Chapter 2
Kagome woke up on the tenth day of her imprisonment. Well, she no longer sees it as a prison. Just a loving marriage with lots and lots of sex.
Two days ago, she was visited by a woman who goes by the name of Kagura. The nice wind youkai gave her fresh clothes and led her down the corridors to a new place to live. Naraku had said that Kagura is their house keeper and will tend to her needs.
Kagome really likes the new accommodations. She was starting to wonder why Naraku only allowed her to stay in the one small room with a bucket to do her business and another one to wash herself.
But then more memories would come and she didn't think it was any problem. That's just how marriage was.
She doesn't realize that every night while she sleeps, Naraku forces new memories into her mind. Memories of their life together. Memories of a man with silver hair and dog ears that constantly tries to hurt her. He fills her mind with false hatred and disgust towards the Inuhanyou, while making her love and trust him, Naraku.
Now, she is laying in a large comfortable bed in the center of a magnificent room. The room is connected to a nice bathroom with a large bath. She can actually see out of the windows now, so she knows when it's day or night.
Kagome smiles as she stretches her arms and sits up in bed. She turns to the door as Kagura steps through.
Kagura looked at Kagome with sympathetic eyes. 'Damn that bastard.' She stood next to the bed and set up a tray of food for the girl. "Here is your breakfast. Master Naraku will be in soon."
Kagome smiled brightly as she scooted to the side of the bed to start her meal. "Thank you Kagura. How are you today?"
Kagura gave her a sad smile as she responded. "I am well, Kagome. Tell me, how long have you and Naraku been married?"
Kagome's smile brightened as she easily answered. "Oh! Five years. I remember that day well. It was a beautiful ceremony and an even more amazing night." She winked as a light blush dusted across her face.
Kagura hid her disgust and thought maybe she can unlock a true memory. "Five years? Wouldn't that mean you married when you were only ten?"
Kagome cocked her head to the side as she took a bite of her Onigiri. When she swallowed, she responded thoughtfully. "I think you are mistaken, Kagura. We married when I was fifteen. I'm twenty now."
Kagura only nodded in response as she looked out towards the window. 'You even managed to fool her on her damn age.' She looked back at Kagome and bowed politely. "Well, enjoy your day Kagome." She turned to leave.
"You too!" Kagome yelled as Kagura walked out of the room.
Naraku arrived about an hour later after Kagome had finished eating and washed up in the bathroom. She turned and smiled brightly. She began to undress her kimono as what was usual for them. She eats, uses the restroom and washes up, dresses and then waits for him to arrive. Then she adheres to her wifely duties and whatever else is needed of her husband. She is only all too eager to comply.
"Kagome."
At her name being spoken in such a serious manor, she stopped disrobing and looked at him curiously. "Yes, my love?"
"I have something for you."
He walked up to her and pulled a bow and quiver out from behind his back. He handed it to her and watched to make sure it didn't trigger any memories for her, other than the ones he had planted, that is.
She looked down at the bow in her hands and smiled widely. "My bow? I feel like it's been ages since I've used it!"
Naraku moved a strand of raven hair from her face to behind her ear and kissed her softly. "Hai, Kagome. You have not practiced archery in some time. I thought maybe you could get reacquainted." He studied her seriously for a moment. "An enemy is approaching. Only you can destroy him."
Kagome's eyes widened as she looked at him. "Me? How?"
"Close your eyes, koi."
She immediately did as she was told. She trusts him completely. She felt his hands on her temples and then a rush of power flew through her. Her eyes snapped open and she stared at him in awe.
"What was that?"
"You do not remember?"
She shook her head so he began the process of giving her some new images. He watched as her eyes involuntarily closed once again. He showed her a different version of how she became a priestess.
She grew up in a shrine in the feudal era. She became a shrine maiden at a very young age and than met Naraku at the age of twelve. She knew another young boy who was thirteen at the time. His name was Inuyasha. She had a crush on Inuyasha but he always rejected her. He would pretend to be nice to her and then go off with another named Kikyo. One day when she was thirteen and he was fourteen, he kissed her and told her he loved her. Then she found him doing a lot more than kissing with the other priestess, Kikyo. She ran away crying after telling him she hates him.
After that, she welcomed the court ship of the other boy, Naraku. The entire time she was with him, Inuyasha would start trouble. She remembers one day the evil silver haired hanyou even tried to rape her! Luckily, Naraku was there to save her. They left that village and moved in together when Kagome was fourteen. Then she married him at the age of fifteen.
They travelled the lands, destroying evil with his youki and her reiki. Then a fight with the evil Inuhanyou had rendered her unable to use her powers. This silver haired dog tried to kill her and her husband. She had almost managed to kill him, but he got away. When she turned to her injured husband, she used what power she had left to save his life. Then gave up her bow at the age of seventeen.
Kagome opened up her eyes and her smile widened. "My powers are back!"
Naraku lowered his hands from her head and grinned down at her. "I have found a way to bring them back for you, my love. You are even stronger than ever before. You had your original power sealed away and I have reawakened them." He paused to gauge her reaction before continuing. "The evil one is fast approaching. You must destroy him when he arrives in just a few short days."
Kagome's smile turned into a cynical frown. "Inuyasha." She practically growled his name in disgust. "That bastard tried to rape me when I was fourteen! He hurt you and tried to kill me! I will tear that dog to shreds!"
Naraku chuckled as he took her bow and sat it up against the bed. "Hai, you will. Let us rejoice in our love first, tsuma."
Kagome immediately felt her body heat up with pleasurable passion as she grabbed him by the back of the neck and kissed him fervently.
°•°•°
The group just arrived outside of a village when they heard screaming. Inuyasha growled when they had wanted to stop but he wanted to keep heading north. The only thing that convinced him it was necessary was telling him they may be able to get a lead on the dark hanyou at the village. Especially if there is evil there.
A man ran up to them and stopped in front of Kikyo. "Miko-sama! You must help us! He is attacking our village!"
Miroku stepped up to the distraught male, his staff jingling. "Sir, I assure you we will help. May I ask what it is that is attacking?"
The guy turned to look at Miroku and bowed slightly. "Aye, monk. A boy has been staying at our humble village for the past few days, but he went crazy and started killing our women and children!"
Sango's blood ran cold. "A b-boy? What does he look like?"
He turned to Sango and analyzed her. "H-he looks like you! You both wear similar clothing. Please. If you know him, make him stop!"
Inuyasha growled as he ran from the group. Miroku sighed and followed him.
"Inuyasha! You must be rational. If this is who we think it is, you can't just go in with your sword, you must use your head."
"Shut up! I'm gonna grab the little brat and force him to tell me where Naraku is!"
The group came up to the center of the village to a horrifying sight. Fire, destruction, death. Women, children, elders. All dead or dying. Huts destroyed. Any men who try to stop him from hurting another, gets cut in half.
Sango walked up with tears in her eyes when the boy turned to face them, his weapon still poised above his head, about to attack a brother and sister about the age of four and six.
"Kohaku! Stop!"
Kohaku saw the woman and tears began to burn behind his eye lids. 'Why does that woman make me feel this way?' He looked back down at the cowering children, his hand shaking while holding up the weapon to attack. 'I don't want to kill anyone else.'
Luckily for everyone involved, the slight hesitation gave them the ability to stop him. Inuyasha rushed forward and grabbed Kohaku around the shoulders, he slammed him on the ground and knocked the weapon out of his hand. He pinned his arms down and then looked at the crying children.
"Run! Go somewhere safe!"
The kids nodded their heads as they scrambled to their feet and rushed to their father who was kneeled over their dead mother.
Inuyasha growled and put a clawed hand around Kohaku's throat. "Where is Kagome!? Tell me where Naraku is hiding!"
Kohaku looked at him with glazed over eyes as he hears the sinful voice. 'Tell them. Lead them to us, Kohaku. Then escape. Do not engage.' Kohaku's eyes cleared and he said, "North, about six days walk from here."
Inuyasha growled. "Six!? Feh, I'll get there in four at the most." He hopped off of the boy and ran without another word.
Sango helped Kohaku up and hugged him. "Kohaku. Do you remember me?"
Kohaku stayed completely still, but a tear leaked free. 'I don't like hurting you... but I must go...' He quickly pushed her away, grabbed his fallen weapon and ran without another word.
"Kohaku!" Sango fell to her knees and allowed her tears to fall.
Miroku wrapped an arm around her and she turned into his embrace to hug him as tears freely streaked down her face.
"We will save him, Sango. I know we will."
She nodded against his chest as she stood and looked around at all the damage. "We should help the injured and pray for the dead before we follow Inuyasha."
Kikyo spoke up. "I can heal the wounded quickly. You all go, I will easily catch up."
Without any arguments, the rest of the inutachi left atop Kirara.
°•°•°
Twelve days. Naraku can hardly believe that he managed to not only capture the beautiful young priestess, but fuck her over and over. She really believes she wants him. His smile widens when he thinks about the look on Inuyasha's face when he finds out what his little whore has been up to.
'Maybe I'll just have her injure the mutt and than allow them to take her.' He chuckles evily. 'Yes. The jewel will be tainted much more if Kagome realizes what she has done, and if the mutt witnesses some of that himself.'
He walks into Kagome's room with a smile on his face. "Hello, tsuma."
Kagome turned and smiled brightly. She can hardly believe it's that time of day again, but she's not complaining. She stands up from the chair she was sitting in and quickly takes her clothes off. By the time she is fully bare before him, so is he.
He quickly grabs her by the throat and slams her onto the bed. Her eyes widen and a small tingle of fear ran through her.
"N-Naraku?"
"Shh. Just go with it, my love. I won't hurt you."
Kagome calmed her heart rate and focused on the throbbing cock settled between her thighs. She nodded her head and felt as his other hand started to probe her entrance. She moaned as she spread her legs further for him, bucking her hips slightly.
'I'm going to make sure no position is left before Inuyasha tries to mate her.' Naraku smiled as he kissed her hard before speaking huskily against her lips. "Hands and knees." He let go of her throat and backed off of her.
Kagome blushed, having never done it this way before, but quickly listened. She turned over onto her stomach and then pulled herself up onto her knees. She spread her legs slightly and felt as he got onto his knees directly behind her.
"Good girl."
She felt as he began to probe her wettened core with the tip of his erection, causing her to moan and get even wetter, dripping onto the bed below them.
"So wet for me, tsuma." He purred from behind her.
Kagome whined lightly. "N-Naraku, please."
'Oh yes, I will definitely make sure Inuyasha knows Kagome begged for my cock.' "Please what, my love?"
Kagome moaned as she rocked her ass back towards him and then let a frustated growl out when he backed away. "Please fuck me!"
Naraku smiled as he stroked himself with one hand and squeezed her ass cheek with the other. "I don't know, koibito. Are you sure you want this?" 'Inuyasha is going to be devastated when I show this to him.'
Kagome fisted the sheets below her as she started to drip more and more in need. "Yes! Kami, I need you to fill me up, Naraku. Please! Please give it to me, my love!"
Naraku chuckled lightly as he slipped just the tip inside, earning another strangled moan from the woman on her hands and knees before him.
"Please... I need it..."
"As you wish, my beautiful little Miko." He slammed himself as deep as he could go and immediately fucked her hard and fast.
Kagome screamed in pleasure as she finally got what she wanted. "Yes yes yes yes!" Each thrust from him, earned another 'yes' from her.
Soon, Kagome's walls spasmed around his throbbing cock, causing him to release his seed deep into her womb. She screamed his name as she came.
Kagome collapsed onto the bed and sighed, completely content and sated. Naraku pulled out of her and stroked her hair, kissing her forehead before standing to get dressed.
"Rest, tsuma. Our fight starts soon."
Kagome only nodded her head before falling into a blissful slumber.
°•°•°
Naraku stroked Kagome's hair softly. Today is the day he must let her go... For now. Oh yes, he will have her back. But first, he must break that dog and Kagome's spirit even more. Once she hurts him and then remembers who and what she is... He smirks just thinking about it.
Whore... defiled... used... impure... degraded..
Even if the mutt still wants her, which he doubts is the case, Naraku has taken her in every way possible. No matter what, Kagome won't be able to lay with Inuyasha without thinking about him. He chuckles quietly to himself. According to Kanna, who he had ordered to guard the jewel, it had darkened considerably since Kagome had arrived.
Kagome opened her eyes and blinked sleepily at Naraku. She yawned and stretched before smiling warmly at him. "Morning."
He kissed her lightly before sitting up in bed. He looked at her as she sat up next to him and gave her a convincingly worried look.
"What's wrong, my love?" Kagome asked as she grabbed his hand and stroked it lovingly.
"Inuyasha is near."
Kagome paled and her eyes flashed with anger. "I need my bow."
Naraku inwardly smirked as they got up to get ready for their guests.
°•°•°
After fourteen days without Kagome, they finally found the hidden castle.
Inuyasha's ears perked up as he sniffed the air. "Naraku!"
His friends had caught up with him shortly after he ran away. Miroku, Sango and Shippo on top of Kirara and Kikyo using her shinidamachū.
Miroku asked, "you can smell him, Inuyasha?"
Inuyasha turned to his friends and grinned. "Keh. He is definitely close." 'You just wait, bastard. I'm gonna fucking kill you!'
They ran for another thirty minutes and than a castle came into view. They didn't give it a second thought as to why it wasn't very well hidden. They only knew that Naraku was definitely inside. And judging by the scent, so was Kagome.
Little did they know, Naraku had made their presence known on purpose.
Without missing a beat, Inuyasha unsheathed Tetsusaiga and the blade turned red. He ran towards the barrier surrounding the castle and easily tore it down.
"Kagomeeee!"
Everyone stood at the ready. Inuyasha in the front with his sword held firmly in both hands. Sango slightly behind and to the right of him with her Hirakotsu secured in her right hand. Miroku slightly behind and to the left of Inuyasha with some ofuda ready, grasping the beads around his kazaana. Kirara is standing behind them with Shippo protected on her back and Kikyo is about ten feet behind her, with her bow at the ready, an arrow notched.
What they saw, shocked them to say the least.
"Kagome..." Inuyasha mumbled.
The young Miko walked out of the front entrance wearing a light blue kimono with pink sakura blossoms scattered along it. Her hair is done, making her look like a hime. She has a bow and an arrow at the ready with a determined look on her face.
As she walked forward, about thirty feet from the group, Naraku showed himself as he walked up behind her. They noticed that Kagome wasn't showing any fear whatsoever of the evil hanyou.
"Kikyo-sama..." Miroku whispered. When she glanced over at him, he asked, "does Kagome have a shard imbedded within her?"
Kikyo looked and shook her head. "No, monk. Her soul is corrupted but not with the Shikon no Tama. It seems that Naraku must have corrupted her mind some other way."
Inuyasha growled and held onto the hilt of his sword tighter. "Bastard! What did you do to Kagome!?"
Everyone's blood ran cold when they heard a laugh. Kagome was laughing. She looked absolutely crazy and giddy at the same time.
Kagome turned to look at her husband and raised a hand to his cheek, stroking it lovingly. Naraku leaned down and kissed her, and when she showed absolutely no resistance, Inuyasha growled and his demon began to emerge.
Kagome pulled back and whispered, "I love you, my otto."
"And I, you, tsuma."
When Kagome turned back to the group, she didn't notice the cynical look of the one she calls husband. She notched an arrow and pointed it directly at Inuyasha's heart.
"What are you doing here? We left you behind years ago! Did you think you could try and rape me and get away with it? What about when you tried to kill me and my husband!?"
Everyone stared on in complete shock. It was definitely worse than they had thought. Not only did he control her mind, but he made her think she has been living in the feudal era for years, if not her entire life. Inuyasha hasn't even known her for six full months! She also believes Inuyasha tried to do unthinkable things to her. If they are going to save her, they are going to have to think up a plan. And quickly.
"Wh-what!?" That was the only thing Inuyasha could say.
Kagome's aura flared in anger as she looked at all the members of the group. Her eyes landing on one in particular. She laughed once again. This time sounding much more insane than the last.
"You even brought your whore!?" She glowered at the older priestess and spoke directly to her. "He didn't leave you yet, bitch? He seemed awfully attached to me when he tried to force himself on me!"
Inuyasha couldn't take it anymore. Between the hurtful lies, the looks she is sending him that he never thought he would see from her, and the arrogant asshole standing at her side.. His own aura flared, making everyone around him tense up.
"Enough!" When Kagome looked back at him, obviously unphased, his eyes flashed red. "Snap the fuck out of it, Kagome! I'm your fucking mate! Come back to me, koi!"
Kagome's reiki sizzled around her once again in extreme anger. "LIAR!" Without allowing another second to pass them by, she let the sacred arrow fly.
Inuyasha blocked the attack with his Tetsusaiga, causing it to transform back into its dormant state. Kagome immediately notched and charged another arrow. This one was blocked by a barrier.
Kikyo held the barrier strong and Miroku said, "she is much stronger than I have ever seen her, Inuyasha. This may be harder than we initially thought."
Inuyasha growled as he sheathed his useless sword. "What the fuck do we do?" His inner demon is beginning to emerge more and more, especially now that his Tetsusaiga is dormant.
Kikyo whispered, "we'll just have to capture her and run. I believe I can restore her true memories."
Inuyasha looked into her eyes and nodded his head irritatedly. "Feh, fine. But as soon as Kagome is safe and sound, we are gonna come back and kill that bastard!"
Miroku spoke up. "We should at least injure him so he doesn't immediately try and come back for Kagome-sama." They all nodded their heads in agreement as they heard Naraku speak.
"Are you all just going to stand there? What's the fun in that?"
Inuyasha growled as he left Kikyo's protective barrier and jumped into the air. He sliced at Naraku and yelled out, "Sankon Tessō!"
Kagome did something that they have never seen before. She erected a barrier around Naraku and herself. Then she shot a charged arrow at Inuyasha. He didn't have time to dodge it, so he used his arm to block it. The arrow imbedded itself in his forearm, causing him to scream in agony. He fell to the ground and ripped the glowing pink arrow out before it completely disintegrated his arm. He winced as it burned his palm, but dodged out of the way just in time for another arrow to expload the ground he was crouched on.
"Kagome, listen to me!" He dodged yet another arrow.
Kagome had tears running down her face but she didn't know why. All she knew was anger and hatred towards this man. She must get her revenge.
"Shut up! Die, Inuyasha!" This final arrow hit true, straight through his chest. His eyes widened as he fell to the ground onto his knees. Kagome smiled triumphantly as she put her bow onto her back. She turned and saw everyone else inside the barrier and cocked an eyebrow at them. "Well? Are you going to leave us alone? Or are you going to fight?"
Naraku was smiling, happier than he could ever remember being. He watched as Inuyasha turned human right before his eyes. Sure, he could kill him right now... but what would be the fun in that? It would be much more entertaining to watch him and Kagome suffer even further. Now for the next phase of his plan. Allow them to take the girl away.
"Kagome."
Kagome turned from glowering at the rest of the group to looking up at her husband. "Hai?"
"I want you to know something... Remember our time together, everything you begged me for. Everything we did." He saw the confused look on her face, so he cupped her cheek and kissed her lightly. "Remember." He whispered into her ear, "I will always come for you, my love. You will never get away for long."
Kagome shivered at the huskiness of his voice before looking into his eyes and nodding her head. She doesn't quite understand what he is implying, but she trusts him. She turned back to the group who seemed to be formulating a plan. Then she looked to the now passed out human Inuyasha and sneered.
"Kagome!"
Her attention was quickly changed to the little voice in the distance. She cocked her head to the side as she saw a little fox demon run up to her. She quickly pulled her bow back out and notched an arrow in his direction.
"Who are you!? I don't want to hurt a child, but I won't hesitate to protect my husband!"
Shippo stopped next to Inuyasha and sniffed him tentatively. He let out a breath of air when he realized he was okay. The arrow only transformed him, didn't kill him. He turned to see his friends giving him nods of encouragement. Then he looked up at Kagome with sad eyes.
"You don't remember me, Kagome?"
While the kitsune was distracting Kagome, Miroku snuck away from the group. He put up his own barrier, this one to hide his presence as he tip toed his way behind the evil hanyou and young Miko.
Kagome looked down at the little boy and had to admit he is pretty adorable. "Why should I remember you? I've never seen you before."
Shippo started to cry and sniffle as he hesitantly stepped closer. 'I have to keep it together!' "I always saw you as my mother, Kagome. You took care of me. You bathed me and fed me and slept with me. Don't you miss me? I miss you." He looked down at his little fox feet sadly.
Kagome's hold on her bow wavered just slightly. She doesn't remember this boy, but he seems to think he remembers her. But that's impossible! She has been living happily married to Naraku for five years! This kid can't be older than seven. She couldn't think on it any further then that because the barrier set by naraku had been destroyed right before she lost consciousness.
During Shippo's distraction, Miroku was sneaking closer and closer to the two. He silently thought about how strange it is that Naraku isn't fighting them, only observing. But he let those thoughts go. It didn't matter as long as they got their friend back.
When he stood behind Naraku's barrier he looked towards Kikyo. He sent a small flash of his barrier to let her know he is ready.
Immediately Kikyo shot an arrow through Naraku's barrier and into his chest. Naraku clutched the hole left behind and glared at them.
Miroku slapped an ofuda to Kagome's back, causing her to lose consciousness. He held her safely in his arms inside of his now protective barrier.
Naraku didn't mind the small price of his injury, as long as the rest of his plan continued as he wished. He chuckled as he floated into the air in a brand new barrier.
"Kukuku. You may take the girl for now. But remember, she will never be the same. Oh, and I will be back for my little whore." Then he was gone.
°•°•°
It's been five days since their altercation with Naraku and rescue of Kagome. When they left the castle, they headed straight for Kaede's. Miroku kept Kagome sealed in a dreamless sleep, so she didn't freak out when she was awoken. They had just arrived at the old Miko's hut the night before and are now speaking about what to do about the young girl of the future.
Kikyo spoke up after a long silence. "Sister Kaede should speak to her alone. See how far gone she is. Ask her questions about her life and what she knows of us. Obviously she thinks some pretty awful things about myself and Inuyasha, so we shouldn't see her." She glared at the hanyou in question when he was about to argue. "She also doesn't seem to recognize the rest of you, so Kaede's presence should not upset her." She turned to her younger sister. "After you get the answers you need, give her something to help her sleep. A true sleep, not a forced sleep. Then I will come in and try to help her regain her memories. I may need to give her the rest of her soul back in order to do so."
Inuyasha gasped when she said that. "Kikyo... You don't mean to die, do you?"
Kikyo sighed. "Me or Kagome, Inuyasha. Who is your choice?" Inuyasha didn't respond verbally, but he looked away guilty. She smiled sadly at him. "It is okay, Inuyasha. I am already dead. Just, do right by her. Protect her from Naraku and remember this; Kagome must be the one to destroy him in the end. She has already gotten much more powerful but when the remainder of her soul is returned, she will grow much much stronger."
Everyone remained silent for a time. Then they all quietly agreed that this is the best course of action. The small group of misfits left the hut, leaving Kagome in the care of Kaede. Miroku was the last one to leave. When he left, he turned back and placed a sealing ofuda on the outside wall to keep Kagome from being able to run away. He sighed as he sat against the exterior of the hut.
Inside, Kaede sat next to the comatosed girl. "Such a young child. What did he do to ye?" She sighed as she stroked Kagome's raven locks. Then she sat her up and slowly pulled the ofuda off of her back before laying her back down. She watched as Kagome's eyes opened slowly.
Kagome opened her eyes and groaned. 'Where am I?' She turned and saw an elderly woman in priestess robes looking at her sadly. "Wha..?" She looked around the small hut and started to panick. "Where's my husband!?" She stared wide-eyed at the old woman.
Kaede looked at her sympathetically. "Husband? Who is yer husband, child?"
Kagome looked at her warily. "N-Naraku... Do you know him? Where am I?"
Kaede shook her head thoughtfully. "I am afraid I do not. I found ye passed out not too far from here. Can ye tell me yer name?"
Kagome sat up slowly and leaned up against the wall of the hut. She wrapped her arms around herself and took a deep breath in.
"K-Kagome..."
Kaede nodded her head in the affirmative. 'At least she knows her name...' "How old are ye, Kagome?"
Kagome cocked an eyebrow at her. "What does it matter? I just want to go back to my husband."
Kaede reached forward and grasped Kagome's hand in hers, noticing the small flinch it invoked. "'Tis is important. I must make sure ye are not concussed and do not suffer from memory loss from whatever ye have been through." She lied easily.
Kagome nodded her head in understanding. She might as well get through this questioning so she can find her husband as soon as possible. "Okay... I'm twenty years old."
Kaede's one good eye widened slightly. "Twenty? Ye look to be fifteen, are ye sure ye are twenty?"
Kagome rolled her eyes and scowled at her. "Of course I'm sure! Naraku married me at fifteen. We have been happily married for five years!"
Kaede stroked the back of Kagome's hand gently and stayed perfectly calm. "Aye. Forgive me, Kagome." Kagome stared at her for a long moment before relaxing. Kaede smiled at her and continued. "I must ask some more... personal questions. Is that okay?" When Kagome nodded, she began. "Are ye a virgin, Kagome?"
Kagome's eyes widened and she blushed. "Wh-what does that have to do with anything!?"
Kaede squeezed her hand to reassure her and allowed her reiki to calm the girl. "I mean nothing badly about it. Please, would you answer my questions?"
Kagome grumbled and pulled her hand away to cross her arms across her chest. "Fine. Let's just get this overwith. No, I am not a virgin." The two women heard gasps come from just outside the hut, making Kagome nervous. "Who the hell is out there!?"
"Calm, child. We are in a very small village. Many people are passing by. Please, let us continue."
Kagome stared at the hut entrance for a long moment, but when she didn't hear anything else, she looked back at the old Miko and nodded her head.
Outside of the hut, Inuyasha is grasping his now working Tetsusaiga in both hands. 'Fucking bastard! I shoulda fucking killed him!'
Miroku was squeezing his fists together, almost as pissed as Inuyasha. If Kagome isn't a virgin, that either means Naraku planted lies into her mind or... He shook his head, trying not to think about it. They will learn the truth sooner or later.
Sango was letting out silent tears as she clutched both Kirara and Shippo to her chest. 'That bastard raped her! Oh, Kagome...'
Shippo cried into Sango's chest. As a demon, he understands all about adult concepts. He knows the difference between consensual and non-consensual mating. He knows that Kagome would never willingly be with Naraku. He knows she loves Inuyasha. She has only said it like a million times!
Even Kikyo is showing her upset at this information. Now she knows what she felt in her soul. What Naraku had done to break the poor young woman. It makes perfect sense. And that kiss they all saw... She sighed and looked down at the ground beneath her feet.
'I will make up my past mistakes to her. I will save her soul and then rest. I will do this for you, Kagome. Just... Make Inuyasha happy...'
About ten minutes later, Kaede called for them to enter. Miroku removed the ofuda on the hut and then everyone entered one by one. They all sat down in a circle, watching as Kikyo sat directly next to Kagome.
Kaede sighed before speaking. "I am assuming ye all heard everything?" At their nods, she nodded in return.
Everyone stayed silent as Kikyo observed Kagome's aura. She frowned at the darkness within her. She turned to Inuyasha and smiled sadly.
"I cannot heal her without using the piece of my soul that resides within me. The choice is yours, Inuyasha. Tell me with words. Who do you wish to save?"
Everyone turned to the wide-eyed hanyou. He sat in silence for a moment before standing up and walking outside. Immediately, they heard his wind scar destroying a ton of trees. They waited patiently for him to blow off his anger before he came back and sat on the other side of Kagome. He stroked her hair lovingly and then looked up at Kikyo.
"I'm... I... I love her..."
Kikyo only nodded and gave him a watery smile. "I know you do. I loved you, Inuyasha. I am sorry for what had happened to us. I wish I had more faith in you back then." She looked down at Kagome and then back up to him. "And you deserve someone who loves you for who you are. I am sorry I could not be that person."
A single tear fell from Inuyasha's eye as he hugged Kikyo from across the sleeping girl. "I loved you too... It wasn't the same as I feel for Kagome, but it was love. We just weren't meant to be. She... She's my true mate, Kikyo." He pulled back and continued to look at Kagome's sleeping form. "I love her so much, it hurts. I can't lose her. I just... I can't..."
Everyone knew not to say a word. They listened quietly and allowed the ex-couple to say goodbye.
Kikyo nodded her head and layed next to Kagome. "Good-bye, Inuyasha."
"G-Good-bye, K-Kikyo..."
Everyone watched as Kikyo linked her hand tightly with Kagome's. Immediately, the two women started to glow pink as Kikyo's eyes closed and she went limp.

Darkness.
That's all there is. Who is she? Where is she? What's happening? Why is everything black? Why can't she see? Is she dead? What's going on?
"Kagome."
Kagome gasped and turned around at the sound of a voice. A woman's voice. Someone she recognizes but can't quite put a name to the voice. She locked eyes with a beautiful young women in priestess clothes.
"Wh-What's going on?"
Kikyo smiled sadly at the girl. It's time to help her return to her body. "Kagome, I know what you went through. Now that I have linked what little bit of your soul I have to the large amount still within you, I can see it. I can feel the pain and the suffering you went through. I am sorry. But I must help you to remember. I know you don't want to. You don't want to see Inuyasha because you are worried about what he will say. What he will think. But know this, Inuyasha loves you and wants you back. Will you allow me to help you?"
Kagome stared at her in shock. That name... Inuyasha... Why does it sound familiar? "Wh-What happened to me? You said you know. Will you tell me?"
Kikyo stepped closer to Kagome and held out her hand. "I am sorry, but it would break the rest of your soul if you were to know before I bring you back. If you accept, then I will use the light within my piece to merge with the darkness of yours. I will be able to heal you enough to bring you back to yourself. Sadly, you will remember the events you had gone through.. even the fake memories he fed you.. But you will know what was real and what wasn't." She paused and took a deep breath in. "You will also have to fight the darkness that will try and corrupt you. Because you will remember, you won't be the same as you once were. If you allow the darness to overcome you, then you will eventually cause the jewel and the bastard who holds it to win. Remember Kagome.. Remember the girl you were two and a half weeks ago. Funny, smart, a little clumsy, beautiful and pure. Don't forget that you are still pure, Kagome. No matter what he told you, you are pure. Now, grab my hand and you will live the life you always wanted.. with Inuyasha.."
Kagome listened to every word that this young woman said to her. Obviously something awful had happened to her. Something that could completely break her. But it seems that there is a man out there who wants her to live. Who loves her and who she must love in return. Will it be worth it to save herself, remember whatever hell she went through to be with the man she loves? A man she can't even remember?
A determined look came across her face and she nodded her head once as she reached forward to grab Kikyo's hand in hers.
The darkness around the girls brightened in a pink light. Kagome looked around as all of her memories flashed around her in small images.
The time her little brother was born and she held him for the first time.
When her father died and she had to fight tears to help her mother take care of the infant.
Meeting her best friends, and always going to Wacdonalds after school.
Falling down an old well and meeting a handsome hanyou.
Trying and failing at turning down the advances of a human boy from school and a wolf youkai from the past.
Travelling the Sengoku Jidai with the beautiful hanyou she had met, meeting other friends along the way.
Falling head over heels in love with said hanyou.
Shippo, her little kitsune.
Miroku, the lecherous monk.
Sango and Kirara, the wonderful taijiya and nekomata.
Fighting Naraku and collecting jewel shards.
Then...
She closed her eyes as tears fell. "No!"
Kikyo continued to allow her soul to heal Kagome's. She used up what spiritual power she had left to calm her, so she may finish with her task. "It's okay, Kagome. You must remember."
Kagome opened her eyes and watched all of the awful things that has happened in the last couple of weeks.
The day Naraku took her.
A few days later when she woke up and he raped her...
Multiple days of countless rapes, countless touching and licking and fucking...
She stopped fighting...
She stopped caring...
She wanted to forget... She wanted to die...
Then she willingly gave herself to him...
The image of Inuyasha that made her want to forget completely. It made her want to give up. How could she see him again after what she did?
Kikyo's voice reached her in that moment. "You had no choice. Do not worry about a thing, Kagome. Just get through it and Inuyasha will be waiting for you. Now, remember what happened after you begged to forget..."
More images...
Kagura giving her new clothes and taking her to a much more suitable room..
Naraku having a schedule for sex and feeding her lies..
He told her awful things about Inuyasha and made her forget the others.
"Kami..." She put the hand that isn't holding Kikyo's to her face... She remembered begging for Naraku to fuck her. "No... Inuyasha, I'm so so sorry..."
Kikyo embraced her then, allowing the younger women to cry on her shoulder. "It's okay, Kagome. He will understand... We are almost done... Remember..."
More images...
Fighting her friends. Shooting Inuyasha... Turning him human. She gasped, but was quickly reassured by Kikyo that the hanyou is perfectly fine and healed.
The last words Naraku had spoken to her...
"He will come for me..." She whispered into Kikyo's shoulder.
Kikyo rubbed Kagome's back to help calm her down, allowing some of her remaining reiki to flow through her. "Inuyasha will protect you. Stay with him. Listen to what he says and never give up." She pulled back to look into Kagome's tear filled eyes. "Are you ready to wake up now?"
Kagome took a deep breath in and let it out slowly. She nodded her head and then she was shrouded in darkness once again...
Inuyasha and the others watched as Kikyo's light started to fade little by little. Eventually, her body disappeared and the small pure light that was the remaining piece to Kagome's soul entered the young Miko's body.
Kagome opened her eyes slowly, the first thing she sees are the golden eyes she knows and loves.
"Inu..yasha?"

A/N: How was chapter two? I hope you are enjoying the angst! I haven't written one quite like this before and I gotta say, I am proud of it.
Something else I have definitely never written before is a good hearted Kikyo. I am absolutely a Kikyo hater... Sorry to those who love her, but I do not. So writing her this way was hard at first, but I began to really enjoy it. I hope I have done her justice!
Please leave an honest review and tell me what you think! Thanks again for reading!
