Taisho was stunned. He did not know what to say. He simply pulled the young woman fully into his chest. He wanted to
comfort her, but she was ningen and an onna. All he could do was make her feel at ease somehow. His beast beat against
the mental cage it was kept in. Deciding to allow it,

Sayuri had only a little strength. She used it now to pull herself into a fetal position. She knew by the feel around her
that the beast form had laid down then she laid her head on his paws. She felt strangely comfortable when the inuyoukai
put his head next to hers. She slipped into a deep sleep with the purring of the lord's beast form, creating a feel of
tranquility.

Taisho and Sayuri were wakened the next morning by a servant. They realised only then that they had spent the night
outside. They had worried Greta. Nevertheless, there was now a bond between them that would strengthen and develope as she
lived among them. It was needed as his role was to be her adopted father.

Touro, the servant, was most upset. He had watched his great lord make a fool of himself over having the ningen princess
and fathering the hanyou. Now he was adopting this ninja ningen onna. This youkai had another reason though to hate this
onna.
An evil entity had trapped him into spying on this onna. It now held his little sister captive. He had to spy on this onna
until such time as the being was ready to claim her as its own.
Touro could not believe this single onna was worth any youkai's life. He did not know of the revealing for he was but a
simple servant and a low-ranking one at that. He would soon learn that this onna was more, far more than anyone could
see at first glance. Soon he would learn the truth of this onna in a way that would bind him to her service for the rest
of his life.

Sesshomaru was very surprised when he looked down from his balcony to see his father in beast form curled around the
soul twin of his mate. Calling Kagome to his side, he showed her the sight and she smiled.

From his balcony, Zephimaru saw this too. Unfortunately, that meant that his beast did too. It set the beast to fighting
against the rational side. To the beast, it said that this leader male was a possible rival for the female. It
growled at the thought of the old one fathering another hanyou like the one that hurt her. The rational side argued that
the sire was simply showing the female pup a little extra comfort. It also argued that if the sire was a rival, he would
be a worthy one and that a hanyou from this union would never turn out like the previous one.
