Bullet to the Heart Ch. 9
Sango awoke with a slight chill. When she looked around she could see Magic and Flower still asleep. Both were healing quite well. Magic had recovered and Katari was exercising her arm as it healed.
Sango had felt terrible, completely lonely after Inuyasha had been taken from her. She thought he had been killed until the Fox youkai assured her that she would know if he was dead. That was when she had started talking to all of the spies that she could get in touch with. Sango found out where Inuyasha had been taken and was being held captive. She had also found out that the whole terrorist meeting was a trap set by Naraku. Since then the Major had contacted everyone in the unit and started planning Inuyasha's rescue mission. Once that was done, she sent word with Intelligence to the Admiral to advise him of what they were planning to do.
A sudden and terrible pain ripped Sango away from her thoughts. She doubled over and fell out of her bed and onto the floor with a loud crash and scream of pain. This startled Magic and Katari out of there sleep.
"Major, are you alright? What's wrong?" Katari asked, yelling to the screaming figure on the floor.
Sango couldn't answer her pleas, the pain was too unbearable. She felt as if a fire was slicing her insides with knives. All she could do was stay there in a fetal position and try not to scream.
"So, it has begun." that was all Katari managed to get out before she herself started to cry.

Inuyasha could only watch as some men came and took Daimon away. The Wolf still had some fight left in him, but he lacked the strength to use it. He yelled and snarled at his captors as he was dragged off by his chains. Inuyasha tried to break his bonds but it was no use. The chains had some sort of spell on them that prevented him from breaking them.
InuYasha glanced around at some of the other prisoners in this holding cell. He could see that most of them were from special forces but one caught his eye. It was a weasel youkai. He was wearing regular clothes, everyone else had tattered tactical suits. Inuyasha felt he had seen him before and tried his luck at seeing if his hunch was right.
"It always rains in the Spring." Inuyasha said, waiting for the weasel demon to hear him.
"It always rains in the Spring." Inuyasha repeated for the demon to hear.
"Ahh, yes. But the birds are beautiful." The demon countered. "How do you know Military Intelligence codes?"
"Never mind about that now. Where are your cohorts? Do you have a tracer on you?" Inuyasha asked with a commanding tone.
"To answer your question. They are near and yes I have one on me. They should arrive soon." It was said at a near whisper so only Inuyasha was privileged to hear this information.
Inuyasha winced at a slight pain in his chest. He could feel his mate's mark erupt in fire. Inuyasha let out a howl of despair since he couldn't be with his mate during a time of need. Inuyasha could only hope that Sango was being taken care of.
Two other men came into the holding cell and started to take Inuyasha with them. He waited until they unclasped his chains from the rock wall and then attacked. Inuyasha took his claws and sliced through the top half of the first man. Then, turning to the other, Inuyasha took one of his chains and wrapped it around the man's throat. He used his demon strength to pull the chain tight until he heard the man's throat crush. With that over, he began to make his way to the door. He got just outside and was stopped by a barrier that was placed there to keep anyone from doing just what he had tried.
Inuyasha cursed as he was losing consciousness. The last thing he remembered was more men entering and starting to beat his limp body.

Magic took a wash cloth and dunked it in the cold water Katari had brought him. He wrung it out and set it on Sango's form on the bed. She had passed out from the immense amount of pain and the full and half demon had put her back on her bed. All they could do was try and keep the Major as comfortable as possible. That was all Katari would say to him. He kept trying to get her to tell him what was happening to the ExO, but she would just shake her head and tell him not to worry about it.
Magic rose and went over to Katari and held her close to him. He was planning on mating with her as soon as they had were finished with the op. But, that was looking to be a long time away now. He looked at her and she shook her head telling him that they would wait until their assignment was complete. That was when both of their heads turned to Sango, who seemed to have regained some kind of consciousness.
When Sango awoke she still felt like she was burning inside, but it wasn't as intense. Then she felt as if the bones in her hands were being compacted, her hands felt as if they were under extreme pressure. When Sango raised one up to examine her eyes widened in shock. There at the end of each of her fingers were....claws. She turned her eyes to look at Katari and Magic as they came to sit beside her on the bed.
Katari saw Magic's eyes widen as well when he saw the claws. That was when she thought she should explain. She got their attention and started to explain that Sango had mated with a half demon. When that happens between a hanyou and a human, the human will under go a rigorous transformation. She explained that since Sango mated with an Inu hanyou, she would begin to develop his same powers. She also explained that normally her mate would be with her and would comfort her in this time of transformation, as well as start teaching her how to control her newly developed powers.
Sango nodded and wondered why Inuyasha hadn't told her of this before going on this op, but quickly forgot as her mouth started aching in pain. She closed her eyes and laid back down on the bed and tried to tough it out.
The pain stopped after a few hours. Sango raised her head to look at Magic, he smiled at her and asked if she felt any better. When she replied that she did. Sango realized that her words didn't form correctly and that Magic had fallen off his chair in a shocked daze.
"You...You have fangs Major!!" Magic yelled aloud as he regained himself and rose up from the floor.
That was when Sango felt them with the tip of her tongue. She was fascinated by them at first but realized that she would have to learn to eat and talk with them. She could still feel her body burning, but again, this was nowhere as intense as the first time.
"Katari, I feel as if my insides are on fire. Do you know why?" Sango asked with a worried expression. Not sure if she really wanted to know.
Flower just nearly freaked out. She started apologizing to Sango for not telling her about it and told her that it was completely normal. Sango's blood was starting to transform from human to a half demon's blood. It was sure to burn for the entire transformation but her body would adapt to it and make the pain lessen.
Magic came over to them with bowls of soup on a tray and offered one to Sango. When Sango took a spoonful in her mouth she spit it out quickly saying that she believed Magic put too much seasoning in it. He told her that it was completely bland that there was no seasoning in it at all. Again, Katari came to the rescue, explaining that as an Inu hanyou Sango would have stronger senses than she was used to and that it sounded like her sense of taste had transformed. Katari also explained that soon she would start to smell everything and that it would take some time to work that out so that she could ignore most of them.

When Inuyasha woke up he was in a room all alone, it was smaller than the holding cell that all the prisoners were in. It had a huge bright light in the center which is where he was located. Inuyasha noticed he was strapped down to a cold metal table and was completed unclothed.
Naraku stepped just into his field of vision. Inuyasha used all his remaining strength to try and break the straps that held him to the table. When he failed, Naraku just smiled at him. Naraku put his hand up in the air and waved to another. When this person came over to him Naraku told him to begin. A piece of wood was placed in Inuyasha's mouth and tied tightly with a string around the back of his head. He was then drenched with a bucket of freezing cold ice water, making his skin prickle at the coldness of it. It was then that this torturer picked up an electrode with a sponge attached to the end and placed it on Inuyasha's arm.
Inuyasha had never felt so much pain in his life. He screamed like he was about to die. When the man pulled the electrode away Naraku stepped forward.
"Colonel, I want this to be clear. I will not be captured by the likes of you and your pitiful little band of demons. I believe your mate is going through the same thing you are going through. You should have heard her scream when I raped her over and over." Naraku said this with his eyes gleaming pure evil.
Inuyasha couldn't believe it. There was no way he had Sango. He would have fe...The electrode was set upon his thigh and he was again in a world of pain. The man move the electrode to the same spot on his other leg and began his torture again. This proceeded for another hour with the man touching everywhere on Inuyasha's body with the electrode except his head, mating mark, and his most sensitive areas.

Sango was screaming again. Magic and Katari had done all they could. Soon they saw her mark glowing and knew that this had to be what Inuyasha was feeling. Magic finally had no other choice. He was a kitsune youkai and had training in all sorts of spells. He got a piece of paper and wrote a few spells on it then placed it on Sango's mark.
Sango felt most of the pain leave her except for the pain she was feeling from her transformation. Her senses had fully developed by now and according to Katari, she was nearly through with the transformation. By tonight she should be fully transformed.
Magic told her what he had done and also told her that Inuyasha would not know what had happened to her. They were connected through those marks and he had just blocked her from sending or receiving feelings through it.

Inuyasha was full of fear. He lost all connection with Sango. He couldn't be sure that she was dead, because he hadn't felt anything that would cause her death. Unless she died from the torture he was receiving. He was a half demon and she was only human.
Inuyasha looked into the big light in the room and was soon jolted with more electricity. Then to his shock, more ice water was poured onto his body. It almost hurt worse than the electricity.
Naraku stepped again into Inuyasha's vision and to Inuyasha's horror, Naraku took the electrode from his man. He went over to Inuyasha and touched his chest. Inuyasha moaned and bit down on the piece of wood in his mouth.
"I don't think the voltage is high enough. Turn it up two notches." Naraku commanded.
With that he gently touched and raised the electrode in a different spot. This time stars appeared before Inuyasha and he screamed again. The pain was too intense he couldn't stand much more. It was then he saw Naraku moving the electrode to his head and farther up to around his ears. Inuyasha again screamed in immense pain as the electricity coursed through his body as the electrode touched his ear. When Naraku was done with that, he moved the devilish device to between Inuyasha's legs and let it set there for long time. Inuyasha had put up with most of the pain, but this time it was just too much. His scream was cut off as he blacked out, his mind trying to save itself from receiving the pain signals from his body.

Katari went to Magic and asked him to leave the room so she and Sango could have some privacy. Magic did as he was asked hoping he would still be able to protect them. Everything was going fine and they would be going after Inuyasha tomorrow as soon as Sango's transformation was complete.
Sango looked at Katari when Magic closed the door behind him. Katari told Sango to undress. Sango again looked questioningly at Katari but soon did as she was told, getting out of her tactical suit down to her bra and underwear. She was again taken by surprise when Katari blushed and said she needed to take everything off and lay on the bed.
"What am I doing this for Katari?" the Major asked, agitation in her voice.
"Major, your body is about to physically change. Your muscles are going to grow slightly, including your breasts. You tactical suit would be to restricting to allow this change. Don't worry I brought another suit with me that is just a little larger than your other. I thought this might happen while we were on the mission." Katari advised.
Sango looked at herself in the mirror and started to realize that her black raven hair was starting to change to gray hair. Then as more of it changed she realized that it was silver.
"Major, you really need to lay back down. I have been told this hurts...a lot." Katari said almost apologetically.
Sango's body went rigid as a wave of pain as intense as the first transformation hit her. She finally saw why Katari told her to undress as her head got used to the pain. Her body began to get that chiseled out of stone muscle look, her muscles enlarged not by much but just enough to increase her strength. It was fast and fairly painful, but just like all the rest, it soon passed. As she sat up Katari shook her head.
"You aren't finished yet Sango."
'What else is there left to change?' Sango thought, and then it dawned on her.
Sango's head erupted into pain yet again. She wasn't sure if she could take anymore. She put her hands to her ears and then was completely frightened when they weren't there. She moved her hands up to the top of her head and felt two triangular furry ears. Sango opened her eyes, not really remembering when she had closed them, to look in the mirror to see her brown eyes with golden streaks in them staring back at her.
"You are now completely transformed, Major." Katari said, nearly bouncing with joy.

"Hey, Inuyasha. Wake up damn you. Don't let him beat you." Daimon yelled at his friend.
Inuyasha opened his eyes to find himself still naked and chained back to the wall in the holding cell. He was still aching from his torture. He was thinking of his mate, wondering what was happening to her. 'Damn Naraku, I will kill him if it's the last thing I do' Inuyasha thought to himself. He was still weak and could barely move or talk. He just kind of growled at Daimon's attempts to talk to him. Inuyasha just sat there chained to the wall - cold, hungry,in pain, but not broken.

He was still weak and could barely move or talk. He just kind of growled at Daimon's attempts to talk to him. Inuyasha just sat there chained to the wall - cold, hungry,in pain, but not broken.
