The next morning Sayuri ate a hearty breakfast. Then she asked the guards to bring the still bound Inuyasha some three
miles from the castle gates.

Sayuri had chosen this spot because it was a large clearing around a single tree. A stream ran through it that was filled
with fish. He would have what he needed. She drew the seal first. Then she did the walls. "Leave," she told the guards.
She felt them retreat several paces. Though she would have perferred them to be farther back, she said nothing to them. She
simply walked up to the bound hanyou and broke the strands of energy around him. Then she moved back and mentally cast a
slender thread of spirit energy around him. She felt True form receive it. As Inuyasha's eyes fluttered open, she moved
further back. She was not scared, but cautious and knew she had to be careful as he was no longer acting on his own
accord.

Sure enough, inside the hanyou's mind, the potion had so mixed with the memory of Kikyo's voice that he still heard every
order that her jealousy tainted self had said. Now he heard it say with his beast, "Kill her. Kill Sayuri." Standing, he
looked up at the young woman before him. "You killed mate. You die," his beast growled.
Sayuri said nothing. She did not fear this beast form. Not out of stupidity for she was cautious, not out of bravado for
this she did not feel, but out of the knowledge that True form would not let Inuyasha harm her or the pups he knew she
would bear him.
Inuyasha was little more than a yard from her when a pulse of energy from True form was sent through the main body and he
was frozen. His hate-filled red eyes changed into a pair of sapphire eyes that were more like a starless night sky than
Kagome's were. The true form backed away and then came close. It looked down at Sayuri for its height was greater than
hers. It did as Sesshomaru had done at the evening.
Sayuri listened to the barks and soft growls. She felt happiness and peace fill her. Stepping closer, she hugged him and
replied in his tongue. Then she withdrew and the walls were raised. After one final look at the true form, she set the
seal in place and it was done. From outside the seal, she said, "Inuyasha, this is your punishent. To be sealed away until
such time as ye repent or until another forces my hand to kill you. For Kagome's sake, I would rather not kill you."
Turning then, she walked toward the soldiers. With a silent "Come" motion of her hand, she felt them fall into step with
her. She said nothing even as she heard the soldiers around her talk amongst themselves of what they had seen.

The cook was waiting for her lady at the gate. She said nothing with her mouth. Nor was there need to. She and the new
lady residing at the palace walked in silence to the kitchen. Arriving there, the ari youkai said, "Sit, Lady Sayuri. I
will feed you." As she brought out the bowls of fruit, curds and broth, the cook was silently studying this peculiar onna.
She sat with her after bringing a goblet of tea mixed with a few drops of cider.
It was as Sayuri finished the bowl of curds that the cook said," You have already used up the energy from this morning's
meal."
"Ayhai. I had to punish Inuyasha. The method I chose was to seal him away. The food I ate this morning had been eaten with
that in mind," Sayuri answered. She paused and confessed, "For Kagome-kifutago, I sealed him in an area all his own. He
will never know companionship from others. Part of this is because he wants none and part of this is his punishment. I
would hae simply altered his bindings, but I knew Kagome would want to see that he has what he needs, so I sealed him.
Now I have the monk and slayer to deal with. I will eat again after that and then probably at the even meal."
"You must not hesitate to ask, mlady. We will gladly serve you any time you need it. Especially with you becoming a
mother."
Nodding her head, Sayuri finished the food and drink. Rising, she thanked the youkai and then headed to the dungeons.

It was here that she would deal with Miroku and Sango. She broke the bindings on Miroku. Again she stepped back. She had
her reiki at the ready. She knew that she could have used Kanna's mirror here, but that was a moot point now. She glanced
over at Sango. She knew that the slayer would want to know of her brother. First though, Sayuri knew she would not tell
the slayer about Kohaku. 'Great as her love for him is, it was not right that she treat Kagome as she did. Potion or no,
Sango should hae been able to tell something was wrong.'
At that second, Miroku's eyes opened, but they were not his.
Sayuri had heard Kagome tell her of the adventure at Demon's Head castle. Now she saw that demon had conquered and fused
with the other demons his wind tunnel had swallowed.
The demon looked at Sayuri and hissed, "You."
Sayuri said nothing as she studied the demonness before her. She saw the large head of a cat-like youkai. The blue skin
of its face looked well against the black hair on its head and the light red eyes with blue cat-like slits in them. She
also saw the evil aura of it clouding Miroku's fairly strong power. Looking into this demonness's eyes, she said, " I
will put an end to you." The demonness laughed. "This monk thought he beat me. The weakling miko could not have defeated
me. Neither can you. You, a miko containing a demon, have no hope either."
"Oh really?" asked Sayuri. With that, she flared her aura. She watched then as all the demons inside Miroku flinched and
writhed beneath her gaze. She reached out with her reiki and began to purify each and every one of them before turning
that into his. This done, she moved back and broke the bonds on Sango.
Miroku shook his head and then blinked his eyes rapidly. He focused in on Sango. At seeing her unconscious, he rushed to
her side. He was very clearly worried about her.
Sayuri said nothing. She simply watched and listened. She would reveal her prescence at the right time. Now was not it.
Miroku caressed his wife's cheek. "Sango. Sango, my love. Sango my love, wake up." He was scared the babe was harmed.
"Miroku, where are we?"
"You are at Sesshomaru's castle. Do not worry for the child. He is fine and will be a strong warrior-priest."
The couple looked up then and saw they were not alone. Miroku pulled his wife closer. Sango glared at the one intruding
on their private moment. He asked, "Who are you?"
"Do you not recall she who kept you from burning Kagome?"
His features tightened. "Why are we here, Demon? Where is our alpha and his mate?" Miroku asked. Then he looked confused.
Putting a hand to his temple, he rubbed it. Sango did likewise.
"Rise. I want you two to follow me," Sayuri said.
Miroku and Sango silently, cautiously followed this female. They did not trust her. Nevertheless, neither did they fear
her. It was strange.
Sayuri led them to the housed hot spring. She told them, "You two will wash here. Then you will go to the healer. She
will examine you both. Then you will go to the room she directs you to. There you will stay until I call for you in the
morn. At that time, things will be made clear to you." She turned to leave but Sango asked, "Where is Kagome?"
"What is that to you?" asked Sayuri. Her voice was slightly harsh as she said, "You two will go nowhere near her until
it is shown that you acknowledge what you did, you have proven yourself free of Kikyou's influence and that you can be
trusted to not harm her." Then without a backwards glance, she walked away.
