Chapter 8

Guess Who?

As he wandered deeper and deeper into the warehouse, the place started to signify that it had been occupied for quite some time. The walls were painted black, for some odd reason. It smelt very moldy and stuffy, but he didn't let that fool him. He stopped walking when he heard a noise. He sniffed the air. He could still smell Kagura, but there were the faint odors of others. Then his nose picked up on the scent that he was very familiar with.

"Kagome." He whispered to himself as he started to pick up his speed. He carefully maneuvered himself around the corners, meeting not a soul as he did so. But he must have spoke too soon because suddenly as he flew around the corner Kagura was standing there as if she was waiting for him.

"It's about time you got here, I was beginning to think that someone had killed you off before I could." Kagura sneered at him.

"Shut it bitch." Inuyasha spat out, his words covered with venom.

"And why exactly should I obey your commands?" She asked raising a brow. He growled at her and mentally smacked himself for not sensing her earlier. "Is the little doggy getting mad?"

"Listen here. You tell me where Kagome is now, and I won't kill you." He threatened baring his fangs to get the message through. She laughed at him.

"Is the puppy going to try and hurt me?" She said in a baby tone, but then changed it back to her ice-cold one. "I ain't telling you nothing about your little bitch."

He could feel his demon blood pulsing in his veins and it was hard for him to keep control when the woman before him was pushing every button that he had. He glared at her with all the hate and loathing he had for her. He didn't say anything, not wanting to let her provoke him further to make an inappropriate move.

"If you'd like to see your whore though…you just have to play a little game with me." She snickered at him.

"I didn't come here to play your little games woman. Where is Kagome?" He demanded clutching his hands into tight fists as he shook with anger. She rolled her eyes at him before suddenly bolting off to her right and out of sight. He stared blankly at the spot where she just was unable to get what she was planning.

He shoo himself back into reality and took off right after Kagura. He knew for a fact that he could catch her, only she had completely disappeared from his sight. But that didn't stop him. He followed her scent trail. He sped up hallways and down them, finding himself anywhere but near her. Then he stopped at two large metal doors that looked as if they were leading to a heavy-duty kitchen. He sniffed the air again to try and figure out where Kagura had disappeared to, only he picked up a better smell that he had been missing.

He opened the doors soundlessly and listened for anything. He heard a faint breathing and metal hitting metal. He rounded the corner looking for her.

"Kagome?" He asked quietly. The noises stopped and Inuyasha thought that maybe it was wrong choice.

"Inuyasha?" Her soft and timid voice replied as if being strung along a thread of silk. He ran further into the room until he saw her small figure sitting on the ground with her legs folded under her. As he got closer her head turned in his direction and he saw her face. She was pale and there were tearstains on her cheeks. Her eyes were bloodshot and there were bags under her eyes. A smile that he had missed seeing flashed across her face.

"Kagome…" Inuyasha whispered as he collapsed in front of her. He immediately pulled her into a tight embrace-careful not to strain the hand attached to the cuffs. He pulled away to look at her beautiful face that he saw in his dreams. A single tear streamed down her cheek, but Inuyasha wiped it away with the pad of his thumb.

"Don't cry, everything will be just fine. Don't worry." He said smiling weakly at her. He let his hand cup the side of her face and he gently stroked her cheek with his thumb. She leaned into his touch and let her fingers dance across his wrist gently. He gazed into her eyes looking for the longing that he hadn't been able to see for a long time. But her eyes weren't focused on him, but on something behind him. He'd been to caught up with just having her there to pay attention to the world around him. He spun around and let his arm drop to Kagome's shoulder.

"Kikyou? Wha-why are you here?" He questioned curiously. She looked at him from behind the aviators, shielding her eyes from giving herself away to him.

"I heard that she was taken, and I just had to come. I couldn't just stay there and wait for the inevitable to happen." She said faking sympathy.

"Really?" Inuyasha asked. "But how did you know about Kagome? You've never met her before?"

"Oh at her party I met her." She said taking a step closer. Kagome started to tremble and Inuyasha looked back at her. Her eyes were filling up with tears.

"Don't listen to her Inuyasha, she's lying to you. She only wants to cause us harm, please don't listen to her." She whispered shaking her head. He turned back to look at Kikyou who had gotten closer drastically.

"What's wrong Inuyasha? Your eyes are doubtful." She said putting her arms behind her back. He looked back at Kagome whose eyes held so much truth and pureness. "Inuyasha? Are you feeling all right?"

"Kikyou, I suggest you leave now." He said rather bitterly. She looked at him with the same facial expressions. He turned away and then reached over to the pipe where Kagome was handcuffed.

"What?" She said fiercely.

"I said leave, you're not needed here." He replied grabbing the chain connecting each cuff to the other. But he didn't hear her leave.

"What are you trying to say? That you don't trust me?" She accused.

"I guess so." That's when her anger started to flare.

"Inuyasha…you believe her over me? You've known that little whore for a few days, and you've known me for almost ever!" Kikyou roared.

"Do us all a favor Kikyou and go fuck yourself."

"Why don't you go fuck your little bitch you've got there? Or how about I slit her little throat?"

"You'd be dead before you ever laid a finger on her." Inuyasha said nonchalantly.

"So…she's why you left…she's why you don't want me anymore…she's the one that's keeping you there, away from here…I get it now." Kikyo said backing up a bit. "You chose love over lust. You love her, and you don't want someone you don't love."

Inuyasha ignored her. He wasn't sure if he loved Kagome, but he really did care for her. He wasn't sure if he even knew how to love, or what love feels like. He had never felt strongly about another person before-like this. Kikyou backed up into the table, causing things to fall over. She bent down and started to pick them up. Inuyasha looked back up at Kagome's face where she seemed to have gotten paler.

"Are you all right?" He asked looking into her eyes. She nodded but then as if someone had placed a hand on her throat she started to speak slowly.

"I…In…Inu…" She tried. Before she could finish a scream erupted from her mouth. "BEHIND YOU!"

Before Inuyasha could turn around, Kikyou had thrust a facecloth over his mouth. He tried to pull away from the foul smelling facecloth, but she kept a tight grip on it. He was about to yank her arm away when he started to get dizzy. He looked at Kagome's worried face with confused eyes. Slowly his eyelids started to droop and he was fading into unconsciousness.

"Inuyasha? Inuyasha!" Kagome started to cry with wide eyes. Kikyou tossed the facecloth away when she was sure that he was out. She hefted him up so that she could hook her arms under his. She dragged him to the pipes adjacent to Kagome. As if planned she pulled out thick ropes and hastily started to rope his hands to the metal tubes behind him. Kikyou was blocking Kagome's view so that it was hard to tell exactly what she was up to.

"Now that you two are reunited, we can finally have some fun!" Kikyou almost cackled as she glided out of the room. Kagome stared at Inuyasha with glossy eyes, ready to start crying. She knew that she was only here so that they could make Inuyasha suffer. She might as well have killed herself off a while ago just to save Inuyasha the hurt. She closed her watering eyes and tried to think of a happy thought-something to make her smile again. But she couldn't remember anything past her eventful stay here at `Chez Shit-hole'.

She thought back to when she had first saw Inuyasha came into the room. Her heart had almost risen to her throat and she could barely talk. His face looked so relieved and all she wanted to do was wrap her arms around him and never let him go. She almost started crying out of pure joy. But then she showed up. She thought bitterly about how Kikyou had tried to fool Inuyasha into believing the inevitable. Then slowly she remembered her words like she knew her own fears.

"So…she's why you left…she's why you don't want me anymore…she's the one that's keeping you there, away from here…I get it now…You chose love over lust. You love her, and you don't want someone you don't love.

Kikyou was implying that Inuyasha loved her. Kagome knew that it was nearly impossible, she didn't even know how she had fallen in love with him in such a short period in time. Kikyou's words made her even more confused than she already was-she didn't want to think any more. All she wanted to focus on was getting out of here, and better yet-trying to save Inuyasha from breaking inside and out.

"Any news?" The man behind the large and bulky chair asked. Kikyou made sure not to make any mistakes to lead her boss into not trusting her.

"Yes sir. He's bound and currently out cold. He did not follow Kagura as expected, unless she wanted to lead him to her. But so far they are both out of my sight as of currently." She spoke with high authority.

"Thanks you, you are dismissed. It will be a while until the chemicals wear out." He replied in a stone-cold voice as he lightly drummed his fingers in perfect tune on the arms of the chair.

"Yes sir." Kikyou said bowing her head before following through with his command. When he felt her presence no longer around he spun around in the chair and at the same time pulled out a small but compatible phone from his breast jacket pocket. He dialed a few numbers before pressing it lightly to his ear. A young but professional voice sounded from the other end.

"Hello sir." She asked politely as she gave him her full attention.

"Hello Sakura, its everything in order?" He asked with an emotionless face on.

"Of course, just phone me back when you are prepared."

"Very well, good job." He said as he flipped his phone shut.

He placed the phone back in its original place before folding his hands up near his mouth. He let the silence consume him as thoughts flashed across his mind like Racecars on the raceway.

"Soon little brother, soon." He mumbled to no one in particular.

"Inuyasha, oh please wake up!" A soft voice filled his head and he could feel himself coming back to reality. His head spun slightly and he felt like he had just been put on a swing and spun at 100 mph.

"Mm…" He moaned as he tried to pry his eyelids open. He managed to open his eyes into slits when he heard the voice again, only a little louder. There was little light and he couldn't see much.

"Inuyasha!" He heard again only more urgent. He opened his eyes more and looked around to see the source of the voice. He saw a figure with a mass of black hair flowing from their head. He closed his eyes and tried to bring his hands up to rub them when he realized that he couldn't move his hands. His eyes shot open and he focused them more. His eyes darted around the room until they landed on the girl across from him.

"Kagome." He whispered to himself as he stared at her petit form. It was almost calling out to him, just to be held in his warm embrace.

"Your awake! Finally." She whispered across to him. A short smile lit up her features and he felt his insides warm up.

"How long was I out for?" He asked scanning over the room.

"I don't know, a few hours?" She estimated as she continued to play with her handcuffs in attempt to break free. He continued to look at her until he saw a finger mark on her upper thigh. He eyed the short white shorts that she was wearing and then at the red marks on her leg. Immediately he started to question her.

"Are you alright?" He asked with a serious tone in his voice.

"Yeah, just peachy." She replied not looking at him.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm positive." She said a little irritated. He didn't take notice and his expression softened a bit when he spoke again.

"Then why do you have finger marks on your leg." He looked at her with gentle eyes when she looked at him. Her free hand shot out and covered the mark.

"I-It's nothing." She said trying to hide the fact.

"Kagome, if its nothing then why do you try to hide it?" He asked, it almost hurting him to see the mark. She didn't reply but he could feel her tears welling up inside her eyes. "If I could, I would come over there and hold for all eternity. I would whisper in your ear that everything would be alright, but I can't."

"I know." She whispered. She looked into his intense gaze and almost wanted to gnaw her hand off just to get to him. He looked down at the ropes that kept him at bay from reaching the one that his heart yearned for and noticed some odd looking pieces of paper. They were some sort of charms that were clearly keeping him from just simply ripping off the binds. He knew that there was no point in struggling, Kikyou wasn't stupid.

"Inuyasha," Kagome whispered softly, not looking at him. "W-what did Kikyou mean earlier when she said that I'm the reason that you're staying away from here?" He looked at her with wide eyes, only to see that she was looking down at her lap. He didn't think that she had actually paid attention to that. He looked up at the ceiling and sighed.

"She was at the party and caught me up stairs. We go way back Kagome you have to understand. We started to argue and she almost begged me to take her back. And she asked me what was keeping me away from her, away from my `home' with people like these…" He trailed off, wanting to run a hand through his silvery locks. He wasn't sure that he wanted to tell her this in a place like this.

"And? Is that it?" She asked timidly.

"Kagome, I'm not an expert on anything, and how to say it either, but Kagome I-" He was cut off by a loud crash of the metal doors opening. Kikyou strolled in with a smirk on her face and a man hot on her heels.

"You're awake I see." Kikyou said glancing at Inuyasha briefly. He looked at her with a disgusted face before looking at the man in the white suit behind her.

"Unfortunate to see you still alive." He snapped back pulling hard against the ropes. She ignored him and took a seat in the chair off to the side. Though the man didn't follow.

"May I?" He asked sparing Kikyou a glance.

"Of course Naraku." She said almost as if she was the devil's advocate. He almost glided towards Kagome as if a supernatural being. When she didn't react to the close distance between them he bent down onto his knees. He looked at her face, which was turned away to look at Inuyasha. He let his fingers dance up her leg to where he had left the previous mark.

"I see that it's still there." He said smirking disdainfully at the two of them. Inuyasha growled at Naraku as he heard the words come from his foul mouth. Naraku squeezed a little harder on the mark, which made Kagome's head snap towards him and her hand connect with the side of his face. He could feel the slight sting of the impact but didn't acknowledge the pain that she had caused.

"Feisty eh?" He said while snatching up a lock of her hair. She whimpered as he kept a firm grip on her locks. He slipped a key out of his pants pocket and unlocked the link around her wrist. When it fell off of her wrist he didn't hesitate to throw her forwards near Inuyasha. She screamed as she was launched onto the cold and hard concrete floor. She looked up at Inuyasha with fearful eyes almost begging him to help her. He shook with anger and tried even harder against the ropes to break free.

"You fucking leave her alone you bastard!" He hollered as he bucked against the pipes behind him. Naraku cast him a glance before sending his foot into Kagome's side. Her body curled around the foot when it slammed into her side. Kagome then started to cough and soon tiny droplets of blood followed. It started to trail down the side of her mouth she placed her palms flat on the ground and pushed herself up. She shakily brought herself up to full height and looked at Naraku with anger.

"Bring it baby." She said out of pure anger, almost not sounding like herself. Naraku was about to respond when the air around her started to glow a faint pink. He passed it off as nothing and stepped forward to the changing woman. Just as sharply as he felt the burning sensation in his throat the pink glow turned drastically to a dark red. He coughed softly before bringing a hand up and backslapping her. As he would've thought her body to fall and a whimper of pain to erupt from her mouth, but it didn't happen. Her head snapped to the side, and not a word left her mouth. She looked back at him, looking like she had been possessed. She thrust her open hand into his stomach and he flew across the room. All eyes started at the two in confusion.

His heart was racing and a hand rested on his stomach. He sat up with his breath raggedly leaving his body. His eyes were full of fire and hatred towards the girl whom he was having troubles with. Slowly he rose to his feet and started for her at such a pace that it would've seemed as if he was a blur. He was only feet from her when the burning sensation came back. He let a sharp roar escape as he threw a fist at her face only to swipe at air. Kagome didn't seem to have moved as she kept looking at him with the same eyes as before. He pulled his hand back to place it on his throat where he felt the pain. He swung his leg at her only to miss again. His rage only heightened as the pain got worse and his attacks missed. Then he did the only thing that he could think of as effective. He charged at her and tackled her to the ground with a force that could've killed anyone.

She seemed almost immobile as the man thrust her to the floor. She couldn't act on her behalf or even struggle when he pinned her arms above her head. With his free hand he placed it on her throat and slowly let it wander further south. Inuyasha watched with horror as Naraku had her on the ground but he was also getting a benefit in his perverted mind. Naraku looked wildly at her bosom where he just wanted to grab without hesitation. Though the white almost see-through shirt had drops of dark red on it, and there were only more appearing. The only place where they could be coming from was himself. Then he shot a hand up to his throat. His hand started to get warm and damp as he rubbed it rapidly. He retracted his hand and stared in pure shock at his blood soaked hand. He let go of her and both of his hands started to try and find the source of the blood as he started to pour more out. Then his finger found a tiny hole that was leaking blood, followed by another and another.

He opened his mouth to say something, but he couldn't find his voice. Blood starting to drip from his open mouth onto the girl below him who was flinching as the drops splattered her face and upper-body. He tried once again to speak but he then started into a fit of coughs. He couldn't breathe even when he focused everything he had on it. He sat up straighter on the woman who he was now straddling and started to gag. He took one last look at the woman below him before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fell onto Kagome lifeless.

"Playing the tough girl now are we?" Kikyou said with pure hatred as she rose from her chair. "A little special girl we have on our hands now do we?" Inuyasha started to pull harder at the ropes as he saw Naraku's body just lying there on his poor Kagome. He was still is a state of shock from seeing the holes just appear on Naraku's neck like there were tiny bugs burrowing inside his throat.

"You are going to be so sorry that Naraku didn't kill you." Kikyou smirked at the girl under the body. She walked forward and grabbed the back of the white blazer. She pulled him back with no effort and then kicked him away as if he were a soccer ball.

"Get up." Kikyou ordered. Kagome didn't move from the ground. "I said get up bitch before I make you!" Kagome got up as ordered, trying to save herself from getting killed. As soon as she was on her two feet a dagger was thrown at her, just narrowly missing her and slicing her arm. Kagome looked back at Kikyou who's hair was tied back in a messy ponytail. She was holding another dagger almost identical to the one that was thrown at her only seconds ago.

Kagome took one look from the sharp knife to Kikyou before slowly retreating to Inuyasha who was only just behind her. Kikyou smirked at her, thinking that she was retracting in fear. When Kagome felt her heel hit Inuyasha she looked back to see him staring at her clearly confused. She took one last look at Kikyou before crouching down and starting to tear off the tiny charms that she was familiar with. Kikyou must have known what she was doing because she came up behind her and grabbed her hair just like Naraku had done. Inuyasha's body lurched forward as if he was trying to grab her with the arms he couldn't use. She closed her eyes and grabbed Kikyou's hand that was close to tearing out her hair.

"Ready to die bitch?" She asked almost cackling madly. Kagome then felt the cold sting of the blade against her neck as Kikyou got ready to send her out of this world. Kagome could feel Kikyou's breath on her face and if she only opened her eyes. She saw her family and friends' faces flash before her eyes, their smiling faces waiting for her to see them once again. Then she opened her eyes and saw Inuyasha's worried face, which also held anger and rage.

"Why the fuck are you doing this Kikyou?" He demanded trying to buy Kagome time. She looked at Inuyasha, his plan being successful.

"Because I like watching you suffer Inuyasha. Mind your own fucking business." She snapped at him wanting to get it over with. Kagome looked at Inuyasha once more before placing her feet flat on the floor and pushing herself into Kikyou and shoving the both to the floor. The blade was thrown away from her throat and she quickly spun around only to see Kikyou's angry face.

"Why won't you just die!" She screamed before lunging at her. Her hands grabbed Kagome's throat and started to squeeze with all her might. Kagome grabbed her hands and started to dig her nails into her hands. Kikyou wasn't about to let go, no matter how much blood Kagome drew. Kagome was fading fast, and she couldn't even suck in one breath. Her grasp on Kikyou's hands was fading and her vision was darkening.

"I-Inuyasha…"Kagome choked out before she blacked out. Kikyou gave one last squeeze before letting her go and getting up. Her hair was messed up and she had beads of sweat sliding down her forehead. Inuyasha stared at Kagome with glossy eyes. He wasn't about to cry, but he couldn't help it. A single tear slid down his cheek as he closed his eyes. Thoughts of Kagome's happy and smiling face passed through his mind as he started to get angrier by the second. Then his eyes opened revealing blood red ones.

"Finally she'd dead." Kikyou said exasperated. She looked back at Inuyasha who's appearance had changed as of recently. He wore a mask of pure rage and two slight purple stripes were on his face. She looked at him curiously before suddenly he yanked forward and suddenly water started to shoot from the broken pipes. He pulled his hands out of the ropes and threw them away. Kikyou stared in horror at what he'd just done as if was supposed to be impossible.

"H-how di-d you?" She asked with wide eyes.

"Shut it. You don't want those to be your last words." He spat at her, his words dripping with hatred. He started for her with the water almost flooding the place.

"Y-you w-wouldn't kill m-me, w-we can b-be togeth-ther…" Kikyou stammered, looking at him in a way as if she were begging for her life.

"We were over a long time ago."

"I t-thought y-you love-d me?" She backed up a step as he took two more towards her.

"I never did love you, and I still don't."

"B-but you s-said t-hat you loved me?"

"No, you wanted me to say it."

"B-but you tol-d me…y-you don't l-love then?"

"I have and do, but not you." He said stepping closer. She started to tremble at his advancement.

"What? S-so y-you love not m-me? T-hen who?"

"Someone failed school I see. I'm fucking ready to rip your insides out through your mouth because you killed the only one I love. She's dead because of you and that doesn't really make me want to thank you." His eyes flashed gold for a second. "You took her away from me when all I wanted was to be with her." A few tears started to roll down his face, though his stoic mask remained emotionless.

A few feet away, Kagome stirred. She felt like she had fallen into an ocean of darkness where you were neither dead nor alive. She opened her eyes cautiously and looked around her. She suddenly felt like she was still in that ocean drowning in the dark, only there was light and she wasn't alone. The water was ice cold and she felt like she had just been pulled from the grave. She took in quiet and raspy breath's as she let her eyes wander around the room. Somewhere around her she heard two voices arguing. She tried to bring her body up to look but her muscles were dead. She immediately recognized the male's voice as Inuyasha's though the other she wasn't so sure. The only other one it could be was Kikyou. She barely heard the end of their brawl.

"I didn't kill anyone but her! Are you saying that it's her?" Kikyou shouted at Inuyasha, unable to process what she was hearing.

"Yes," Inuyasha's voice was wet with emotion. "I love her."

Kagome wasn't sure what she heard. She didn't know whom they were talking about only Kagome couldn't be sure about anything. She was a little disoriented.

"You can't mean that." Kikyou said, watching the gold flicker through his eyes more powerfully than the last few times.

"I love Kagome." He said once again, more firmly than the last time. Kagome literally froze at the words. He had said it with such emotion, like he was crying. His voice was wet with tears, and he was shaking slightly. He thought she was dead, like she had left him alone in this world. Her heart felt like it would burst from those words. She didn't think that anyone other than herself could be such a fool to fall for someone after such a little amount of time. At the moment she just wanted to hold him and cry, and confess her feelings too, but she couldn't move as she would've liked.

"I'm sorry, but I don't need to hear this shit anymore. I might as well let you join your bitch in hell." She said letting her hand disappear behind her back to draw out another knife.

"I don't think so." He said only a few steps away from her. She grabbed onto a shard of glass that she had come across after he had broken the pipes. They were all dripping wet from head to toe and all their clothing was plastered to them. She held it tightly before lunging at him. He dodged it like a professional and grabbed her hand. He squeezed it to make her drop the shard but she still held onto it even when it drew blood. She kicked him in the stomach trying to make some space between the two. He backed off a bit only to have her start to swipe the shard at him. She had barely even nicked him when she fell back to catch her breath.

"Done killing me yet?" Inuyasha asked with a smirk. She lunged at him again holding the shard in front of her as she sped forward. She moved out of the way and let his claws fly through the air. They sank through the flesh in her back as she retaliated. She let out a grunt as she fell onto all fours breathing deeply. She spotted her dagger sitting in the knee-deep water right in front of her as she smirked at no one but her reflection. She picked it up as she raised to her feet. She looked back at Inuyasha dripping water from everywhere. She held the dagger in front of her with a dangerous look across her face. She ran towards him and tried to stab him in the chest. But he was smarter and spun her around by her hand and held her tightly up against his chest. He held her own hand pressing the blade against her own neck.

"Funny how we always end up in situations like this eh?" Kikyou said slowly, making sure her words were clear.

"But this time you're going to die."

"I don't think you have it in you."

"It's not for me. It's for Kagome." He said. As he said her name, his voice cracked up, revealing how upset he was. He closed his eyes and let a tear fall down. He opened his eyes to reveal golden sun-kissed ones. "See you in hell Kikyou."

He ran the blade across her throat harshly slashing all the veins along the way. The blood started to seep out of the wound and Kikyou grabbed her throat with both hands, dropping the blade. She dropped into the water where it immediately turned red. Her hands came up beside her and she was definitely dead. He kicked her dead body, which made her body start to float away. He turned back to where Kagome was lying to go get her, but he didn't see her. He had expected her body to have floated away but he couldn't find it.

"Looking for something?" Came a cold voice from behind him. He spun around to come face to face with the one demon who he had hoped not to see for a long time. He had the same silvery white hair that he supported only it was longer and more feminine. He had cold eyes and a mask that was void of any emotions. He supported a fluffy white boa and a white suit with a floral design down the side. Above his golden orbs he had a shade of light lavender eyeshadow, giving him the look of a metro-sexual. He had stripes on his face, much like the ones that Inuyasha had when his demon blood took over. In his arms held out before him was a pale-faced Kagome. His hand covered her mouth so that she was unable to speak.

"Kagome!" Inuyasha nearly cried as he saw her alive. He had thought that she was dead, but he must have been very wrong. He got over how glad he was that she was alive, but he wasn't sure for how long as she stayed held tightly in her brother's arms. Sesshoumaru, his half-brother whom he thought to be halfway around the world by now.

"Hello dear brother." Sesshoumaru said as he looked at Inuyasha.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" He asked completely stupefied by his sudden appearance.

"Still the same untamed bastard I knew you as." He commented dryly.

"What are you doing here?" He asked again, this time a little more vicious.

"Let's just say that I'm paying you back for a little mistake." He said simply.

"What?"

"Oh don't play dumb with me Inuyasha. You know bloody well what I'm talking about." He said tightening his grip on the girl.

"I don't know what you're talking about! I really don't!" He said taking a step closer as he saw Kagome wince in pain.

"I guess all that shit did stuff to you. You never were the smart one, though I never expected you to be so stupid." He spat.

"What the fuck are you talking about? Are you going to tell me or just play this little game of yours?"

"You don't remember? Then how about I refresh your memory?" He said as he raised a claw to Kagome's neck.

There's the end of chapter 8. I'm close to finishing chapter 9 because I work fast, ha ha. So stay tuned to find to find out!
