I have nothing important to say except boy do I have some kick-ass story ideas. My brain is storing up a freaking hurricane! ha ha, well anyway here is chapter 10 like promised.

Chapter 10

Home sweet home?

Kagome shivered once again as she laid her head on Inuyasha's bony shoulder. She still kept her shirt on the wound, keeping the pressure on it. Her hands were a dark red from the blood drying and she felt like the temperature had drastically dropped. Her right hand was being held by Inuyasha's, giving her minimum warmth. She hadn't taken the piece of her shirt off and wasn't sure if the bleeding had stopped. She carefully pulled it away and was amazed to see it almost healed. Only a tiny slit could be seen and she gawked in awe.

"I told you I heal fast." He said as he watched her gaze at his wound. She ran her finger over it and was amazed that he didn't even wince. She shivered again and she felt him move under her head. She raised her head up and looked at him. He was making to get up. She knew that he was fine and decided that it was time to go home. She waited until he got up so she could get some help. Her legs were cramped from sitting down for so long in the same position and it hurt.

"Thanks." She said as he pulled her to her feet. He grabbed her hand as they started for the exit, already knowing their way out. It seemed like the world around them had been put in fast forward and a few years had passed. The sun had disappeared below the horizon hours ago and they were left with the moonlight and the twinkling stars. The cold breeze blew past them, making both of them shiver. Kagome grabbed onto Inuyasha's arm, trying to scrounge up some warmth.

"It's cold out here." Kagome commented when she looked around. She didn't recognize the area in which she was standing in, and knew that she wasn't close to home. "Where are we?"

"A long way away from home let me tell you." He said looking around for the way he came in. He knew that she wasn't about to walk all the way home.

"All right then, let's get walking." She said as she started forward, only to stop when Inuyasha wasn't walking. She looked back at him to see a familiar smirk on his face. She looked at him strangely before she found herself on his back. She smiled at the back of his head as she lightly wrapped her arms around his neck. His hands held her thighs, making sure that his claws didn't pierce her skin. Without warning he leapt up to the nearest roof and headed in the direction that he had arrived in.

He approached the door quickly and quietly, blending in with his surroundings. No one had seen him or his guys come-they were the shadows of the night. He looked around once more, only to be cautious. He knocked on the door loudly, but only loud enough so that someone would hear inside the house. He only had to wait a moment before the door opened and Ms. Higurashi answered the door.

"Hello." She said politely. "If you're looking for Kagome, she's not here I'm afraid." He smiled at her knowing very well where she was.

"Oh we weren't looking for her. You're the one we were." He said as he brought a taiser out of his pocket and zapped her with it before she could utter a word. He caught the woman before she hit the floor and his guys walked in past them.

"Surprise, surprise Inuyasha my boy." The demon chuckled as he slung her over his shoulder.

LINE

"Mama? Souta? Grandpa? Anyone?" Kagome hollered into her house that appeared to be empty. When no reply came she began to get a little worried. Inuyasha caught the look on her face and began to wonder where they went to.

"They probably went out for ice cream or something." Inuyasha offered, trying to sooth Kagome's fears down a bit.

"My grandpa is lactose intolerant. He never leaves the house, and they would've left a note incase I came back." She said running around her house searching for anything. She came back down the stairs with Inuyasha trailing behind her. She was heading for the kitchen when Inuyasha noticed the front door open, when he recalled closing it behind him. He suddenly became aware of the stench coming from the kitchen, knowing very well who was waiting for them. He ran after her, wanting to stop her but she made it before him.

"Kouga? What are you doing here?" Kagome asked a little confused. Inuyasha let out a low growl, not trusting the mangy wolf one bit. He was leaning against the counter looking very smug as his usual self.

"I came to see you, and the door was open. I hope you don't mind me coming in uninvited, I just wanted to come and apologize for my actions at the party-" Kouga began but Inuyasha was quick to interrupt.

"Of course she fucking minds! You fucking broke in!" He growled at him, barely being held back by Kagome.

"I don't believe I was talking to you mutt." Kouga said to Inuyasha in a dangerous voice. Kagome put a hand on Inuyasha's arm to try and calm him.

"Inuyasha has a point Kouga." Kagome said politely.

"I'm sorry Kagome, but I really didn't want you to think bad of me when I was completely wasted. I'm really sorry for ruining your birthday." He said with a fake look of sincerity that Inuyasha could see through.

"It's okay, I was just a little frightened by it." She said calmly, trying not to sound rude.

"I'm so sorry, I was being a fool. No man should treat their woman like that." He said pushing himself up from the counter. Inuyasha growled, not missing the possessive part of his words. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her to him, showing him that she was already taken.

"Back off wolf, she's not yours." He growled tightening his grip on her.

"What gave you that idea Inuyasha?" He said innocently as he approached the two. "Kagome, I think I will take my leave now that I have expressed how sorry I really am." Kagome nodded and pried herself out of Inuyasha grip to make sure that he left. When the door was firmly closed she turned around only to have Inuyasha right there.

"I don't like that wolf one bit." He said with anger rising in his eyes. Kagome wrapped her arms around his middle and leaned her head on his chest.

"Let's just forget about Kouga for now. I'm tired and I just want to sleep in my warm bed." She sighed.

"I don't think you'll be able to sleep in your room." He said with a slight chuckle. She pulled her head back and looked at him not remembering her room.

"What?" She asked.

"You can crash in my room, I'll take the couch." He said as she pulled away and started for the stairs. He followed her until she stopped at the doorway where her broken door was open. She stepped inside the mess of a room and took it all in.

"Yeah, I think I won't be sleeping in here tonight." She said as she made her way over to her dresser. She pulled out a clean tee shirt and pants to sleep in since she was covered in blood. She went into the bathroom to change and clean up and Inuyasha went into his room to change as well. He put on a pair of clean and dry red boxers and a pair of sweatpants to sleep in. He tossed his damp clothing in the corner and started to pick the dry blood off of his stomach.

He walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door. Kagome muttered a "Come In", Inuyasha of course hearing. When he opened the door she was washing her face, trying to get all of the blood off. He reached around her and grabbed a facecloth that she had used previously. He stuck it under the warm water and brought it back around and started to wash the blood away. It came off easier then he had anticipated and soon he was done. Kagome looked at him with a smudge of blood still on her chin that she had missed. He pulled her towards him and wiped it off with a few swipes.

"There we go, all clean." He said as he dropped the facecloth. She turned around and headed to his room. He followed her closely, wanting to make sure that she was nice and comfy. She climbed under the covers into his bed which held the fresh rainforest smell that she had found simply irresistible. He kissed her forehead when she was tucked safely away.

"If you need me, just call my name. I'm on the couch." He said turning around and leaving her for the couch. He only made it to the top of the stairs when he heard Kagome.

"Inuyasha!" She called to him. He turned around and walked back into the room. She was still in the same place where he left her only moments ago.

"Yes?"

"Don't sleep on the couch." She whined quietly.

"Where else is there to sleep? Your brother's room? The floor? Outside?"

"With me." She said flashing him an innocent smile. "I don't want to be alone." She flipped the covers and patted the spot beside her. He smirked at her before walking over to the bed. She slid over more so that he could fit too. The bed was small, but just enough room for them both. He pulled the covers back and turned on his side to face Kagome. She smiled at him as she ran her fingers over his stomach.

"Sometimes I can't even believe that this is reality." He whispered to her as he rested his hand on her side.

"Well it is." She replied as she leaned forward and connected their lips. Her taste was so sweet that it was addictive-she was his drug. He opened his eyes and looked at her tired eyes, her lids already beginning to droop.

"G'night Inu." She said as she let them close all the way.

"Night."

Kagome was the first to wake. She looked at Inuyasha's peaceful face, unable to wake up the innocence that he was giving off. She slid off the mattress and put the covers back over him-like a mother tending to her child. She crept into the bathroom without the slightest noise and tried to be as quiet as possible. She turned the water on, knowing very well that he could wake up to the sounds of running water, but she just shrugged it off. She looked at her pale face in the mirror, seeing the large bags under her eyes. She patted down her messy hair and wondered what Inuyasha saw in her. She chuckled lightly at her reflection before stripping from head to toe and stepping under the steamy water.

He had been dreaming of Kagome and himself in a Jacuzzi somewhere in the mountains when he was pulled out by the sound of running water. His ears started to twitch slightly before he opened his eyes lazily. Immediately he noticed something was missing-Kagome. He almost sprang up like he was on springs. He looked around rapidly until he saw some steam come from under the door. The almost invisible warmth floated up through the crack and Inuyasha felt slightly settled. His body wanted to go back to sleep, but he knew that he wasn't about to just fall back onto the pillows. He laid back and closed his eyes, a headache forming slowly. He placed a hand over his eyes and took in some deep breaths, trying to soothe his sore head.

The water stopped and he heard her tiny footsteps in the bathroom. Soon afterwards the door opened and a freshly cleaned Kagome came out. She stepped into her room and started to rummage in her drawers for something to wear. She stopped moving and he guessed that she was changing. He inhaled deeply and her lavender scent filled his head. He felt like he was in heaven and he turned around so that his face was in his pillow. Her scent was all over it.

"Kagome…" He breathed into the pillow as he pulled his head back slightly. A slight humming filled his ears and he knew that it could only be Kagome. All thoughts of sleep had completely left him and now all he wanted to do was wrap her in his arms and taste her once again. He reluctantly pulled himself out of bed and made his way soundlessly to her room. When he got to the doorway he only saw her back. She stood in a different tee shirt and a pair of shorts. He saw this as a perfect chance and came up behind her only to embrace her from behind. He planted a few soft kisses on her neck.

"Morning there." She said holding back a giggle.

"Morning sunshine." He replied putting his head on her shoulder and resting his head on hers. He took notice of her change in attitude and took it as a good sign. She wasn't dwelling on all of the death that he had thought, but passed it off. Inside he was a box of fireworks being shot off like the 4th of July.

"This room is a total mess you realize." He said after a moment of silence. It hadn't been changed since the last time he had been inside, and to be truthful he missed the way it used to look.

"Yeah. I think that someone might need to clean it up a bit." She said hinting the obvious. He snickered as he picked it up.

"Yeah Kagome, I think that you should clean it. I agree 100%." He joked.

"Excuse me? I'm not touching this! You're the almighty Inuyasha, you can clean it." She said turning around making Inuyasha retract his head. She looked into his eyes to get her point through.

"Yes I know who I am, but I think that you should clean it since it's your room." He pointed out. She leaned forward and kissed him gently, leaving him wanting more. She pulled away and looked at him slyly before he tried to get another taste. She pulled away from his hold and looked at the disappointed hanyou with amused eyes.

"You clean and you get more." She said with a smile. He looked at her with the same eyes, knowing that two could play at her little game.

"So you're going to be the little criminal this time?" He said advancing towards her. Kagome knew that she was in for something and bolted out her door, just barely missing him. He laughed to himself before he turned around and followed her.

"You can't run and you can't hide. So what's the point of trying?" He said jumping down the stairs. She was heading for the living room when she dared to look behind her. She shot him a glance, turning sideways to get a decent look. But when she did so, she happened to miss the action figure on the ground and she tripped. She landed on her side and turned onto her back, finding it more comfortable. As she looked up she saw Inuyasha trip over the exact same toy. Luckily for her he had caught himself before he had crushed her beneath him.

"Wow." Was all that Kagome could utter before Inuyasha crashed his lips down to hers. It was a needy kiss, wanting to taste what was rightfully his. She returned it with just as much desire that he gave, if not more. He could feel his skin heating up, and suddenly his sweatpants were beginning to feel a little too warm. Kagome on the other hand felt like she was stuck in a sauna with her clothing on.

On Inuyasha's back tiny red finger dents were littered all over from Kagome, and a few scratch marks. His hands found their way to her shirt and slowly started to bring it up as they traveled further north. His fingers had reached her bra when he pulled away and started to plant sweet kisses along her neck and collarbone. Kagome breathed in deeply, feeling like she hadn't taken one for eternity. She giggled as he nipped at her skin, leaving a slight red mark. She opened her eyes and almost screamed when she saw two people staring in the window at them-Miroku and Sango. He was wearing another one of his perverted smiles and she was simply bewildered.

"We've got company." Kagome whispered to him. He pulled away and looked at her face. Her eyes moved to the window and he followed. He let out a low growl towards the two before they left their position and came inside.

He got up off of her and helped her up like a gentleman.

"I never knew that you were such a ladies man Inuyasha." Miroku joked as the two came into the living room and planting themselves on the couch. The embarrassed two followed suit soon after.

"What the hell are you two doing here?" Inuyasha asked them irritably as he planted himself next to Kagome.

"We came to see what Kagome was doing-" Sango said with an amused smile dancing across her face before Miroku chose to interject.

"But we can clearly see she's doing you."

"Shut up pervert." Inuyasha mumbled, his cheeks still not having recovered from his previous blush.

"Inuyasha! Be nicer to Miroku." Kagome said, hitting him lightly. He shut his mouth and crossed his arms over his chest, giving them the ignorance pose. She rolled her eyes at him before the conversation picked up once again.

"So you two-together." Miroku said, leaning backwards and resting his arms around the beck of the couch. "Never thought I'd see the day when Inu over here got himself a woman."

"Baka." Inuyasha mumbled out, trying to block out the lecher's words. Kagome blushed once again, and she averted her eyes from the two to the ground where she suddenly found the patterns very interesting.

"What about you two? Did Sango finally give into all of the groping, or did you threaten with chopping his hands off?" Inuyasha snapped, unable to resist the bad mood that they had put him in.

Now it was Sango's turn to blush as she thought about the two of them actually being together.

"No! We're not together." Sango said, recovering slightly.

"Right." The hanyou said before slouching in his spot. He ignored the glare that he was receiving from the nerved woman beside Kagome. Miroku sensed the hostility and decided to change the topic-even tough he didn't mind the thought of himself and Sango getting together romantically.

"So, yesterday you two seemed to have been missing. We stopped by, but Ms. Higurashi kindly informed us that you two were missing." He said before going into the perverted part of his speech. "Up to no good I presume?"

"Miroku!" Sango said as she hit him forcefully in the gut, making the poor boy lurch forward.

"Like I said, baka." Inuyasha said once again, not bothering to pay attention to them anymore.

Okay so here's chapter 10. God I'm SO slow at updating…I should be shot. Well anyway yeah. And chapter 11 will be on the way. Bye!
