An hour later, the four were gathered in the healer's quarters.
Sayuri had changed into a simple gray kimono. It looked good on her. She saw Kagome after her transformation for the first
time. "You have become the Shikon Miko," she said.
Kagome nodded. Then she twirled around for her sister. "Isn't the kimono lovely?"
"Very." Then Sayuri asked, "Do you still have the kimono I gave you? I think that Sesshomaru would like to see you in it."
She looked at the lord then for he had made a hmph sound. "Sesshomaru, the one I gave her is not a garment that will
demean her. Soft as silk, fitting for the Shikon Miko, it is on par with any you might give her, but means more as it was
a gift from one who treasured her while being surrounded by hate."
Taisho intervened there. "Son, let your mate show you. I would like to see this work." Then to Sayuri, he said, "We are
ready."

Sayuri nodded. She said, "I will begin when I came to after the first time. It was the afternoon of the first day. I had
passed out at the end of the first round. I came to with the sounds of chirping birds flapping their wings. The bright
warm sun was hitting my face. I was on my side. It was then that as I tried to sit up that I saw my legs were tied
together. I knew my arms were bound also as I could feel the ropes. I began to try and sit up, letting some panic out. It
was then that someone delivered a kick to my stomach. This knocked me on my back at an angle. The pain was nothing to me,
but as I was playing Kagome, I acted the way they expected. I gasped and let my eyes tear as if the pain was great. In
that time however, Kikyou came to stand over me. It was pathetic really. She said, "Oh, you woke. That is good," as if she
were glad. Then her tone changed into one of evil satisfaction. "Now your way past due punishment can start." Grabbing my
hair, she jerked me upright. She wanted Kagome to suffer as much as she could. Sango, Miroku and Inuyasha were standing
behind her. Between them was a spot for her to sit and watch from. They were following her and they never knew she planned
to kill them to."

Here Taisho said, "Traitors get betrayed sooner or later." He moved to hug his heir's mate along with his heir. He said,
"Kagome, this is not your fault."
Sayuri nodded and then added, "It was their choice. Even though, Kikyou was in control, they still had a choice. They could
have chosen to let go of their hate just as you had. They could have bonded together and fought. They did not."

Greta intervened then. "Lady Sayuri, your broth. I will bring you water and tea. Lords and lady, a servant has brought you
something also."

Sayuri slapped herself. "I wanted to avoid this."
"Why?" asked Zephimaru.
"To avoid putting strain on the servants. It would have been better for you to eat where you normally do. I deserve a
beating."
At this, the servants delivering the food spoke up. They said, "We feel no trouble. The lord told us the tale would be
long so when it was ready and none were seen, we easily brought it here."
Sayuri cocked her head to the side. "I would rather open hatred then hidden scorn." She arched an eyebrow when a servant
snarled, "We are not the humans. You are weak and under our lord's protection." He was silent then. He looked at his
servant friends then. They were shocked. He looked at the lord's family. Then with shame, he apologized.
Sayuri was silent, her eyes on him. She was reading him. His posture, his thoughts and the look of his youkai about him.
Everyone but the transgressor watched her.
At last, Sayuri said, "Thank you for your honesty. Your words are true and your tone expected. Forgive me for grouping
you with most in my past"
The servants were too stunned at that time to reply. Silently, they left. The incident would be a topic of intense
discussion.

Sayuri drank her broth, tea and water. She did not look up. She was thinking over the incident.
Zephimaru asked, "Do you suffer as Kagome did?"
"That has a yes and no answer. Yes, I cannot eat much. However, I have grown up so. I have no worth save that as a weapon
to my village. In fact, they would be happier if I had been killed as an infant."
"That will not be good for the pups," said Taisho.
"For them, I will learn to eat."
"Back to the story," said Sesshomaru.

An annoyed glance was sent his way even as Sayuri said," I tried to speak. My words were too muffled for her to understand.
She said, "I guess you want to know what is going to be done?" She was silenced when the muffled words were stopped. She
waited for Kagome to nod. It infuriated her when Kagome stopped trying to speak and simply shrugged. She schooled her
features and said, "Inuyasha is going to finish manhandling you. Then you will heal my body for me and I will take it
back. Once that is done, you will take my place in Hell." With a sweet tone, she added, "I hope you like the heat," while
motioning Inuyasha forward. Inuyasha smirked as he walked to stand behind me. He saw Kagome. The controlling potion made
him hate her as his mate did. He said,"This will be so much fun. I want to hear you scream as I fuck your ass til it
bleeds." Sango and Miroku grinned. Then Inuyasha ripped your clothing to shreds around me. He grabbed me and jumped to the
bank. From there, he dropped me into the freezing river. I could have struggled, but chose not to. I just let myself
sink. It was at this point that Kyuubi began tearing at the bars of his cage. He had been pacing inside it all along. He
hated feeling helpless. I was able, just barely to remind him that this was for the best. I asked him to be patient. To be
ready for the signal. Then Inuyasha jumped in and pulled me to surface. He used my hair. When we reached the top, he said
"To bad your human body is going to give out before the real fun begins." He cut the ropes and threw me flat before her.
I pushed myself to standing. He kicked me back to my knees. It was then that Miroku stepped forward. He pinched my pulse
point and then grabbed my hair, freeing Inuyasha's hand. He grabbed my breast with his left and moved his other hand to
finger me. It was then I purposely struggled. I did so because I felt Kikyou's smugness. I already knew her plans would
fail. I punched Miroku, headbutted Inuyasha and kicked Sango back. Then I stood straight and tall before Kikyou. I let her
see the look that Naraku hated, that Danzou and everyone else hated."

Looking straight at Kagome then, Sayuri said,"It is said that the eyes are windows into the soul. For both of us, our eyes
show what we are feeling. The purity of your innocent soul, more than the strength of our power or the life that we
possess is what Kikyou and Naraku and the others hated. Even when she was alive, Kikyou did not have it at our level. She
knew this and she hated it."
Kagome could not respond to this.

"What happened next?" asked Taisho. He was feeling so disappointed in his youngest.
Sesshomaru thought, 'How pathetic. Letting a woman control him.

"Kikyou slapped me. She was angry and put her full force in it. I felt nothing. Sango laid her hand on Kikyou's shoulder.
She then slapped me. Inuyasha drew Tessaiga with a growl. He broke my elbows, tore my arms out of socket. Then he bound my
arms. First at the wrists. Then he forced my arms to fold upward and tied them there. He struck me on the back of my head.
The force was enough to drive me to the ground. I was kicked in the stomach by Sango and my back beaten by Miroku who used
his staff. Then Inuyasha jabbed his first two fingers inside me. Grabbing my hair again, Miroku jerked my head back. This
raised my chest enough that he could suckle on my bleeding breast and stroke his wife's bottom at the same time. Kikyou
was enjoying this. Then I again threw a wrench in her plans. I jerked my head forward. I bit Miroku hard and forced myself
onto my feet. I headbutted Inuyasha a second time and kicked Miroku. It was risky, but I knew what they did not." Pausing
here, Sayuri drank some tea that Greta handed her. Swallowing, she continued with, "They broke my legs then and Inuyasha
returned to raping me. He came once and I was pulled under. I "came to" and found myself in a clearing. However, it was
not a place I had been before. I had expected to show up either before Kyuubi's cage or Midoriko's statue.

Here Kagome asked, "Did Midoriko speak with you?"
"Yes. It was actually her helping me to not purify them right off. My reiki was just boiling beneath the surface. Kyuubi
was not helping either."
"What was in the meadow?" asked Sesshomaru.
Sayuri said, "In the meadow, was a few tall trees and a house. Just at that minute, a tall man exited it. He looked up and
saw me looking at him. He smiled and came a little closer. Not much, but enough I could hear him. He said, "You are
letting them hurt you." Then he asked why. I studied him a minute and then said, "Kami gave me that duty." He said, "I am
the true form of Inuyasha. The controlling potion that witch gave him formed me. She should not be his mate. Our rightful
mate was Kagome. Now I will not have a mate. I . ."

"What, Sayuri?" asked Taisho.
Sayuri closed her eyes. She could still see his eyes, feel his pain and again the desire to help him.

Sayuri opened her eyes. "I asked him if there was something I could do to help. He looked at me as I had him. Then he
asked what Miroku would at first. I was stunned. He said, "If you are willing to bear me a pup, then it would help ease
the sting of having no mate." Without knowing why, I said, "Pups." He looked at me with confusion. I reminded him that he
had said pup and clarified my words. "We will have pups." He pulled me into a gentle hug and then I woke. Kikyou and
Inuyasha were talking about how her level of power would be fully restored. He had just said, "You should be stronger.
Kaede said that was was the most powerful miko alive." Kikyou was not happy with that remark. They looked my way and
Inuyasha said, "Nice of you to wake up, wench. I need to rid of some stress." He got behind me and started to finger me
again. It was then I gave the signal. My chakra surged forward, knocking the other three away. My reiki flared to life
and I dropped the transformation.
Sango threw her boomerang. Miroku tried to bring it down. I let the weapon enter my barrier and then sent it back. It
knocked her out. Miroku charged and without thinking, he unleasehed his wind tunnel. I laughed. Then I unleashed my
Rasengan. He too was knocked out. Inuyasha rose to his feet and unleashed the Windscar. It was dispelled by my barrier.
He released it twice more before Kikyou said," That's pathetic, Inuyasha. Let me do it. She cannot keep me out. That
barrier is nothing." I let it stand until Kikyou glared at me. She smirked and stepped in. When she turned to look at
Inuyasha, I raised it again. This time I held it. Kikyou hissed at me, "Release me and die already." I shook my head and
then said, "No. Priestess Kikyou, you have failed. You have fallen. From the grave, Urasue drew your soul. Now. through
your choices, I release you from her spell into the depths of Hell. You should have been more. Now it is too late."
Kikyou laughed. "You are a demon; it is you that will go into Hell. First, where is that copy of mine? She stole my
soul and I want it back." I looked at her. "(That copy of yours) as you call her, has a name. Kagome is safe, safe in a
place you will never reach. I would rather die than tell you." Snarling, Kikyou flared her ki around an arrow and threw it
at me. She said, "Then die, knowing that copy will join you." I caught her arrow and sent an arrow of pure reiki back at
her. The souls within her were freed. The part of yours that was in her glowed a silvery-rose and floated to my shoulder.
Mine pulsed in time with it. Then I sealed it and turned to fight Inuyasha. He and I fought until I again was drawn to
True form's side"
