Chapter 51

Tired Workers

Everyone met at the club that night. They were all exhausted but managed to drag themselves in. Miroku handed the girls they're outfits and sat at the bar waiting for them to get changed.

"Rin won't be wearing the outfit." Sesshomaru said.

"I understand. Rin's outfit is a plain black dress. Nothing provocative." Miroku said.

"She'll have to quit soon." Sesshomaru told him.

"I know. I'm sure I'll find another worker by then." Miroku said.

"It's a good thing smoking isn't allowed or Rin would have to quit now." Inuyasha said.

"She wants to keep working. She'll probably fight to work longer." Sesshomaru said.

Kagome and Sango came out wearing Genie outfits. They had a see through cover for over their mouths. The shirt went just over their breasts with long see through sleeves. They're pants were long and see through from the butt down. Kagome's was red, Sango's was purple, and Rin was wearing a black dress.

"Genies?" Sango said.

"Kaede thought of it, not me." Miroku said.

"I never would of thought Kaede would make these kind of outfits." Kagome said. "I should go visit her some time though."

"We'll be in the back." Miroku said as they guys left.

"I swear, those guys have no life whatsoever." Rin said.

"Your just mad Sesshomaru isn't paying attention to you." Sango said.

"Am not!" Rin shouted.

"So, you're moving in with Sesshomaru?" Kagome asked.

"Hai, I'll be living at his place." Rin said.

"It's going to be lonely without you." Sango sighed.

"Why don't you ask Miroku to move in with you?" Rin teased.

"Shut up Rin." Sango said annoyed.

"What? I'm just suggesting it." Rin shrugged her shoulders.

"How about we get to work? There are people coming in." Kagome said.

"Hai." Sango and Rin said.

"I'm so tired." Kagome yawned.

"Me too." Rin said.

"Tonight seemed to last forever." Sango said. "As soon as I get home I'm going to sleep."

"Same here." Rin said.

The guys came walking in to check if they were ready to leave. "I've decided to close the club for a while. I don't know how long, so I'll let you know when I'm going to open it." Miroku announced.

"Any reason why?" Sango asked.

"I think everyone needs a break from working. We should celebrate Rin's pregnancy." Miroku said.

"That's a great idea." Kagome said.

"How about we have it tomorrow at eight? You can invite friends and family." Miroku said.

"That sounds great, but where should we have it?" Rin asked. Everyone looked to Sesshomaru.

"Fine, we can have it at my place." Sesshomaru said even though he didn't want to.

"Great! Sesshomaru's at eight." Miroku said.

"I'll have all the food and stuff ready so you don't need to bring anything." Sesshomaru said. "Let's go Rin."

"Bye everyone see you tomorrow!" Rin said as she left.

"I'll lock up." Miroku said.

"Come on Kagome." Inuyasha said.

"Hai, ja ne." Kagome waved.

"Ja ne." Sango waved.

"Do you think Shippo will want to come?" Kagome asked Inuyasha as they got into the car.

"Probably. The little runt would go anywhere if you were there." Inuyasha said. "Besides, Kohaku will be there."

"I guess." Kagome said.

Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo arrived home. Shippo was sleeping in Inuyasha's arms. He was knocked out when they went to pick him up. He had played video games the whole day. Inuyasha walked to Shippo's room and put him to bed.

Kagome walked into her room and got dressed for bed. She put on one of Inuyasha's shirts. She needed to do laundry. All of her nightgowns were dirty, no thanks to Inuyasha. Once the shirt was over her head she got into bed and pulled the blanket up to her neck.

Inuyasha walked into the room and stripped down to his boxers. He crawled in bed next to Kagome and wrapped his arms around her. He brushed the hair away from her neck and kissed her.

"Oyasumi nasai." Kagome said.

"Oyasumi." Inuyasha mumbled.

Sango and Miroku had just walked through her front door. Miroku took off his shoes and jacket. "I'm going to change. You can have a seat on the couch." Sango said.

"Hai." Miroku said.

Sango came out moments later in her pajamas. She was wearing a big white t-shirt. She walked over and sat down next to him. "I'm guessing your sleeping here?" Sango said.

"Hai." Miroku said. "So, Rin is moved out?"

"Hai, she got the rest of her stuff before we left for the club." Sango said.

"Oh." Miroku said. "Why don't we live together?"

"I don't know." Sango said. "You never asked."

"Why didn't you say something?" Miroku asked.

"I don't know."

"So where do you want to live? My place, or yours?"

"I never agreed to moving in together." Sango crossed her arms.

Miroku wrapped his arms around her. "I'm guessing you want me to move here, right?"

"Of course, I don't feel like packing my stuff." Sango said.

Miroku laughed and kissed her. "I'll gather my stuff tomorrow."

Sango turned around and kissed him on the lips. "Good." She smiled.

The next morning, Kagome and Inuyasha woke up to someone kicking them. "Oi, Kagome, quit it!" Inuyasha said annoyed.

"Quit what? You're the one kicking me!" Kagome shouted.

They both sat up knowing that something was wrong. They moved the blanket and found Shippo with his feet where his head should be. "Shippo!" Inuyasha yelled. He'd ruined his sleep and kicked him. The runt was going to pay.

Shippo woke up and sleepily rubbed his eyes. "What?" He mumbled as he sat up.

"You little brat! You kept kicking us and woke us up!" Inuyasha yelled. "What the hell are you doing in here anyway?"

"I don't know. I don't remember coming in here." Shippo said.

"You little liar!" Inuyasha shouted. "Come here brat!"

Shippo yelled and jumped off of the bed and out the door. Kagome tried to grab Inuyasha but he was too fast. He was already out the door by the time she tried to grab him. "Inuyasha!" She shouted.

Kagome jumped out of bed to make sure Inuyasha wouldn't do anything that bad to poor little Shippo. She laughed when she walked out the room. Inuyasha was on the floor with Shippo pulling his hair.

"I'm going to get you for that brat!" Inuyasha shouted. He stood up quickly and chased after Shippo again.

The phone rang and Kagome went to answer it since Inuyasha was preoccupied with something else. "Hello?" She answered.

"Ah Kagome."

"Mom, hi."

"I'm calling to make sure what really happened a while ago. Ji-chan told me some wild story, but I don't really believe him. I know how he likes to stretch the truth."

"What happened a while ago?"

"Well, Ji-chan told me he went to visit you and ask you to come home. He said he told you he was sorry for everything he's done, but Inuyasha walked up to him and said some mean things to him. I know this happened a while ago, but I had to make him think I believed him."

"That's crazy! He never came here to apologize! He called me a whore!" Kagome shouted.

Inuyasha and Shippo both stopped what they were doing. "Go to your room for a while Shippo." Inuyasha said.

"But-"

"Do it." Inuyasha said in a tone that left no room for argument. Shippo went to his room. Inuyasha walked over to the phone and grabbed it. "I assure you whatever that crazy old man told you is lies."

"I see. That's what I thought. How about you tell me what happened?"

"He came along after Kagome got off of work and called her a whore for what she was wearing. She has fun at her job but her clothes aren't the most appropriate thing in the world to wear." Inuyasha explained. "He keeps forcing Hojo to see her and she doesn't want him too. I told the old man that she was mine and to never see her again."

"You said that?" Kagome asked.

Inuyasha ignored her and waited for Kagome's mother's answer. "Well, I'll have to talk to Ji-chan about that. All he said were lies. And he's stupid to think I'd believe him. I'm sorry that he said that horrible stuff."

"It's ok. I won't be held responsible for what happens the next time I see him." Inuyasha said.

"I don't think he'll be bothering you anymore. Not after I'm through with him. I'll call back later."

"Bye Ms. Higurashi." Inuyasha said.

"Bye Inuyasha, and tell Kagome I'll call later." Ms. Higurashi said and hung up.

Inuyasha hung up the phone and went to Shippo's room to tell him he could come out. "Inuyasha, did you really say that?" Kagome asked as she followed him.

"It's not like I lied to your mom." Inuyasha said.

"Oh." Kagome said.

I know this chapter took forever to get out and it's probably not the best I've written but it needed to be done. Sorry I took such a long break. I have a bit of writer's block. I was also with my friend who's leaving for California for a week. Then after that she's gong to Korea for two months. So I'm trying to spend some time with her before she leaves. I've also been busy with some stuff. My allergies are really starting to get the better of me. But here's the chapter. Send me some ideas because I'm having a hard time thinking of some. Hope you like it. Let me know what you think. Ja ne.

Ryosuke-3- I don't know how many chapters there will be. I guess once I start running out of ideas or it seems to be getting old then I'll stop.

Tvsweetie- No, Kagome won't quit because Rin will have to stop working.

jane()- Kagome's not going to quit working at the bar. And about the saying I love you thing between Inuyasha and Kagome you'll have to wait and find out. You'll also have to wait to see if she gets pregnant or not.

INIEisMINE!!()- You can still have sex while your pregnant. I think if you get too far into pregnancy then you'll have to stop. But I don't know all the details So I could be wrong.

Spike of Doom- On my vacation so far I slept a lot. I went to my mom's house even after she cancelled on us. I was with my friend who's leaving. Mostly I've been catching up on some much needed sleep. During the school year I had a bad case of insomnia or at least that's what I call it. I was going to school with only two to three hours of sleep almost the whole year. Besides I've been really stressed out so sleep will also help that. My allergies are killing me right now. Thanks for asking what I did on my vacation!

Kougagurl666- I can't really tell you everything about Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship but I can tell you that he's not just staying with her because of the baby.

Eqlar()- No nothing is wrong with me. I was just taking a much needed break from writing.

Just a friend()- Sesshomaru and Inuyasha can have last names. You can get it legally changed you know. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. Also it's a fic so does it matter what they're last names are? There could be many reasons for them to have last names. So don't go around calling me an idiot unless you think of all the possibilities ok.
