I know I'm still writing for Offline Dates, but I'm running out of ideas for that one so I decided to start a new one. Go me! Anywho, read and enjoy. I'm planning to make the chapters longer than in any of my other fics.
Changing Your Mind
Chapter 1 - Visitations
The pale glow of the moonlight slanted through the open window on a small hut. Identical young women bustled about inside, their silhouettes shifting around, framed by the steady, silvery moonlight from above and the shifting gold from the flame of a single candle below.
"Mira, our time draws near. We must fulfill the prophecy."
"Aye sister Kira. We'll be leaving as soon as the enchantment is finished. The last thing that needs to be done is to let the rays of the full moon shine upon the amulets."
At that moment the glimmer that stretched across the floor moved, pulsing with a pale blue energy. Both women shuffled away from it as the light squirmed and writhed on the floor, then slithered towards the makeshift altar on the wooden slats. Translucent fingers rose from the twitching pool, drooping to brush the tips across the hard stone, soft as a lovers caress.
When both medallions had been touched, a silent scream rent the stillness of the room, forcing the pair to their knees as they clutched their ears in agony. When the sound faded and their eyes fluttered open, the hut was as it should be; everything was in its place.
They cautiously moved forward, the medallions casting a glow that could rival the sun. When their skin came in contact with the hard granite, the bright light was stifled and they looked no more than ordinary charms. The twins nodded to each other and trudged from the hut, pausing in the center of the clearing ahead and turning to each other. Simultaneously they bowed, offering the other respect, then embraced.
"Take care, sister."
"As well should you." With their farewells said, the couple parted ways in search of their prey.

Milky ears twitched, poking from a thick, platinum mane that was decorated with pebbles and twigs. The wench had sat him againand only because he suggested that they continue on with out the useless bitches needing to bathe every five minutes. Even Miroku had shot him a dirty look. And here he thought the monk couldn't get any dirtier
Golden eyes drifted down to Kagome huddled in her cocoon. He really hated that thing. It hissed at him each time the mouth opened and closed over the wench's frail body. But. . . she insisted on using it each night to keep her warm.
It was then that the gentle, soothing melody of a woman's voice pierced through his miffed mind. He rolled off the branch, landing soundlessly in the quiet camp. Artfully, the hanyou slid between the trees, only to come face-to-face with a lovely-looking woman.
'Well, she got the wrong one. Miroku's still sleeping,' he snorted to himself, keeping his fingers arched and his talons put on display.
"My buisness here is not hostile, young Inu Yasha." she murmured in her sweet voice, lifting her hands in a placating gesture. "I come bearing ye a gift, even."
She reached into a satchel at her waist and produced the amulet, holding it out to him invitingly.
"Sorry, lady, but I ain't up to takin' gifts from strangers," he grumbled suspiciously, eyeing the medallion with no little amount of disdain.
"Trust me, Inu Yasha. With this medallion, ye will be able to defeat Naraku for certain. Never again will he hide in the young boy's back." Inu Yasha's hand stilled halfway through the action of grasping the amulet, stunned into silence.
"Take it now, Inu Yasha. The opportunity won't arise again." she warned quietly, features grave. With that, he nodded and grasped the thick, braided cord, slipping it over his head and looking back up at where the woman should have been stranding, but she was gone. He shook his head and made his way back to camp. That was when the odd pulsing began in his frame, so similar to when he turned human, and yet so different at the same time.

Sesshoumaru sat watching over his tiny ward, keeping her safe while she slept like all humans do. She smiled in her slumber, fully confident that her 'Sesshou-sama' would protect her with his life. He suddenly stood, the boa tumbling from his angular shoulder from the weight of his Rin, revealing his toned torso. He bared his fangs in a disgusted snarl, the hilt of Tokijin already resting in his palm.
"Reveal yourself, human." As if obeying his order, the woman stepped from the shadows and paused dramatically in a large beam of moonlight.
"Lord Sesshoumaru. I bring ye a gift to help you attain what it is ye desire. Ye want Tetsusaiga do ye not?" The demon lord stilled, even if his facial expression never shifted. A new tension grew in the air and he moved, appearing right before her with the demon blade at the woman's throat.
"Explain." It was his only word. She moved her hand to reach into the pouch at her hip, holding out the amulet with a great amount of pride. Sesshoumaru took it in his hand and silently studied the single kanji character carved into the smooth surface.
"When you wear this, you will hold the fang in your hand." She smiled serenely and immediately vanished. The demon frowned, staring hard at the medallion as if his cold glare alone could make it voice its secrets. He contemplated throwing the useless piece of junk away, insulted to think he needed help from a human to get the famed sword. But, something else in his mind controlled his movements, lifting the amulet over his head and slipping it on.
A sick feeling made his stomach shudder horribly, his vision wavering between its normal sharpness and an inky black. He whirled to sit back down beside Rin, but his balance was definitely off. He couldn't have explained his sudden lack of grace any other way. Shifting to lay on his back, he stiffened, a jolt of pain running through every vein in his body, moving up to his brain. His spine arched, golden eyes fluttering closed as his pale lips parted in a loud howl of affliction. He wasn't sure, but he thought he might have heard an echoing scream from somewhere off in the distance.
It was his last thought before he dropped to lie sprawled on the forest floor. He was unconscious
