Chapter 11
"Y-You know?" Kagome asked startled. 'No one was suppose to know about us, I hope she doesn't tell anyone' she thought.
"yeah, I know about you guys, and personally I don't care, I think it's cute" Rin said with a smile.
"Y-You do?"
"yeah, I think it's okay, as long as you guys wait till your 18 before you do something...you know...naughty."Rin said with a wicked grin on her face.
Kagome laughed at this "don't worry we already talked about that"
"Good, because I don't want to see little Inuyashas running any time soon" Rin said
"RIN!!!" Kagome practically yelled "thats not gonna happenany time soon.....and can you please keep it down a bit, Sesshomaru doesn'tknow about us" she whispered
"oh, sorry"
There was a pregnant pause
"Speaking of Sesshomaru" Rin started "Do you know if he's married?" she asked a little giddy.
"No he's not, but I don't know if he has a girlfriend, but I do know that Inuyasha asked him about that, and he said that he had his eye on a certain girl" Kagome responded.
Rin looked a little depressed after she had said that. She was kinda hoping that he didn't have a girlfriend and that maybe he would look at her the way that she wanted him to. 'But that can never happen, we'd get caught right away' she thought 'I'm surprised that Kagome and Inuyasha haven't got caught yet' she let out a little sigh, Kagome interupted her train of thought.
"But I think I have a good idea on who that girl is" kagome said with a smirk on her face.
"really? who?" she asked anxious.
"well...she has long dark brown hair, brown eyes, and is about.....stand up for a minute" she asked Rin all of a sudden
"what? why?"
"just do it"
Rin had a confused look on her face, but did it any ways. Kagome Looked her up and down and finished her sentence. "and is about 5'6" she finished. Rin sat back down and looked at her a little weird, "but Kagome I don't know any body who looks lik-" she stopped. A thought just entered her head and she looked at Kagome with wide eyes, who in return had a big smile put on.
"are you messing with me?" she asked hoping that she wasn't
"nope, I see how he looks at you. Evertime you come over and he's here, his eyes are always glued on you, and today, he couldn't seem to stop watching you in the kitchen." Kagome stated.
She knew that it was exactly Rin, who Sesshomaru was thinking about. Inuyasha had even seen it and told Kagome about it.
~*Flashback*~
"I think that Sesshomaru has a think for Rin " Inuyasha said all of a sudden.
"I think so too" Kagome answered
"lke lastnight, when you two were up watching movies, Rin was in the kitchen getting something, and I had gone to the bathroom, when I came back in, I saw him staring at her, like, she was something amazing that he had never seen before, but then he saw me, and turned away, thinking I didn't catch him" he stated
Kagome had a thought all of a sudden "why don't we try to hook them up?"
Inuyasha just looked at her confused "we can't do that, Sesshomaru won't do it because it's illegal" "oh so we can do it but they can't?"
"Kagome we're not even suppose to be together, I surprised that Sesshomaru hadn't even suspected something yet" Inuyasha said
"You never know, he might think differently, he might desperetly want to be with her but is afraid of getting caught. Rin likes him" she said
Inuyasha looked like he was actually considering this. " I'll talk to him, see if he has some one already or is interested in any one, I'll get something out of him"
~*end flashback*~
Just then Rin's cell phone rang. "hold on.....Hello?......hi mom....at Kagomes talking....right now?.....(sigh)....okay....bye." "who was that?" "my mom, I have to go home now" she said a little disapointed. "okay i'll see you at school then"
"okay c-ya later"
"bye"
Kagome shut the door right be hind her. She went and cleaned up the mess that her and Rin had made. She put the snacks away and cleaned up the dishes. Right when she was done, Sesshomaru had said his goodbyes, and left. Inuyasha went and joined Kagome on the couch while watching some television, before heading to bed for the night.
~*with Sesshomaru*~
Sesshomaru was driving down the main road, when out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a car with their emergency lights blinking, there was a person leaning on the hood. He slowed down a bit to see if he recognized the person. To his astonishment he did, it was Rin. He pulled over just in front of her car, he turned his emergency lights on and got out.
Rin had turned around when she heared a car door close, her eyes opened in surprise when she saw that it was Sesshomaru.
"car trouble?" he asked smoothly
"u-uh yeah, it just died out of no where. I don;t what happened" she said trying act as normal as she can. Sesshomaru opened her hood and looked under it. It looked like he was playing with some wires, then he got in and tried to started it, it made a weird noise and then just died again completley. "It's the starter" he said with no expression in his voice.
"figures, my mom is gonna kill me." Rin said frustrated.
"has this happened before?" Seshhomaru asked eyeing her
"This is the second time. My mom blamed me the first time, no doubt she'll blame me again."
"Well it looks like who ever fixed it messed up the wiring. I know enough about cars to know that this is certainly all wrong."
"just my day, I can't even get a hold of my mom, she called before saying that she was going out with her and that I need to be home incase my brother calls."
she said. She looked like she was on the brink of tears. Sesshomaru put his hand on her shoulder in an attempt to calm her. "Don't worry" he said " i'll give you a ride home"
Rin seemed to be really happy at this, "really? I don't want to be any trouble" she said
"No trouble at all, i'm happy that I can help" he said with a smile on his face.
"okay thanks" she said. She turned off the lights, and made sure that the car was locked up, in case anyone decided to try and get in. She got into Sesshomarus car, any they drove off.
They sat in silence for a while, until Rin broke the silence. "Thanks again, I hope I'm not keeping you from any plans, or your girlfiend or something" she asked a little nervous, but then again hoping to get something out of him. Luckily she did.
"I don't have any plans, or a girlfriend" he said in a normal tone, with his eyes on the road.
"Oh really? with your looks, you don't have a girlfriend, I'm surprised" she said
Sesshomaru gave a light chuckle at her statement.
" nope, no one special for me"
"but I bet your beating girls off of you all the time" she said with a small laugh
"I guess so, there is this one woman at work, who just doesn't take 'no' for an answer, she annoys me" he said looking a little annoyed at the fact at having to remeber her, Kagura. She tried everyday to get his attention, but he kept telling her that he wasn't interested. But she wouldn't take it. He was broke from his thoughts by Rins voice.
"I'm sorry, that would annoy me too." she said
silence
"so...how about you. Do you have a boyfrined?" he asked suddenly
" Nope, no one for me either" she said with a smile, ' maybe now he'll think more about me'
"and how old are you?" He asked
"18"
"Your 18, and don't have a boyfriend?! everygirl your age has to have a boyfriend" he said suddenly
"well not me, I just havn't found the right one yet" she said
They pulled up into her drive way.
"If I could, I would snatch you up for myself Sesshomaru"
He looked at her, surpise written all over his face. 'd-did she actually say that?!' he thought to himself. The a thought popped into his head ' I have to make sure first'
"R-really?" he asked 'please be serious'
"yeah, I would, but it's not allowed, and personally I don't care" she said hoping to get through to him.
"Well thanks again for the ride" she said, then started to opening the car door when his voice stopped her. "wait" he said suddenly. She turned around and looked him in the eyes. He looked her in the eyes as if searching for something, then in one fast movement, leaned forward and kissed her square on the lips.
Rin was surprised at first, but then closed her eyes and gave into his kiss. He lightly trailed his tounge over her bottom lip, and she opened her mouth giving him access. Then their tounges were in an all out war for dominance. After a while he pulled away from her, and they both took a minute to breath.
"Your welcome" was his only response.
Rin smiled at him, and whispered a good night. She got out of the car and into her house closing the door behind her, but not before hearing his car taking off the street at a fast speed.
