Chapter 10
*~1 month later~*
The weather was sunny and warm outside, as the first signs of spring started to appear. Kagome sat in the living room, on the floor next to the coffee table, finishing up her last project before spring break. She had been so excited for this day. The past month had been terrible for. She had been stressing over work and final projects, and of course, tests, just to get everything done and out of the way so she wouldn't have to worry over spring break. She just wanted to spent her two weeks to relax at home with Inuyasha, and have a worry free vacation. ' Two weeks alone with Inuyasha, nothing can get better than this' she thought to herself. No school, no work, no tests, and definitely no Kikyo. 'Kikyo' she thought. That girl had been causing trouble eversince she got there.
Kikyo would come into school everyday, pretend to not know how to do any of the work, just to get all the male teachers to notice her, especially Inuyasha. Luckily for Kagome, Inuyasha was to smart to fall for one of Kikyos stupid tricks. She had tried and tried to flirt with Inuyasha as much as she can, thinking that he would eventually fall for her, but her plans always back fired.
Until one day, when Kagome was sitting in the library after school catching up on some work, waiting for Inuyasha to finish up with a quick staff meeting he had to attened. He promised to try and be out of there as soon as he can. When Kagome had seen Inuyasha walk past the library toward his classroom. He turned his head toward, winking and nodding his head toward his room telling her that he was ready to leave. AS soon as she saw him disapper into the, she packed up all of her stuff and put her books back that she had checked out for her work, and headed towrd the library exit. She had turned her head up just in time to see Kikyo walk into his classroom....KIKYO!!!!
She had picked up her pace a bit to try and get there faster. Once outside of his classroom door, Kagome peeked her head in just enough to see what was going on. What she saw made her heart clench so tight, it felt like it would break. Inuyasha was sitting in his chair with his feet under his desk and hands folded together resting on his desk. Kikyo was leaning on his desk, resting on one of her elbows, shirt hung open enough to see her cleavage, while her one hand lightly touched the tie around his neck.
"Mr. Takahashi, you don't have to pretend you don't like me, everyone can see it. So why keep it a secret." Kikyo said seductivley. "You know what, your right," Said Inuyasha, leaning forward abit. Kagome froze at what she just heard. ' I don't believe him, how could he say that, I thought he liked only me, he even said that.' Kagome was on the brink of tears, she turned away ready to leave, but then stopped again when sh eheard him continue. " I do like you, but only as a student, nothing more." he said firmly. "Excuse me!?"Kikyo was in schock, no one rejected her. "You heard me, your a good student, and I want it to stay like that. So if I were you Kikyo I would stop this now, not just to me, but to the other teachers, yes I know about them too..."Kikyo was flaring up "or your gonna get yourself into a whole lot of trouble. Besides, I already have somebody, somebody I care for to much to let her get by one of your messed up little tricks."Inuyasha said with a big smile on his face.
'Inuyasha..' Kagome thought happily to herself. That was it, for Kikyo just snapped. "I would watch my back if I were you, cause if I can't have you no one can." and with that Kikyo stormed out of the room and past Kagome, not before giving her a dirty look, leaving Kagome with a big smile on her face.

Kagome had been sitting in the living room eversince she got home from school at three o' clock. It was 7 o'clock Wednesday night. Sesshomaru had come by an hour earlier for his weekly inspection. Him and Inuyasha were sitting in the dinning room talking about Kagome's upcoming birthday, and how she things were looking good between her and Inuyasha, thinking that her stay might be permanent. That really made her happy, her and Inuyasha were growing closer everyday, which was taking there relationship one step further. They have gone to a point where they were sharing the same bed. They would touch and caress each other and give each oral pleasure now and then, but never taking it further than that. They both had decided to wait until she was at least 18 to take that big step.' Just three more weeks, and i'll be llegal' she thought with a grin.
After four hours, Kagome had finished her project. "About time" she said while stretching out her sore muscles. She was about to get up and put her work away when the doorbell rang. 'I wonder who that is' " I'll get it!!" she yelled to the guys inthe dining room. She walked over to the door opening it, and surprised to see "Rin!! what are you doing here?" She asked, surprised that Rin would comeover. " Just stopped by to say hi, and wondering if you want to go out to mall with me"
"I can't, the social worker is over tonight, doing his weekly check up, but we can hang out here"
"That sounds like a good idea" 'I knew she would say yes, Sesshomaru is here, she only has the biggest crush on him' thought Kagome.
" Wanna go get some snacks from the kitchen and head back towards the living room?" Kagome asked. "Sure as long as I get to see Sesshomaru" Kagome just rolled her eyes as Rin giggled at that. They walked into the kitchen that was attached to the dining room, Kagome flashing Inuyasha with a sweet smile, and Rin eyeing Sesshomaru up and down. This of course didn't go unnoticed by Sesshomaru, who just looked up at her, locking eyes with each other for a brief second then quickly turning back towards Inuyasha.
After finally grabbing arm fulls of snacks, Rin and Kagome headed back into the living, settling done on the floor. Kagome had put in a couple of c.d's in the stereo, and went and sat down across from Rin. "So Kagome, how are things working between you and Mr.Takahashi?"
"Fine, he's treating me good"
"A little too good by what I see"
This confused Kagome, "what are you talking about?" she asked starting to get nervous.
"I see how you two act around each other, the flirting, the way you look at each other, and how you talk about everyday. You can't deny it Kagome, you like him just abit, just tell me." Rin said sweetly
" I don't know what your talking about, I don't have those kind of feelings for him." Kagome said while looking down at her hand, fidling with each other.
" Yes you do, I can see it"
"You don't see shit Rin" Kagome said a little loud.
"yes I do"
"no you don't"
"You know what, I'm tired of trying to get you to admit it, so i'm just gonna say it" Rin said
"say what Rin?!"
"I saw you two, in the classroom, through the door"
Kagome gasped 'oh no, she knows'
