Scooby Snax.
Fluffy-in-suit: *snags the box of dog treats.* Mine! *starts shoving them down his gullet.*

Me: Fine I'll do it. Kay like I promised I got the lemon up after finals so here is chapter 13. The morning after the sex.
Trio: Hehehehehehe. *sniffs* Hey wait gimme some o dose.

Chapter 13
Hot Springs Hype

The morning sunlight came pouring through the gauzy red curtains that hung over the windows casting a reddish light over the reunited couple. Her eyes slowly flickered open her gaze landing on a toned lightly tanned chest. Smiling softly she let her gaze wonder up his chest, over his neck, where it then landed on his angelic sleeping features. His eyes were closed and a soft half smile rested on his face. Reaching up with her left hand Kagome ran her thumb over the stripes on his cheek. Moving to his forehead she traced the crescent moon. Lowering her hand just a little she ran her thumb over his closed eyes. With a soft gentle sight she leaned forwarded and gave him a peck on the nose. 'This was a wonderful way to wakeup in the morning.' Leaning back she watched as his golden eyes fluttered open.
"Hello mate," Sesshomaru said as he kissed her cheek.
"Good morning my Lord," She smiled as he yawned, "Sleep well my love?"
"For the first time in 500 years my love." He gently kissed her on the lips. They lay there in each others arms basking in what little sun light filters through the windows. For a while it was quiet until a small voice at their feet startled them.
"I hope the Lord and Lady enjoyed their night together."
Kagome grabbed Sesshomaru's fluffy tail and used it to cover herself as she looked around for the culprit. Sesshomaru's clawed hand reached out and snagged the offending voice, "Myoga, what the hell are you doing in here?"
The poor old flea demon wondered what he had ever done to disserve this life, "I..*Gulp*... I came back to greet the Lady and to tell you I found him." Wincing Myoga waited for the pain to come of getting squished.
Sesshomaru glared at the flea, "You did."
"Yes milord. Also I think you might have some company later."
Sesshomaru growled as he quickly squashed the offending insect youkai. Kagome smiled as he was acting quite like his little brother at the moment. she was soon dragged out of her early morning reverie buy Sess' voice, "Kagome, how would you like to come to the hot springs and soak."
Upon hearing that Kagome quickly Scrambled out of the pillows and hurriedly threw her pants and shirt of from last night, "Well what are you waiting for. I haven’t enjoyed a nice soak in a hot spring for a few years."
Sess snickered to himself as he got up wrapping his tail around his waist he proceeded to walk out of the library and down the hall toward the out doors hot spring. His excited mate trailing along behind him bouncing along like a small little girl.
Sliding the shoji doors open to the hot spring Sess moved back and allowed Kagome to enter first. She was stunned the last time she had been to the springs she distinctly remembered them to not have a fence surrounding them or a huge half pipe to be sitting on the back side of it.Smiling softly she started to undress and slip into the steaming hot waters. Sesshomaru smiled at the blissful look on her face. The scent of their recent activity was washed away leaving Kagome's natural scent mixed with his own rich sandalwood scent to claim her, but another scent clung to her a deep earthy scent like a forest in the middle of the night. That scent spoke volumes to the ex-demon lord. 'I'll tell her later.' Stepping into the pool he sat down and watched as his mate washed himself off.
Once Kagome had finished cleaning herself off she waded through the waist deep water to sit on Sesshomaru's lap. Leaning up she gave him a gentle kiss on his lips. "I love you."
Sess muttered "Same here," as he gently responded to her.
The two reunited mate sat in the peaceful silence enjoying the company of each other that they had been missing while they had been apart. At least it was silent for a small moment that was until the sound of running feet reached the couples ears. Suddenly the twins leapt over top of Sess and Kagome both yelling at the top of their lungs. "BONZAI!!!!"
"KOWABUNGA DUDES!!!!!!"
Kagome gave a startled screaming laugh as she was drenched with the resulting wave. Sess on the other hand wasn't to pleased as he gave a roaring growl. The twins heads popped up out of the water twitching their ears at the same time the answered in unison, "Hello Aunt Kago." Kagome softly smiled remembering how both Rin and Shippou acted during their time in the springs and how much both of the twins reminded her of their father. Though she knew that InuYasha would never be caught dead bathing in the hot spring with his brother nor would he have jumped into the spring. Sitting on Sess' lap she listened as Ni gave the daily stock report and Tai was scrounging around looking for his super soaker.
Suddenly something Sess mentioned during the feudal era surfaced 'Youkai aren’t as naive as humans. Take for instance the hot springs. It is nothing to find a lord and his court relaxing in the springs at the same time. It is part of our culture.' Jacken came in a few moments later and whispered something about some visitors that were their to see him. Sess nodded his head. "Kagome please excuse me for a moment. Something has been called to my attention and I must go see to it."
Kagome gave him a quick kiss on the lips before he could get up, "Come back soon."
Sesshomaru gently kissed her back and murmured into her lips "Don't worry I will." Standing up and getting out of the steaming water he slid into his robe that lay on the bench and then left for his study.
She watched as he left. It seemed as if they had only had a few moments to spend with themselves. Sadly she sat back down and started to think about their life before the end of Naraku. They had been able to spend the nights alone and during the day if they didn't want to be around the others they could take Ah-Un and fly above them. When they were at his home the guest rooms were so far away from the master rooms that they could do just about what ever they wanted and not wake anybody. Suddenly a familiar chant reached Kagome's ears, "Sesshomaru and Kagome sittin in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G..."
Glaring at the twins Kagome quickly reprimanded them, "Tai, Ni I'll put rosaries on you just like Kieade did your father!"
A rather amused voice, that spoke clear yet rather surferish English, came from the door, "That was harsh man."

*With Sesshomaru*

Sesshomaru snarled as he prowled through his halls toward his study. He was so intent on strangling a certain lord that he didn't even notice with he walked past a Hawaiian clad ookami hanyou heading toward the springs. 'There is no way that I am going to let that dumb bastard's grand cub stay here during the winter. She can stay in the city with her uncles for all I care.' Slamming the shoji open Sess prowled into his office only to be confronted by Kouga, Ayami, and one of their grand cubs Riju. Any remnants of his so called mask was gone. "Why the hell are you here wolf?"
For a moment all Kouga could do was dig his claws into the thick sturdy cloth of the chairs arm rests. Finally he spoke up if a little unwillingly, "I need to ask a favor."
"No." Sesshomaru ground out. Even though the wolf hadn't told him the favor he knew what it had entailed. Every winter since his twin grand cubs had came to Japan for their last two years of high school and college educations the female had been left with him. If not she would get into loads of trouble with the local shrines.
Kouga stood up snarling at the dog standing in front of him. "I haven’t told you what I wanted."
"No," Sesshomaru sat down and folded his hands in front of him, "She isn't staying here. Between the twins and her I won't have a retainer left."
Bristling Kouga barred his fangs at the ex-Tai Youkai sitting in front of him, "It's only for the winter dog."
Ayami stood and put her hand on Kouga's shoulder and none to gently forced him to sit back down, "Kouga dear don't."
Riju continued to sit in his chair as bored as could be as his grandfather made a big deal about this. His grandfather did owe Lord Sesshomaru his life. So there was only one thing he could say, "Yeah gramps. If you piss him off you might get pounded." Well it was true. If a wolf pissed lord fluff butt off enough lord fluff but would pound him into the ground. literally.
"WILL YOU WOLVES JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!!!" Sesshomaru bellowed as he shot up out of his chair and glared at the lord of the wolf tribes. Kouga, Ayami, and Riju both shut their traps and quickly sat back down. Realizing that if they wanted to walk out of the study in one piece it would be wise to keep a lid on it. Sesshomaru stalked out from behind his desk and stormed toward the door opening it he spun around and addressed the wolves on more time, "I was enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot spring with my mate, I'll have you know, and I didn't want to be interrupted by the likes of you!" Spinning around once again he stormed back to the hot springs hopping that his mate could sooth his frazzled nerves. he left behind him two stunned wolves and one very confused hanyou.

*To Kagome*

Kagome climbed out of the spring as she greeted her best friend. "Lez how did you get here?"
Calmly shrugging her shoulders Lez flopped down on the bench and watched as Tai and Ni found their super soakers and started their daily water war. "Eh, my grandparents are trying to get your mate to let me stay here so I don't cause chaos." she said as she calmly shrugged her shoulders flopping down on the bench to watch as Tai and Ni found their super soakers and started their daily water war.
Quickly rummaging around Kagome managed to find another robe in a nearby closet. She slipped it on and sat down beside Lez who seemed quite down. "What do you mean? As long as I have known you, you haven’t caused chaos."
Looking out the corner of her eye Lez gave a cocky grin as she gave a rather cryptic answer. "Shrine steps make excellent snowboard slopes."
The only thing Kagome could do was laugh at her friend's complete disregard for both the sacredness of the shrine grounds and the and the enjoyment she got out of watching the priests of said shrines wave their brooms at her as she zipped down the snow covered steps in the early morning. Every winter that Kagome had known Lez she remembered that the first deep snow of the season she would be woke up by someone tapping on the glass of her window and then for the rest of the morning until they had to leave for school watching Lez teach Souta and Ryuu how to board and at the same time pissing off her grandfather who wanted them to clean off the steps. "Lez, would you like to join me for a little soak. It's very relaxing."
Lez was getting ready to answer Kagome when a set of cat calls came from the water. The twins had stopped their little War and were watching them. "Yeah as long as I can kick their asses."
By the time Kagome had stopped laughing Lez had already stripped and joined the twins in a small game of water war. With a smile Kagome slipped out of her robe and back into the war to help even out the war just a little.
After just a few moments of happy splashing around the shoji slammed open and Sesshomaru came storming in. The demon lord stopped and snarled at the wolf hanyou who stood in the water dripping wet holding a super soaker. "No!"
Kagome huffed as she got out of the spring once again to hopefully overt a natural disaster. Strolling rather sensuously over to the stotic demon. stopping in front of him she looked him dead in the eyes for a moment before leaning in and whispering in his ear, "If you don't let her stay, then you won't get any for a very long time. In fact I will go back with her to Tokyo and you won't see me till spring thaw."
Sess knew by the tone of her voice that she was serious and that he had better rethink his offer to Kouga that was if he wanted Kagome with him and not in Tokyo with the wolf. With a slight tilt of his head he consented to Leslie's stay which earned a whoop from the hanyou and a tiny peck on the cheek from Kagome. Though it was just about that time that two voices spoke up from behind him "Kagome!"
Glancing around Sess, Kagome saw Ayami and Kouga standing in the door way looking like fish out of water. "Ayami, Kouga!?" Hurrying up Kagome snatched up her robe and threw it on quickly as she rushed over to greet her friends. With a huge grin Kagome hugged both Kouga and Ayami, and shook Riju's hand. "I didn't know you were here." Kagome said happily. Motioning toward the tub she continued, "Would you like to join us for a soak/water war." Koga and Ayami both agreed to soak while Riju decided to join the ongoing battle between his twin and the dog twins. Kouga, Ayami, Sessh, and Kagome got into one of the smaller pools and watched the dog versus wolf water war.
After about an hour Jacken came in and whispered something in Sesshomaru's ear, and just as quickly as the toad appeared he left. Kagome and the others waited for him to tell them what it was about, "It seems that Shippou just called. He say's that he will be here with in the hour with the Higurashi's. It is best that we get ready for them Kagome." With some small amounts of laughter every one got out of the springs and went their separate ways. Kouga and Ayami went to one of the many guest rooms to stay, while both sets of the twins dashed off to the Pagoda out back where their rooms were, and Kagome followed Sesshomaru back to his chambers.
~End for now~
Sess: I’m out of Scooby Snaxs.
Me: *with head phones on* 4…3…2…1..
Sess: Hey did you hear me?
Me: *tapping the floor and nodding*
Lez: She can’t hear you brain.
Sess: I’m not a big headed mouse so don’t call me that
